Modern, moderate Malaysia, that is. This is actually a sly rebuke of the Islamic law requiring women to cover their hair. If it actually aired in Malaysia, it constitutes a clever and muted indication of opposition to that country’s move toward stricter enforcement of Sharia rules.
mortimer says
How does a woman shampoo her hair with a HAT on???
She’d better do if she’s Muslim, if she knows what’s good for her.
This commercial tells women they are damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
ISLAM IS ABSURD. They can’t have a commercial in which a woman washes her hair. Sharia law is totally absurd, misogynistic, patriarchal and stuck in the 7th century.
How long before Muslim women rebel. The vote is in their hands.
abad says
Moslems don’t bathe nor wash their hair. Deodorant is forbidden yet their Quran still dictates they remove armpit hair and of course pubic hair – and that is both genders.

Mortimer, most Muslim women support Islam–despite being so oppressed.

Because they will be killed if they dont

Actually the video is tongue-in-cheek.

Laura says
As Robert has said this is a ‘sly rebuke of islamic law.’
Anne says
Muslim women raise the sons that perpetuate the treatment of women.
Jeanette says
EXCELLENT POINT!
Of course, if they didn’t push the Islamic line, their husbands could probably legally murder them.

headbag & shoulders
blitz2b says
Nice one….
Keep dandruff and head lice in…
Insanity is Islam.
What next? Showering with your burkah commercial?
Laura says
Well, they go in the sea in their pyjamas, don’t they?
gravenimage says
Brilliant. Georg.
Georg says
I can’t take credit, saw it elsewhere but wanted to pass it on.
AleX says
I wouldn’t want to see what’s underneath the veil.
The greatest deterrent would be exactly this kind of hair washing.
Now I understand why mohomedan men tend to look around for goats.
Jeanette says
Many Muslim men are nasty and rank.
That’s why you hear and see non-Muslims complaining about the “stink” so often.
Jeanette says
They probably don’t wash after being with a goat, either, so that odor gets added to the rest of their smell.
South East Asian Kafir says
It’s a parody ads. http://www.worldofbuzz.com/malaysian-ad-showing-woman-hijab-gets-ridiculed-heres-truth/
gravenimage says
I think this parody makes an excellent point.
scherado says
With respect to the picture, what good is the covering of the hair if her exposed face arouses someone sexually?
No, that’s not sarcasm.
PJG says
Young Muslim women tend to wear extra lashings of make-up to counter the “loss” of beauty that is their hair, covered with lust-killing hijab.
Then they wear pretty hijabs…
So the effect can be pretty damned attractive!
Clair Reading says
Really bad when we can’t spot a parody. How about ‘Bowling with Infidel’s Heads” Laugh today , cry tomorrow.
gravenimage says
Islam parodies itself.
Here are some nice Muslim lads playing soccer with the severed heads of their enemies–and no, it is *not* a parody:

I think in Malaya anything is possible.
Just thunk back- a few years ago, with a war raging in the Ukraine between the Ukraine and Russia, a Malayan Airline, to save a few hours, (if i remember correctly, like 2 hours) flew right over an area where there was fighting.
the plane was hit by fire, all killed.
This was in addition to the Malayan Airliner that went down-apparently in the Philippines, on the way to China. And, again, if I remember correctly, the airline did well, by the two planes going down-collecting on insurance. (Although that might have been a satiric comment or based on reality).
I think the entire country is screwed up.
abad says
Soap and water are banned in Islam – correct? At least not for use on the body.
Might explain why they use their bare left hand to wipe after answering nature’s call.
Makes quite a breeding ground for all types of disease which I suspect affects their minds. Islam is after all a mental illness doncha know. Their so-called concept of “cleanliness” is nowhere near the real thing.
Jeanette says
What is left after Muslim female mutilation breeds disease like nothing else.
See Ann Barnhardt’s video “Islamic Sexuality” – the section on Muslim mutilation begins at about 25:00.

to see how a mob of Muslim men in Malaysia attack a non-Muslim man and his partner immediately after Friday prayers on 5 May 2017. The non-Muslim man had honked repeatedly outside a mosque during prayer time because his car was blocked by vehicles parked on both sides of the road. Only Muslims are allowed to completely block public roads in Malaysia during prayer time and no one has the right to disturb them until they finish their prayers. The authorities claim that they arrested 4 of the attackers and released them on bail, but this of course is hogwash. They probably rewarded the 4 for teaching the non-Muslims a lesson on how to behave in a Muslim nation.Incidents of this kind or even worse kinds are what I am afraid will be commonplace in the West if the West continue to be complacent in dealing with the evil Islamic agenda.
Godwin says
Mob justice was meted on the man n his car. The man got a bloody head n his car was badly smashed. Is Malaysia going down the road of intolerance n extremism. The answer is clear. Is it also going down the road of a failed state ?

In India there is a popular saying that Muslims bathe from Ramadhan to Ramadhan.
Now with Hijab & Shoulders this trend could change.
Matthieu Baudin says
This deserves a chuckle. There are plenty of Ethnic Malay Malaysians, including many in political life, who hope to buy time and escape the noose of harsh Sharia compliance afflicting so much of the wider Islamic World. Paying lip service to foreigners advocating a hard line is one strategy; subtly holding up ‘practices’ to ridicule is another. And there’s nothing to stop the Ethnic Indians and Chinese from privately sharing in the mirth as well.
