“The social-justice crowd are moving toward the same point as the Charlie Hebdo killers, and for the same reason: They’re too stupid to argue.”
Yes.
Here is an excellent take on what happened to me in Iceland and its larger implications.
“The Poisoning of Robert Spencer,” by Mark Steyn, May 18, 2017:
For years now I’ve said that anti-free-speech leftists and the men who slaughtered the staff of Charlie Hebdo, shot up Lars Vilks’ event in Copenhagen, etc, are merely different points on the same continuum: They’re both in the shut-up business: both groups find it quicker and easier and more satisfying to silence you than to debate you.
There were those who found the comparison offensive – to whom I would on good-humored days grant that the two points on the same continuum were nevertheless some distance apart.
Well, they got considerably closer in Reykjavik last week.
Robert Spencer, the author of several bestselling books on Islam, a brave crusader against the dopier multiculti illusions and the proprietor of the indispensable Jihad Watch, gave a speech at the Grand Hotel, went to unwind at dinner afterwards, and was poisoned by a social-justice warrior. Here’s Robert’s account of what happened…
That’s quite a sophisticated operation – a two-man team, the first a fake fan, the second a post-kiss-of-death gloater.
Before the banking crash of ’08, Iceland was flush, and celebs like Elton John were flown in for gala bashes. But it’s all quietened down a bit since then, so the Spencer event was a big deal. He drew an audience of 500 – which in a town of 125,000 and a nation of 300,000 is pretty impressive. There was lots of coverage of his visit – none of which actually quoted him or excerpted his speech or interviewed those who were interested in hearing what he had to say. Instead the media preferred to cover the few dozen protestors of his trip. In all the column inches devoted to Robert Spencer, no journalist thought to seek a comment from Robert Spencer. There are two sides to every story – except this guy’s story: he doesn’t deserve a side.
This kind of dehumanization sends a message – and the man who poisoned Robert got it loud and clear:
Those who paint the targets, and those who shoot at them, think they’re doing something great. Not only does the Left fill those whom it brainwashes with hate, but it does so while portraying its enemies as the hatemongers, such that violent Leftists such as the young man who drugged me feel righteous as they victimize and brutalize for the crime of disagreement.
I have no doubt whatsoever that whoever poisoned me in Iceland went away feeling happy over what he had done. If he told anyone what he did, I’m sure he was hailed as a hero. I’m also aware that many who read this will crow and exult in knowing that someone who hates my opposition to jihad terror and Sharia oppression made me seriously ill. This is how degenerate and evil the Left has become.
I don’t know how I’d stand up to a cocktail of Ritalin and Ecstasy. I do know there’s at least one person in my modest entourage it would kill. And I have no doubt that had the fellow in the restaurant switched on the radio the following morning and heard that Robert Spencer had died in hospital overnight he would have celebrated.
Like the guns at Singapore, the social-justice mob’s fingers are pointing in the wrong direction: They accuse their opponents endlessly of “otherization”; yet they are the ones who so deny the humanity of “the other” that it seems cool and heroic to attempt to kill a chap who gave a speech you object to – even though you never heard the speech, and, even if you had, are incapable of articulating what exactly in it you take issue with.
Douglas Murray and I noted after the tenth anniversary of the Mohammed cartoons how strangely controversial the post-event dinner has become. In Copenhagen, the restaurant panicked at the sight of the PET – the Danish security-service agents – and canceled our booking. As Douglas wrote:
Ten years ago, you could publish depictions of Mohammed in a Danish newspaper. Ten years later, it is hard for anyone who has been connected with such an act to find a restaurant in Copenhagen that will serve them dinner.
For those in Robert Spencer’s line of work, these events are undeniably stressful. There are security precautions, of course, but you never know, from the Vilks event in Copenhagen to Robert’s in Garland, Texas, whether some jihadist will succeed in breaking through. There’s a sense of relief when you exit the stage and it’s all gone off without incident. You’re looking forward to a drink and a bite to eat in convivial company. And you’re on your post-performance high, so you’re generally bonhomous when people approach professing to be fans and seeking a selfie or an autograph. And there’s three or four and they’re all around you, and you put your drink down on the table – as Douglas and I did again and again in the bar we wound up in late that night. And the fans move on, and you pick up your glass without a thought…
Robert Spencer will never do that again.
The social-justice crowd are moving toward the same point as the Charlie Hebdo killers, and for the same reason: They’re too stupid to argue. For the Islamic imperialists, debate is a largely alien concept. For the left, it’s simply too much effort. As I said here many years ago, the great appeal of multiculturalism is that it absolves you from having to know anything about other cultures: If they’re all equally valid, what’s the point? Slap on the CO-EXIST bumper sticker and off you tootle. No need to worry whether the “C” might have a bit of a problem with some of the other letters, and that indeed, if not for the “C”, you wouldn’t need a bumper-sticker admonition to CO-EXIST in the first place. But, after two generations of social engineering, of the substitution of attitudes for education, it would require too much effort to equip yourself to argue against the difficult questions a man such as Robert Spencer raises. It’s literally easier to kill him.
Not yet in the blood-lusting exultant scimitar-raising style of the decapitators of French priests. But just through whatever you’ve got in your stash that might ensure he’ll be flying out of Reykjavik by the handles. So for the moment there is still a continuum. But it’s narrowing, and will narrow still.
Get well soon, Robert.

