“’You tricked me in [Washington] DC! You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement [against Israel],’ Mr Trump is alleged to have shouted at the Palestinian leader, an outburst that was followed by several minutes of shocked silence.”
How good to see reality breaking through, even in uncomfortable ways.
“Israeli TV: ‘Trump shouted “You tricked me” at Abbas during meeting,’” by Bethan McKernan, Independent, May 29, 2017:
An Israeli television channel has claimed that US President Donald Trump shouted at Palestinian Authority (PA) Leader Mahmoud Abbas in talks held during Mr Trump’s visit to the West Bank last week.
“You tricked me in [Washington] DC! You talked there about your commitment to peace, but the Israelis showed me your involvement in incitement [against Israel],” Mr Trump is alleged to have shouted at the Palestinian leader, an outburst that was followed by several minutes of shocked silence, said Israel’s Channel 2, citing an unnamed American official.
The alleged quotes were reported in Hebrew, and then tweeted by reporter Udi Segal in English.
The PA has denied the report, saying that the 23 May meeting went well.
The Channel 2 report certainly does not match up with the warm words exchanged between the two leaders during a televised media conference after the private meeting in Bethlehem.
“Meeting you in the White House earlier this month given us hope… and optimism of the possibility to make the long-standing dream of lasting peace come true,” Mr Abbas said, emphasising the Palestinian leadership’s desire for a two-state solution.
Mr Trump and Mr Abbas met in person for the first time at the White House on 3 May, when the US president boldly stated his desire to do “whatever is necessary” to achieve a lasting peace deal in the decades-long Israeli-Palestinian conflict despite the failure of several previous US administrations.
In the meeting earlier this month Mr Trump’s administration called on the PA to do more to tackle violence against Israelis and end payments to the families of those killed or imprisoned by Israel.
The day before the alleged argument Mr Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Reuvin Rivlin in Jerusalem.
Speaking at Israel’s National Museum just before he left the region, Mr Trump said:
“I had a meeting this morning with [President] Abbas and can tell you that the Palestinians are ready to reach for peace,” before turning to gesture towards Mr Netanyahu, seated behind him.
“In my meeting with my very good friend Benjamin, I can tell you also, that he is reaching for peace. He wants peace,” the US President said….

I believe the depth of deceit is so deep in the Muslim world that they are incapable of a righteous conscious act. Are they addicted to conflict? Peace too good to believe?
Scott says
Fatah/PA and Hamas are nothing more than the first Jihadi’s to publicly proclaim so after the fall of the Ottoman Empire.
As such, “peace” is not anything they can even consider with “infidels”.
Trump may have just gotten a lesson, but I doubt he got the message.
If the “Palestinians” were interested in “peace” they would have put forth their own Statehood plan 50 years ago. They didn’t and haven’t because they have no interest in a “State” (They want to be part of the Uma and the Greater Caliphate).
I cannot imagine who is really advising Trump that wouldn’t know this by now.
No “Grand Bargain” will be made.
The only solution is along the lines of Martin Sherman/Caroline Glick/John Bolton.
Essentially, buy them out and escort them to the door.
DrSique says
All that I need to know about the Palestinians is that they danced in the streets on 9/11, while the Israelis wept. We should completely defund any assistance and let them rot in their own vile hatred. Our money is being used to create yet another generation of jihadist murderers.

Trump is showing the moral clarity needed.
JIhad has to go ‘out of style’ if the Arabs ever want peace even among themselves.
Not talking about their incitement doesn’t help anyone except the terrorists.

It’s refreshing to have a leader who isn’t completely bought and paid for. When Trump won I had my faith in the future of the US restored.

The Muslim understanding of peace hasn’t changed in 1400 years. Convert to Islam. pay jizya and live without any social rights or be murdered.
There, what’s difficult to understand about that??

Supposedly he had prior knowledge of the threat of islamic “extremism” as was shown in his campaign speeches.
Yet he is also capable of being “tricked” by a known muslim taqiyya professional.
Kudos that he has apparently seen through this facade.
Dangerous that he was stupid enough to believe it in the first place.

I completely agree with these sentiments. Trump has said he comes to this site and one would presume it was also to take in the concepts and opinions expressed here. Therefore, Trump, you shouldn’t have been “tricked” like a local neighbor that knows only what the news outlets tell them about Islam.
The fact that you placed McMasters on your inner circle council is like having hired Obama to give you advice on the Middle East, another point not in your favor.
Rather than continuing to follow in the footsteps of Obama, who once hired an actual comedian for one of his government positions, you should offer Spencer a position and send a message to CAIR as well as other tear down the house from within organizations.
The next time you reach for a piece of candy, President Trump, try to remember it’s probably similar to the candy these Palestinian barbarians handed out in celebration of 9/11.
Spend your time pressuring Jordan and Egypt to incentivize Palestinians to relocate to those nations and that will go along way to solving the problem (yes, the Huckabee solution). A lot of Palestinians originated from Jordan in the first place, so the arrow simply returns to the quiver.
Probably in the end only Hamas and other Jihad members would be the only ones to remain in the West Bank and Gaza out of sheer persistence.

