Not only have jihadis perpetrated this horror in Jerusalem, but now they will celebrate this murder.
“Border Policewoman murdered in Jerusalem terror attack,” by Elad Benari, Arutz Sheva, June 16, 2017:
Hadas Malka, a 23-year-old Border Police officer, was murdered in a combined shooting and stabbing attack in Jerusalem’s Old City on Friday evening.
Four other people were wounded, among them two moderately and one lightly.
The attack took place around 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening, when two terrorists armed with knives and rifles attacked people at Zedekiah’s Cave. They were neutralized by security forces.
A third terrorist stabbed Malka, who was stationed at the Damascus Gate. He, too, was neutralized by security forces.
Malka, who suffered critical injuries, was evacuated to the Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital, where she later succumbed to her wounds.
The other victims were taken to the Shaarei Tzedek Hospital.
The area of the Damascus Gate has been repeatedly targeted by terrorists. Last month, a knife-wielding female Arab terrorist attacked officers who were deployed at the Damascus Gate.
Officers responded quickly to the attempted stabbing attack, neutralizing the terrorist before she was able to reach her intended target….

Perhaps, because that post was known to be dangerous, that particular officer, at her age, should not have been assigned that particular assignment?????

Blame the victim of jihad. Nice.

Perhaps but nevertheless she served her country and paid the ultimate price!! Sad beyond words. God be with her and her family!!

Agreed, David.

It is so sad to lose an Israeli person .Al l the Muslims should be expelled to Gaza strip or Jordan. You can neither live beside or with the SNAKES CALLED MUSLIM. I grieve for the poor girl and her family .No words can comfort them.

All the posts are dangerous… Jihad makes all that defensive work, dangerous.

I thought Israel had built enough walls to separate men n beasts.
Noor al-Amriki says
Perhaps, just perhaps, you should blame the jihadist, not the victim. Ass.
Kathy Brown, Esq. says
No one is “blaming the victim” Noor. Thus you are the “ass”.
Some post’ers here are appropriately calling out the idiocy of putting women in positions where strength and the ability to threaten, are essential. None of them are castigating her, God rest her sweet soul…
This beautiful young woman should never have been in just that kind of a position. I’m old enough to remember when the clowns in my hometown, NYC, put women in the Fire Dept. (late 70’s, early 80’s), Deaths immediately skyrocketed: But not the deaths of the women. No: It was the male firefighters who died, protecting their “partners”.
Likewise women in the military and on foot patrol in police departments. 99.9% of violent attacks are perpetrated by men. Those felons think it’s Christmas morning and winning the lottery all rolled into one, when they see a woman on patrol.
Your name means “light” Noor. Try standing in some.
Steve Klein says
Meanwhile President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu are hankering to forge a ‘peace’ agreement with this murderous “people.”
mgoldberg says
No, actually the world, the entire rest of the world is demanding that they do. So they have to walk a fine line.
Steve Klein says
Walk a fine line? You mean like the fine line Churchill walked with the German chancellor even as the whole world was demanding / seeking an accommodation in order to avert war?
‘Later, after the Nazis had seized power, Fritz Hesse, the press attaché in Germany’s London embassy, called on Winston to sound him out again. Churchill told him, with Hitler in power there was only one solution to the “German problem”—“ If a dog makes a dash for my trousers, I shoot him down before he can bite.” ‘
DrSique says
I am thinking “talk a fine line” while pushing MOABs out the backs of C130s.
Carpediadem says
Not Bibi. Everyone else. To show how “fair” they are all the while blathering about terrorism.
Voytek Gagalka says
If Israeli authorities would have any guts, they would use this “incident” as good pretext to ban all Mohammedans from Jerusalem once and for all, including permanent taking over the Temple Mount and the vicinity from “Waqf.” But they don’t. Subsequently, more similar horrors of jihad await them in the future.
WBSM says
23 yrs is perfect age to serve one’s country in the armed forces… almost everyone has to do military service in Israel. Every post is dangerous there. They have been dealing with this for quite a while now. And they do it quite professionally.
May G-d give eternal light to Malka and consolation to the family.
Steve Klein says
Where are President Trump and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson who can assure us the “Palestinians” really want peace?
Walter Sieruk says
Such awful brutal cruel murderous violence is sanctioned in the “holy book” of Islam the Koran. Which instructs in violence and killing for the cause of Islam. As found in, for example, 4: 89. 5:33. 9:5,111,123. 47:4. In other words the Koran inspires and causes such hideous violence. Furthermore, another role the Koran has in such deadly Islamic terror attacks in the Jewish nation of Israel is that the Koran contains many negative about the Jewish people. The reason that the Koran reads as it does have much to do with the history of the founder and prophet of Islam, who is Muhammad. This is for a specific time period of his life Muhammad lived among many Jewish people and he liked them at first. Later then they would not accept his claim of being of prophet, Muhammad then took is dislike to them that then turned into bitterness and even hate for them. So in the hate and bitterness he spoke many derogatory things about the as even referring to them as “apes and swine.” Such word of bitterness and hate, along with other thing he said, where written down on things and then later after his death those words were together together and then eventually, in time went in the composition of the Koran. Therefore, that why the Koran reads and in does about the Jewish people, as in calling them descendants of “apes and swine.” As seen in the Koran in 2:65; 7:166.; 5:60. Furthermore, as a Christian I can keyboard that there is a chance the Muhammad actually might had been a prophet but the important thing to understand is that Muhammad was NOT a prophet send by God. Instead, Muhammad was a deceptive, lying false prophet send by Satan to lead many people astray and even and straight into hell. Jesus, in fact, had predicted and warned of the coming of such men as Muhammad. For Jesus taught “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15. In addition, the Bible further warns that “many false prophets are gone out into the world.” First John 4:1. [K.J.V.]

