Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Iran: If Trump “does anything unwise against Iran…it is Trump who will be deposed”

Jun 21, 2017 4:56 pm By Robert Spencer

Leftists everywhere rooting for Iran on this one.

“Iran Threatens to ‘Depose’ Trump as Military Readies Missile Strikes on U.S. Forces,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, June 21, 2017:

A senior Iranian leader and confidant of the Islamic Republic’s president is threatening to “depose” President Donald Trump if he continues his policy of confronting Iran and its terror proxy groups in the Middle East, according to recent comments that come as Iranian military leaders threaten missile strikes on U.S. forces and bases in the region.

Mostafa Tajzadeh, a leading Iranian politician and ally to President Hassan Rouhani, claimed this week that the Trump administration is too “fragile” to confront Iran and that if U.S. officials do “anything unwise against Iran,” the Islamic Republic will see that Trump is “deposed,” according to Farsi-language comments independently translated for the Washington Free Beacon….

Iranian forces and militants affiliated with Hezbollah, which is backed by Tehran, have launched several strikes on U.S.-backed forces in Syria in recent weeks, amplifying a growing proxy war between the United States and Iran that threatens to ignite the larger region….

Tajzadeh appeared to up the stakes in a tweet endorsing efforts to see Trump thrown out of office.

“Trump’s presidency is so fragile that if he does anything unwise against Iran, if we react smartly, instead of the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is Trump who will be deposed,” the Iranian official tweeted, according to a translation of his remarks….

Senior Iranian officials tied to its Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, or IRGC, also are seeking confrontation, and have warned that the recent missile strikes in Syria were meant as a message to the United States and Israel.

“This reaction has a clear message for the American enemies and certain regional states that think that if they attack Iran, their aggression will remain unanswered,” Yahya Rahim Safavi, a top military aide to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was quoted as saying on Wednesday in the country’s state-controlled press….

I am old enough to remember when LIBERALS WERE LIBERAL AND NOT AMERICA HATING COMMUNISTS AND FELLOW TRAVELERS.

WHEN FOREIGN POLICY DIFFERENCES ENDED AT THE SHORES.

I think it would be wise if the asshole liberals look at the 2016 election results and the 2017 special elections.

IN 2016–( AS PER GOOGLE) THERE ARE 3,144 COUNTIES- AND TRUMP GOT A PLURALITY OR MAJORITY OF 3,084–97% –(APPROXIMATELY). IN 2017–REPUBLICANS WON EVERY SPECIAL ELECTION. In yesterday’s GA election- the Dems spent some ( counting the primary) somewhere north of $43 million. AND THEY STILL LOST.

(Note, in 2016, Hillary Clinton got about the same % of votes as this candidate-in the primary-he got about 1% or so more than Clinton; now-I think he got less votes than in the primary and less than Clinton).

As to leftists in Europe and elsewhere- who cares? Their countries are sinking fast.

    And as to Iran:

THEY HAVE THREE VASSAL COUNTRIES: SYRIA; LEBANON AND VENEZUELA.

    OIL PRICES ARE SINKING.

They can keep up their rhetoric-talk is cheap- but they don’t have Obama to give them billions in cash.

So, will they collapse soon? I hope so.

They have proven that ISIS can get into their closed society.

And, I would love to see ISIS and/or Al Queida get into Iran and do more terrorists bombings there.

(And in Lebanon and Syria-against the Shits, and Hezbollah supporters).

(And, if ISIS killed some lefties in the US & Europe, no great loss, either).

We may be of the same generation, I’m long-in-the-tooth and recall when girls were girls and men were men. I, not unlike you, recall when liberals were liberals but unlike today, anti-American, Marxist wannabes who are overtly subversive. The so-called Democrats are as much a threat to this nation as ISIS or other enemies of the state. Not to mention the so-called liberal progressives and the MSM. I enjoyed your post. There are moments when my better half thinks I’m talking to myself. The truth is, I am cussing some imbecilic lowlife whether it is a Democrat or come political pundit spewing lies and fake news regarding our President. They licked the boots and likely, other parts of our former president as if he were a deity. I enjoyed you post, Terry.

They sure like to boast and brag, whine and lie and cry.

Meanwhile, there is a news article saying isis blew up the barracks where their leader bag daddy, or some such named guy, gave his *leader of all moslums* speech in 2014.

It is said to be a “crime” because the barracks was historic. One less barracks to prey in.

      Jun 22, 2017 at 12:08 pm

NO! Iranians remember their Persian heritage, they are NOT Arabs & the mullahs are hated by the majority. A way must be found to destroy their nuclear facilities SOON without killing millions of civilians & it will not be easy.

Trump has played Saudi Barbaria’s [read- the Saudi ‘Royals’] fears of Iran shrewdly & it looks increasingly that a very unlikely alliance of USA, Saudi and…. ISRAEL!! is coming to fruition.
Israel would need permission [overt or otherwise] from the other two to hit Arak, Fordow, Isfahan, Natanz, Bushehr & probably Parchin, plus much assistance from USA due to the strength of Iranian air defences & number of hardened sites needing multiple strikes.

Truth is, 8 years of Obama ‘red lines’ [plus those before him] and inaction has allowed Iran to build this monstrous threat, just as in N Korea to where nuclear tactical weapons might be the only solution. Then, Russia supports both Iran and its proxies in Syria, Lebanon & elsewhere.