Trump should have realized this long beforehand . However now that the learning curve should be over , we’ll see how the Administration deals with the lies of Hamas and the P.A. a.k.a. Fatah .

arafat bragged to his inner circle of henchmen that he lied to the Americans in order to gain, pretending that he wanted peace with Israel.

I daily crack up at the idiots in the press, Fox included, who spend most of their day with their pea-brains in overdrive, wondering aloud when-oh-when, Pres. Trump will become “more presidential”…
Newsflash fools: We-the-people elected this man because he is not, in any way, a politician. But he’s more presidential than anyone since Reagan. Just ask: Iran, N. Korea, China, Mexico, the Supreme Court…
See where I’m going here?

Yep.
You don’t make deals.
You keep well away from them, and fortify the boundary.
If they cross the boundary to attack you, you *hammer the bastards* flat. If they cry ‘uncle’ and propose a peace deal (= hudna/ truce ‘treaty’), you hammer them *some more* (unless, and only unless, you yourself think it might be useful to have a bit of a timeout; so you hammer a bit more, then take a break, but all the while you keep alert, because odds are very good the mohammedans will breach the ‘truce’ the moment they think they might be able to get away with it).

Well, this is something Trump should have known.
But his righteous anger here is nonetheless an excellent sign. Kudos to him, and here’s hoping he won’t be fooled again!

And not many of the general public are saying about immigration “you tricked me” like with sexual emergencies and the cost of social welfare etc.
Many are still convinced and being fooled.
Trump may perhaps be able to show how he was fooled, and lead others to think more about what went wrong.
Well it will all be pinned up for historians now to see what happened, and what they make of it.?

I hope it *does* lead others to think.

As President he gave all the benefit of the doubt. NO adviser gave him bad advice. They were innocent as they claimed.
Yes, he took them at their word, and a clean slate, even if he seemed naive.
So now he is holding them to their word. The more they wriggle, then they are hoisted on their own petards.
It is now on his “watch” that they are indicted.
It will be more difficult for Jordanians/Egyptians to point to wrongdoings in the past.
It was to be from this present, to the immediate future for peace to be established, and it was dashed as always by Jordanians/Egyptians refugees.
It would seem that gives Trump the high ground, now.
It will be come more apparent to all, that Jordanians/Egyptians are the ones that stuffed the deal up, plus any one that supports the mess of Jordanians/Egyptians (sacrificial refugees) can be more questioned about their involvement, like the EU.
There is a whole wider world wide public to turn, that is actively involved like the Boycott/Divestment/Sanctions.
The only thing Trump has to learn about is ‘hudna’, so that he is not taking in by a false peace of a few years.
Even now he will have some 2nd thoughts if it will be an everlasting peace, even if he pressures things up and appears to succeed.
Agreements no matter how water tight, at the end of the day are only as good as the people who sign them.
Can he be like Solomon, when the woman who stole the baby, was ok with splitting it in half? and the real mother, then disclaimed the baby to save its life.
I have my doubts about Trump, then in real life Solomon made his stuff ups too.
There is a lot at play, not just Israel and refugees.
It ultimately is about islam.

Good for Trump it’s about time someone with a backbone called out the lying piece of garbage.

I hope this signals that President Trump is now finished with the “Ice Breaking” pleasantries and cordial introductions. Moslems are “LIARS”. That is what they do, and it tarnishes everything you read, or hear them say. They will tell you the truth “ONLY” when they think it is mutually beneficial to both sides (in other more practical words: NEVER).

The purported Trump-Abbas shouting match never happened
DEBKAfile May 29, 2017, 6:00 PM (IDT)
DEBKAfile’s sources affrmed Monday that the widely-reported shouting match in Bethlehem between President Donald Trump and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, at which the US President purportedly accused Abbas of deceit – never happened. The false story was put out by sources intent on derailing Trump’s Middle East diplomatic initiatives.

Come on, unless Pres. Trump has been living in a cave, he is and at least should have been aware of the lies and lying propaganda of Abbas and his PA. As the song and Trump’s video say, he knew he was a snake from the get go. Still, this is good news and a good story for others who may need to wake up. I stand with Pres. Trump and with Israel and against all the fascist hatred we are encountering at the moment.
UNCLE VLADDI says
I guess Jared Kushner still hasn’t bothered to tell Trump that THERE IS NO PALESTINE – NEVER WAS, AND NEVER WILL BE one – so how exactly is Trump supposed to broker a two-state peace plan deal?!

There will not be a Jewish state that gives the Jews all of Jerusalem and the entire temple. The satanic mosque on the Temple Mount is a testament to divine providence that condemns both Jews and Muslims.
“Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” The Jews said, “This temple has been under construction for forty-six years, and you will raise it up in three days?” But he was speaking about the temple of his body.”
Jesus is the new Temple and the Jewish temple of the Old Testament was destroyed by the Romans AD70 and has yet to be rebuilt.
Flavius Claudius Julianus (Julian the Apostate) 330 -363 tried to rebuild the Jewish Temple to prove Jesus’ prophecy wrong. Many historical accounts attest to God’s Devine prophecy.
