Twitter is evil. It lets stand open death threats against me. It censors content to suit Iran’s Islamic authorities. It has flagged as “hateful” tweets stating the fact that Islam is not a religion of peace and reporting accurately about anti-Semitic statements by an imam. It has let Islamic State accounts stand while banning those of people who report terrorists. It has shadowbanned my account, preventing thousands of readers from seeing Jihad Watch posts.
Twitter, like the other social media giants, should be broken up using anti-trust laws. It is an increasingly fascist platform that ruthlessly clamps down on voices that dare to dissent from the Leftist agenda.
“Former Muslim, Anti-FGM Campaigner Shazia Hobbs Suspended from Twitter,” by Oliver JJ Lane, Breitbart, September 4, 2017:
A Muslim apostate and high profile campaigner against both female genital mutilation (FGM) and forced marriage has been suspended from micro-blogging platform Twitter, amidst a wider crackdown on right wing voices on the website, and other online platforms like Facebook.
Twitter users noticed the prolific writer and campaigner had vanished from the platform Friday. Hobbs had previously spoken at the Unite Against Hate ‘Gays Against Sharia’ march in Manchester, where she spoke out against Muslim rape gangs preying on young white girls.
Hobbs turned away from Islam after escaping an arranged marriage with a physically abusive husband she had been forced into aged 18.
Speaking to Breitbart London, Ms. Hobbs confirmed she has been suspended indefinitely.
“It’s absolutely disgusting,” she told the website. “There was no reason given. Twitter would not tell me what tweets were in violation of their rules. They said it was because of ‘harassment’.
“All I tweet about is the rape of Pakistani children by Pakistani men,” she said.
She appealed directly to Twitter which has so far rejected her petition, and condemned the platform for shutting down a voice raising awareness of child sexual abuse in Pakistani British communities.
“No one speaks out against the rape of Pakistani children,” she said.
Suspended for so-called harassment, Ms. Hobbs told Breitbart London that she is frequently called “racist” and accused of being “full of hate” for calling for the jailing of parents who subject their daughters to genital mutilation.
“I get the biggest amount of hate from Pakistani men and ‘feminazis’ who tell me I’m ‘fueling the far right’.
“I’m trying to put a stop to these harmful practices. I’ve had more love and acceptance from the so-called ‘far right’ than from the Pakistani community,” she asserted….

Time to regulate twitter google and facebook as monopolies. Enough of the leftist/islamonazi alliance taking over things and using them to destory freedom.

An excellent idea. Unfortunately these scumbags have the politicians in their pockets with millions in contributions, so they won’t be passing any laws soon. It’s mind boggling to see a religion (so called) be supported and defended. A religion that commands its followers to rape babies and little girls, torture and kill anyone who does not agree with them. The inmates are running the asylum for sure.

yup fine them for obstructing free and non violent speech and violating human rights
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
What an odd Breitbart report that is. It fails to state the forename of the person it focuses on, whom it calls “Ms. Hobbs”. And yet the headline contains her forename, Shazia. How did the headline writer learn of this fact, and why did the reporter, one Oliver JJ Lane, not inform his readers of Ms. Hobbs’s forename? (Possible he did, but that important fact got edited out.)
Hypothesis: Breitbart reports do not follow the basic journalistic checklist of Who-What-When-Why-Where-How.
gravenimage says
Mark, there is nothing odd about this at all. News reports are often abbreviated by their very nature. There is no reason for you to doubt this woman’s name. Here is another article about her, with pictures:
“Shazia Hobbs: Forced to marry and violently abused under Sharia – in the UK!”
http://marias.org.uk/shazia-hobbs-forced-to-marry-and-violently-abused-under-sharia-in-the-uk/
I’m not sure why you would consider this inaccurate to begin with.

