Mohammad H confessed to murdering this elderly couple in cold blood and setting fire to their house. He was first reported to have acted out of “‘hatred and political motives,’ since the couple’s son was an active member of Austria’s far-right Freedom Party (FPO).” This was all that Mohammad H told authorities about his motives. Initially, the potential motive of jihad was bypassed, even though this gruesome knife attack was committed by a Tunisian Muslim migrant who confessed to his hatred of the Freedom party.
After authorities searched Mohammad H’s home and social networks, they are still withholding details, other than that Mohammad H “was obviously a radicalized Muslim.”
The Deputy State Governor of Upper Austria, Thomas Stelzer, said: “We obviously have more integration problems in Austria than we thought.”
Every Western nation has more integration problems than they think. After all, we’re all supposed to be under a big, happy, multicultural umbrella, loving one another, or at least tolerating one another. If anyone does not live up to this utopian fantasy and goes on a jihad rampage, then it must be the fault of the “alt-right,” colonialism, Zionism, “Islamophobia” or racism. Well, it’s none of the above. The real cause is rooted in Islamic texts and teachings.
“Double murder of Austrian couple has ‘Islamist backdrop’ – interior minister”, RT News, July 6, 2017:
A Tunisian man who admitted to killing an elderly couple in Austria turned out to be a “radicalized Muslim,” the interior minister says. The murders could mark the first Islamist attack in Austria.
“It turns out that the suspect is obviously a radicalized Muslim who has murdered two people,” Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka said at a press conference on Wednesday, as cited by ORF radio, Reuters reports. “For this reason I am talking about a murder case which clearly has an Islamist background.”
Last week a Tunisian immigrant turned himself in to police, confessing he had killed a married couple in the city of Linz. An 85-year-old woman had her throat slit with a knife, while her husband, 87, was stabbed and beaten to death. The alleged perpetrator, named as Mohammed H. by local media, also set fire to the couple’s house.
Initially, the 54-year-old suspect was reported to have acted out of “hatred and political motives,” since the couple’s son was an active member of Austria’s far-right Freedom Party (FPO).
“He said he committed the murders for political motives and out of hatred of the FPO,” a police spokesman said.
However, following the search at the suspect’s home and assessing his social networks, the investigation took a different turn, the minister said, refusing to give further details.
The Tunisian is said to have acted alone, according to Profil weekly citing the region’s police chief, Andreas Pilsl.
The suspect, who has resided in Upper Austria since 1989, knew the victims and delivered groceries to them from his wife’s store. The pair reportedly developed “a friendly relationship” with their alleged killer.
The FPO party accused security forces of failing to prevent the murder, with the head of the FPO in Upper Austria Manfred Haimbuchner saying the Tunisian had been known to authorities…..

He has been there a long time, but he now feels emboldened by the increase in terrorism across the globe and the increase in his ilk all across Europe.
There will will more such attacks by these *radical* moslums, servants of satan. Why not just call it like it is and stop with the overused adjectives.
Jaladhi says
Forget this “radicalized” Muslim business! There no such thing as radicalized Muslim – all Muslims are taught this standard Islam which tells them to kill non-Muslims from their early childhood.
This is normal Islam – killing is normal to Muslims – it comes along naturally with the lessons from Quran!
Louis Schwartz says
Jaladhi, My thoughts exactly. This has been my position since I started to read the Koran, the Hadiths, the Sunnas, etc. There is NO “Radical Islam” it’s just ISLAM. Period. In its books, it is commanded, in simple terms, that killing “Infidels” for Islam is its highest honor and the only “Guaranteed” way to get into “Paradise”. Their sources command Muslims to hate and murder Jews and Christians wherever they find them. It calls Jews and Christians the worst of people, lower than pigs. It goes on and on. Whenever I discuss this subject, I always explain this. Islam is completely incompatible with western civilization, especially the U.S. Constitution. It is a political theocracy of conquest and domination, masquerading as a reiigion. There should be no “freedom of religion” benefits granted to Islam. On its face, it is seditious in nature since it is self contained with it’s own pseudo-religious legal system that all muslims must obey above any other laws.It is called Sharia and it is Allah’s and Mohammads direct commands and they must be followed, to the letter, under pain of death. Sharia is the supreme law above all others.Islam is here for no other reason but to expand the Caliphate by over breeding and taking over the system, by sheer numbers, anywhere it exists.
Rita Stewart says
Deputy State Governor of Upper Austria Thomas Stelzer said: “We obviously have more integration problems in Austria than we thought.” How is it that these so called leaders do not know what the Muslims are up to. They want to take over the known world as they always have for generations and perhaps hundreds of years?!!!

I would consider that muslim is muslim, as they are all on track even if at different levels.

