Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Turkey accused of cracking down on critics abroad

May 16, 2017 8:40 am By Christine Douglass-Williams

The New York Times reported that Gulenists have been hunted and in hiding as a result of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s aggressive campaign against them, despite their insistence that they are not involved in plotting against him and the implausibility of the charges themselves. Erdogan is now reportedly expanding his jihadist thuggery and reach, as his AKP Party is said to be using tactics similar to those of the Islamic Republic of Iran to silence his critics abroad. All the while, Western authorities remain passive in the face of this increasing aggression from jihadists of all sides.

“Report: Turkey adopts extrajudicial tactics to crack down on critics abroad”, Turkish Minute (thanks to The Religion of Peace), May 14, 2017:

A new report by the Stockholm Center for Freedom (SCF) shows that Turkey’s Justice and Development Party (AKP) government has adopted a thuggish new tactic in persecuting its critics and opponents abroad by orchestrating abductions, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial renditions in addition to the profiling and harassment of Turkish expatriates by government institutions and clandestine groups.

The report, which was released by SCF on Saturday, was drawn from a case study on Malaysia where three Turkish citizens who are followers of faith-based Gülen movement, which is accused by Turkey of being behind a failed coup last summer, were detained and handed over to Turkish authorities over their alleged ties to the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

“The Malaysian example showed how Turkish President [Recep Tayyip] Erdoğan can drag other leaders in his crime syndicate that trumps international human rights law. Corrupt and authoritarian regimes appear to be aiding and abetting Erdoğan’s posse in his illegal manhunt in exchange for political deals and economic incentives,” said SCF President Abdullah Bozkurt in the report.

According to Bozkurt, these three people who were turned over to Turkey on false charges will be subjected to torture, abuse and inhuman treatment for simply belonging to the Gülen movement. “[The] Malaysian government will be held accountable for enabling Erdoğan’s crimes against humanity in the future,” he added.

“Although critics from all walks of life including Kurds and Alevis were targeted in general in this stigmatizing effort by the Turkish government, members of [a] civic group called the Hizmet (Gülen) movement, which is inspired by US-based Turkish Muslim cleric Fethullah Gülen, have borne the brunt of this major campaign of witch-hunt,” the report said.

According to earlier reports by SCF, Turkish embassies, government agencies including intelligence services and nongovernmental organizations affiliated with the AKP government have all been involved in the profiling and harassment of members of the Gülen movement.

The report also said the Malaysian example represents an extreme case where law-abiding and peaceful people who participated in Gülen’s advocacy of interfaith dialogue efforts were unlawfully detained and abused before being extradited to Turkey.

Erdogan has reason to be afraid. He has real enemies. And he is creating more every day. He will come to a violent end when his enemies organize and they will.

Watch Erdogan’s thug bodyguards forget they are in the US (May 16, 2017) and attack the verbal protestors across the street from Turkey’s US Embassy. Even worse, they kick a downed woman!

Their flash temper and Islamic disrespect for US secular law is on full display. The police should have jailed Erdogan’s thugs, but can’t, so they get away with it.

How long will it be before Turkey starts abducting our citizens for being in-Islamic?

That may not be too long. See that that his secret police are beating up the opposition in Washington. What next? Will Peter Sellars invade New York?

So on one hand we have Erdogan and Islam and on the other hand, we have Fethullah Gulen and Islam. Let’s be real here. The Gulenists are not our allies or friends simply because Erdogan is out for their heads. The Gulen movement is remarkably conservative even for Islam. Its just window dressing for more of the same. If it looks like Islam, sounds like Islam, smells like Islam, and says it IS Islam – then surprise surprise – it is Islam.

I do not agree with, nor like the idea of Erdogan’s reach carrying so far, but Islam is Islam is Islam. They are all as bad as each other and it is a gross mistake for anyone to assume that simply because Erdogan is complete scum and is madly hunting them; that the Gulenists or their movement are something we should support or try to ally with.

Turkey was only ever considered ‘democratic’ under Erdogan’s rule, due to Leftism and its utter bushwah about ‘all cultures being equal’. Turkey has been a hellhole for a long time, in comparison with the civilized world and the West. The Turk’s merrily voted Erdogan’s new dictatorship into being, this wasn’t slyly advanced upon them.

The Turk’s made their bed, now its time to lie in it. If the rest of the world has half a brain, we will deny entry, communication and trade with any and all Turkish people, groups and businesses. Somehow, I doubt this will happen. In fact, I’m just waiting for the EU announcement of Turkish free movement to begin.

So whats to be done, you know there will be no trade , deny entry ,communication blackout. Are you saying we should hand over the Gulenist because Erdogan ask us and there are bad people? What will be next demand hand over people in the west for cartoons of him or the Mohamand ? Turkey is at the cross roads of Europe Asian and the Middle East , it is not like North Korea on some strip of land bordering the ocean and China. The EU and the leftish movement in the West has created this Frankenstein monster by letting in mass immigration , and by the leaders of the West accepting mass amount of money from Islamic terror factory nations like the United Arab Republics. They the turn out terrorist with there funding of hate fill mosques around the world like Ford turning out model T in the 1920s. It will Not stop until big money behind this funding is stopped , hold our own leaders to the task to clean up the mess we let happen ,or we can sail on the trip plan for us, to fad into a state of Dhimmitude. Pull our missiles out of Turkey, kick Turkey out of the EU and Nato , stop all this uncontrolled immigration into Europe .
