Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

UK: Muslim who carried pipe bomb onto flight found guilty, but counterterror top dog says motive unknown

Aug 8, 2017 3:24 pm By Robert Spencer

Prosecutor Jonathan Sandiford said: “The crown says that the only reason why somebody would try and carry an assembled and viable IED through stringent airport security checks and on to an aeroplane would be a desire and intention to detonate it within the confines of that aeroplane. The only reason for doing that would have been an intention to endanger lives or cause serious damage to property or both. What motive can there have been for what was to all intents and purposes likely to be a suicide attack on an aeroplane?”

However, “after the verdict, Sue Hemming, the head of the special crime and counter-terrorism division in the Crown Prosecution Service, said: ‘Despite extensive investigation, Nadeem Muhammad’s motive for attempting to take this device on to a plane remains unknown.'”

Of course. What, after all, could it possibly be? British authorities know Islam has nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism. And so Nadeem Muhammad’s motive for carrying a pipe bomb onto an airplane must forever remain unknown. The highest priority for Sue Hemming and her colleagues is not to protect Britons from jihad terror attacks, but to avoid the slightest appearance of “Islamophobia.”

“Suicide attack likely motive for Manchester airport pipe bomb carrier,” by Vikram Dodd, Guardian, August 8, 2017 (thanks to Blazing Cat Fur):

A man has been convicted of taking a pipe bomb onto a Ryanair flight after the jury in his trial heard he was likely to have been planning a suicide attack.

Nadeem Muhammad, 43, was found guilty of possessing explosives with intent to endanger life or property after a pipe bomb was found in his hand luggage at Manchester airport.

But it is understood investigators concluded he did not pose a danger to national security and no evidence has been found by counter-terrorism officials tying him in any shape or form to extremism….

When the pipe bomb was found, Muhammad was questioned, but ultimately allowed to travel on. Security officials at Manchester airport had at first not believed the bomb was viable. Muhammad was questioned by counter-terrorism police, released and allowed to board another flight to Bergamo, near Milan, five days later.

The court had heard he was planning to board a Ryanair flight to Italy on 30 January when security officers found the device was made of masking tape, batteries, the tube of a marker pen, pins and wires, and in the zip lining of his small suitcase.

Muhammad claimed in court that he had never seen the device the crown said he tried to smuggle on to the Boeing 737 and that it had nothing to do with him.

Prosecutor Jonathan Sandiford told the jury when opening the case: “The crown says that the only reason why somebody would try and carry an assembled and viable IED through stringent airport security checks and on to an aeroplane would be a desire and intention to detonate it within the confines of that aeroplane.

“The only reason for doing that would have been an intention to endanger lives or cause serious damage to property or both. What motive can there have been for what was to all intents and purposes likely to be a suicide attack on an aeroplane?”

The search for a motive led to investigations by police from the north-west counter-terrorism unit and the domestic security service MI5. No evidence or intelligence was found to support the idea Muhammad was driven by a terrorist motive. In government it is not being included among the list of foiled or thwarted terrorist recent plots. The case was prosecuted under the Explosives Act and not under the Terrorism Act.

Sandiford told the jury when opening the case: “The crown has found no evidence of any particular motive. You may think terrorism is one of the possible and the most likely motive but it could be a desire to commit suicide or some other reason.”…

The court heard that Muhammad was born in Pakistan but had an Italian passport. The “crude improvised explosive device” was discovered by airport security when his hand luggage went through scanners at the airport.

But when security swabbed the bomb, there was no trace of explosives on the outside and officers did not believe it was a viable device. Deborah Jeffrey, the security manager at Terminal 3, initially kept it in her pocket before it was handed to police.

After the verdict, Sue Hemming, the head of the special crime and counter-terrorism division in the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “Despite extensive investigation, Nadeem Muhammad’s motive for attempting to take this device on to a plane remains unknown.”

Muhammad was questioned by officers from the counter-terrorism unit but released. He returned to the airport the next day to collect his mobile phone, which had been taken by police, then again on 5 February when he boarded another flight to Italy….

Sure, that happens all the time.

Truly. A man named Muhammad attempting to carry a pipe bomb onto an airplane of unbelievers has no motive? Let’s suppose, as the stupid prosecutors suggested, he intended suicide, which is really martyrdom that promises paradise for killing unbelievers whose countries have been engaged in war with Muslims.

There is no suicide in Islam when taking out unbelievers. It seems the court administrators are too lazy to learn the ideology of Islam yet profess an ability to judge it. The blind are truly leading the blind in the UK, and likely to lose their heads together.

Since when has anyone used IEDs to end their lives without trying to take other people out with them?

This is simply not a suicide method used by most depressed people, Muslims included.

Small wonder the crown has found no evidence of motive: Sandiford has not read Koran 9:111
    :
“…they will have Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah , so they kill and are killed.”

That “some other reason” could indeed be terrorism and suicide combined.

British lawyers are not trained in Islam or Sharia. It shows.

That is the point: the ANTI-TERRORISM people are PRETENDING they don’t know the JIHAD DOCTRINE and the MOTIVATIONAL DOCTRINE called AL WALAA WAL BARAA that teaches Muslims to HATE AND KILL dirty kafirs ‘for the sake of Allah’.