The left have crossed a line with the attempted murder of Robert Spencer.
I hope that, sonner or later, President Trump will arrange a Night of the Long Knives to remove the Alinskyite conspiracy from Obama down.
It might involve firing squads and disappearances, but jihad is hell.

i choose to obey the law as long as possible. after the nukes are detonated by the nazis in iran, who were loosed by mr. obama and his alinskyite leftist cronies, like clinton, the long night will descend, and all bets are off – but *only* then.
we are a nation of laws. if mr. trump issues lawless executive orders like mr. obama did, i would oppose them as much, and for the same reason: they violate the law, which is the only thing between us and a government like putin’s in russia. misbehavior by the liars and fools of the left is no reason to begin acting like them.
vlparker says
Well, I certainly agree that a Night of the Long Knives is a ridiculous suggestion. However, conservative freedom lovers do need to start playing the game by the left’s rules. This is a war for the survival of the US and western civilization, and if people like Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions keep caving to the left then we will definitely lose the war.
Trump should ignore the illegal court orders that halted his immigration moratorium on the grounds that no law was cited by the judges. He should start firing or transfering Democrats at the White House, in the State Department, in the Justice Department and at the Pentagon. Sessions never should have recused himself from this ridiculous Russian investigation. As long as Republican leaders remain weak, or in some instances useful idiots, the Democrats will continue their march to tyranny.
simpleton1 says
One of Alinsky’s rules,
They use social justice points, use guilt, white privilege and many other points.
How ever they are driving others to see a point of “take no prisoners” as hard liners follow that point and the many others tacitly approve as they accept that it is “done in their name” but with plausible denial.
We need to “out” the rules of sharia, including the poisonings, assassins,
We should aid them particularly when a long summer day during ramadan, reminding them and insisting they should have the fortitude as any sustenance is ‘poison’, and not eat, while you eat the savory bacon etc.
Just why is a muslim mixing with a kaffir? in a fun tone.
As well as us, Muslims need to know about the koran, chronologically, abrogations, hadith, sira and sunnah,
It is a war, that islam has declared, so we must respond with all tools, to not only survive but to win.
The atrocities in WW2 when done as was attested by many of the fighters, was done and dusted and democracy returned.
Hard hitting decisions made during WW2 which only lasted about 6 years. Though hard, the shorter the war, then easier to return to life and democratic western laws.
It is in timing, as Alinski needs villains, for his supporters to pursue.
If one moves too soon and has not enough in depth knowledge and supporters it is simple to be vilified by the opposition.
Too late and the game is over.
And Mortimer, though in a sense I may beg to differ, I do appreciate your elucidations about islam, in holding their feet to the fire. Those islamic doctrines that you have bought up, as they group up, and refresh many things I already know
Appreciate Mark Steyn’s works and his acknowledgement to R.S.
Get well to Robert Spencer, and keep on in the best ways you know.
Many people on different fronts, using differing views, strengths, knowledge and experience but in all common opposed to islam ideology.
Thank you.

