Angela Merkel is the queen of flip-flop. She once said to “respond to jihad massacres with love and compassion”; on another occasion, when she was losing voter support, she called for a burqa ban, and said the refugee crisis “must never be repeated.” Then in mid-August, she called for more migrants, “echoing her ‘wir schaffen das’ [‘we can do this’] mantra from the beginning of the migrant crisis.” Now, two weeks later, Angela Merkel is back to taking a tough stance on refugees:
With a month to election day, German chancellor Angela Merkel has ramped up her refugee-critical rhetoric in a bid to pull back far-right voters, boost her Bavarian allies and win over a record number of undecideds.
Last year, “four attacks in a week — three of them carried out by asylum seekers …left Germany on edge and Chancellor Angela Merkel’s policies of welcoming refugees under renewed criticism.” Merkel has made it abundantly clear that her priority is remaining in power, not the safety and/or well-being of the German people.
“Angela Merkel takes a tougher refugee line ahead of election”, The Irish Times, August 27, 2017:
With a month to election day, German chancellor Angela Merkel has ramped up her refugee-critical rhetoric in a bid to pull back far-right voters, boost her Bavarian allies and win over a record number of undecideds.
The chancellor used weekend interviews and rallies to stand by her 2015 decision that saw almost one million asylum seekers arrive in the country. She said she would decide the same way again, but insisted that events of 2015 “must not be repeated”. Aware of huge public unease over the refugee crisis, and related terror attacks since, she signalled Germany would demand an extension of border checks on the border with Austria, a Schengen suspension requiring EU approval.
Ahead of an Africa summit on Monday, with leaders of African nations as well as France, Italy and Spain, Dr Merkel said the border checks should “be kept in place until the security services tell us they are not necessary”. She also took a tough line on reports that people granted asylum in Germany had returned to their homeland on holidays.
“Having a holiday in a country were one is persecuted is not on,” she said. “If this happens it can be reason to reconsider the asylum decision.” She disputed claims that she had “opened” Germany’s borders to refugees in the summer of 2015. When large numbers of asylum seekers walked from Hungary through Austria to Bavaria, she pointed out that “Germany’s borders were open and we decided not to close them”.
Asylum rules
However, she conceded she had been mistaken to rely on the Dublin EU asylum rules, which require asylum applications to be filed in the first EU country a person enters. She vowed to keep up pressure to reform the asylum rules, as it was not fair that Italy and Greece “carry the burden alone because of their geographical location”.
As the refugee crisis takes its place in the German election debate, Dr Merkel’s tougher line is a bid to win back defectors from her Christian Democratic Union (CDU)…..

But seriously, who can quarantee that the elections are fair nowadays.
I think the concept of secret ballot could be dismantled in the stable democracies where people are (still) free to express their views. If the ballots with voter identity and region were public, people could later verify that their votes gone on correct candidate and no alien voters appeared in that region.

You must analyse Merkel´s speeches very closely, because she is a brilliant liar. She says that 2015 does not be repeated but means that the opposition against the flooding must be silenced in advance. She demands more deportation but asks for more immigrants to be imported in the first place so that the deportations are ridicilous. She says if there is any doubt the German law is above Sharia but does not explain wether there are any situations without a doubt that put Sharia above German law.
But more and more Germans see through her lies as can be seen at the pre-election-ralley. There are quite a few people going there chanting “Merkel must go” or “traitor”.
David M says
Really? We can all see where this is going. Merkel will get re-elected, then she will back flip again & bring in a million more economic migrant Muslims. Germany will get more & more dangerous & there will be a lot more crime & terrorism.
How can you feel sorry for Germans when they know what they will be getting, yet are going to vote her in anyway.
andra says
I can feel very sorry for my fellow-Germans, as I have never voted for Merkel and never will. And besides, you can not imagine how it is to have been brainwashed for 70 years. When I was raised I felt ashamed of being German although the war had been over for decades by then. The young generation today only learns that everything that appears German must be evil. Before throwing the first stone try to live that way at least for a while and then show me how to get out of this self-distructive discourse.