Prosecutor Jonathan Sandiford can learn a lot of MOTIVE from the Islamic doctrine of hatred called AL WALAA WALAA BARAA: to hate dirty kafirs ‘for the sake of Allah’. MUSLIMS HAVE A DUTY TO HATE DIRTY KAFIRS … because ALLAH hates the dirty kafirs first.

AL WALAA WAL BARAA IS THE MOTIVATION OF ALL JIHAD. It is: – To Hate – To keep distance from – To be enemy to – To desert – To decline to help – To disrespect – To put down – Not to ally with – Not to support.

Osama Bin Laden on HATRED of the Kufaar ‘for the sake of Allah’:

“Battle, animosity, and hatred…directed from the Muslim to the infidel…is the foundation of our religion. And we consider this a justice and kindness to them.” -Osama bin Laden

    INCOMPETENCE AND PROFESSIONAL MALPRACTICE

Sue Hemming is either the thickest brick in England or she is following the ILL-ADVISED WHITEWASHING OF ISLAM by her higher-up silly twits!

Islam has a CLEAR DOCTRINE OF HATE DIRECTED TOWARDS NON-MUSLIMS that is called ‘AL WALAA WAL BARAA’.

Any anti-terrorist unit that has not learned AND MASTERED the doctrine of AL WALAA WAL BARAA is culpably NEGLIGENT, INCOMPETENT and guilty of PROFESSIONAL MALPRACTICE. They should be REMOVED FROM THEIR HIGH-PAID JOBS for NOT KNOWING ESSENTIAL ISLAMIC DOCTRINES.

Question is; can these senior bureaucrats possibly take themselves seriously when they look in the mirror, at a time when nearly everyone else is laughing at their hollow assessments?

  17. MK says

    Aug 9, 2017 at 2:39 am

Phew! The “head of the special crime and counter-terrorism division in the Crown Prosecution Service” is truly delusional if she thinks any sane person living in these times will believe her assessment of this case. I believe she is attempting to make excuses to pacify the liberals to prevent the accusation of islamophobia. Also to pacify the muslims who will again scream islamophobia. Finally to the general population who are largely ignorant of the complete mess that islam is making of Western Civilisation and keep them in their media induced torpor.

Like most people who have recently been educated about what is going on throughout Western Civilisation, this really is a horrendous whitewashing of the obvious truth!

  18. ScottM says

Not sure if this woman reports directly to Theresa May or not, but even if not, she MUST be sacked tomorrow if May’s government is to have any shred of credibility whatsoever.

Carried a pipe bomb onto the plane and they have no idea what his motive was?

The counter-terrorism division in the Crown Prosecution Service, needs to run a “help wanted” advertisement in tomorrow’s papers, asking for qualified applicants of 10-years age to apply.

If a 10-year-old can’t figure out a motive, they ought to eliminate the position straightway and save the taxpayers a bit of money.

    Fools.

  20. Anne Smith says

    Aug 9, 2017 at 5:27 am

As a British citizen I am absolutely horrified at the stupidity of our security services which this case has revealed. It is only thanks to the ineptness of the criminal that he was unable to blow up the plane and all in it, not to the vigilance of the authorities.

In any case, what does the “motive” matter? Taking a bomb on a plane is a criminal act, whatever the motive might be. The act itself is the crime. How on earth these idiots could have let him go and then allow him to board another plane is criminal in itself. What was their motive in letting him go?

  21. Ron says

‘Ello,Ello,Ello wots all this ‘ere then?

As usual the Britanistani police{the UK’s politically correct Police Constabulary, the pc PCs} have terrible difficulty figuring out the motivation part of the standard homicide detective’s Means-Opportunity-Motivation paradigm. It’s a real brain teaser for them.If only someone as smart as the fictional Sherlock Holmes could help them but alas!
It is completely beyond them it seems..

What could possibly inspire a muslim to slay unbelievers wherever he happens to find them, like say,on board an aeroplane?

Where on earth would any muslim get the idea to do such a terrible thing?

Oh that’s easy.Such inspiration and encouragement comes.. from allah himself..

“Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them”
    Koran 2:191

So there. Is that so hard for the Britanistani police to figure out?
Apparently it is too difficult to accept that…..

The motivation for islamic terror is part and parcel of islamic belief and it comes from their god…allah himself.

let’s examine allah’s morally wrong and Sixth commandment of God-violating instruction to MURDER the innocent infidels.

    slay the unbeliever….KILL…Commit Murder upon..
Wherever you find them….infidels are to be found in shopping malls, music venues,airports..

allah says MURDER THE INFIDELS..even if they are unarmed, innocent and defenseless….allah doesn’t mind as long as the infidels are murdered.

CNN is working on getting a riot started in Minneapolis. The gov gave the mosque a flower. Franken is going down for some vote sucking…. Inciting is fun, they say. Murder is news, they say,

It was a guy that attends that mosque, and the reward if someone had a cam on is in the tens of thousands, unless a muslim did it. Then CAIR will attack the witness!