Surak, your idea that our bombing the Nazis made us not better than them is false.
We acted defensively, and we stopped as soon as they surrendered. Are you unaware of this?
TheBuffster says
Surak said: “Mortimer, I understand your point of view. “We’re better than that.” Based on your reasoning, the Allies should not have bombed Germany and Japan in WW2 because “We’re better than that.” Your path leads to suicide. I choose survival.”
Surak, I don’t think the issue here is exactly that “we’re better than that”, but that what we want to protect and keep is better than that, and if we don’t fight the battle *by our own ethical principles* on our own philosophical turf then we surrender the very principles we’re trying to save. We take our country into the very dictatorship we want to avoid.
Fighting by our own principles doesn’t mean we don’t bomb the enemy when the enemy refuses to stop invading and bombing and killing and sending people to slave labor torture camps. It means we bomb them if that’s what *has to be done* to stop them – we do what we have to do to win the war while retaining our own moral standards and sparing our own people as much as possible. But we don’t build our own slave labor torture camps and don’t rape the enemy’s women and we don’t murder our intellectual/political opponents extralegally to shut them up – we don’t set precedents in our own culture for savage barbarity so that we become the evil that we’re trying to destroy. The point is to stop them, not to become them.
When leftists or Muslims violate rights for the sake of their cause, they should be prosecuted to the furthest extent of the law. Our government should not permit their violence to take the place of peaceful discourse. The initiation of physical force should be outlawed and that law should be taken seriously, as the line that must not be crossed.
Groups who are reasonably suspected of plotting terror and indoctrinating people to do crimes or overthrow the government by force should be monitored. Nothing wrong there. If they’re caught plotting terror, they should face serious consequences and should not be given the opportunity to ever carry out their agenda. None of this goes against anyone’s rights or freedom of speech. It protects freedom of speech and all of our other rights from violent actions from those who wish to enslave us. They are actions against violent actions or *proven* plots to take such action, and they are done within the law.
The problem today is that the people administering the laws today too often don’t do their proper jobs. If they’d just *do* them, and if they weren’t so blinded by PC dogma or social cowardice to face the fact of Islam’s nature that they’re scared to name things as they are and go after people who actually break the law (e.g., sex grooming gangs), they wouldn’t be bringing in millions of Muslims – armies of people hostile to our values and rights. We don’t have to stoop to the left’s and the Islamic level to protect our values (and thus destroy our values in action). We just have to *live up to our principles* and defend them according to the ethics of liberty.
The Night of the Long Knives was used to consolidate Hitler’s power and bring full, totalitarian dictatorship to Germany. That’s all that such a method can ever do. Only those who want to kill liberty operate that way. Only those who have destroyed their own moral compass and are seeking absolute power operate that way.

vlparker said: ” However, conservative freedom lovers do need to start playing the game by the left’s rules. This is a war for the survival of the US and western civilization, and if people like Donald Trump and Jeff Sessions keep caving to the left then we will definitely lose the war.”
I agree that caving in to the left means we will lose the war. But that doesn’t mean that we should play by the left’s rules.
I think it would be a gigantic mistake to play the game by the left’s rules – the Alinsky Rules for Radicals – because those rules are ethically wrong and anyone who plays by those rules destroys his own character. People who have the truth on their side don’t have to play by those rules. What they need to do is unrelentingly pursue and expose the truth, and expose the bad character of the people who play by the Alinsky rulebook. We don’t have to make anything up, we don’t have to indulge in half-truths or complete lies or falsely destroy anyone’s reputation. We don’t have to commit libel or slander or fake news. What we need to do is to *scrupulously* pursue and reveal *the whole truth and nothing but the truth*.
And we need to remind people that grounding our decisions on the whole truth and nothing but the truth is the only way to make decisions that will bring us the results that we want. Liars, ultimately, are no friends to anyone. Not even to themselves.
People who lie – and that’s a major part of the Alinsky method – even for a supposed good cause, pit themselves against the facts of reality and all the hazards that implies. That doesn’t give a person the advantage. The person who has the advantage is the one who has truth on his side and never gives up on it, never compromises with falsehood, and who – not a small achievement – knows how to explain the truth clearly and compellingly to people who want to know what it is.
Too many on the right – especially among politicians – have been weak-kneed compromisers, not fully grounded in principle, not articulate enough (probably because they don’t know their own case all the way down or don’t have any solid real convictions), too socially cowardly to put themselves on the line, and bland as bland can be. That never wins.
vlparker said: “”Trump should ignore the illegal court orders that halted his immigration moratorium on the grounds that no law was cited by the judges. He should start firing or transfering Democrats at the White House, in the State Department, in the Justice Department and at the Pentagon…”
Trump should do what the law permits him to do to drain the swamp and to protect the US from an Islamic invasion disguised as compassion to refugees. There’s plenty he can do. There are many people he has a right to fire and replace. As long as he stays within what the Constitution permits, he should be able to get the job done. But he has to stay honest, learn and face all the pertinent facts, and base his decisions on that.

