Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski has said his country is welcoming migrants from its poor and conflict-stricken European neighbours, but will resist the European Union’s efforts to impose a compulsory quota of migrants from North Africa and the Middle East.
Waszczykowski’s words echo those of the President of the Czech Republic…Miloš Zeman said he had “nothing against immigrants who come here to work and who have similar language and similar culture like ours”, citing the Ukrainian community and even the Vietnamese community as having the right attitude towards their host nation.
Poland will surely be called racist by other Western countries that have opened their borders and persisted in admitting massive numbers of immigrants who have not been and cannot be vetted. But note that the Czech Republic has referred to the “Vietnamese community as having the right attitude towards their host nation.” Assimilation or at least respect for the host country is vital to the social order of free nations.
Poland has not seen jihad attacks, mass rapes, skyrocketing crime and burgeoning national debt; neither has Hungary. Both have restrictive immigration policies. Meanwhile, the European Commission has begun a lawsuit against Poland, Hungary and the Czech Republic for refusing to take in refugees.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban also remains resolute in his refusal to accept an EU-imposed quota of refugees, also citing reasons of culture. Orban has declared that “2017 will be a year of rebellion” and that, like America, it is time to “make Hungary great again.” Orban has stated that Europe was in a “grip of madness” and warned that its “Christian identity” was threatened.
“Poland Tells EU: We’ll Take Immigrants from Europe – But Not North Africa and the Middle East”, by Jack Montgomery, Breitbart, August 8, 2017:
Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski has said his country is welcoming migrants from its poor and conflict-stricken European neighbours, but will resist the European Union’s efforts to impose a compulsory quota of migrants from North Africa and the Middle East.
“Poland is open for migration. And last year, for instance, we issued 1,267,000 visas for Ukrainians. Half of these visas were work permits,” Waszczykowski told Russian media in a bruising interview reproduced by the Daily Express.
“We are also open for migration not only from Ukraine but also from Belarus and other countries, [but] we do not want to participate in the mandatory process of relocation of migrants coming from the Middle East and Africa.
“We do not want to implement the decision of the European Union taken in September of 2015.”
Waszczykowski’s words echo those of the President of the Czech Republic — which is also resisting the EU’s attempts to impose migrant quotas — in February 2017.
Miloš Zeman said he had “nothing against immigrants who come here to work and who have similar language and similar culture like ours”, citing the Ukrainian community and even the Vietnamese community as having the right attitude towards their host nation.
“[But] I do not want immigrants who come from other cultures who come for social benefits, not because of work,” he continued, adding: “Muslims should remain in the countries where they live [and] they should work in them, and they should not go to Europe, where they do not want to work.”
Hungarian premier Viktor Orbán — the de facto leader of the group of Central European states resisting what the EU’s attempts to execute the Soros Plan to distribute migrants throughout the continent — has gone even further, wryly suggesting that he will open his country’s doors to “true refugees” fleeing multicultural Western Europe……
Ren says
Poland and Czech Republic are certainly on the right track regarding immigration policies. No muslims. No potential terrorists.
Kessler says
Indeed.
I applaud them for taking a tough line towards Muslim immigration.
Even if the EU fascists in Brussels manage to intimidate the Poles into reversing this policy, they have sent a very clear signal to the Muslim world that Muslims are not welcome in Poland.
Muslims are not interested ending up there as they know their stealth jihad/conquest will be unsuccessful. They seek towards countries inhabited by a majority of people too stupid to resist Islam.
When Europe has been fully subjugated, there will be small pockets of freedom such as Hungary and Poland. Good to know.
Shane says
What is saving Poland is Christianity, as the Poles want to maintain their country as a Christian country. The UK, France, and Sweden are secular countries run by Leftists, and these Leftists want to destroy Western Civilization and Christianity.
kessler says
Correct. In Poland they take pride in their culture and religion. In countries like the UK, taking such pride is considered an embarrassment often associated with racism and white supremacy. This is how kids grow up in a leftist educational system and will eventually lead to the destruction of our free society. They have no idea of what is at stake and time is running out.
Ned Kelly says
I agree, best speech Ive heard in years. Stick to your guns + stay strong against EU.

Good for the Poland. They have enough countries in Europe infested with Muslims as it is. m

A small ray of hope but I fear it’s too late for so many other countries.

That Polish tenacity and determination are showing — good for them.
Cunamarra says
Don’t do it Poland.
The European countries are full of people who will try to spread this idea that Europe is evil and doesn’t have the rich culture of the Middle East. They will work to whittle down your resistance. Stay strong and be the example but don’t throw your Pearl of Culture and Nation to the swine who don’t deserve nor appreciate it. Make them suffer the consequences of what they’ve done and the premise they hold. If they want to change it they should fight to re-establish good values and strengths.
It is the mess they made. Now it is time it lie in its filth or clean it up by the strength of their own hand.
Westman says
How did an economic union allow itself to be turned into a social engineering union by decisions in Germany and Brussels? That loss of sovereignty can only be resolved in two ways: rebellion or capitulation to a dictatorship.
NHConstitutionalist says
There is a 3rd option; get out of the EU, an ill begotten concept from the beginning. It is convoluted logic that sovereign nations with their own culture, languages, and traditions should be under the rule of a governing body other than their own. It is not the US with individual states united by the laws of one Constitution, within one country, one flag, one leader, one military, our own currency and as one sovereign nation.
Stay strong and independent Poland, knowing you are doing right by the people of your country. God’s blessing to you.
Mike Blackford says
It was ALWAYS about social engineering from the start. Wake up people. Read your (real) history. They control with money with the ultimate goal of social change in the background. Money is a side benefit. Cinch up the change in society and the money comes.
Adrian Johnson says
Q.: “How did an economic union allow itself to be turned into a social engineering union by decisions in Germany and Brussels?”
A: The Coudenhove Kalergi Plan. (look it up. Be appalled)
c matt says
So if the EU attacks Poland (both containing NATO members), whom does the US support?
Westman says
You mean the EU army, that doesn’t exist, attacks Poland? Europe has been wealthy for two reasons, unpaid NATO defense and tourism; both will be declining. The only usable EU weapon against Poland. Hungary, and the Czech Republic, is economic boycott. “I fine thee €xxx” is toothless.
Since all three nations have a better work ethic than the EU (sans Germany) they will outlive any boycott. It is the EU that is in decline from bad decisions and overreach. Their party of a good time, having few children, taking a month off, and a cheap NATO umbrella is coming to an end; accelerated by increasing NATO costs, disintegration of the EU, and the coup de grace, the expense of the non-integrating Muslim economic immigrants. When the problems get worse the tourists will find other venues. For now, Brussels is drinking the kool-aid. In ten years, the tourists may be drinking vodka.
Adrian Johnson says
The Libson Treaty has made provision for a future EU Army: Brussels has the right to conscript fit males –EXCEPT MIGRANTS– from all member nations, except Ireland, which has the right to opt out.
An EU standing army is coming; whatever else Brexit will do for the UK, it will spare her young men from conscription in this Neo-Fascist army.