We are in for a rough ride.

I do not underestimate Iran’s depravity or capability,

What is more obnoxious is that if they strike the USA, our own President Obama and his Democrat Junta gave Iran a billion dollars in untraceable cash to finance the attack.

  7. Monty says

    Jun 21, 2017 at 7:35 pm

Part of this tragedy is that the average Iranian is nowhere near as hostile to the USA or the West as the would-be’s in power. Iranians are not Arabs and Islam not as deeply ingrained as, for example, Saudi Arabia. The ruling elites see an opportunity to topple Saudi Arabia as the leader of the Muslim world. The USA backs Saudi Arabia, perhaps hoping that they can keep Iran in check. It would be wonderful if the Iranian people could remove the ruling elites but that is unlikely. The rulers have the power and the weapons to control.

    • Mark Swan says

      Jun 22, 2017 at 6:26 pm

      Monty I agree.

Maybe, just, maybe, Iran will find itself in a protracted war, if so, maybe these people can get loose.

    • Terry says

      Jun 25, 2017 at 12:03 pm

And within the last week or so, there was at least one large ANTI US rally with ( what I read) tens of thousands of people screaming DEATH TO AMERICA, DEATH TO ISRAEL.

I beleive it was in one of the Israeli blogs or newsletters.

In my view, if ISIS & Al Qeida do more terrorist attacks in Lebanon (on Hezbollah villages and towns) and Iran, and kill a lot of these people and get killed doing so, I think that would be a great big plus for the world and for peace.

That no longer looks the case with mounting lunacy from the Dumbocrats and their loss of face in the most expensive election in Georgia.

The Georgia election seems to have endorsed Pres. Trump very solidly.

The mullahocracy is hated by 99% of Iranians. It’s time for them to be DEPOSED!

    • Westman says

      Jun 22, 2017 at 10:42 am

Some of us are old enough to remember Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon and the Viet Nam War.

“Weak” Presidents have the full power of the US military and disrupters like UC Berkeley would likely be the next Kent State if a real war broke out with Iran. Ironically it was Nixon, whose goal was to end the war, who was “deposed” because of Watergate. Regardless of “student” protests, Johnson could have overseen that war for two full terms and wisely decided someone else, Nixon, could take the flack for the second.

For Iranian leaders and military to make such recent threatening noise, the Iranian clergy must be genuinely frightened that they are in a precarious position of losing control of the brighter segments of the Iranian population. Add to that another 85% of the world’s Muslims, who are Iran’s religious enemies, and it’s not paranoia when the world wants your turret-capped toilet-bowl-brush face buried in the sand – it’s real.

Iran must throw off these clerics or ultimately become another Iraq. The idea that Americans would “depose” any POTUS in a war with Iran is pure delusion. Unlike Iran, immature, extended-adolescent, “students” are not permitted to overthrow the US government by force. We have real elections.

Yes, Iran clerics, be paranoid, very paranoid.

  9. Carolyne says

    Jun 22, 2017 at 12:06 pm

Funny thing. Imams in control of Iran can be deposed much more easily than an American President. In fact, it is a great idea to depose them.

Caroline, you mean as your armed robber united states have been doing to amass wealths belonging to other nations? Time is off now judging from your failure to steal from Iraq and youc incurred irrecoverable losses.will you attempt the same stupidity now?

      • Carolyne says

        Jun 22, 2017 at 8:08 pm

No, I didn’t mean that at all because it isn’t true and you, as a Muslim, must lie as a matter of religion. You are a gnat as far as I am concerned.

The problem is not that the US is stealing anything, we don’t do that. The problem is Muslims who are known to be thieves as commanded by their prophet (May pig shit be upon him.) Muslims have never contributed anything to society, not even their own society. They, and you, are the result of centuries of incest between your parents and as a result the low mentality which you demonstrate every day.

  10. Carolyne says

    Jun 22, 2017 at 7:56 pm

Jimmy Carter’s treatment of the Shah of Iran is one of the most shameful acts ever carried out by the US. Not too long before the Shah left, Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter were guests at a celebration of Iran’s long history and the reign of Cyrus the Great. At that time Carter told the Shah that he backed him 1000%. Shortly thereafter, Carter convinced the Shah to leave “Temporarily and that he could return as Shah when things settled down, i.e. the street demonstrations, etc. Once the Shah was gone, Carter arranged for the Ayatollah Khomeini to return from Paris where he had been in Exile. He took over the country with great bloodshed. I remember one government spokesman, can’t recall his name, who had been educated in the US saying “I’m a nice guy.” However a day or two later, he was executed as a traitor. And the diplomats at the Embassy were imprisoned, completely against international law and custom and held for more than a year. Carter refused to let the Shah come to the US and he lived in exile in Panama until he developed severe cancer. Carter refused him entry to be treated at Sloan-Kettering but Henry Kissinger intervened and he was allowed to go to New York for treatment, but must leave immediately afterward. He ended his life in exile in Egypt, having been taken in by Sadat.
Jimmy Carter is the second worst President in the history of the country and a man of no integrity.

The Saudi royal family and the Wahhabi doctrine they spread is just as bad as the mullahs in Iran in my opinion. An Irani whom I know recently told me that the people of Iran are nice, but the government is bad. The interest of the USA should come first here.