It is honestly considered a cult by American standards but because theres so many muslims they don’t call it that. No hate brother, as an American, we’re on the same side. I just want you to educate yourself cuz I’m sure if you do you’ll feel the same way as I do. Obviously, you have not read Jihad Watch very long. mortimer is one of the most informed anti-jihadists scholars on the planet! You will learn much about Islam if you read his posts here for a few weeks.
With respect, you may not agree with him about how to best address the “innately evil” Islam, but my guess is that it would take years for you to know as much about Islam as mortimer knows.

It is difficult to maintain one’s ethics when fighting an entity which has no ethics. I believe in fighting Islam with every tool we have—-within the law.
Our laws prohibit violent demonstrations, yet our law is not upheld by the authorities. In fact, they seem to egg on the violence of the left, if we can believe that the FBI aided and abetted the Garland jihadists–and I have no reason to believe it is not true. And every time a Jihadist strikes the FBI announces that they had him or her in their sites, yet they did nothing to prevent the violence.
The dark forces in our country are trying to perform a coup d’état against President Trump, yet none dare call it what it is.

Yes of course Michael’s statement was beyond the pale but we must grapple with the leftist enablers of chaos. Time is short and civilization and decency are slipping away. Mortimer, you fail to understand that we are now in a civil war with the SJW fascists and their Islamic allies. These scumbags are attacking Trump supporters and preventing those who disagree with liberal dogma from speaking. It may come down to a violent civil war, and I am going to stand up for freedom of speech and religion, which are my rights as an American.
UNCLE VLADDI says
Michael is right.
We’re not “about pluralism, democracy and free speech.”

Hell, I would like to give a few people a punch in the nose at times, but I don’t, and what you suggest is far far worse. This is not the group to postulate such actions, such lack of insight. Most of the time, the troll tries to trick OTHERS into sanctioning violent/unlawful actions – e.g. “firing squads” (just in case anyone thought “night of the long knives” was merely a figure of speech).
The transparent aim is to discredit JW and its readers as a bunch of dangerous, knuckle-dragging thugs, thus lending credence to tireless Left-totalitarian attempts to shut down JW as a haven of insubordinate “hate speech.”
P.S.: Never forget that “insubordinate” is the antithesis of “Islam” which means “submission.”
Beagle says
I suspect the huge uptick in “Nazis” posting on various platforms is frolls (froll: fake trolls – used to discredit a group) deployed to justify the new heavy-handed government censorship. The new government censorship is being implemented by ‘threatening’ (in reality cooperating with) social media companies. Merkel and Zuckerberg are on the same page as we know from their hot mic moment. But Zuck wants to have deniability so he can pretend to be for free speech. Hence, the governments and social media companies pretend they’re not working together.
Of course, idiots love to claim private companies can’t censor so no rights are violated. Which is like saying being in a privatized prison system is not incarceration so a habeas corpus petition may not be filed.