A good point of view>
Issa says
Poland did take 100 Christian families from Syria. They all ran off to Germany despite it being full of Muslims. I guess they weren’t that persecuted.
Sarah says
Are you serious?
I had not heard that one. Would you care to provide a bit more info? I’ll go do a search myself, but anything else you can provide, I would really appreciate.
That is mind blowing. Truly. Its a classic example of greed and self-entitlement winning out over ‘persecution’.
gravenimage says
Sarah, Issa is right. Here is that story:
“Majority of Christian Syrian refugees left Poland”
Only 35 of the 160 Christian Syrians who were given asylum in Poland last year are still in the country, but the foundation which brought them is still trying to get more.
http://www.thenews.pl/1/10/Artykul/238115,Majority-of-Christian-Syrian-refugees-left-Poland
I think this is because all that most migrants know is that Germany is a wealthier country than Poland–I doubt they understand how deep the inroads Islam has made there.
Jakub says
christians or muslims from middle east are still from middle east, diffrent state of mind
Adrian Johnson says
“100 Christian families from Syria. . . all ran off to Germany despite it being full of Muslims. I guess they weren’t that persecuted [in Poland].”
They soon will be.
Issa says
…persecuted [in Poland]?
No, they were not persecuted in Poland, why would they be? I meant that apparently they were not persecuted enough in the Arab Republic of Syria to decide to avoid Muslims for the rest of their lives and settle in a Christian country like Poland.
Paul says
Come on Poland – Nice truck attack, the Bataclan massacre, Brussels,

Congrats ! You’re the first one to catch the doublespeak. All he said was that Poland would accept Jihadis who are already EU citizens. He never specified that they must be non-Muslims – that fellow has certainly understood the basic principles of Taqiya !
Baucent says
“we do not want to participate in the mandatory process of relocation of migrants coming from the Middle East and Africa.” That’s what he said. If you think they will not vet potential migrants that are EU citizens, then you haven’t been paying attention to the mood in then Eastern State.
Drop the superior tone as well, you aren’t as clever as you clearly think you are.
gravenimage says
Baucent, this is a lot savvier than most European countries–or even most in the West. Important first step, I think.
katherine says
No,not really – just getting extremely cynical about what politicians say and what else they actually do. I shall believe it only if they dig in when the EU really pushes – or will they do a Trump and Compromise.

My next trip to Europe will be a tour of the four Visegrad nations. I will spend my tourist dollars in countries that have the gumption and the will to preserve their cultural identities and to protect their citizens, as well as to protect secular democracy.

Very wise. Smart decision.
Matthieu Baudin says
Poland is positioning itself to become quite a healthy democracy, a country that people from the ‘hollowed out’ democracies of Western Europe may one day come to envy for its robust and secure civil society.
Baucent says
Like a breath of fresh air are the comments from Poland’s Foreign Minister. Sanity and reasonableness are long abandoned in Western Europe when it comes to muslim migration.
PKG says
It’s probably no mistake that Poland and the other countries of the Eastern block are the last bastion of freedom, democracy and the values of Western civilisation.
Their collective memory of being under the yoke of twin totalitarian regimes of the Ottoman empire and Communism is recent and raw….freedoms have been hard won for and the Poles and their neighbours know that it is just as easy to lose or take for granted.

THE EU AS A DEFINITION WAS CREATED TO FORM A BLOCK OF NATIONS FOR THE PURPOSES OF TRADE https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Union-
So now these UNELECTED overpaid clowns have the nerve to impose shit on NATION STATES and we’re letting them get away with it??!!! EU is a dick-tatorship nothing more or less and must be DISMANTLED – But it’s so huge now that they will viciously fight to survive.
gravenimage says
Yes–if the EU were just about free trade it would be mostly fine–although even in that sphere, they often bully member nations.
But the real issue is in the political arena, where the EU tries to enforce suicidal policies. Good for Poland–and the Czech Republic and Hungary–for resisting.

At this point in time there are enough refugees (all Muslims) to destabilize Europe’s
ethnic balance. And there are about a dozen other Muslim countries boiling and ready to send
a few million more. Countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia, etc
The Polish decision is very timely and wise.
gravenimage says
Right now, Muslims don’t make up more than eight percent of any European nation–so this has nothing to do with “ethnic balance”. But those are enough Muslims to cause havoc with crime, rape, and violent Jihad.
