“Enough is enough,” said Theresa May, but she didn’t really mean it. In Britain today it’s business as usual: tough talk from the Prime Minister, who in the course of that tough talk repeats the same old tired nonsense about jihad being a “perversion of Islam,” thereby dooming to failure whatever tough measures she may actually be contemplating against the jihadis: she will never be able to defeat the enemy while refusing to understand him or deal with the source of the incitement.
More business as usual: a few perfunctory arrests are made, and the British press reports on them without identifying them or giving any hint of their motivating ideology — everyone knows, and everyone is afraid to say, that these are Muslims waging a large-scale jihad against Britain and the free world. This raid didn’t catch five more criminals, it caught five more soldiers in a war. As long as May refuses to admit that and recast her response accordingly, the jihad massacres will continue.
“London Bridge attacks: ‘Five held by police after Barking raid,'” by Will Worley, Independent, June 4, 2017:
Five people are reportedly being held by police after an early morning raid on flats in Barking.
Footage broadcast by Sky News showed an ambulance outside the Kings Road flats.
Tara Milan told The Daily Telegraph four men were detained in the flats but one man tried to escape armed police.
She said: “I saw them bringing them out of the flat opposite, around 7am.
“One man tried to flee and they shot him outside my house. They put him in an ambulance and then the others in a police van.”
It was not immediately known if it the raid was connected to last nights attack on London Bridge.
A photo posted to Twitter by user Tanzanyali Sancez appeared to show a police cordon around the flats….
