“In their eyes the attackers are martyrs who are going to paradise. And if they stand for a minute of silence they are against their Muslim brothers who fought for jihad and fought the ‘infidels.’”
Pope Francis and H. R. McMaster are doubtless on their way to Saudi Arabia now to explain to the Saudi soccer team that true Islam and the proper understanding of the Qur’an reject every form of violence.
“‘In their eyes the attackers are martyrs’: Islamic sheikh claims Saudi Arabian team refused minute’s silence for London terror victims because under Sharia law ‘it’s not a sin for a Muslim to kill a non-believer,'” by April Glover and Hannah Moore, Daily Mail Australia, June 8, 2017 (thanks to Ken):
An Islamic imam has suggested the Saudi Arabian team refused to take part in a minute’s silence for the London terror victims because they believe ‘it is not a sin for a Muslim to kill a non-believer’.
Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi says it is a ‘lie’ to say the Muslim culture does not remember the dead with a moment of silence, and instead argues the football team did not partake in the mourning because they stand with the jihadist men.
‘They did not stop for a moment of silence because according to Wahhabi Islam – which governs Saudi Arabia – it is not wrong or a sin for a Muslim to kill a non-Muslim,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Their response suggests that within Muslim culture they don’t remember the dead with a moment of silence. This is a lie.’
Sheikh Tawhidi says under Islam Sharia law it is not ‘wrong’ or a ‘sin’ for a Muslim to kill a non-Muslim.
‘In their eyes the attackers are martyrs who are going to paradise. And if they stand for a minute of silence they are against their Muslim brothers who fought for jihad and fought the “infidels”,’ he said.
Sheikh Tawidi also added the team would have been ‘ridiculed’ back home if they had commemorated the victims of the London terrorist attack.
But this may not be the view of every player within the Saudi team, he pointed out….

Muslims expose their own barbaric views quite well. Robert and company are our modern day Paul Revere’s.
gravenimage says
Yes, they are. We owe them a great debt of gratitude.
the hermit says
Muslims tread on their dicks all the time.
Court cases about FGM, demanding safe places in Australia and so on.
More and more, every time they tread on their own dick, the world awakens to this crime syndicate with a religious component posing as the religion of peace.

Lucia Bartoli says
A moment of silence is NOT a prayer. Even an atheist can observe a quiet moment of RESPECT for those who died.
I would remove any muslim member or team from all international soccer registers or leagues. They are members of a dangerous cult, and those who wish to watch jihadists play with a ball, as opposed to their usual goat’s head, should go to a jihadist cult country and watch every game they wish.
gravenimage says
Yes–anyone can observe a moment of silence.
Except those who agreed with the sick attack, of course.
Peggy says
And they don’t even pretend to care. They are quite open about their disrespect and hatred for us.
No doubt some will still buy that rubbish how they are outraged.
If this had happened in their country our team would not make it out alive, but let’s continue to show them how tolerant we are and still treat them like guests.

and you will see a photo of Sheikh Tawhidi. What is his bubble-shaped headwear called? I see it on Iranian mullahs. Is this a Shia hat, or do Sunnis wear it too? (And where can I buy one?) This could be a distinctive part of the uniform of a Somali baseball team called the Minnesota Mullahs.
Salome says
Tawhidi is a Shiite. He is something of a moderniser and therefore I believe under some sort of Sunni fatwa.
gravenimage says
He was probably getting in his digs at the Sunnis as much as anything–still, he was certainly right here.