Steyn is my favorite writer. Let’s remember that he faced criminal charges in Canada for telling the factual truth (eventually the government dropped the charges), which made me like him even more.
What’s most interesting in this essay is that the coverage was totally one sided, with Spencer relegated to an object in videos targeted by protests and negative commentary. Well, that’s understandable. What was the Iceland press to do, ask him a question? Can’t do that, because Spencer would retort with a relevant quotation from the Holy Ko-Ran or some other Islamic scripture or source.

Steyn is another one of those brave intellectuals who isn’t afraid to defend truth and good morals. He knows first hand what it’s like to be a victim of leftist sympathizers who value islamic bigotry more than our democratic principles of equality and free speech.
Multiculturalism has become a kind of talismanic term used by the left to excuse themselves from their duty to good morality and country. The pretense is that we should all learn to live together and accept each other’s differences. How cozy. Unfortunately islam is not a multicultural ideology, it is unicultural, we are all expected to conform to their god’s bigoted and hateful maxims. Except, of course, when they are the underdog, then they’re all about living together with others in peace and harmony–and taqiyya. Then as their numbers increase the riots and protests start. Then comes the political wrangling. Terrorism increases as does the raping of our women and children. Sharia councils begin to appear along with their unfriendly enclaves. Assassinations of dissenters and apostates start happening. Employers get sued for not “accommodating” their religion. Attacks against women and other religions becomes more prevelant. Free speech is stifled for fear of jihad reprisals and leftist persecution. In short, democracy is destroyed by their ideology of hate and jihad aggression. This horror story is always the same wherever muslims are allowed to grow in significant numbers, we should expect the same result here in America. That’s why I never feel bad about speaking against it. Because at the core of all this is the doctrine by which they live–the immutable word of allah. It never changes, it never get’s better. It has always been violently evil and it always will be–full stop

Dr. Spencer is well-established as one of THE leading non-aligned qualified experts on islam in the world today. By ‘non-aligned’ I mean that, as a non-muslim, he his not bound to be its advocate or apologist, but is free to speak on the subject as an academic critic, from a standpoint of exceptionally well-informed impartiality. As such, he is simply essentially a seeker after the truth on the subject, no more and no less. So, what is it with the (‘left wing’?) PC establishment in Iceland and on both sides of the Atlantic, with UK authorities, and with the pathetic pair of deluded cretins involved in this little outrage, that they can’t for some reason bear to see this mangy hobby-horse of theirs submitted to intelligent scrutiny and maybe exposed as a worthless destructive fraud? Can’t they find any convincing arguments of their own to negate Dr. Spencer’s arguments? Would this be because they’re not up to it, or possibly that there just aren’t any convincing arguments against Dr. Spencer’s findings and perhaps they realise this? If it’s the latter, why do they continue with a worthless cause? Whatever their problem, are they really so stupid that they don’t realise that attempting to silence criticism – especially well-informed criticism of the quality of Dr. Spencer’s – is only going to throw suspicion back on THEM? Or are they so anaesthetised by their own ignorance or deluded bigotry as to be totally unaware of the consequential conclusions that the wider community might draw? Maybe other peoples’ opinions/reactions simply aren’t of any consequence to these individuals and their ilk; in which case, they are indeed offering a very fitting advert for islam and corroborating Dr. Spencer’s thesis perfectly.
Wellington says
One small correction, Jayell. Robert Spencer does not have a doctorate. Now, for so many of us who know that Spencer knows an enormous amount about Islam this makes zero difference, but to snobs aplenty they have used the fact that Spencer does not have a doctorate in religious studies or history or some such discipline to dismiss him. It’s pure snobbery on parade of course, and besides many with doctorates are highly deficient human beings. I know, I met enough of them during a third of a century in academic life. In fact, now possessing a doctorate in some humanities discipline should actually put one on notice that you’re probably dealing with someone lacking in common sense, moral intelligence, and even a dearth of knowledge about their own subject matter.
Doctoral degrees ain’t what they used to be. Not by a long shot. And that’s why, as I have mentioned before here at JW, I coined the acronym “DWD,” which stands for “Dodo With a Doctorate.” DWDs are everywhere nowadays.

