Noting that there was only a small, non-radicalised Muslim community in the Central European country, the prime minister told Austrian newspaper Die Presse: “When we see problems in other European countries, we do not want Muslims in the Czech Republic.”
Like Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban and Polish leader Beata Sydlo, Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobatka has not budged in the face of political correctness and pressure. His priority, like theirs, remains to protect the people of his country.
Sobatka will undoubtedly continue to be challenged as an “Islamophobe” by the radical left agenda drivers. A shocking report emerged in May about a Czech girl scout who confronted Neo-Nazi demonstrators and stated that even though immigrants may rape her, “she’ll get over it.” Insanity knows no boundaries in radical left ideology. Unfortunately, innocent citizens are being sacrificed to a destructive social experiment that protects Islamic supremacists over law-abiding citizens of the West who value the price paid for democratic freedoms.
“‘We Do Not Want More Muslims in Czech Republic’: Prime Minister”, Victoria Friedman, Breitbart, August 30, 2017:
Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka does not want the Muslim community to grow in the Czech Republic, saying he has seen what problems large Muslim populations have caused in other European countries.
Noting that there was only a small, non-radicalised Muslim community in the Central European country, the prime minister told Austrian newspaper Die Presse: “When we see problems in other European countries, we do not want Muslims in the Czech Republic.”
“We would greatly appreciate if Europe would better protect its external border. Receiving refugees should always be the responsibility of nation states,” Mr. Sobotka added.
In comments alluding to crime, sex attacks, and terrorism committed by Middle Eastern and African migrants in Western Europe since 2015, the prime minister said: “In Europe too often we see problems with the integration of people coming from another cultural or religious environment.”
The Czech Republic has around 22,000 Muslims living in the country who are described as well-integrated and not particularly committed to or fundamentalist in the expression of their faith.
The comments come in the same week Czech President Miloš Zeman defended burkini bans at swimming pools across the country, saying: “In Czech swimming pools there is no reason for anyone bathing in Arab clothes.”
Sobotka pointed to the country’s commitment to assisting in tackling the migrant crisis, telling the Austrian newspaper the Czech Republic is financially supporting the Libyan coastguard and migrant camps as well as sending policemen to assist border patrols in the Balkans.
Like the other three countries in the Visegrád Group (Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary), the Czech Republic rejects the European Union’s forced migrant relocation programme.
The prime minister made the point that the country is “helping people coming from Eastern Europe”.
Similarly, President Zeman has said people fleeing the Ukraine, following the Euromaidan protests, should be included in the migrant redistribution programme given the numbers absorbed by the Visegrád group. Poland has issued nearly 1.3 million visas to Ukrainians last year, including those claiming asylum…..

These eastern block countries have already gone through a long period when fascism was the order of the day, why would they want to import another fascist Ideology? It’s good for them that they’ve already been inoculated from fascist ideologies.
LB says
Exactly! In the past we’ve been subjugated not only by fascism, but also by islam as well because half of us were under muslim Ottoman rule. A large majority of us are very much aware of the muslim and fascist-leftist threat that the West is trying to enforce upon us. That’s why I get pissed when I see Americans writing stuff like “Europe is finished”, etc. No! Only half of Europe (the liberal progressive Western and Northern / Scandinavian Europe) is finished!
I predict that in the future when the muslims completely replace the native Western Europeans in their own countries (in about 2-3 decades), they will surely try to start a war with us with the help of other middle eastern muslim countries. That’s when we’re gonna join forces with Russia and once again take back Western Europe from another fascist (that is, islamic) ideology which conquered it. As for the US… it can go both ways. That will depend whether a democrat or a (non-spineless) republican will be sitting in the White House.
Krazy Kafir says
Funny, the seed of freedom will come from the Eastern block countries.

Czech Republic to EU, control your dogs, or we will!
Slovakia, Poland, and Hungary, and the Czech Republic have all recently kicked communism in the a$$. Before that they fought the Ottoman Turks for centuries. Western European snowflakes wouldn’t know totalitarianism if it’s boot stomped on their face.
Appears the Orthodox Church is still fighting for survival, unlike the Roman Catholic Church, which has already surrendered. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Eastern Europe align with Orthodox Russia.
Jon says
You must not know much about Poland and the Czech Republic if you think an alignment with Russia is on the cards.
D Austin says
Turkey is well on its way to reviving the Ottoman Empire. If successful, it will be the first time in history that an empire has come back from the grave. Turkey has the largest military in NATO, not counting the US. Japan is building Turkey a nuclear power plant on the Black Sea, which means they may build their own nukes in the future. I expect to see some countries in Europe fall to Islam. I believe that Turkey will threaten Europe in the future.
Russia may tolerate Turkey now for economic purposes, but Russia and Turkey have never been very friendly towards each other. And at some point in time I believe Russia will capture the Bosporus, Russian troops will occupying Istanbul and recapture the Hagia Sophia. That would go a long way to unifying the Orthodox Church countries.
Olmy Olm says
None of the 4 countries is Orthodox. Slovakia is strongly Catholic, Poland even more so. Czechs are largely atheist. Hungary has a mix of Catholics, Protestants and atheists.

