The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was forced to apologize for a suicide bombing training exercise in May 2016 because the mock bomber yelled “allahu akbar” during the exercise.
A case of political correctness waging war against reality. The training exercise was specifically intended to advance understanding and preparation for possible jihadist attacks. Jihadis often shout “Allahu akbar” as they slaughter infidels. Many peaceful Muslims use the phrase in other contexts, too, but a mock jihad suicide bombing exercise is not conducted because of peaceful Muslims, but because of the Islamic jihadists who yell “Allahu akbar” as a war cry right before they commit their of act martyrdom, which they deem to be a heroic act in obedience to Allah.
In fact, after 9/11, a four-page document was discovered in the baggage of one of the 9/11 hijackers, Mohamed Atta. It was extensively and devoutly Islamic, and outlined specific instructions about jihad against the infidel. Atta considered the shout of “Allahu akbar” to be important.
When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, ‘Allahu Akbar,’ because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers. God said: ‘Strike above the neck, and strike at all of their extremities.’ Know that the gardens of paradise are waiting for you in all their beauty, and the women of paradise are waiting, calling out, ‘Come hither, friend of God.’ They have dressed in their most beautiful clothing.
Those who complained about this exercise in Manchester need to educate themselves about what actually constitutes “racism” and what constitutes a peaceful society for all, including Muslims who sincerely renounce jihad terror and Sharia oppression. The hammering of political correctness renders Westerners ever more vulnerable to Islamic supremacist encroachment and jihad attacks.
“Manchester Police Apologized For Mock 2016 Suicide Bombing”, by Jack Crowe, Daily Caller, May 24, 2017:
The Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was forced to apologize for a suicide bombing training exercise in May 2016 because the mock bomber yelled “allahu akbar” during the exercise.
The exercise, which featured 800 volunteers and was designed to test emergency services response, was met with a wave of criticism on Twitter.
Manchester peace activist Dr. Erinma Bell was among the most vocal critics. She argued “a terrorist can be anyone” and “we need to move away from stereotypes.”
The Community Safety Organization, which seeks to combat Islamophobia, tweeted “This sort of thing panders to stereotypes and further divides us. It will increase anti-Muslim hate crime.”
GMP assistant chief constable Garry Shewan explained that the training exercise was specifically designed to mimic an ISIS style attack but quickly apologized.
“We acknowledge that it was unacceptable to use this religious phrase immediately before the mock suicide bombing, which so vocally linked this exercise with Islam,” he said. “We recognize and apologize for the offense that this has caused.”
Greater Manchester Mayor Tony Lloyd also apologized for the event stating that while the preparation measures were important they were “marred by the ill-judged, unnecessary and unacceptable decision by organisers” to have those playing the parts of terrorists shout allahu akbar…..
Walter Sieruk says
It’s absurd and nonsensical that the Manchester police feel that they have to walk on egg shall in order not to offend Muslims.

“a terrorist can be anyone”
Really !! How many suicide bombings are carried on by Presbyterians or Hindus or Orthodox Jews?
BLC says
Yes. You especially have to watch those Presbyterians. Such extremists! When you hear them yell, “Amen!”, watch out!
Shone says
Or a Buddhist, or a Catholic, or Orthodox Russian, or Serb, or whatever. When the majority, or even absolute majority of terrorists are muslims, then what to think? The core of terrorism is ideology of islam it self. Do we have forgotten 1972 Olympics in Munich? Who have killed all those Israeli athletes? Nazis? No, Palestinian arabs, who are all happens to be muslims.
Jaladhi says
When will these “peace activists” understand that shouting allahu akbar while exploding bombs is not a Muslim stereotype – it is a fact. And what will a mock suicide bombing without yelling allahu akbar – it gives a ring of authenticity!! LOL….

Daniel Greenfield wrote an article in FrontPage about these very people…who are and have been, supporting moslums and refusing to see the danger as they raped the children and now have slaughtered some. Those who cry this fake phobia word should just go ahead and buy their personal preyer rug and be done with it.

They could shout “Ali’s snackbar” next time instead.

The Community Safety Organization, which seeks to combat Islamophobia, tweeted “This sort of thing panders to stereotypes and further divides us…” seems to blame the people who object to being a human sacrifice in the Satanic ritual to Satan (regardless of the name he prefers now; allah).
What divides people will hopefully be demonstrated on the staff of this stupid organization. Specifically, the terrorist bomb divides the terrorist body as well as any who are around him or her.
There was a time when mental illness was treated. Now governments seem to prefer letting them act out their aggression’s by killing innocent people as it if were the only moslem therapy they understand.

Given the demographic of my town I know that if I hear “Allah u Akbar” then there is a high likelihood that violent attacks will soon happen against people who are not muslim. That is not being “racist” (Islam is not a race). It is a statement of probability. I have NEVER heard ANYONE say “Allah u akhbar” in my town. And I do not wish to hear it seconds before my head is blown off. There have been violent attacks on non muslims by non muslims in my town. Those attacks have a probability which seems to be related to hearing the words “Give me your wallet” or “Open the cash register”. Fortunately all of those violent attacks are not common where I live. I want it to stay that way.