ISIS neo-Caliph, Dr. Abubkr Al-Bagdhadi has a doctorate in Islamic Theology from the University of Bagdhad, so why aren’t the effete apologists for Islam not agreeing with him when his warriors rape, kill, throw gays from tall buildings, crucify humans and burn them in cages?
The vile Islam-loving hypocrites either keep very quiet or they say that the ISIS Caliph is practicing a wrong interpretation of Islam. What utterly brainless fools.

No argument here, maghan, with your query, which is an apt one to be sure because it effectively indicates the hypocrisy by academics (and others) who dismiss Robert Spencer because he does not have a doctorate but who ignore the fact that al-Baghdadi does.
Rank hypocrisy on display again indeed, along with your standard stupidity, by well educated but highly foolish people. Hell, such people can be found most everywhere in the West today, which very much helps to explain why the West is in so much damn trouble at present.

I was traveling and am only now catching up. I’m beyond horrified at what Robert Spencer went through. Poisoning is one of my big fears. I can’t imagine what kind of nightmarish experience this was. Thank God he’s all right. Though as Mark Steyn said, no doubt in future he’ll be more cautious around people who claim to be fans. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Spencer and telling him how much I appreciate this website when I stopped by a church where I’d heard one was likely to run into him (I’m Catholic myself). I hate to think that now, such an encounter would be tempered by his need to keep an eye open for the possibility that it was all a cover for a potentially deadly assault. Unbelievable.
dumbledoresarmy says
Bradamante: you mention that you are a Catholic? I assume therefore that you have Mr Spencer at the head of your prayer list. At least one rosary daily, for his physical – and spiritual – protection. And don’t forget to pray for the protection of his *family*.

I hope Robert makes a complete recovery from this poisoning. It’s a good article by Mark Steyn. As he says, “For those in Robert Spencer’s line of work, these events (speeches, etc,) are undeniably stressful…you never know whether some jihadist will succeed in breaking through (the security).” Robert, Steyn, Wilders, Geller, Sultan, et all, are all incredibly brave people. The people who oppose those brave enough to tell the truth about barbaric Islam, whether the Muslims with murder in their twisted minds, or the bizarrely Islamophile leftists who prefer Islam to Western civilisation, are indeed vicious creatures. All the best to you, Robert. Keep up your good work. This is a war we need to win or life will be hellish.

Can any one tell me how to effectively fight Islam and Liberals without force. I know we pasted the “dialogue” stage.
I voted for Trump and look how communist media and the “swamp” fighting and backstabbing the man who really wants to do good for America. They are talking impeachment. For talking to other world leaders? Insanity!
I want to know what is the way to win this civil war without violence. Any suggestions?

Part of it is that the tea party used it, and in some ways Trump also.
I really do hope violence does not proceed, and that eventually reason with all its lively arguments/debates/questions/discussion is bought back and accepted into every day life.
It does seem that a revolution needs to happen to get there.

Supposedly non violence, but I do see that it is giving others the arrows to fire.

Fine article from Mark Steyn, another hero of the Counter-Jihad.
The Remorseless Headsman says
People such as Mark Steyn and Robert Spencer are the voices of reason in a sea of madness. So far, the leftists and the muslims have been given a pass for the innocents they ravage and murder. We are rapidly approaching the tipping point and once the forces of reason and defenders of Western civilization are unleashed, there will be no turning back and there will be no mercy.
Matthieu Baudin says
“… But, after two generations of social engineering, of the substitution of attitudes for education, it would require too much effort to equip yourself to argue against the difficult questions a man such as Robert Spencer raises. It’s literally easier to kill him…”
It would be closer to reality to say THREE generations of social engineering. The Late ’60’s/ early ’70’s New Left/ Postmodern Generation are a Grandparents Generation – their grandchildren are commonly young adults already indoctrinated with the same lazy and rigid attitudes.