“The Tunisian is said to have acted alone”
“the Tunisian had been known to authorities…..”
I think they are considering the “lone wolf” angle but have a “Mohammad’s ‘medicinal’ fly wing” in the ointment.
He was really a “known wolf”.
So the authorities are ok with “collateral citizen damage” in their own country.
Westman says
Somehow these local Muslim “lone wolf” terrorists are always, “known by the police” and “unknown” by the Mosque they attended. It’s simply amazing….
Stan Lee says
What next for Austria and this Muslim murderer? Will Austria imprison him with three square meals per day, and a clean dry bed with running water, toilet, and his associating with other Muslim criminals who hold prayer sessions 5 times daily? An example should be made with this lunatic jihadi by a sentence of death penalty after a trial without all the bells & whistles of the EU.
Frank Anderson says
Stan, does the EU permit the death penalty? Ironically the death penalty would be exactly what he wants because it would send him straight to his 72 virgins and “pearls”. There must be something better.
Bob says
Frank – slightly off-subject, but I never stop being amazed at the way in which muslims can hurl ‘gays’ off roofs, because homosexuality is streng verboten,! while at the same time be looking forward to the liitle boys ‘like pearls! Illogical, but that, after all, is islam!’

Frank Anderson says
Bob, I don’t think you are “too far” off subject: Since when did evil have to follow any rules, much less rules of reason or logic?
ElderlyZionist says
Your chance remark has me thinking this morning. So I’ll also point out that in Islam, penetrative sex is aggressive, violent rape-sex. The culture fosters contempt and abuse for the receptive sexual partner, whether that is a woman, a child, a candy-ass man or a barnyard animal.

This horror should surprise no one, I’m afraid. These poor people. How many more victims will there be?
PRCS says
“Seen” Angemon around, lately?

No, I haven’t, PRCS. About a week ago I asked the same question. He used to post here pretty much every day.
Has anyone here seen him posing, in this or any other forum? I hope he’s OK.

I have not read any comments from Angemon, in quite some time.

Murdering people whose opinions you don’t like is one reason why countries like Afghanistan can’t seem to get the hang of Jeffersonian democracy.

I hope the people you are considering murdered are the couple that he killed. If this man is convicted and punished it will not be for his opinion, but his criminal and brutal action against a defenseless old couple who had no chance whatever.

I’m sure that is what jewdog meant, Frank.

Coming soon to a home near you, if it hasn’t already. It came to my neck of the woods big time. But let’s open the doors (borders) wide open for more, shall we? What’s a few more massacres between “friends”?
demuslim says
There is no such radical Muslim. All Muslim have to imitate Muhammed who murdered infidels in cold blood and waged war against pagan, people of the book (Jews and Christians) and gays.
dsinc says
No, he is just suffering from mental illness and needs some medication.
Frank Anderson says
I can’t begin to guess how this crime will be treated in Austria. In the US I think the prosecutor would argue that he does not meet the definition of insanity, that he did not know right from wrong, or that he could not control his action if he did.
The evidence to show that he knew he was doing wrong was that he set the house on fire to cover up the crime.
Wonder what Austria considers adequate punishment for murder of a couple in their home in their 80’s. Six months? Followed by “deprogramming” and “anger management training”?
This is a good time for looking back to the lessons of widespread violence that people failed to recognize before it was too late. It will only get worse unless the socialists run out of other people’s money to give away, or people leave, removing themselves as targets. Credit to Margaret Thatcher.
Baucent says
“The suspect, who has resided in Upper Austria since 1989, knew the victims and delivered groceries to them from his wife’s store. The pair reportedly developed “a friendly relationship” with their alleged killer.”
So this is what “moderate muslims” apparently do when the get serious about their religion.
Maxine says
What they will all do! Trained to do and believe. No modern, no radicalized, all the same. Need to send them all back to there own country’s, or better yet, a one way ticket to their 72 Virgins.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
He wasn’t radicalized; he just became more religious.
Markus Ehrenschild says
This is MOST CERTAINLY NOT the “first Islamist attack in Austria”.
Remember how dozens of people were mowed down by an SUV in the city of Graz a few years ago?
With the perpetrator then emerging from the vehicle to stab more victims?
The authorities were quick to claim the man responsible was crazy — as usual.
But it turned out he was an Islamist already known to police.
Somehow this outrage seems to have dropped off the radar….
Charles T Lawson says
Can I say>>>>>>TYPICAL ?
ElderlyZionist says
Since I’m on this thread, I’ll express my revulsion at this criminal. He was angry at a member of the anti-immigrant Freedom party, so he took revenge by murdering that man’s elderly parents, to whom he had access because of a cordial relationship they had developed with him, out of their good natures. Hanging is too good for this POS.
Frank Anderson says
Elderly, is it also too quick a path to his great reward?
ElderlyZionist says
It degrades me to brood about what this treacherous, cowardly murderer really deserves. Hang him, shoot him, put him out of *our* misery, with all deliberate speed.
Frank Anderson says
Elderly, with greatest respect:
1. Why should I suffer because someone else is evil and commits evil?
2. Why cooperate with evil by giving the greatest reward taught by evil?
3. Think about ways to delay or deny that reward?
4. “The only thing evil needs to triumph is for good men to do nothing.”
Sincerely, Peace be With You.
gravenimage says
Frank, how was ElderlyZionist talking about “doing nothing”? I think he was saying just the opposite.
Frank Anderson says
GI, making the killer pay the price for his crime by denying him the reward he will receive if he is executed for it is better than doing exactly what he wants to give him the promised reward. The criminal/terrorist/butcher/jihadi wants to be executed as was proposed. Why would we give him what he wants? Take it away to disappoint him and teach others that they will be disappointed if they follow him.
gravenimage says
Frank–with the greatest respect–I believe we should prosecute Jihad terror according to our laws, and not based on what Muslim thugs want, one way or another.
Frank Anderson says
GI, as an “officer of the court” for almost 40 years, I am committed to following the law. Prosecution according to the law is certainly preferable to other private means. But, upon conviction the sentence should fit the crime and frustrating its intent. Execution in the “normal” course is the complete fulfillment of the Islamic dream, leading to the eternal reward. Considering that goal as part of sentencing is appropriate in crafting punishment to fit the crime and defeating the reward promised to those who follow the evil teachings. Whatever can be done within the bounds of the law to defeat the reward of eternal orgies and drunkenness not only in the mind of the convicted, but also those who would repeat the crimes is the response most likely to force changes either in thinking or conduct. I believe it was General Black Jack Pershing in the Philippines who set an example of deterrence worth of considering. Best wishes always.