THE REST OF THE WESTERN EUROPEANS ARE DESPONDENT & HAVE GIVEN IN & ARE SLOWLY SLIDING DOWN TO BECOME ISLAMIC STATES COMPLETE WITH SHARIA !
THERE IS NOT ONE SPARK OF WILL TO FIGHT BACK THAT I CAN SEE FROM THE UK, FRANCE, HOLLAND, BELGIUM , GERMANY OR ANY SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRY !
THE 3 STATES LITHUANIA , LATVIA & ESTONIA WILL FIGHT BUT ARE VERY SMALL & THEIR BIGGEST ISSUE IS RUSSIA BUT THEY ARE VERY AWARE OF THE ISLAMIC THREATS !

The “lesson of Munich” for Great Britain and France was not to trust Herr Hitler, which might not have happened had the British and French leaders been less pusillanimous, and so desperate to avoid war. Not just Chamberlain and Daladier, but Lord Runciman of the Runciman Mission, whose mantra was “what we seek is a comprehensive and lasting peace.”(Jimmy Carter used the same words when he would talk about the Arab-Israeli conflict, not realizing — not that he would care — that Jihad is forever).
The Czechs learned a different lesson from Munich: don’t entrust your country’s security to anyone else. Having endured both Nazis and Communists, why would the Czechs now want to admit into their midst the carriers of a third totalitarianism, one that has lasted for 1400 years, just because the E.U., stuck on its high horse, says it must?

The ordinary French were more concerned with how they could fleece the German occupiers and make money out of them than in regaining their independence and sovereignty as a free nation. They left that to the British and Americans. That is why they now hate us so much.

If these 4 countries do not allow Muslim Immigration, but reasonably comparable European countries do, that will give researchers interesting material to compare these 2 sorts of countries and the consequences of their policies.
And already we know that Japan, South Korea and Taiwan also shun too much Muslim immigration.
So they can be compared with massive Muslim-immigration-allowing countries too.
That’s good, I think. When the influence of the Muslim immigrants is on aggregate negative, in the Islam-allowing countries, compared to the absence of that influence in Islam-prohibiting countries,
and we can tie this to Islam, their ideology, because of it’s contradiction with and hostility to the Western Democratic Ideology, then there is an evidence-base for protecting our own ideology and societal system against theirs.
And why not; they are free to protect their societies from an “invasion” from our side, are n’t they?
To me it seems fair that followers of 2 ideologies, both proud of it, disagree and proceed separately, in 2 sorts of nations, keeping their own societal system safe.
Demsci says
We can also point out to Muslims in our countries, that when big parts of them do not integrate and on aggregate cause problems and high societal costs, which demonstrably bdoes not occur in Muslim-immigration countries,
That it is then only reasonable to not let in more Muslims in our countries because of this failure of resident Muslims to integrate and contribute well.
But all of this hinges upon the legal possibility to at least mildly, carefully formulated, with good reasons,
DISCRIMINATE people on ground of RELIGION, or ideology.
Race is an accident of birth, but religion/ ideology, for people coming into or residing in a Democratic country, that is a CHOICE and one people should be held accountable for.
And by now, many of us KNOW the Islamic ideology! As we are supposed to know and appreciate and defend our own “tolerant democratic ideology.” And the contradictions between the 2 ideologies.
Demsci says
Correction,
Which demonstrably does not occur in Muslim-immigration BAN countries.
Demsci says
Anyway, when Geert Wilders in Holland (and Pim Fortuyn before him) in the past proposed limiting specifically Muslim immigration, as opposed to limiting all immigration, he and we were told that this was completely impossible! Unlawful!
Discrimination on the basis of religion is expressly prohibited by law and forbidden by the EU in Brussels. Politicians accused Wilders of “never coming with solutions, only with impossible proposals”.
But now, incredibly, PRIME MINISTERS of countries propose the same thing. Awesome!

You suppose wrong, Czech R. has all that in the same degree as other EU states. What it lacks is masses of susceptible citizens. Czechs are experienced, after having endured the Bolsheviks, they don’t just fall for more propaganda.
Sobotka, btw, only pays lip service to what he knows are prevailing attitudes; otherwise, he’s just another political prostitute. Parliamentary elections are around the corner; he’s fishing for votes, but it’s too late for him and his soc-dem party. I’m sure, if we inspected his utterances from years back, we’d find a lot of incriminating, servile opinions re political correctness, human-rightism, refugee-filia, etc. from this russophobic chameleon.
