Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Nine injured as Erdoğan’s bodyguards violently attack Kurdish protesters in DC

May 18, 2017 8:13 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

According to witnesses, a brawl erupted when Erdoğan’s security detail attacked protesters carrying the flag of the Kurdish PYD party outside the residence.

This is a sign of what is to come. When Islamic supremacists are emboldened, their violence increases. Erdoğan has become emboldened recently — even more so since emerging victorious in a referendum that significantly broadened his powers:

The Turkish republic has always been flawed, but it always contained the aspiration that – against the backdrop of the principles to which successive constitutions claimed fidelity – it could become a democracy. Erdoğan’s new Turkey closes off that prospect.

The jihadist dictator Erdoğan is bent on expanding his powers both inside and outside Turkey. Erdoğan’s temper recently flared against Europe when several European governments refused “to allow his ministers to rally Turkish expatriates.” He also declared that “Europe is collapsing…Europe will pay for what they have done in humiliating and oppressing Turks”; and in response to a European headscarf ban in the workplace, he accused Europe of starting “a clash between the cross and the crescent.”

Now he is so bold as to allow his thugs to behave violently on American soil.

“’Erdoğan’s bodyguards’ in violent clash with protesters in Washington DC”, Guardian, May 17, 2017:

Nine people were hurt and two arrests were made during an altercation at the Turkish ambassador’s residence in the US capital during a visit by Turkey’s president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

According to witnesses, a brawl erupted when Erdoğan’s security detail attacked protesters carrying the flag of the Kurdish PYD party outside the residence. A local NBC television affiliate reported Erdoğan was inside the building at the time.

Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said the altercation broke out between two groups but he didn’t elaborate on the circumstances. He said two people were arrested, including one who was charged with assaulting a police officer.

“All of the sudden they just ran towards us,” Yazidi Kurd demonstrator Lucy Usoyan told ABC, adding that she was attacked by a pro-Erdoğan supporter.

“Someone was beating me in the head nonstop, and I thought, ‘Okay, I’m on the ground already, what is the purpose to beat me?’”

The altercation came the same day that Erdoğan met Donald Trump at the White House. The State Department declined to comment.

Earlier Trump and Erdoğan had stood side by side at the White House and promised to strengthen strained ties despite the Turkish leader’s stern warning about Washington’s arming of a Kurdish militia.

Fresh from securing his grip on Turkey with a referendum to enhance his powers, Erdoğan came to the Oval Office with complaints about US support for Kurdish fighters and what Ankara says is Washington’s harbouring of the mastermind of a failed coup.

But both leaders also tried to put a brave face on their differences and to renew a key alliance between Nato’s leading power and its biggest Muslim member, partners in the fight against the Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq.

“It is absolutely unacceptable to take the YPG-PYD into consideration as partners in the region, and it’s going against a global agreement we reached,” Erdoğan said, referring to the Kurdish Peoples’ Protection Units (YPG) in Syria.

“In the same way, we should never allow those groups who want to change the ethnic or religious structures in the region to use terrorism as a pretext,” he added…..

they have a video on Fox and the attacks are brutal: kicking people who are on the ground in the face. Some don’t look like bodyguards to me and I am hoping they will get those who have no diplomatic protection.

    islam at its best!

I think Trump will kick Turkey out of NATO, after making a deal with Russia.

You are right, Richard. The video is here:

      http://nypost.com/2017/05/17/turkish-thugs-must-pay-for-assault-on-dc-protest/

These thugs are attacking the peacefully protesting Kurds *right in front of the police*, who are acting to keep the peace. This is absolutely shocking.

    Bastards!
We may only imagine what Erdogan’s critics face not only on Turkish streets but in overall society. 10 rolled on the ground in Washington – 110,000 already imprisoned, arrested and fired in Turkey!
But Turkey remains firmly in NATO. That was only reaffirmed at the DC meeting by Trump to Erdogan.

