Ryanair may now be denounced as “Islamophobic” for thinking that screams of “Allahu akbar” were any cause for alarm. Nowadays, one must deny reality in order to avoid charges of “bigotry.”
“9 men thrown off Ryanair flight for shouting ‘Allahu Akbar,’” RT, September 2, 2017:
Nine men have been thrown off a Ryanair flight for allegedly shouting “Allahu Akbar” and claiming to carry bombs, which they later said was a “joke.”
The group was removed from the Madrid-bound flight before it took off from Zaventem Airport, Brussels early Saturday.
Following the disruptive passengers’ removal, the Boeing 737-800 was briefly evacuated and searched before departing with a two-hour delay around 9:15am local time.
Spokesperson for the Belgian federal police, Peter De Waele, confirmed the incident to RT.com, and said one man was arrested.
“The flight commander refused to take these nine people (a group of friends) after the incident. One of them was a foolish joker and called ‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is great’),” said De Waele.
A spokesperson for Ryanair told RT.com that the flight crew requested police assistance “after a number of passenger became disruptive prior to departure.”…

“shouting “Allahu Akbar” and claiming to carry bombs” will get them perp-walkedin handcuffs off a plane in the US by the FBI. 9-11 put a crimp in those kinds of jokes. Bad for airline business, also.

Sick, whether it was a joke or not. Moslems should not be allowed on planes.

They weren’t moslems, just drunk football louts going to see a match in Barcelona.

I was wondering how they got the doors open at 28,000 feet. Unfortunately, they never left the ground prior to bouncing them out the door.

This was my main curiosity as well, with a similar reaction to the banality of it all.

Threw them off? How “Islamophobic”! sarc/off

Perhaps waiting until the flight was at its cruising level and then ‘throwing them off’ would have signalled neither the flight crew nor the passengers were entertained by the ‘joke.’

Islamophobic even. blame the Queen’s gin martinis. Islamohobos remain a concern, however.

So apropos since Islam is a joke. A cruel, desultory and lethal one, but a joke nonetheless.
I think this will “skip over” the heads of these nine guys.
Yeah, a given.

This is *insane*. Does Edinburgh University now consider it “hate” to criticize *ISIS*?
D Austin says
Don’t know why the complainer, ‘a self-proclaimed feminist and womanist from inner-city London’, is whining. The law student looks and dresses like a woman…
Jack Diamond says
Pathetic. Esme Allman is afraid now because someone approved of bombing ISIS, and the
University has to protect her from the opinions of others. Yep, that’s what college is for.
How is mocking ISIS “Islamophobia” again, unless the Islamic State is …. Islamic?
What does Esme Allman feel about the Islamic State or jihad, since she is so offended?
Why isn’t Edinburgh University investigating Esme Allman, or at the very least mocking HER?

They need to be charged with terrorism, prosecuted, and jailed. This was most likely a dry-run to a classic Islamics terrorist attack. No one is normally stupid enough to go yelling like that unless they are trying to create fear.
“‘Allahu Akbar’ (‘God is great’)” should be “‘Allahu Akbar’ (the god is great’)”. The word “Allahu”/Allah” is a contraction of the words “al” (the) and “ilah” (god) from what I have read.
Jack Diamond says
Not great, greater than your god or greater than everything, or the Most great. An assertion of supremacism.
Donald R Laster Jr says
The word “allah” and its variants do not mean “god”. They means “the god”. Remember, Islam is rooted in a polytheist religion. Islamics avoid translating “allah” to pretend it is a name.
Jack Diamond says
The more important point had to do with whether “the god” was great or “the god” was greater than yours and anyone else’s.
Anyway, don’t be so sure you know everything there is to know about such a murky subject as Allah.
“The etymological derivation of “Allah” as a contraction of “al-ilah”,
..is “popular” etymology and surely not historic. It would be rather
strange that especially the “i” should have been disappeared due
to neglect of the speakers, since the syllable “il” is the most
important in “al-ilah”: “il” or “el” is the semitic word for God
since times immemorial.
Instead, the word “Allah”, as a lot of other words, especially words
of the religious sphere, was imported from the Syriac (Aramaic)
language: “alaha” – with three long a-vowels -, is the Aramaic word
for the (Christian) unique God. The last (long) “a” characterizes
the status absolutus in the Aramaic language and was duly omitted
by the Arabs like case endings in the Arabic vernacular, whereas
the understanding of the first syllable of “alaha” as an article
was a common misunderstanding like for instance in “al-Iskandar”
from Greek “Alexandros” etc. The doubling of the “l” is irrelevant,
since the doubling sign is a very late invention of Arabic orthography,
centuries after Muhammad.
–Dr. Christoph Heger
From “Answering Islam”:
“ALLAH”
lit. the (al) – God (`ilah). name of God in the Qur’an. The feminine form is al-`ilat.
Although the above is the most popular explanation of the name, this is probably not correct, and the source of the name has to be sought in the Aramaic language. See the article on Alaha, the Syriac Christian term for God.”

As for the pagan characteristics of Allah and many Islamic rituals, absolutely true.
Allah, of course, was a deity (proper name or not) known to pre-Islamic Arabia. Muhammad’s father was named Abdullah, slave of Allah. His own father was custodian of the Ka’ba. Many of the pagan pre-Islamic rituals around the Ka’ba were
retained by Muhammad. His kissing the black stone, for instance, which was startling even to the second caliph:
Narrated ‘Abis bin Rabia:
‘Umar came near the Black Stone and kissed it and said “No doubt, I know that you are a stone and can neither benefit anyone nor harm anyone. Had I not seen Allah’s Apostle kissing you I would not have kissed you.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Volume 2, Book 26, Number 667)
Donald R Laster Jr says
The Qur’an even references Hubal’s 3 daughter goddesses. Based upon research I have read and seen the word “allah” was primarily used to reference Hubal chief god of the Arab pantheon of gods. It is not a name and it should always be translated properly – especially today and if one is not reading Arabic. Mohammad tried to get Jews and Christian to follow his god and he was rejected. They knew what god he worshiped. And with recent finds in Arabia Judaism appears to have been more prevalent in Arabia than people realize today. Which would also explain why Mohammad worked so hard at the beginning to trick people into thinking Hubal was Jehavoah – just a different name. When he was rejected he replaced everything about friendship with Jews and Christians with attack and subdue them.
And try speaking the phrase “al ilah” fast. We see contraction of words in lots of languages end up with similar contractions. The word is not a name.

Europe Facing Decades-Long “Bloody Fight” With Jihadists, Warns Nigel Farage
Civil war in Europe now inevitable due to Islamic invasion
https://www.infowars.com/europe-facing-decades-long-bloody-fight-with-jihadists-warns-nigel-farage/
British statesman Nigel Farage has conceded that Europeans have crossed a tipping point and are now facing a battle against jihadists that could go on for decades, despite countless forewarnings about border security and immigration trends issued by nationalists like him.
In an interview with Westmonster, Farage was asked how he feels about the unfolding crisis of Islamic terrorism in the UK and Europe, knowing that he has attempted for many years to avert the looming catastrophe while being constantly defamed and slandered by the global elite, EU internationalists, and mainstream media alike.
“No one said sorry, not one – the legions who lined up to say that I was racist, neo-fascist – no one has apologized.” Farage said. “Surely, decent people would admit they were wrong.”
“To be honest, even my most pessimistic view of what was going to happen here has been far exceeded by truth and reality.”
“I think we are in a very bad place. I think we are in for decades of a very difficult and literally bloody fight, and I believe we have brought it all upon ourselves,” he assessed.