Yes, they will–bloody barbarians.
My thoughts are with the family and loved ones of the victims.
Wellington says
Bloody barbarians indeed, gravenimage, and this bloody barbarism begins with the reputed founder of Islam whom no one of sense and knowledge should admire or pay tribute to. All who do are at least ignorant. Many who do are far worse than just ignorant. No one who does can possibly be good, wise and informed.

Yes sir. This is the truth we must keep telling our neighbors despite the blank stares and foolish denials. We must keep on telling them and preparing for the unwanted, dishonorable war that we must fight.
The Lord comfort this young woman’s family. Such grief…

I was under the impression that once a person enters inside a certain distance from an officer…police or military… it was automatic to fire on an aggressor who will not obey a halt order. This might prevent the one with a knife getting close enough to stab, and anyone with a gun, would be stopped sooner.
Hope her family can find some peace and solace and comfort from God.

Georg says
It defies belief that someone so apparently full of life was forced into crossing paths with such depravity and viciousness. How can this even be…
Aussie Infidel says
Georg,
The answer is simply that the perpetrator was a deeply indoctrinated Muslim psychopath following the dictates of his warlord prophet, who commanded his followers to hate disbelievers to the extent that they would kill them. The additional ‘carrot on the stick’ for young Muslim men, is the promise of Paradise (and all those virgins) for those who become jihadis. Most people do not understand the power of religious indoctrination to determine people’s attitudes and beliefs. And in the case of devout psychopaths (about 1% of the community), even incite them to commit violence in the name of their faith. Which is one reason I’m an atheist.
WPM says
Islam is the only one that is very large that has it in all there books that this is acceptable behavior. Stalin was an atheist, that did not stop him from killing millions. Being an atheist does not make you a good or bad person. The trouble with Islam is the true believes of faith {much much larger then 1 percent} believe this is acceptable . Even if they are not doing the bombing or shooting they think its the right thing to do. They will not public voice any opposition to it and often try to blame the victims of the violent act. You can site Christians ,Jews , Buddhist doing violent acts ,but none of them are pointing to their Holy books to justify the acts. You do not have people shouting in the name of Christ I do this as they stab you to death . People driving over people saying I do this for love of Moses . By stating you are better then Christians,Jews ,and other believes you are falling for the progressive trap. The progressive believe there politics is there faith, like Nazis they can get violent over it. You can be an atheist be a good citizen live in peace, be loved by good people, you cannot be a true believer of Islam or a true Nazi and be a good person.
Michael Ray says
Thank you for making clear distinctions. So much fuzzy, emotional non-thinking going on.
Aussie Infidel says
WPM, Agreed that all the Islamic scriptures command violence against infidels.
Stalin didn’t kill people because he was an atheist, but because he was a militant psychopathic communist who wanted to control the world. A similar argument could also be made for Nazis and Fascists like Hitler, Mussolini, Mao and Pol Pot etc.
Of course being an atheist doesn’t make you “a good or bad person.” But the same could be said for religion. When I was a young man, I was persecuted by many religious fanatics, simply because I did not believe in a God. I have no belief in the supernatural, firstly because there is no evidence for it. Furthermore, religion flies in the face of science, contradicting the most well established theories. The very word ‘supernatural’ is an oxymoron, meaning ‘above or beyond nature’ – ie outside the known universe. Therefore the only ‘knowledge’ we could have about such hypothetical entities must be a product of our own imagination.
Throughout my life, I’ve known hundreds of Muslims. I would estimate that the number of ‘true believers’ is around 70-80% of the population (depending on the country). About 5-10% are ‘moderates’ or ex-Muslims (secretly), and 10-20% are militants. But of the latter group, only about 1% or so are the psychopaths who commit the actual violence. And yes, the majority “believe it is acceptable”, and do nothing to stop the militants. But fear of retaliation (for apostasy) is a big factor in this.
While there might be a lot of violent verses in the Bible, you are right that they do not command Christians and Jews to commit acts of violence against ‘unbelievers’; and Christian and Jewish clerics do not incite their followers to do so. Buddhists (particularly in Myanmar) have committed violent acts against the local Rohingyas, but this is in retaliation for past attacks by the Rohingyas against the Buddhists.