Firstly, I have learned to disbelieve and disregard literally anything announced as the results of a ‘poll’. Have we not learned from Brexit- or especially, the US Trump/Clinton election over the utter nonsense that is polling results? I don’t know what the real truth is – what the German voters are actually thinking – but I’ll wager that the polls, like always, are utterly unreliable horseshit, designed to further the bias of whomever has run the poll. That is simply the way it is today, with the mainstream media and with politics. Neither can be trusted.
Secondly, Germany has a serious choice at hand here. Its one thing to go into yet another election in a democratic nation, its another thing entirely to go into THIS election in Germany, given the personal decision Merkel made on behalf of Germany and every German, when she decided to open the gates to the Islamic third world. This is an election where voting will determine what the ultimate outcome of Germany as a culture and a nation-state will be. That’s pretty earth-shattering. May they choose wisely – as they will suffer the consequences (whether they’re good or bad) as a result.
I need to do some research – because I note that the MSM have been downright silent of late regarding the upcoming German elections. I have absolutely no idea who is running against Merkel and what policies they are promoting. Does Germany even have a serious contender or viable alternative who is proposing the sheer opposite to Merkel? Because the French elections were plastered all over the planet – and we had Macron vs Le Pen. The fact that its literal silence regarding the Germany election race worries me and tells me that its just a bunch of German Politicians’ all sprouting essentially similar versions of the same accepted GroupThink.
God help Germany, if that’s the case. They just don’t have chance in that scenario.
Frankly, from where I sit personally, I think that if Germany votes that witch back into power then they deserve everything coming their way. Don’t expect me to start voting on my end, in my nation, to send OUR soldiers off to fight one day, when Germany officially starts WW3. They essentially caused the first two world wars, their actions will no doubt drag us all in a third time and I’ll be damned if I’ll agree to my nation, my culture, my way of life and anyone in the military of my nation, be put in harm’s way, in any way, shape or form – just so as the stupid Germans can be rescued from the consequences of their actions.
You’re about to make your bed, Germany. Think very carefully before you smooth those sheets over, because I promise you – no matter what happens, you will have to lie in it.

Angela Markel was raised in East Germany, at least I read that, indicating, her attitude and political stance is simple, when the Wall came down, East Germans flooded West Germany. So, when Merkel approved a million refuges from Syria to enter Germany, flooding Germany once again, stirring her memory how she entered the West, but this is different, because Muslims DO NOT assimilate in any
society.
The German people gave a helping hand to these refugees, but when the refuges started attacking German women and the police did nothing to stop them, most probably on orders from the Merkel controlled party. EVER NOTICE THE REFUGEES ARE MOSTLY MEN? WHY IS THAT? I AM PERSONALLY SUSPICIOUS OF ALL SYRIAN REFUGEES. I AM WILLING TO BET, SOME OF THEM ARE ISIS TO WRECK HAVOC IN GERMANY.
MERKEL DAYS ARE NUMBERED. She will lose the election and the German’s will throw her out of office. I don’t like her and I DO NOT TRUST HER….leo

East Germans like Merkel have never assimilated in the reunited Germany. My theory is that the reunion was part of the left plan to come to the state of today. First they let the SED alone and let them change their Name to Die Linke. Then they moved the German government from Bonn to Berlin so that the socialist Networks could work on. Then they came up with People like Merkel and Gauck, predending they were part of the Christian resistance in the DDR. And the West Germans – even 25 years ago – did not dare revolting against this reunion-thing, because they did not want to be called cruel against the DDR-inhabitants and so on. Today the flooding works on an internationoal scale and all those who stand up against the flooding are called racists and Nazis. History repeats itself.

I live in Germany and am sorry to say that according to the latest polls the German people WILL vote for Angela Merkel again. To me, this proves that the step-by-step transformation of the formerly independant but since the internet crisis economically jeopoardized German press into an information department directly/indirectly ruled in great parts by the government takes a toll on the formation of opinion, as well as the politicians themselves do with their rethorically skilled mainstream approach to critical issues. There is even a notable transformation going on of the German language itself concerning terms connected with immigration, immigrants etc. Certain words like Islamisierung today, 2017, belong to what is literally called “hatespeech” here and therefore officially may be censored.

