Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

French President Macron: “Islamic terrorism” is “hobbling Africa”

Jul 12, 2017 8:33 pm By Christine Douglass-Williams

Something is happening with French leader Emmanuel Macron, and no one is quite sure what it is at this stage. Recall Macron commenting bizarrely after the Paris shooting that terrorism was an “imponderable problem” which will be “part of our daily lives for years to come.” That statement could be interpreted as Macron washing his hands of all responsibility for future jihad attacks that are certain to come to France as a result of lax immigration policy.

But could Macron be experiencing some kind of shift now, or is he just plain confused? Recently, during the G-20 photo session, Macron was pictured here creating a comical scene to stand beside President Trump; and now, he has stunned his leftist comrades with a politically incorrect statement about a “civilizational” problem in Africa. He even stated:

“As of today, spending billions of dollars outright would stabilise nothing,” he concluded, having also cited arms-smuggling, drug- and human-trafficking, and Islamic terrorism as issues beyond simple poverty which might be hobbling Africa.

Why stop now? Macron might as well come out and admit the catastrophic “civilizational” problem that is destroying Europe: the war being waged by jihadists (violent and stealth) against infidel France and other democracies. It’s a bigger global problem than picking on how many children Africans are having.

“Macron: Africa Needs Fewer Children, Not Aid”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, July 11, 2017:

French president Emmanuel Macron has stunned his left-liberal admirers by saying that Africa does not need more aid, as its problems are “civilisational” rather than financial.
Macron, who has won plaudits from establishment broadcasters and media outlets by positioning himself as a counter-weight to President Donald Trump’s conservative, populist-leaning administration in the U.S., triggered a furious response when he made the comments at the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

Asked by an Ivory Coast journalist how many G20 members would be willing to commit to an African Marshall Plan – referring to the post-war reconstruction funding programme for Europe – the Frenchman surprised listeners by saying he did not think this would be a viable solution to Africa’s problems.

“The Marshall Plan was a reconstruction plan, a material plan [for a stable region],” he said.

“The problems Africa faces are completely different … and are civilisational,” he went on.

“What are the problems? Failed states, complex democratic transitions, and extremely difficult demographic transitions.”

Macron was uncharacteristically direct in clarifying what these “demographic transitions” might be later on in his remarks, chiding countries which “have seven or eight children per woman”.

It is likely the Frenchman had in mind countries such as Niger, where at least 50 per cent of the population are reported to be 14 or under.

“As of today, spending billions of dollars outright would stabilise nothing,” he concluded, having also cited arms-smuggling, drug- and human-trafficking, and Islamic terrorism as issues beyond simple poverty which might be hobbling Africa.

The denunciation of Macron’s comments by left-liberal commentators was ferocious, with the remarks branded “racist” and familiar talking points centred on colonialism and slavery being advanced.

His assessment was not entirely new, however, with economists such as the Tanzanian-born, Oxford- and Harvard-education Dambisa Moyo arguing that foreign aid has become an industry with its own vested interests which harms rather than helps Africa in tracts like Dead Aid…..

Common sense from a left leaning politician? The left’s answer to everything is to throw other people’s money at it. All the refugee influx does is shift the problem from one country to another, at no expense to the country that the exodus comes from. Europe cannot afford it. That has never bothered the lefties before.

    ………………..

Wow–truth from an unexpected source. Perhaps Macron is not completely hopeless.

For France’s sake–and that of the whole of the West–I hope this is the case.

Winston Churchill led the way in his analysis of Islam in “The River War”. No one else has summed it ;up so succinctly or with such clarity. He, realised that Islam impoverishes its followers. Perhaps other politicians are finally beginning to see the reality also

.“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.
The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property – either as a child, a wife, or a concubine – must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the faith: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.
Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”

Niger is a moslum country. Perhaps they have managed to smuggle many of the adult males into the pipeline out of the Continent to Europe and beyond.

As is evident by the way moslums devour the resources of all of the countries where they are receiving money, housing, food, etc. they would just misuse the money sent to Africa to help the poor and the children.

Perhaps this fellow was really informed before and he was faking, or he has since come to have a measure of understanding the problem. If so, perhaps he’ll find more understanding in the weeks to come.

