The niqab: a security issue. But such considerations are clouded over by charges of “Islamophobia.”
“Iraq: 14 killed after suicide attack hits camp in Anbar pronvince [sic],” Al Arabiya, July 2, 2017:
At least 14 people were killed and more than 10 injured after a suicide bomber attacked a camp for displaced persons in western Anbar, Iraq….
According to initial reports, the suicide bomber was wearing a women’s uniform when he infiltrated the camp.

Did they confirm that it was a *he* and not a real she? Of course, it had nothing to do with anything, exp not islum.
It’s curious, but an old “lost episode” of Bonanza featured a man who had visited Cairo and showed a photo slide of a woman dressed as in the photo above. He declared that had he seen the woman’s face, it would have meant “instant death.”
The veil of islum: death in one way or another.
Mary Mueller says
Maybe he “identified” as a woman?
Sara says
Then would’t he have been a “they” or “their”??
TheBuffster says
A women’s “uniform”?
Is this a euphemism for a niqab or burqa, or was this person dressed as a waitress or nurse or something? They aren’t informing us in a very straightforward way, are they?
Also, they haven’t said whether the person was a man dressed in the “woman’s uniform” or a woman. Perhaps they don’t know, since the person blew his or herself up.

Was the d.p. camp for Muslims or others?
If for Muslims, then it is quite obvious- they were the wrong kind or non observant.

Gee, I am so happy to see the fruits of my labors with the moslems after serving two years in Iraq setting up projects to help them help themselves.

Anti-jihad says
This is a perfect argument for outlawing any face/head coverings and full-body burqas in public.

Perhaps it was a bacha bazzi boy.
demuslim says
That was a good news for infidel governments !
We all should learn the lesson from Iraq. Banned the Muslim Women Uniform.

Well, this is bizarre. “demuslim” has been flogging the horrors of Islam here before–why would he change his mind?

Islam – the only religion in the world bringing out religious martyrs who dress in womens cloth in order to serve God. Seriously – this has gotten on long enough. This is literally insane what these people are up to.

So, the moral of the story…..war is deceit, as Robert Spencer reminds us, so often.
In another thread this weekend a commentator expressed his dismay when so many people wrote suspiciously of the activities of Muslim MPs in the German legislature. He wrote that it was a breach of critical thinking to speculate upon ulterior motives that might be behind certain recent votes. And yet, knowing that the forces of Islamization are relentless, it seems negligent to *not* consider ulterior motives. Too often the apologists would ask us to wait until the bomb exploded before we asked any questions.