If you read the Wall Street Journal, any reference to a name after the initial full name, is “Mr.” this or “Miss” that.
Mark Spahn (West Seneca, NY) says
Hello gravenimage, Was I really so unclear in stating what my objection was? It is not that I doubt what Ms. Hobbs’s forename is, but that the reporter never stated it.
And hello Greyhound Fancier, Yes, it is normal to refer to someone with a surname “after the initial full name”. But in this case, the reporter never stated her full name. I consider this a lapse in proper journalism. (But as I say, the fault may lie with the editor for deleting basic information from the reporter’s account.)
gravenimage says
Yes–it may have been the edit.

How it ever came to it? While so called “conservatives” spent their time (mostly) in churches and synagogues, reading their Bible, doing all charity work and praying, the “smart” leftists and computer “experts” took over educational institutions, government bureaucracy, justice system, even the “big” business (most of owners and CEOs being corrupted and utterly rotten by range of the moment “pragmatism”), and thus they now virtually control all high-tech media, including the Twitter, Facebook and others. Going after them using so called “anti-trust” laws is not a solution. Anti-trust laws effectively stale and all but destroyed capitalism system in America. Disbanding mixed economy system and re-instituting freedom would do the job. No more welfare state for corporations big and small, no more political pull for them to bribe the system!

I think you have the right idea. Using the government to focus on the content of the communication is like “hair of the dog that bit you”. In other words, monopolies (which Twitter is not) exist through government-protected markets.
Unfortunately, there’s more to the problem. As you may be aware, Obama offloaded the ownership of the right to assign internet domain names from the government, where free speech and content-neutral enforcement rules have teeth, to a global NGO, ICANN. Thus, in a year, or 4 years or whenever (leftists are persistent) conservative websites, those that survive, will simply have their domains pulled and no additional sites will be issued. And US law and constitutional guarantees will not apply. This is one of the most pernicious acts of a rabidly anti-American administration.
Google, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube…all are hugely successful oligarchic organizations: they control a large part of the market, but not the whole market, which means the term monopoly does not apply to them. Under US law, monopolies are not illegal, but monopolistic behaviors are. In other words, if organizations with a lion’s share of the market act to restrain trade or block market entrance to competitors, or arrange payments to block competition, they are liable under anti-trust provisions.
I think the large technology companies might very well be liable under restraint-of-trade provisions. They also might be liable for arbitrarily ending profitable sponsorships for conservative points of view.
But, there is an angle. The large companies have a very real fear of government lawsuits based on affirmative action, gender discrimination, workplace harassment, and hostile workplace regulations. One result of very vague legal requirements is you can ALWAYS be pulled into court for expensive federal and state violations that cost millions to defend and have no clear way of being disproven.
I’m half convinced that what really motivated Google to terminate James Damore was not horror at hearing his point of view, but horror at the thought of all the hostile workplace lawsuits to be filed by snowflake-females claiming to be equal to men, who claimed harassment at the prospect of sharing an office with someone who thought there were genetic differences between men and women.
So, I agree with you that the path to more access for conservative, and alt-right, and nationalist viewpoints is actually less government interference in the marketplace, rather than more.

As much as the case of the bakers being forced to bake for a group they dislike was unjust, Google, FB, Twitter, etal, should perhaps be forced to provide services to groups with whom they hold political differences. They are, after all businesses which should provide services to all comers. Or at least i think that was the belief of Google, FB, Twitter, etal, when someone else’s ox was gored.
What’s good for the goose, is good for the gander.
gravenimage says
Agreed, Voytek and Ronald.
Guy Forester says
Unfortunately, the US got into the anti-trust business when several big companies decided that competition was hurting profits. So, it became illegal for companies to conspire together to fix prices, protect markets, or take out competitors by cut throat competition (drop your prices so low that the competitor cannot match them and goes out of business because you are selling something for less than it costs to make and market it). Unfortunately, we have seen mega mergers, acquisitions, and similar gimmicks defeat the intended purposes.
I wish there was an easy fix to this, but I doubt there is. The first step would be taking control back from ICANN and finding a better way to keep internet access open. Open competition is a good thing.