Mon Dieu – actual clear thinking! It is futile (and counterproductive) to send ever increasing “aid” to an ever increasing population.

Eight kids? Send birth control, not rice. Naturally the leftists are horrified, because they don’t live in the real world. You can’t “reconstruct” a place that has never been constructed and that is falling into a whirlpool of dysfunction and terrorism.

Eight kids? Send birth control, not rice.

So they can enter the same demographic death spiral we are in? It’s not the size of their families that is the problem, it is the dysfunction of the “government” if you can even call what they have a government. And Islam exacerbates the problem.

      • Guest says

        Jul 13, 2017 at 6:05 pm

Wrong. Eight kids are too many. There is a good place between eight kids and your ‘death spiral’: average 2 kids per woman. And most importantly: couples get to decide when is the right time, rather than endless pregnancies damaging a woman’s health.

        • Timothy says

          Jul 15, 2017 at 12:39 am

Wronger still. It is not up to any government (or you) to determine the number of children a couple may have. Your comment’s last sentence contradicts the entire remainder of it. Eight children can be a beautiful thing…as long as their growth is not stunted by the force of their government.

        • Frank Anderson says

          Jul 15, 2017 at 4:13 am

Timothy, I agree that government should stay away from birth numbers in general. But Islam is also a combined government and religion which under their “thinking” overrides any other government. I understand there is no boundary between those two functions under Islamic rules as is supposed to exist in the US. I have read that the practical effects of a one child government policy in China is causing demographic problems. A similar de facto policy in Japan, which also prohibits medical birth control measures (ex. “the pill””) makes me wince at the impact on couples and their lives. It might be worth remembering that in India women are influenced to abort daughters, saying in effect to the mothers, “You should have never been born.” (What gross disrespect and insult!)

Do you remember the recent article on JW about the fellow in Germany, with 4 wives, and 20 children, who is receiving $379,000 per year in welfare? Does the old adage, “He who pays the fiddler also calls the tune” have any application in your analysis? Part of basic Islamic teaching is conquest by immigration and demographics. See, e.g. Modern Day Trojan Horse by Sam Solomon and E Al Maqdisi. Are or should there be limits on a general rule against government interference in family size?

I think it is fair to require if one wants a large family one should not expect “government” to pay for it. What do you think?

    • blitz2b says

      Jul 13, 2017 at 10:49 am

Marcon is worried about the ” eight kids” per woman in Africa? Really?

What about the baby making Mohammeden women, producing up to ten jihadis per household all over France and in fact all over Europe, compared to 0-1 child per couple that the selfish “can’t-be-bothered-birthing-and-raising-children” mentality of women all across Europe?

Should these leaders not worry about a drastic, inexerable. civilizational/cultural/demographic shift that will take over all of Europe in a few decades? How and why have leaders of the free world become so loathsome of their own cultural heritages?
      It’s mind boggling

Demographic studies being a huge part of the study indicate falls in every WESTERN nation BUT Western Governments seem to have ignored the need to HELP FAMILIES & instead taken the so called EASY WAY out & opted for Migration as a solution !
A few seem to have resisted the temptation & decided to stand up ! Poland Slovakia ,Hungary & Korea & Japan being the visible & obvious ones,
The rest have opted for the TERMS MULTICULTURALISM , POLITICAL CORRECTNESS & ISLAMOPHOBIA to hide a dangerous IDEOLOGY ( ISLAM) & shut the unsuspecting & vulnerable population up while policies NEVER EXPLAINED or VOTED on are VIGOROUSLY IMPLEMENTED with the HELP of the LEFT( & SOROS FOUNDATIONS) & the ISLAMISTS !

Western Nations had better wake up ! A good example of how badly this is going & illustrates how far the WESTERN GOVERNMENTS are willing to go are the RAPE EPIDEMICS in the UK, Sweden ,HOLLAND & GERMANY !

The utter arrogance of the COWARDLY Governments in the WEST Needs to be stopped & fast or there is a very good chance that DEMOCRACIES & FREEDOMS of speech & much else will be lost to FUTURE GENERATIONS !