Its called a head condom it keeps out feelings of compassion, self reflection, kindness, consideration, and lets in degradation ,demagogue, deprivation, rage, jealousy, racist, primal hate, and a feeling of being moral superior. I think in most cases it works well with inbreed people who are attracted and marry close relatives .It is the head gear of many Islamics for men only!
kangi_yotaka says
It’s called an imamah, and he’s got his wrap down to a science. There are youtube tutorials that show you how to wrap a plain white cloth just so … though I advise muting them lest you be assaulted with nasheeds, etc.
kangi_yotaka says
Or you could get a pre-wrapped one on Etsy for about $80 (though you’d be supporting some islamic business, no doubt) and set fire to it in the comfort of your own home.
Mo was a fan of them:
It is related: “On the day of the Conquest of Makkah, the Prophet entered Makkah, and he was wearing a black turban (ʿimāmah).” [Tirmidhī, Jamiʿ and Shamā’il]
In another narration: The Prophet called for ʿAli =on the Day of Ghadīr Khūm and wrapped a turban on his head and hung the tail draped down Ali’s back. The Prophet then said, “Wear turbans for indeed the turban is a symbol of Islam and it is a barrier between the Muslims and the Polytheist!” [Abu Nuʿaym: Mʿarifat as-Sahābah from ʿAbdur-Rahman ʿAdī al-Bahrāni]
It has also been related: The Prophet said, “Adopt wearing the turban for indeed it is the mantle of the Angels and hang the tail of it on your backs!” [Tabarānī, al-Kabīr from Ibn ʿUmar; Bayhaqī, Shuʿab al-Īman]
Also narrated: The Prophet came with thobes from charity and distributed them amongst his companions and said, “Wear turbans and differentiate yourselves from the nations that proceeded you!” [Bayhaqī, Shuʿab al-Īman from the Tābʿī Khālid bin Mʿadān in a mursal narration]
It has also been related that the Prophet said, “Wear turbans! Increase in discernment! Turbans are the crowns of the Arabs.” [Bayhaqī, Shuʿab al-Īman from Usamah bin ʿUmayr] (Ibn Hajar mentions the narration is weak but has a corroborating narration.)
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
Thanks, everyone, for your information about the “imamah”. Looking at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrsjCo0NsNI
, it looks more complicated than a necktie, and that you need help to properly “tie one on”, kind of like a Japanese lady needs help to properly put on a kimono with obi. The slogans in that 4-minute video are interesting: “Make a practice of tying turbans since it is a hallmark of the Angels.” What? Angels wear turbans? Who knew? “Prayer offered wearing a turban is seventy times more excellent than that offered without.” It’s nice to know that with an imamah we can decrease our prayer-mat head-banging seventyfold; that’s bound to have healthful effects, like reducing forehead lesions (a.k.a. zebibah).
So the Prophet said, “Wear turbans for indeed the turban is a symbol of Islam and it is a barrier between the Muslims and the Polytheist!” But what if the turban becomes a popular fashion item among trinitarians and other kufar? What then can a jihadi do to differentiate himself from the kufar? Will we need Fashion Police?
Ginger says
The match should have been cancelled.
Ginger says
Add: With the Saudi team losing by default.
Salome says
They lost anyway, which is how we like it.
gravenimage says
Absolutely agree, Ginger.
But you are right, Salome–the Saudi team is just awful, and they lost.
By the way, I saw the Saudi team play once, years ago, in a supposed “friendly” (as non-cup games are called).
They were the ugliest combination I had *ever* seen in any team–arrogant, whining, pulling fake injuries to try to get the US carded, viciously aggressive, underhanded and cruel–doing things like deliberately spiking opposing players, even when it was not strategic–and to top it off, just terrible players.
I’ve seen some of these traits in games before, and they are never pleasant–but I had never seen them all at once, or anything so blatant.
I forget the score at this point–it was probably twenty-five years ago–but they lost badly and pulled several red cards for bad behavior.
alex smythe says
Back in the 2002 World Cup in Japan and South Korea, Germany easily beat Saudi Arabia by a score of 8-0 if I recall correctly. The Saudi soccer prowess may have improved slightly in the years since, but still not all that much.
Peggy says
And going home with a good beating in more ways than one.
rubiconcrest says
Ditto. In any case what a great ‘teaching’ moment for all Australians to see. The Saudi’s did all non-Muslims a great service today by demonstrating their Islamic values.
mortimer says
EVEN ORDINARY MUSLIMS like the Saudi soccer team (who are not Islamic scholars) understand that DEAD JIHADISTS MUST BE HONORED, rather than condemned.
Cthulhu says
I pray to Allah and Moo-HAM-Mad (Piss be upon him) “Please, take all the Muslims to your muslim heaven. Right now!” It’s a win-win situation. All Muslims want to go to heaven anyway and we don’t have any Muslims on Earth anymore.
tim gallagher says
Good comment Cthulhu. It would be a much more peaceful world wouldn’t it. I must say I usually start each day saying a brief prayer to the Christian God I believe in asking, “Please eradicate Islam for the sake of all of us non-Muslims and for world peace.”. Maybe one day it’ll happen.

gravenimage says
Yes–what madness. Of course, the Saudis are no real allies of ours.
mortimer says
Muslims must never show respect for KUFAAR or HONOR the KUFAAR.
Muslims must never show disrespect for another Muslim, even if he is a sinner or the worst criminal. The only person to whom they may show disrespect is a KAFIR or an APOSTATE from Islam who has become a KAFIR due to his apostasy.
Western journalists who do not ‘get’ this display of APPROVAL FOR JIHAD are wilfully blind to what the soccer players are declaring through their boycott… namely… that they approve the London and Manchester JIHAD ATTACKS.
Ordinary Muslims APPROVE the attacks.
DRHazard says
I am certain that Muslims everywhere feel better when a Jihadi kills Westerners, especially white Westerners. Instead of responding to mass murder with some appropriate emotion like sorrow they feel joy. 9/11 was a moment of ecstasy for the Muslim world. The mental illness called Islam can transform someone from being a member of the human race into non-productive, murder loving Islamobots.
These soccer players are the “moderate” Muslims that liberals imagine actually exist. Their behavior demonstrates the level of self-righteous disdain toward non-Muslims that Islam demands of ALL Muslims. Everybody knows it. Some people just can’t accept it or won’t admit it, even when it’s right in their face.

Saudi soccer team refuses minute’s silence for London jihad victims: “attackers are martyrs going to paradise”
………………………………….
Appalling–but this should not surprise.