The problem is corporate patronage. If it is in their interest to follow the agenda guide of petro-dollar patrons, then they will follow the rules of money. Money is power, and principle is set aside. George Soros receives billions in offshore accounts to run his NGO trafficking ships full of Muslim invaders. He donates to the SPLC with certain provisions to add critics of Islam to “hate” lists. His value to his patrons are three-fold. He effectively and professionally conceals his source of capital. He is amoral and only values money and power, His “philanthropic” agendas are by design intended to destroy us by our own hand, and they are very effective. The slander organizations he funds are quite effective in curtailing free speech, especially when it comes to criticism of Islam.Twitter Google and Facebook need money and the petrodollar sheiks are a very reliable source. But they have an agenda.
Guy Forester says
I agree, you need to follow the money. Who owns stock, who is on the board of directors? if it is privately owned, who are the investors? Unfortunately, depending upon where the corporation is set up, much of that info may not be available to the general public. I suspect that certain prominent family members from certain oil rich countries are investors, own stock, sit on boards, etc.

Guy Forester says
Well, you really cannot have someone with facts and real life experience telling the truth and deflating the hot air balloon inflated by the falsehoods of the religion we dare not name or their supporters on the left.
Again, follow the money. You need to look at who donates to or otherwise pays the bills for the shills.

I think PayPal’s reinstallment og Jihadwatch as user could point to an effective strategi. It may very well be the case that people skeptical of mass emigration outnumbers the politically correct fanatics all over the western world, so for a firm depending on consumer’s goodwill there really shouldn’t be any point in just trying to please the latter. I realize that some of the firms discussed here enjoy a semi monopoly status but i still think that a bad reputation and the possibility of consumer’s boycotts might have an inpact on their decisionmaking. What about if somebody tried to organisaze the defenders of free speech as consumers? Some web pages, groups or mailing lists didicated to pointing out the firms engaged in censorship could make a difference.

All these social media platforms have succumbed to the pogroms of the islamonazi’s and other agendas of the left. I had one facebook account that had also been banned and I just came back under a new name. All of my accounts under aliases anyway. I have no use for these platforms otherwise. And there is no freedom of speech anyway, so what are they good for?! The government just has another way to spy on us, one more method of surveillance. I have written them off a long time ago, I am able to use one fb account just to get the word out and warn people where possible, that is the only purpose it serves.

No other world religion truly cares if you wish to leave it.
Except islam.
For those who wish to leave islam..
You might be fed up with religious tyranny and become an atheist.
That is fair enough. You most certainly do not need religion to be morally good.
OR
You might still have a strong belief:you don’t necessarily have to give up God as such.
But you would have to seriously, seriously,UPGRADE from allah to God.
They are not the same!!!
allah with his silly 99 names versus the Alpha and Omega:it is no contest.
What God requires is NOT outward displays of religious piety;that is human thinking.
Pray and fast all you like;so what?Do you think God will be impressed?
What God requires is that you do your best to live a good moral life in accordance with His Commandments. That’s it.You don’t have to be pious or holy because anybody can put on a show of false piety.
What matters for any soul of any religion or none in the end is the willingness to repent.
And it is the Spirit, not the flesh that counts.Religious zealots are not the best people
to follow!
God exists for ALL mankind(but allah only cares about muslims)
God does not discriminate(unlike allah with his virulent anti-Semitism)
God does not delight in sending anyone to hell(unlike allah..)
God is available in ALL languages(unlike allah who, ludicrously, only speaks Arabic)
You see,God is considerably more advanced, tolerant, loving and reasonable than allah.
Even if you are an atheist (like I was) you simply must see the enormous difference between God and allah and you must notice the ENORMOUS HERD OF ELEPHANTS IN THE ROOM OF islam.
Carolyne says
God exists because he was invented by men to control the general population with threats of dire consequences if you do not obey his laws, invented by the same men.
Noel says
Carolyne, you disappoint me. Surely you know by now that this site is a platform to warn about the danger and lies inherent in Islam. It is not a platform for knocking people’s beliefs. Atheists and Christians must stick together to warn the world of Islamic totalitarianism. Divided we fall.