And not in a positive way, but as triggering civil war. With the result of confusion and more instability – chaos. Chaos as needed by the globalist cabal to install their New World Order.
Not that I believe they could succeed. But nonetheless harm many people.

On the other hand it would be really nice, if Macron changed sides. Let’s have a closer look to his body-language during G-20, when talking to Trump and Merkel.

I like to think the opposite. With all this pro-muslim suicidal madness going on, we are currently living in an alternate dimension. This brief moment of lucidity from Macron is actually a tiny glimpse of the original dimension where muslims and islam are confined solely to the desert dunes of the Middle East and nowhere else. I mean, who in their right minds would let in people whose religion/ideology is to kill and destroy everyone and everything non-muslim. Crazy, am I right?

French President Macron has open eyes and a not so leftist, clear mind as he has realized money does not solve all problems and poverty is not as deadly to the spirit as the drugs, human trafficking, some cultural mores, and lack of family structure. This news is a lifts the heart. The Judaeo/ Christian/ human rights/ values that creates stability for populations that want to be protected from chaos that comes from governments that have given consent to excesses and does not make judgement on behavior or consequences will ultimately fail. Likewise ideologies that require strict adherence to bad ideas and brutal laws, and that silences and deceives will also fail if the leaders are informed.

Reminds me of how Sarkozy the socialist once gleefully talked about the importance of miscegenation, and in 2006 called Islam “one of the greatest and most beautiful civilizations the world has known,” then later became fairly anti-immigrant. He even said “the African has never really entered into history.” I think Macron will often be chameleonic in order to fit into any situation, à la John McCain, Angela Merkel, Marco Rubio, Hillary Clinton, etc., but that voters will grow weary of this once they figure it out.

I’m not really surprised as Macron was a banker or financier before becoming president. So he’s a analytical guy, who will have seen figures for France’s development aid to Africa and the billions poured in by the World Bank and IMF over the last 50 years and the very poor return in development output.

In the 1970’s, people in Africa and Asia were dirt poor. Today Asia is a development success story and Africa?…..they are still poor. Africa has been poorly served a succession of corrupt leaders, who enriched their family and Tribe, but neglected the rest of the nation. Africa is actually rich in minerals and resources and should be booming, but it’s not. The problem Europe faces is because the development strategies have failed the youthful population is voting with their feet and heading to Europe and often France.

It use to be that Africans blamed the legacy of European colonialism for Africa the being a development “basket case”. But they have been independent for half a century now and the blame lies with corrupt and incompetent African leadership (one example; Robert Mugabe).

Macron, not unlike his counterparts, has the foresight of road-kill. Ineptitude is not solely Macron’s failing most, but for a few exceptions, will not dissent from the gospel set by the autocratic EU overlords.
In the end, it is the citizens who continue to suffer from their undiscerning leadership. The latter remain content in a state of denial, political correctness, seduced by a death-wish. It has always been, thus; however, it is the citizenry who will be murdered, maimed, and victimized by Islamist terrorism, its apologists and abettors.

    • Frank Anderson says

Ric, I ask your pardon if I have worn this case out. I believe there is every reason to stop making excuses for those who claim or pretend they don’t know the evil of Islam. It’s been around 1400 years. Somewhere around 300 million people have been murdered in that time and more are being murdered every day. There are uncounted rapes because if its teachings. Child molesting and abuse is worldwide in accordance with Islamic teaching and tradition. More examples that should turn the stomach of any decent person can be mentioned without changing what should be obvious. I suggest reading the case Wyle v. R.J.Reynolds, 709 F.2d 585 (9th Cir. 1983) (One of the few cases from the 9th Circuit that seems to be generally accepted and followed) “Deliberate ignorance constitutes knowledge of the truth.” These collaborators are not fools, suckers or idiots. They should be considered fully responsible for collaborating with an enemy that has been at war with us and our ancestors without a break for 1400 years. I ask and suggest to all that we stop “giving the benefit of the doubt” to them. There is no reason to allow them to continue their collaboration or us to live in denial of the truth while we fail to take proper action to resist their lies. Please consider.