I really do wonder if “someone” higher up the Islamic food chain targeted this couple for their son’s political activity.
If I were the local Imam, that’s exactly what I would do.
Identify the most strident Infidels and then target not them but their families. This would send a powerful message of terror to any other would be counter-jihadists that they were not just risking their own lives, but those of their loved ones as well. Pretty effective I would say.
We have to infiltrate the mosques and listen to what is going on, as part of our strategy.
Phil Copson says
Why should we need to “infiltrate” a mosque or any religious establishment ? That the thought even occurs, shows that they are considered to be hostile “NoGo” zones; nobody needs to infiltrate a church, do they ?
The local police should be visiting every mosque and spelling it out that any preaching that incites law-breaking, violence, calls for Sharia Law to replace the law of the land etc, will result in prosecutions and the mosque being closed.
Rewards should also be given for information regarding any illegal activities carried on either in the mosques or in the community.
Frank Anderson says
Phil, I wonder what reward could be offered worth the risk of the death penalty for “betraying” Islamic teaching? As long as Islam is treated as a religion instead of a cult of murder, slavery and violence, infidels are stymied by their own rules, or as several have said or written, “Hanged by their own rope”. I wish the idea would work; but in light of Islamic rules regarding non-Muslims, I don’t see how. What do you think?
Phil Copson says
Thank you for your reply, Frank – for every muslim or muslim-convert who goes “full Islam” there will be far more who oppose violent jihadism, and they should be encouraged and protected in doing the right thing and reporting any criminal activity or exhortations to jihad.
Care would have to be taken that funding for information doesn’t simply become a “honey-pot” with people inventing false plots in order to cream-off the money, distract attention, get revenge on others, or to raise funds to carry out real ones….
Where people live in generally law-abiding Western societies, and they trust the police response to be proportionate, then they will and do come forward to prevent family members, co-religionists etc from leaving the country to join ISIS or carry out terrorist acts.
Passing information to the authorities in a Western country does not yet carry the risk of revenge-attacks that it would in more violent societies, and we have to make sure that it never does.
(And thanks too for your previous replies to my posts – if I ever find the links again, I will reply.)
Frank Anderson says
Phil to me this is a place where we can show the meaning of a favorite passage, “Behold how good and pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity. . .” Most of us share a goal of peace and liberty. When we share our thoughts, experience and education, we can learn from each other and help each other think and see what can and should be done for our goals. Thank you for your compliment.
Davegreybeard says
@Phil Copson
“Why should we need to “infiltrate” a mosque or any religious establishment ? That the thought even occurs, shows that they are considered to be hostile “NoGo” zones; nobody needs to infiltrate a church, do they ?”
From the beginning, the purpose of Islam was to create an army of warriors to convert, subjugate, or kill “Unbelievers.” It primarily uses deception and terror to accomplish its objectives.
We are facing a very cunning and implacable enemy who will use any device, any trick and yes, even our own laws and ideals to defeat us. They are patient. It may take centuries for them to achieve their goals. As long as there are men who follow Muhammad, we will be at risk of attack.
We must listen to what our enemy says if we have any hope of defeating him.
When Recep Tayyip Edogan, who most certainly knows his Islam says:
“The mosques are our barracks, the domes our helmets, the minarets our bayonets and the faithful our soldiers…”
What do you think he means?
We need to infiltrate their barracks.
