And here we go again: even though the man “shouted Allahu Akbar as he launched his attack,” the “motive of the man” has “not yet been conclusively confirmed.”
Brussels is home to the notorious jihadist hotbed of Molenbeek, and it was reported on August 24th that Belgian police have had to open almost 200 terror-related cases since the beginning of 2017.
Jihad suicide attacks at Brussels airport and a metro station last year left 34 dead and 230 injured. News then emerged that Belgium was warned a decade earlier about the jihadist hotbed in Molenbeek that was turning young men to jihad activity.
Only four days before the Brussels attack, the “most wanted man in Europe” in the Paris jihad attacks that killed 130 people, Salah Abdeslam, was captured in Molenbeek, where he grew up. Many concluded that the arrest led to the attack in Brussels.
Raids were conducted upon this “jihadist hotbed” of Molenbeek back in January, but as usual, there have been no adequate followup reports about the problem being solved, because to flush out and deport the jihadists of Molenbeek would be “Islamophobic.” Belgium “has provided a steady flow of fighters to ISIS in the Middle East.”
One also wonders why is the proliferation of violent Muslim no-go zones is being tolerated in any Western country.
“‘Allahu Akbar!’ Brussels Machete Man Shot After Attacking Soldiers”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, August 25, 2017:
Soldiers in Brussels, Belgium have shot a man after he attacked soldiers with a machete, injuring two….
Early reports indicate that the attacker — who is thought to be alive but in critical condition — was a 30-year-old Somalian who shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he launched his attack. One of his victims has been left with a head injury….
However, the name and motive of the man who attacked the soldiers today — if known — have not yet been conclusively confirmed.
