Long was probably finding justification for gratuitous violence, and there is plenty of that in Islamic holy texts.
“La. cop-killer left suicide note, Islamic verse, trail of rage,” Boston Herald, July 1, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The military veteran who killed three law enforcement officers in Baton Rouge last summer left behind a suicide note, a prayer from an Islamic holy book and an online trail of his rage against police.
Two days after a white police officer shot and killed a black man in Louisiana’s capital, Gavin Long searched the internet for addresses, phone numbers and other personal information belonging to the two officers involved in the July 5 shooting of Alton Sterling, a prosecutor’s report revealed Friday.
Less than two weeks later, the 29-year-old black man from Kansas City, Mo., traveled to Baton Rouge and ambushed law enforcement officers outside a convenience store and car wash near police headquarters.
Armed with a semi-automatic rifle that he legally purchased, Long fatally shot three officers and wounded three others on July 17 before tactical officers killed him, ending a gun battle that lasted nearly 14 minutes that Sunday morning….
He also left a printout in his car from an Islamic holy book that was mostly in Arabic….

An islamic ‘permission slip’ left behind with a “trail of rage”.
Was that prayer script included in reports earlier than this July 1 article? Can’t recall it in media before now, but may have missed it…

I didn’t see it. The prevailing belief around here was that it was racial “payback”.
I’m furious with the media for keeping from us what we’re dealing with.
James says
I would love to know what that “prayer from an Islamic holy book” was, and the source. It could be significant. Reading these news items is like reading a murder mystery from which half the clues have been removed. We cannot protect ourselves if we do not know what we are up against.

There are so many in that unholy book the Koran or it could have been one of the more violent tales from the Hadith. If it was from any other religious book or group it would be front page news.

They prefer to treat it as a coincidence rather than a motivator, more PC that way.

All the western politicos, and their administrations’re terrified of being accused of the dreaded islamophobia, even to the point of closing their eyes to the atrocities until it’s too late!
mortimer says
Now change it to read: “The killer had neo-Nazi literature in his car”, rather than “The killer had copies of the KORAN AND HADITHS in his car.”
The double standard that defends Islam from responsibility must end.
REMEMBER: The fake news media believes that ISLAM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ISLAM.
Kay says
Good point.

The report on MSN yesterday, didn’t say anything about the uhnoly stuff…just that he left a three page “note” saying it was “necessary” to kill the police officers.
I wondered at the time, even though his name did not suggest it, if this would turn out to be *according to islum.* So much of the killing is these days.

…………………….
This should surprise no one…
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
This report, from “Boston Herald staff”, says, “He also left a printout in his car from an Islamic holy book that was mostly in Arabic”. Well, which Islamic holy book was it? The Quran? ‘Umdat al-Salik? Sahih Bukhari? Did this holy book not have a title? And for that matter, how did the unnamed reporters know it was mostly in Arabic, not Urdu?
mortimer says
I’m sure the Baton Rouge police went through every word of the text looking for clues.

if part of the book was in English, he probably misunderstood the “mistranslation” and acted on false impulse.

Wait a minute! Isn’t Ramadan over? Why all the killing?

Why is everyone “tippy-towing”around this dangerous cult. It’s here, we need to face it for what it is. It

Interesting since he’s apparently pictured with an Israeli Tavor rifle.

Moron probably had no idea what IWI meant on the Tavor.

Maybe he thought it was “I Waste Infidels”?