Yes–those “Brave Lions of Islam” slaughtered two unarmed Australian women, one of whom was a nanny, one a nurse who came to help the first victims of the attack. *She* was the one who was courageous, not the cowardly thugs who murdered her.
More:
Sheikh Mohammad Tawhidi says it is a ‘lie’ to say the Muslim culture does not remember the dead with a moment of silence, and instead argues the football team did not partake in the mourning because they stand with the jihadist men.
………………………………….
This is such a bullsh*t excuse, any way. Suppose you were traveling with a sports team and your hosts in the country you were visiting asked you to observe a simple ceremony in memory of innocent people who had been killed?
I’m sure it would not matter to you whether your own nation observed this exact ceremony, or even whether it was familiar to you; you would observe it out of respect for your hosts, and out of respect for the people who had died.
More:
‘They did not stop for a moment of silence because according to Wahhabi Islam – which governs Saudi Arabia – it is not wrong or a sin for a Muslim to kill a non-Muslim,’ he told Daily Mail Australia.

‘In their eyes the attackers are martyrs who are going to paradise. And if they stand for a minute of silence they are against their Muslim brothers who fought for jihad and fought the “infidels”,’ he said.
………………………………….
That is the *real* reason.
This also means they would be fine with Muslims slaughtering the Australian team and every Infidel in the stadium. So much for sportsmanship.
More:
Sheikh Tawidi also added the team would have been ‘ridiculed’ back home if they had commemorated the victims of the London terrorist attack.
………………………………….
In other words, it is not just the thugs on this team, but *most* Muslim Saudis. *Ugh*.
Really, Australia should have refused to play these barbarians. But since they did play them, I’m very glad they won.
Michael Casmer says
Wait a minute! I thought that jihadist weren’t the REAL Muslims. Why are the soccer players in sympathy with them? Unless they aren’t REAL Moslems.
Debi Brand says
. “Why are the soccer players in sympathy with them?”
Because when you serve in the King’s Court you serve the King’s rules.
emmett says
Well see the dedicated S J W’s know that their favorite “NOBLE SAVAGES” have no freewill . So therefore it must have been President Trump’s visit to saudi barbaria that caused this outrage, or maybe it was the Russians .
Neil Ross says
Yep. The brave jihadists, all 3 of them, armed with knives, cornered a 21 year old girl who was on her own and all 3 of them stabbed her to death. They did it for for Mohammed, because that is exactly what he would have done. It’s what the Saudis approve of, because they adhere to the same evil religion. There is no place for Muslims in London, or in any civilized country. We really must destroy all mosques and burn all Korans. We have to purge this evil from our lands.
Martel says
Most people are not doing that because they are scared to be killed, go to jail and live with a criminal record or lose their livelihoods, or worse still be labelled an islamophobe.
A lot more blood will flow underneath the bridge before inertia ridden westerners realise they must act.
Martel says
After the Saudis scored their second goal, many of their players performed their headbutting the ground prayer pose. A large boo echoed around the ground from the Aussie fans. After losing this match the Saudis will now have a very difficult road in qualifying for their first world cup in many years. Socceroos 3 Saudi Arabia 2.
Shmooviyet says
Bravo to the boo-ers, shaming this team.
Apparently it is made up of Losers in more ways than one.
They haven’t any idea of traditional good sportsmanship, on the field or off. The winning of games is all about their superiority over non-believers.
Call me phobic, muslim teams with these attitudes don’t deserve a place in Western sports leagues.
gravenimage says
Good to hear, Martel.
Monty says
At least they are not being hypocritical. I can’t imagine WW 2 Germany pausing for a minute’s silence to remember the victims of the blitz. The real tragedy is that our leaders think they can pick sides in the “war on terror”. In WW 2 (actually WW 3, WW 1 has never stopped) no one would have thought to back Japan or Germany. Both were a threat to the free world. This IS war. It’s about time our leaders opened their eyes to see the reality. We really do have blind guides. As a Christian, I’ve been reading about the predictions in the bible. If you don’t know Jesus, now is a real good time to repent and believe. It’s the only hope that anyone has.
Sheikh Tawhidi speaks the truth but who is listening? No one in authority, that’s for sure. Australia is no better than the UK or France at dealing with Islam. We just have a smaller percentage of Muslims. Fewer Muslims, less trouble. And the common denominator is? You guessed it! We are! We don’t like being insulted, murdered, slandered, lied to and deceived! That’s our fault! There should be a minute’s silence daily for the death of the truth.
Shmooviyet says
“..a minute’s silence daily for the death of the truth.” Excellent suggestion.
So very depressing to watch the liars -in and outside our lives- making so many gains.
Ann says
It’s just like that soccer game in Turkey after the Paris massacre. The Muslim players refused to observe a moment of silence to respect those murdered, and instead whistled and jeered. And they let in how many millions of them?

And yet children in western school are being brainwashed to believe that this attitude is held by only a small minority of muslims.
This quote from one of the most prominent Islamic political leaders says it all

Gosh, that almost … almost seems like it could maybe, possibly, perhaps be near that in the ring–if not dead-center in that ring–of all things “support” of the mujihadeen.
I’m sure that is not the case… just sort’of seems like it might maybe could be, as stated, perchance near it.
