In this new video, I discuss how Google has changed its first page results for searches of terms such as “jihad,” “sharia” and “taqiyya” to display only positive explanations of Islamic concepts.

Searches for “jihad” and “sharia” on google do indeed turn up a whole laundry full of well-scrubbed sources. However, I found one quick way to get around that is to pair “jihad” “sharia” and other subjects with “kuffar”, “kufr”, “unbelievers”, etc. The results are quite a bit more enlightening, including links to very frank and outspoken imams laying down the law to true believers.
Of course this is no help in the case of the curious individual who merely wants to confirm if “those things so-and-so said about Islam” are true. Instead of gaining enlightenment he will be handed the whitewash and shown the fence.
We are moving backward in time, and 1984 is coming up fast on our left…

In the 1950s and 1960s bribed American elites refused to admit the connexion between cigarettes and cancer.
Today, American elites refuse to admit the connection between Islamic CORE TEACHINGS and JIHAD TERRORISM.
Today’s American elites are being bribed with Gulf oil money to whitewash the connexion between Islam and ISLAMIC TERRORISM.
Yes your quite right on the bit where we’re moving backwards. Haven’t done the searches but have heard it told.

Okay, I, for one, accept that Google, for whatever number of reasons, is a purveyor of “hidden agenda” strategies for their particular and specific corporate interests; where such a hidden agenda may be dangerous to a freedom-loving society.
My question is: can anyone recommend some other effective online search engine which is not so nefarious? TIA.

DuckDuckGo maybe?

Try DuckDuckGo, it does not log your searches and, therefore, you don’t have your info sent out to third party vendors. Very good search engine.

I have not recently done BING searches or neutrality about Islam, but that engine is HUGE, and you might find it better than Google. Also, type “search engines” into Bing and maybe even more will appear.
After the outrage that followed PayPal’s collusion with politically motivated self-interest groups caused them to rethink their actions, we really do need to take Google on.
Their whole business model regarding search, was based on accurate and reliable results, what they are doing now negates that mission statement, entirely.
That they may have taken a step further than PayPal and be colluding with terrorist sympathisers, or worse, must trouble both them, and us.
Does anyone have the appropriate contact details for the Google person, or department, that we can register our concerns with?
What really worries me, is that I was able to easily find both sides of the argument about jihadist threats and islam, just a few years ago, but today that research might not yield the truth at all, with only one side represented.
I hope that I would’ve preserved, but how many will be misled?
The truth is all we have.

This isn’t just about jihad. Google is trying to alter the very history of the first world. For example, search google images for “people of Europe history” and you’ll see the top results are all pictures of black people. I’m not racist, but this is very clearly an attempt by google to falsely portray that “black people have always been a part of Europe”, even though colonization started mere centuries ago, completely ignoring thousands of years before that.
This is just one example, I’ve seen people talking similar things google does. Is this what they call creeping doom? Replacing of people? I was never one for conspiracy theories, but that shit is starting to look more real every day…

Hi LB,
I just posted a comment documenting my searches that verified yours, not only on Google but also Duck Duck Go and Bing. I made other searches also, showing that slaves do not appear when you search terms like History of Islam or History of Arabs. If you search history of the United States, you get all kinds of images of Howard Zinn’s book.
My comment disappeared when I tried to post it, and I don’t have time to reproduce it all.
I’ve had numerous instances of attempting to post comments on this site, but they don’t appear. Anyone else having this problem?

Solange, this is not so much about regular posters like ourselves being able to find Jihad Watch, but people who are becoming alarmed about Jihad being able to find the site and learn more.
The entire purpose of Jihad Watch is to educate people about the Jihad threat, and these manipulations by Google are deliberately threatening that.