Referring to the polls – Keep in mind that they change their directions from day to day. Just look at last week. At the beginning of the week the polls said that the AfD was loosing grounds whereas the Greenies are rising again. Then they say that the SPD is recovering and at the end of the week the AfD has gained 10% again wheras the greenies are down Close to 5%. Always keep in mind that the main mission of polls is not reflecting the actual Situation but manipulating it.
Just remember Brexit and the US elections. The polls wanted the voters to believe that neither the Brexit nor Trumpf would have a chance to win. But they were wrong. And therefore I still hope and pray that they are wrong with the German elections as well. Resistance is growing and hopefully it will result in an actice voting against the sell-out of our homelands.

This is Merkel’s entire way of doing things.
She hasn’t changed her mind on mass immigration. But what she does is throw politicians in her coalition, who openly oppose her migrant policy or dissenting voters a small bone. In the meantime, everyone is elated and thinks she’s altered course, but she continues on as before. This is how she manages the opposition and anyone gullible enough to accept her fool’s gold nuggets is taken in.
How is it that people in Germany think Merkel is the only one capable of running the country well. She’s managed to get a firm grip on power by doing away with serious challengers in her own party. She’s scheming, as well as an emotionally disconnected witch.

Germans go to the polls to vote for Soros
With Merkel’s action concerning mass migration, you have to turn to Soros. Soros pens an article, saying that when Merkel allowed in one million migrants it caused chaos and chaos will lead voters to turn to populists. And what does Merkel’s government announce, ‘we should not have allowed the migrants to come in at that rate, because it caused chaos.’ Soros goes on to say, therefore the solution is that EU nations should accept 300,000 migrants per year. And what does Merkel’s government announce, we will accept 300,000 migrants a year, and this will not lead to chaos.
And in 2016 Merkel has accepted 300,000 migrants.
When Merkel seemed to be caving to the popular pressure to control migration, with women being raped and bombs going off, terrorist attacks for the first time on German soil, Soros scolded her. This election is clearly not a vote for Merkel it’s a vote for Soros.

Maybe Merkel misses communism. often supporters of communism or socialism, believe that in those countries where it all went terribly wrong, and about 100 million slaughtered for political reasons, that the governments weren’t doing it right. It’s similar to sharia advocates, after nearly 1400 years of failure, and possibly half a billion or more people dead, they believe that if they set up their theocratic system of law, in your country, somewhere in Europe, the US or Canada or Australia, this time they will finally get it right. To tell them how screaming mad the whole idea is is to be labeled a racist or Islamophobe. i.e. you’re afraid of religious theocracy!!
No doubt the Left is preparing for a communist theocracy of global proportions.
::
Soros also thinks EU nations will not be able to afford mass migration, at the rate he specifies, so they’ll need to borrow to fund it. Think about when JFK said, ‘it’s not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country’, well, this is the opposite. What’s happening in Europe is subsidised diversity. The immigrants are not there to work or be productive, the main aim of the immigrant is to bring in more, through fetching marriages [where marriages are arranged with those left behind in the old country] and to then raise their families on state welfare. If it’s a third generation immigrant, in a Muslim family, it is 80-90% likely that there have been three generations of fetching marriages. And the costs to the state are potentially destabilizing. For instance, it cost France about 1/3 of its overall tax revenue [figure adjusted for contributions of immigrants and their descendants make, for 2012]. Nations like Sweden are hiding their immigrant costs, but we could be looking at 50% at a minimum. Denmark released their figures, in 2014 the country spent more than 50% of its total tax revenue on its non-western immigrants and their descendants. [See video, **doesn’t mention that Danish non-western Chinese immigrants are the exception and contribute more than they use.**]
https://youtu.be/xMBv8aA_Fks?t=3m24s
Even if you joined all these EU nations for form a superstate, as some hope to do, who’s going to pay for it? Mark Zuckerberg and his communist universal wage for all?
What these EU leaders are doing is taking a perfectly good plane and turning the nose downward.
