Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Pope Francis: Concern for “cultural identity” doesn’t justify opposition to mass Muslim migration

Sep 22, 2017 10:42 am By Robert Spencer

“I won’t hide my concern in the face of the signs of intolerance, discrimination and xenophobia that have arisen in different regions of Europe, often fueled by reticence and fear of the other, the one who is different, the foreigner.”

Maybe people have “reticence and fear of the other” because of “the other’s” tendency to perpetrate jihad massacres, and to boast of his imminent conquest of Europe. The Pope, by portraying opposition to the Muslim migrant influx as a moral issue and trying to shame people out of that opposition, is helping to expose the non-Muslim people of Europe, and their children and children’s children, to a future full of misery and bloodshed. Is that really what a Christian leader should be doing?

“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)

“Pope Francis Says Concern for ‘Cultural Identity’ Doesn’t Justify Opposition to Mass Migration,” by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart, September 22, 2017:

Pope Francis spoke out strongly Friday in favor of welcoming more migrants throughout Europe, telling his hearers to beware of the “intolerance, discrimination and xenophobia” that have sprung up around the continent.

In his audience with the European national directors of the Church’s pastoral work with migrants here for a meeting sponsored by the Council of Episcopal Conferences of Europe (CCEE), the Pope recognized the consternation caused by the “massive migrant flows” in Europe that have “thrown into crisis migratory policies held up to now.”

At the same time, Francis rejected national immigration policies designed to protect the cultural and religious identities of the peoples of Europe.

“I won’t hide my concern in the face of the signs of intolerance, discrimination and xenophobia that have arisen in different regions of Europe,” the pontiff said, which are “often fueled by reticence and fear of the other, the one who is different, the foreigner.”

“I am worried still more by the sad awareness that our Catholic communities in Europe are not exempt from these reactions of defensiveness and rejection, justified by an unspecified ‘moral duty’ to conserve one’s original cultural and religious identity,” he said.

A report this summer by the Centro Machiavelli found that Europe’s immigration crisis is causing an ‘unprecedented’ shift in Italy’s demographics.

As of last January, Italy had over five million foreigners living as residents, a growth of a remarkable 25 percent relative to 2012 and a full 270 percent over 2002. At that time, foreigners made up just 2.38 percent of the population while fifteen years later the figure has nearly trebled to 8.33 percent of the population.

If current trends continue, the report states, by 2065, first- and second-generation immigrants will exceed 22 million persons, or more than 40 percent of Italy’s total population.

In his address Friday, Francis appealed to the Church’s own history of missionary work among different cultures, as well as the universality of its mission in the world.

“The Church has spread through every continent thanks to the ‘migration’ of so many missionaries who were convinced of the universality of the message of salvation in Jesus Christ, destined for the men and women of every culture,” he said.

“Temptations to exclusiveness and cultural entrenchment have not been wanting in the history of the Church,” the Pope continued, “but the Holy Spirit has always helped us to overcome them, guaranteeing a constant openness toward the other, considered as a concrete possibility of growth and enrichment.”

Pope Francis said he was convinced that “the Holy Spirit will help us to keep an attitude of trusting openness that will allow us to overcome every barrier and scale every wall.”

In his address, the Pope also suggested that Europeans’ trouble with migrants may be due in part to a lack of greater cohesion among European nations and an incomplete process of political unification.

“In my constant listening to the particular churches in Europe I have perceived a profound uneasiness in the face of the massive arrival of migrants and refugees,” Francis said. “This uneasiness must be recognized and understood in the light of a historical juncture characterized by an economic crisis that has left deep wounds. This uneasiness has been aggravated, moreover, by the scope and composition of the migrant flows, by a substantial lack of preparedness in the host countries and by frequently inadequate national and community policies.”

“But the uneasiness is also indicative of the limits in the process of European unification,” the pontiff continued, “of the obstacles faced by the concrete application of the universality of human rights, and of the walls encountered by the integral humanism that constitutes one of the most beautiful fruits of European civilization.”…

St. Marco d’Aviano, a Capuchin friar, is credited with motivating the Hapsburg king of Vienna to recognize that a Jihad against Christianity was under way and convicted the King to assembly an army. He is actually credited with saving Christianity from destruction at the hands of Islam. Glad Francis wasn’t around Vienna at that time. Francis is delusional regarding the gravity of the current Jihad against Christianity and Western Civilization.

      @Jan III Sobieski
Pope Francis cares little about the fact that the Muslims are following the Koran and not the laws of the country that they occupy. They rape, kill, injure, lie, cheat, etc. because the Koran tells them to do these horrible things. POPE FRANCIS SHOULD BE EVICTED AND BANNED WITH EVERY MUSLIM TO THE MIDDLE EAST DESERT TO LIVE IN TENTS AND CAVES AND THEN HE CAN WATCH THEM KILL, RAPE, LIE AND MAIM EACH OTHER..AND HE CAN USE HIS DIPLOMACY TO TRY TO CONVERT THEM! LOL…How would the pope react if it was his mother or sister that was raped or killed…bombed or knfed? We have had enough of this Communist Pope…The Catholic Church is being managed by St. Peter from Heaven as prophecy predicts.

