All in the family.
“Salman Abedi’s younger brother arrested in Libya over alleged Isis links,” by Will Worley, Independent, May 24, 2017:
Libyan authorities say they have arrested Hashem Abedi, the younger brother of Manchester attacker Salman Abedi, in Tripoli on suspicion of links to Isis.
A local counter terror force known as Rada detained Mr Abedi, 20, on Tuesday evening.
His brother Salman Abedi killed 22 people and injured many more after detonating a suicide bomb at a concert in Manchester on Monday night.
Dramatic footage shows armed police storming ‘house of suicide bomber’
Hashem Abedi had been in touch with attacker Salman Abedi, spokesman Ahmed Bin Salem told Reuters.
“We have evidence that he is involved in Daesh (Isis) with his brother,” Mr Bin Salem said. We have been following him for more than one month and a half.”
“He was in contact with his brother and he knew about the attack.”
Salman Abedi is also believed to have spent time in Libya, from where his family originates, prior to the attack.
The north African country is highly unstable and home to numerous militias and factions, including Isis and other Islamist extremists.
Another sibling, Ismail Abedi, 23, was arrested yesterday in Manchester by UK counter-terror officers.
The Abedi parents are living in Libya and have reportedly denied their son’s involvement in the attack….
mortimer says
Salman Abedi (Koran memorizer who chanted Islamic prayers for weeks before the attack) and his brother who joined ISIS in Libya do not indicate any MOTIVE for the SUICIDE BOMBING in Manchester.
Nothing to see here, move along.
And don’t spoil our rubbish narrative that ‘Islam is peaceful’.

That’s mighty ‘PEACEFUL’-looking ARMOR-PIERCING RIFLE that boy is carrying. Must be for some very BIG squirrels he’s hunting in the back yard!
Nothing to see, people. Move along.

What I can’t stand are the idiots on the news saying, “How did this happen? How do we prevent this in the future?” Are you FN kidding me?
Look, it’s simple…round ALL of them up and kick them out!
And all that BS about islamophobia makes me sick! It’s like saying not all Germans were Nazis. Yeah…right.

l couldn’t believe what Maajid Nawaz said on CNN about this. He’s actually talking sense and even condemns the term ‘Lone Wolf’ as a misnomer – which is true, because none of these lunatics are ever alone. But, it looks like you have to be muslim [two in this case] before they’ll allow you to speak the Truth.

Don’t trust ANY moslims. There is a reason Tommy Robinson dis-associated himself from Quilliam.
nawaz is a taqqiya artist fraud – lying to the Kuffar. He offers some vague succor to the aggrieved Kuffar after a potentially ecosystem changing attack such as happened in Manchester, to give the appearance of moderation – and then will be back to his antics once the heat dies down; same as the impermanent treaties (Hudyna) of islam under mad m0hamhead – ceasefire while islam is in trouble; to be broken once they sense they have retrieved the ascendency.
My clue as to the insencerity of nawaz is in his tone of voice and speech patterns – slimy. He reminds me of tariq ramadan in this respect.
I repeat – NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER trust any moslims, as long as they remain moslims.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
HEAR, HEAR!!!
I frequently say, all Mohammadans are guilty, they are guilty of sitting their children and grandchildren on their knee and telling them that Mohammad was really great guy.
Think about it. All Mohammadans are complicit in perpetuating this belief system into the future. They are all complicit and thus all have blood on their hands.

Richard, Maajid Nawaz is an equivocal figure *at best*. He has opposed any efforts to defend against Jihad terror, and has equated Donald Trump to Jihad terrorists. His think tank, the Quilliam Foundation, has waffled as well.
Jack Diamond says
Big deal. His objective is to exonerate Islam from any connection to “Islamists” and “jihadism” or this kind of (Islamic) violence. He even exonerates it from Shariah. But Nawaz is not a reformer, his efforts are aimed at the kuffar. Meantime, yes, these “mujahideen” are not ever lone wolves, they are sheltered by the (ever growing) Muslim community.

All true, Jack.

I find it highly disconcerting that all of these people are being arrested now. The authorities seem to have very thorough dossiers on all of them. Why were they not dealt with when they came up on the radar screen?
Somehow I feel there are individuals in the political layer in the UK that are running interference for all these people. And then when an actual criminal act occurs they can no longer be “protected” and are rounded up.

“Somehow you feel”?

Here is the problem:
There are circa 4M moslims in the UK. The elite know the risk they represent to British culture and the working class British people. They know the inevitable outcome of importing more muzz into the UK and the consequences of them outbreeding indigenous British people. The issue is they don’t know what to do. It will be massively expensive to ship all muzz out of the island that is Great Britain and virtually impossible to do anyway. What muzz hell-hole (pakistan, SA, Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya (you know the usual suspects) can afford to accept them? The answer is NONE. So they kick the can down the road and leave it for someone else to deal with; AND
they know the other option; the inevitable one is a civil-war and be assured that is what is coming – I just can’t predict with any reasonable assurance when that will happen – but at a guess, within 10 years.
AND there will be civil-war all over continental Europe as well. Politicians in general; but particularly European pols and ‘democrat pols in USA, disgust me even more than the adherents of islam disgust me.
Apologies for typos and grammatical errors (I don’t have time to tidy up tonight).

Okay, done.
Seriously though, I was thinking more at the local level and with full complicity.
Still your enumeration has an effect: here I am scrolling down a long list. Scrolling, scrolling and still scrolling. And I’m not even a citizen of the UK and it’s giving me the shivers. I can’t imagine the reaction of someone from the UK scrolling down that list!!
I thought we had it bad here in Canada. The Mohammadian representation in our government is double their population level!!! (Fortunately, Mohammadians are mostly in one party, so the electorate can deal with if they ever realize what’s happening.)
What I’m hoping for is that one of the more far-gone European countries fails the first, rather than all of Europe falling. This will shock the rest of Europe and the world into actually waking up.
Much like the nobility in Europe before the French revolution. They all dabbled enthusiastically in revolutionary talk and ideals. They thought they were so chic. They thought they were so noble to espouse all the high ideals. Then the revolution came and after it the terror (not just one but several). It wasn’t so chic and fashionable anymore. It was also too late for the French nobility but the nobility in the rest of Europe sure woke up.

I feel sorry for these people. They may think they have a martyr and may be rejoicing. That will help them endure anything since their martyr is able to get all of them into Heaven. They think he is in Heaven and don’t worry about him. It is a point of view. From a Christian point of view he may be in hell. No one can tell for sure. Atheists think he is dead and that is the end.

I think I’ve said before that the UK sold its soul to Saudi Arabia years ago. Now it is payback time and the price is everything that is British. “Rue Britannia” is the new theme song, The British Lion is a toothless pussy cat and the Dragon has barbecued and eaten St George. No wonder the movie about King Arthur flopped.