Enough of Turkey and its Nazi-like government operations. Erdogan rules Turkey to a degree that it has nothing whatsoever in common with the United States. We have one major air base (Incirlik) in Turkey. I suspect that Incirlik was established because of its near proximity to Russian air space.
That U.S. base exists in a sea of Turkish despotism that surrounds it. Turkey will deal with anyone, including the Russian regime, because it needs time to solidify Erdogan’s obvious attempt to revive the Turkish Empire that ruled the Middle East and parts of Africa, that invaded the Balkans to establish Islam in Kosovo, Albania, and other small Balkan countries which abut Christian/Secular E.U. countries.
From those places flow many of the Euro born and raised Muslims who abide by jihad terrorism.
Erdogan believes they can become part of his Turkish Empire quest. He seeks to bring a Turkich Empire’s return, pre-WW1 days.Notice how readily Merkel-Germany have befriended Erdogan, to a degree where a significant percentage of the population in Germany are Turkish nationals. Believe it, they do not aspire for a greater Germany, they’re all for Turkey taking over Germany, and Merkel-Germany are too blind to believe it. In addition Turkey did lose its empire in WW1 as an ally of Germany but. Islam is on the march in Europe, you can’t miss the fact! The EU chooses not to believe it, like sheep waiting their turns to be slaughtered by the wolf in their barnyard.

If you’ve followed Erdogan and his ‘there’s no moderate Islam, no 2 Islams, Islam is Islam’, AND you’ve studied Islam (learning from Robert Spencer, Dr. Bill Warner, Brigitte Gabriel, Pamela Geller, Andrew McCarthy, the Glazov Gang (all of them), Raymond Ibrahim, etc.), followed Erdogan’s increasing grab of power, and the reports of the circle of those who see him as the new ‘Caliph’ of the New Ottoman empire, you’d recognize a Hitler, NO, a ‘Mohammed’ in him and his actions.

Erdogan is dangerous. He believes the Qur’an, that Muslims are to fight the kafir till all religion is for Allah, and he believes the time is now..

Praise to Christine Williams for this: “When Islamic supremacists are emboldened, their violence increases.”

That is the truest statement. The Islamists commit atrocities, misogyny, censorship, bigotry, rapes, thefts, betrayals and the Western elites cover for them.

Knowing that they will not likely be criticized they are emboldened to continue their thuggishness.

Erdogan is a thug and Turkey is more run by his thugs every day. The West has to stop it before it cannot be reversed. Erdogan should be removed forcibly before he becomes a huge menace. Turkey should have its borders reduced so the Kurds and Armenians can have viable, independent countries and Constantinople should finally be removed from Turkey.

I have known a lot of Turks during my lifetime and IMO most of them are stupid and will believe anything you tell them, no matter how outlandish. I am reminded of a story I heard in Istanbul where a village was shown cartoons including Mickey Mouse. The villagers thought the mice were Americans and remarked that we are really funny looking. They, too, marry their first cousins and I know of one case where a man married his niece. Said he couldn’t help falling in love with her because she was so beautiful. In many cases, marriages are arranged at birth. A case in point, was a woman named Remziye who was betrothed and named at birth to be the wife of baby Remzi. Apparenty, Remziye meant property of Remzi.. She however rebelled and did not marry Remzi when she grew up but was stuck with the name. I may have the spelling of the names wrong, but the story is true.

    Turkish Revenge.

I recall the Mavi Marmara incident, where 9 Turkish ‘activists’ were shot to death while attacking Israeli soldiers with clubs and blades. I doubt that any lesser violence would have stopped these thugs. It would have been undiplomatic to shoot Erdogan’s security detail on the streets of Washington DC, while he was visiting. But I suspect that we will have to go to war, if we want to stop Erdogan from occupying Syrian Kurdistan.

Do I understand correctly that bodyguards left the Turkish soil to attack lawful demonstrators on US soil and the police watched while the bodyguards beat demonstrators bloody? It seems the officers have read the DC Court of Appeals decision that says they have no duty to protect “individuals”. If the officers watched without protecting what should have been a “permitted” demonstration, there is reason to fear. If the “demonstrators” went on Turkish soil, that would be different. Then the demonstration would become a trespass, and easily graduate to a riot, which if on US diplomatic soil in other countries would give the Marines present at the embassy or consulate reason to protect the property and occupants.