Forgive me but I have another comment. It seems the British police are furious that detailed pictures of some of the explosives used in Manchester were released by some US newspapers. Obviously the British Police were not furious enough to shutdown or eliminate all potential jihadis from the UK prior to the Manchester incident. They have lists of those considered to be at risk of “unleashing their inner Mohammed”. Why didn’t they kick them all out of the UK? Will they proceed with any action against the US newspapers?

My Rabbi — who is a passionate advocate for social justice and brilliant scholar with dual training in both rabbinic and law schools — makes an eloquent case that the unfortunate examples of extremism and workplace violence would best be addressed by inter-faith dialogue. This is of critical importance.
I am sure that the apology of the Manchester Police (for their use of a compelling Arabic phrase from the Holy Koran in a terror-related training simulation) did much to encourage inter-faith dialogue.
Former US President Obama, who is also a brilliant student of history, has beautifully affirmed that Islamophobia is simply not who we are as citizens of the West: we must resist the high horse of Christian imperialism and its tragic legacy. The long arc of history bends toward justice. One can never say this too many times. The apology of the Manchester Police echoes the overarching message of this transformational American President.
The most important issue today is Russian meddling in Western elections, including in the United States and UK. Thank God for the Hon. Nancy Pelosi, who is a brilliant student of democratic government. Why even vote if the Russians are going to hack our elections?
Even in these troubled times, so often beset by man-made disasters, Americans can take pride as a nation in President Obama’s election in 2008 and re-election in 2012 as an affirmation of the nation’s fundamental values. Richly deserved was his recognition and acclaim as a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize. To reread his landmark speech in Cairo in 2009 is to behold greatness and a boldness of vision. Therein lies the road to a lasting multicultural peace based in a new beginning of mutual respect. Let us strive, throughout the UK and EU, to be worthy of his historic leadership.
Thank you for your consideration.

Thank you for the best laugh of my somewhat dreary day.

Thanks for the well-crafted, subtle, humor. Hilarious. Expect an offer to be a speech writer for a politician.

@Moshe. Keep drinking the kool-aid. Your brilliant Rabbi who is studied in the Rabbinic and Civil Laws speaks and acts within a level of knowledge that excludes about 99.9% of the real people of the world. People who don’t understand his level of civilization and legal order, will not act according to his moral code and, unfortunately, will continue to strike at the unprepared masses who are not protected by the Ivory Tower in which your Rabbi resides.

“training exercise was specifically designed to mimic an ISIS style attack ”
And everyone knows that the killers of isis don’t shout that…oh, wait, they do in fact shout that.
The apology should not have been made. The exercise was to like an isis attack and they say it.
If they simulate an attack by another, unrelated to islum group, they can leave it out.
People should not surrender to the beast.
somehistory says
“was to seem or be like an isis attack and they say it.”
And this entire thing about *dividing* us. We are divided….along the lines of who is loving islum….and who hates the evil beast.
And by cracky, that division will stay….some people may change sides…but the two sides will stay divided.

THE WAR CRY OF MOHAMMEDANS COMES FROM GODDESS WORSHIP
“In 624 at the ‘battle called Uhud’, the war cry of the Qurayshites was, “O people of Uzzā, people of Hubal!” = the war cry was “Allah waKubâr” = Allah and the Great (Goddess)
Allat was also referred to as al-Kubra (The Greatest one) … i.e. the brightest and morning star…Venus (Aphrodite in Greek).
…the lexical meaning of Akbar, as in Allah-u Akbar, is the male form, whereas Kub(e)raa is the female form … giving Allat al-kubera … the Goddess is the Greatest…similar to the Great & Mighty Aphrodite
Al-‘Uzzá (the Mighty Goddess) was also called ‘Chabar’ (the great) or ‘Allat-al-Chabra’. Mohammed using a pun, twisted this into ‘Allahu Akbar’, meaning ‘Allah is greater than Allat’.
Also similar to the war cry “Allah wa-Kubâr” = Allah (Huba) and (his) Great (goddess Uzza).
The Moon Crescent and the Venus Star.
mortimer says
The war cry of Allahu akbar is a twisting of the war cry honoring the Arabian Aphrodite…in other words, the Mohammedan war cry is a form of misogyny.

New Rule: Non-Muslims MUST stop apologizing to the devotees of the Religion of Perpetual Outrage. We don’t owe them anything, except our disdain.
If they get offended enough, maybe they’ll leave. If they understand that we DON’T respect them or their bat-shit religion, and we’re not going to submit to them, or allow them to feel all puffed-up and entitled anymore, maybe they’ll find that so intolerable (coming from the hated infidels), they’ll just up and go.
That would save us the hassle of deporting them.
Islam the religion of killers says
They could shout “our god is greatest” that’s not “racist or Islamaphobic” that’s the truth, it would be interesting to watch the muslims try to twist that into victimhood,:) how could they ????
Our god is greatest, then shoot blanks all over the place, antagonist ,,,, I don’t think so

Discrimination is to determined between two choices, is forbidden there is no difference between good and bad…all shades of whatever…so I wonder how well that is working. I think it really works well for the bad or bad behavior or bad doctrine or bad policy. What has race got to do with it, I don’t know…have to ask……those who use the word racist.