Very accurate. I was raised a Leftist in the 60s. The more the IRA bombed, the more Leftist adults accepted it and began to justify it. Rather than examine their beliefs, they began to repeat IRA propaganda. When I became a Christian in the early 80s, I would debate Leftists. They were big on debate, because they assumed that anyone who wasn’t a Leftist must be a moron. When I won clearly with logic and actual knowledge, they would become confused and enraged, trying to punch me for proving them wrong. Their natural instinct was to punish those they couldn’t defeat, rather than think.
dumbledoresarmy says
Thank you for your story. It offers a glimmer of hope. You say “I was raised a Leftist in the 60s”. But *then* you add – “…I became a Christian in the early 80s.”
And you *changed*.
Even those raised as ‘Leftists’ within the West, are *still* the children of ‘the West’, of what V S Naipaul dubbed “the universal civilisation”. Their parents, their grandparents, cannot entirely insulate them from *everything* that still persists “in the air”. All it might take is the prayers or words of a *non-fooled* grandparent or aunt or uncle, or something said by a schoolteacher or lecturer of integrity who goes against the tide, or someone they happen to work with or make friends with who ‘sows the seed’, or just a book they happen to pick up, one day, or a video they happen to watch.
May there be many who follow the same path as you did. We had better *pray* for such a thing to happen… I would also add that, as we all know, children and teenagers have been known to rebel against *whatever* it was their parents told them they MUST do or believe, so if something becomes unfashionable enough, the kids will start looking into it, even if, at the beginning, only as a way of shocking their parents… Perhaps some of the current mob of zealous, grovelling, dhimmified Islamophiles will be stunned when their children spin around and join the Resistance against Islamisation!

Allah’s warriors are promised 72 virgins. The Qur’an also states that they will have the virility of 100 men. Why 100 when there are just 72 virgins? Little is said that 28 boys (pearls) are added to round out the numbers.
Now, can anyone advise me where I might find the information to either confirm, or deny, that the after-life rewards, include young boys?
Two thirds of the Qur’an is all about Muhammad, Allah has the other third. One would expect that these numbers would be reversed (if Islam is truly a religion and not an Arab National Movement.)?

To all of the poster’s and commenters here. My rule is simple: “Find what the enemy (you do have to be open, honest and, apparently, brave enough to identify just exactly who and/or what that is. Especially if they’re evil) fears the most and then give it to him, them or it in spades. Give it to them until they either honestly give up or cease to exist. That is the only way to truly defeat such an enemy”. Harsh? Yes. Necessary? Only if you truly want to survive in freedom and justice.

This was very shocking to read. I have Mr. Spencer on my prayer list; now I am redoubling my prayers for his safety. I would say as a practical matter, Mr. Spencer, just take your own capped bottle of Aquafina with you, and if you want something alcoholic in your Aquafina bottle, prepare it in advance. But no, given all that you’ve done and said already fighting the good fight, you can’t just act like a regular Joe after a speech. Be careful please.

In Canada, Conservatives have been ceding the culture for generations. Our education system, our educators, our media, career bureaucrats and corporate interests are all far more vested in mass migration and cultural revisionism. Are you ready to trust your children’s lives to the institutions and ideas which have rendered us vulnerable to Islamism? That’s what we appear to be doing.
Many conservatives and liberals appear to have found a consensus: We’re too good to fight the enemy we have. They don’t want to compromise on pluralist and fictions which are only really sensible in a relatively homogenous nation. At the intersection of civilizations, such a proposition is untenable. The embrace of egalitarian precepts commits us to a course which entails the replacement of the social order.
As for prosecuting terrorism as a matter of law enforcement, it’s called the “Countering violent extremism” or CVE model. It has been precisely the response which Islamists have been advocating (cf. The Quoranic Concept of War) It suggests that we are not at war. It holds our enemy is a tactic (violence). CVE consists of reacting to violent threats – and will not destroy the enemy’s social and demographic infrastructure.
If conservatives want to conserve, they are conserving the liberal status quo. Until we’re ready for discrimination on religious and political grounds, our pathological altruism and fictitious equality will lead us further down that path. This is not a new proposition. Even the ancient greeks understood this. Alas, we’re too advanced to learn the lessons which were well understood in antiquity.
Beagle,
“idiots love to claim private companies can’t censor so no rights are violated. Which is like saying being in a privatized prison system is not incarceration so a habeas corpus petition may not be filed.”
Ah, I wish more people understood this. It’s possible the second main reasons I broke with libertarianism. The government de jure IS the government. That’s why permitting baizuo totalitarianism and Sharia is so pernicious.