It could be a good time to review the “demonstrations” in Iran that “occupied” the US embassy and held diplomatic personnel hostage for 444 days.

A shot across the bow to be sure and we’ll do nothing as usual. Let Edogan be the Turks problem the way Hillary was ours. It’s unfortunately way worse for them, we on the other hand have major problems to confront within our own nation before we mess with Erdogan. Arm the Kurdish some more that’s enough of taxing us for other countries problems! I’ll dontate ammo.

From the various history I have read Mohammad was not a Bedouin. He apparently came from a fairly prosperous family that was dedicated to the chief god of the Arabs. That god was Hubal chief god of the Arab pantheon of 360 gods, and was apparently married to the Sun goddess. Hubals’s daughter goddesses are Allat, ‘Uzza and Manat. Islamics have been distorting their history and where Islam came from for a long time.

I find it reprehensible and totally unacceptable that Turkish thugs were allowed to beat up Kurdish protestors on American soil! Although, of course, the Turkish Embassy is considered inviolate “foreign soil.” The rules of diplomacy DON’T include chaos, mayhem and bodily injury even on your own country’s foreign mission soil! To Hell with diplomacy! Those Turkish bastards have definitely violated the basic laws of common decency and the rule of law in a land that is NOT theirs and does NOT condone attacks on innocent & peaceful protestors!

I am from Turkey originally and I am so happy that I live in the USA, the last hope of freedom in the world. As for Turkey, Turks deserves ” Sultan” Erdogan and the opposition to Erdogan is nothing but brainwashed liberals (like our clueless democrats”. Both opposition to Erdogan and Erdogan supporters believe that America and Irael are the cause of all problems in the world. They are all muslims although 90 percent of them would not have 1% of knowledge about Islam like an average JW reader (thanks to Robert)

Turks would not understand democracy and really since Ataturk could not handle somewhat democratic process since 1923. Turkish barbarians should never be allowed to bully others in American soil as they look at our tolerance as a GREAT WEAKNESS. Trust me.

Turkish government is not our friend. Erdogan is a power hungry, selfish megalomaniac. We should never allow them to be NATO partners and we should take our nuclear arsenal from Turkey immediately.

One good thing about Erdogan is that nobody likes him, Turkish or otherwise.

Hope Trump is getting the right info about Turkey and Turks and most importantly about Islam. Whish I am doubtful unfortunately.

    – Just imagine the absolute IMPUDENCE of these turks:

    – Going to a foreign country, on a foreign continent, and then beating up citizens of that country because they happen to belong to a ethnic group that is native to your home country, and that you despise, – just like you’re right at home.

    – If anything, it shows once more that Western civilized laws and regulations simply do not function when it comes to the islamites.

Here, they enjoy “diplomatic immunity” – and see how that works out.

    – In fact – new material has now been released that shows that it was probably Erdogan himself who gave the direct order from his car to his personnel to start to attack the protesters. He is also seen watching later on, next to his car.

    – Islamites cannot be treated like civilized people as they cannot behave as such.

They will only use our laws to trample on the West.

    They are a bloody disgrace.

    – And most of al: very, very dangerous.

    – Are the leftists of America already getting any of this?

Boy – this “incident” must have been really confusing to them ey.

    • Mockingjay says

      May 19, 2017 at 7:17 pm

      And something else:

      – All of this has pretty much been kept out of the media in Europe until today.

It was already all over the internet and I still hadn’t seen nothing on the news or in the papers here anywhere.
Think the msm in Germany still hasn’t reported on any of it.

      – Now why would that be one might ask?

“A local NBC television affiliate reported Erdoğan was inside the building at the time.”

That’s according to the Guardian. I think we know what to expect when the Guardian gets its “facts” via NBC.

In this instance, Erdogan definitely was NOT inside the building. He is seen getting out of the black Mercedes and watching his thugs in action.