I didn’t say that “I was better than Christians, Jews and other believers.” I simply said that I was an atheist – and I have been for over 70 years. And that’s simply because the whole concept of religion – all religion – is a fallacy born of the ancients’ fantasies and fears. I’ve been an astronomer for most of my life, and nothing in the universe compells me to believe that there is any supernatural being, or that any such agency is necessary to explain the thousands of observable phenomena – with the exception of the ‘Big Bang’ itself. Of course, devoutly religious people will immediately say, “It could have only been caused by God!” But my reply would be that we still don’t know enough about the universe to reach any definite conclusion about what happened – and we might never know. A hundred years ago, we didn’t even know the extent of our own solar system, or that galaxies existed, but we’ve come a long way since then. But I can live with that uncertainty, although many people demand the certainty that only comes with simplistic religious explanations. And of course ‘sinners’ are told that they will be ‘saved’ from a life in hell – just like the Muslims. But despite all this nonsense, I believe in freedom of religion. I don’t care what people believe, as long as they are not forcing their beliefs on others and killing unbelievers – which of course is what Islam most certainly does.
You needn’t worry about me “falling for any progressive trap.” I came from the Left and was involved in leftist politics for over 20 years – I even sat on some of their policy committees for more years than I now care to remember. I know only too well how socialists think, and why. I would agree that for most dedicated leftists, “their politics is their faith.” As you say, they certainly “can get violent over it.” That has been amply demonstrated by the recent shootings in Washington by a deranged Leftist following the suggestions to kill Republicans, from Communists and Muslims in the Democrats, and leftist media commentators.
But therein lies one of the world’s great problems. Religion and politics are both ’emotional ideologies’. They deal with subjective personal beliefs, for which there are no real proofs – only preferences. And they are determined by one’s cultural values and attitudes to many issues in life. In Western nations, our Constitutions demand secular government or maintaining a separation of religion and state, because of all the religious wars and conflicts which ravaged Europe for centuries. However, Islam is a toxic mix of religion and politics which produces an even more militant ideology.
On the question of being a ‘good Muslim’, the only truly good ones I’ve known, have been ex-Muslims.
WPM says
To Aussie Infidel
I am glad we both agree, I have no hate towards you for not believing in God one should worship or not as one wants. The trouble with Islam is they have no room in their religion for this if practice as in Koran, Hadith and especial Sharia law. Thanks for replying may you go in peace and knowledge.
Elaine says
Faith is a personal choice. Every person should search their own heart and decide what “they” believe. Everyone must realize how many different religions there are in the world, and each religion believes they are the “one” and only true religion. Logic will tell you they cannot all be right. It boils down to culture. Where you’re born, what you’re taught is ingrained in you. You believe what you believe because that’s what you know. What your parents believe. People must stop and think for themselves and not blindly believe what others “tell” them is the truth. In my mind, there is a creator. There must be. The way to find and obey that creator is the question. Therefore, who can justify “killing and murdering” in the name of a religion? Killing and murdering the Creator’s creations? Any person killing in the name of a religion is deceived and listening to the wrong voice. The Creator will judge these murderous, hate-filled morons…and it will not be good for them. Sorry, but no virgins will be there.
Michael Ray says
We cannot allow that all religious questions boil down to subjective cultural indoctrination. There is either truth or no truth. If there is a Creator, then of what sort? Does this Creator relate in any knowable way to creation or creatures? What are the dominant characteristics of this Creator? What if my cultural framework denied such a Creator, am I also correct? Our athiest friends fall into the same trap. How is it that atheism somehow lends perfect omnicient, objectivity to it’s adherents, yet all other faiths are fantasies and nonsense. We need to play by the same rules of logic.
Robin Rosenblatt says
It is time for population transfer!
Paul Casale says
Until we admit this is an Islamic problem directly taken from the pages of their “religious” book no one is safe. Islam has to be separated from all other people and muslims need to stay on their own side of their borders. They prove every day they are murderous people no matter what country they are from or trying to occupy.

Stabbing has become a common and well known means of attack. Why are these border guards not provided with better body armor? Certainly 100% protection is not possible, but there is surely room for improvement.