John, I have a good acquaintance who continually tries to convince me of the superiority of the Catholic Church over the Protestant Church. With this utter fool of a Pope at the helm of the RC Church you’d think he’d be embarrassed and give it a break. The RC Church leaders, and this unfortunately includes Cardinal Burke who I thought would create a rebellion against this nincompoop Pope, don’t even possess the wisdom or courage to recognize and acknowledge what a raving fool, liar and ignoramous is this Pope and what a danger he is to the existence of the church. Who today, would seriously choose to convert to Catholicism with such a completely deranged dope running the show and other spineless senior clergy, Cardinals and Bishops, who don’t possess a fraction the courage of Martin Luther? Thankfully Robert Spencer is under no illusions.

At 40%, immigrants (Muslims), by 2065, there won’t be a Vatican as we know it. St. Peters Masjid, (kind of has a ring to it) , will be littered with trash and in disrepair as the nation sinks into poverty after the collapse of the tourist industry. The EU, unlikely to even survive, currently in trouble itself, won’t have enough spare money to subsidize Italy.

Perhaps the tourist business can be saved by being a vacation destination for Muslim countries. Tourist brochure: “Come and see the ruin of the failed society that did not worship Allah.”

This Pope acts as if he was raised watching Barney & Friends.

Jean, I think my Pope is a well intentioned Godly man. As a retired US Marine and practicing Catholic with experience in the Muslim world, the Holy Spirit speaks to me differently. In the end, there will be one flock and one Shepard and true globalismwill be achieved but the age of nationalism not yet a millennium old has a lot of life yet to go. To blankety exclude Muslims on our journey home is blanketly wrong. But, they are in massive need of a reformation as was Christianity about the time Nationalism was in its infancy. A movement that wishes to erase Christ’s message which radical Muslim extremism definitely does and unfortunately, many mainstream Muslims turn a blind eye to, can not be a part of mankinds journey home.

      Sep 25, 2017 at 9:54 pm

Bill, I feel Pope Francis is in a position where what more could he possibly say? His job is to preach acceptance, love etc! Your right. A true man of faith! ( Much different to Muslim clerics!) but it doesn’t work and has nothing at all to do with us as Europeans! Nor are we to blame in any way! As people, as a race, we are nothing alike. We are exact opposites to EACHOTHER! Pope Francis is stating facts , then ignoring others! Yes the church migrated to every continent and then Arabs and Islam came! Look at the Arabs in Africa , Ottoman Empire, the moors, look what happened in Lebanon , that good Christian love letting all the poor palestian refuges come in so they could join forces with THWRE sunni brothers, in Burma , the Phillipines , in Cyprus , Bosnia , Thailand , the ex soviet republics , what they do to Christian minorities in Egypt , Iraq etc! Look at Kosovo! I’m a proud catholic but his views on Muslim migration into Europe and the west are wrong! MOSQUES HAVE NO PLACE ON EUROPEAN LAND , JUST LIKE YOU CAN NEVER BE A EUROPEAN MUSLIM, there’s no such thing! Europeans have the right to be atheist or believe but be anti church but not Islam. What was the catholic church’s view when Turks where mass murdering Greeks in Cyprus , burning churches , raping our women, or when Muslim Albanians becoming a majority in Serbian land cause they have 6-7 children each, they take up arms and demand independence in Kosovo! AND COUNTRIES LIKE AMERICA AND THE UK SUPPORT THIS TYPE OF MUSLIM EXPANSION! What if Italy was to experience was Serbia has,Greece, Cyprus! Muslims became the majority in Rome and took up arms to declare independence , would the Vatican be still preaching acceptance? Or will it yet again be our fault? Us the people! I want the head of my church to yes be preaching love but at the same time not being afraid to say how it is! Not feel the need to bring up Christian extremists when somebody mentions Muslim extremists, not bring in Muslim children over Christian children to stay at the Vatican, and say the truth when it comes to our religions, Mohammed is a fake prophet who raped under age girls, no prophet would mass murder innocent people or marry a young girl! I always wonder how things would be like if orthdoxy, Catholicism and Protestantism were under one church, large amounts of European men hadn’t become so liberal , left leaning , would these Africans and Muslims be able to just stroll right into Europe and create there own parallel societies while taking our tax paying dollars! In European and countries in the west where the left constantly every chance they get , disses Christianity and the church and scientists call anything Christianity a myth , calls out the church all all there beliefs and traditions which they’ve had for centuries yet at the same time promoting Islam , Muslims , multiculturalism! All over Europe and the west we have Muslim associations , Muslims in parliament , Muslim mayors, which together preach there victimhood crap, scream islamophobia at the drop of the hat, then get screen time, news time, debate time , media time, demand Local swimming pools are reserved on certain days for only Muslim women , demand no alcohol , we watch our restaurants and fast food chains turn halal to please the Muslim, we watch as they question our cultures , our history and are applauded for it , but when it’s returned, all you hear is RACIST ISLAMOPHOBE FASCIST NAZI! It’s 5am and you hear Islam call to prayer in the middle of London, you visit France as a tourist and then your warned not to go to certain places areas, because it’s not French anymore, you see Turkish rallies on German soil, yoi see Muslims demanding a mosque be built in the middle of Athens, ATHENS , a country which was under Turk controls for 400 years , While our church in CONSTANTINOPLE gets slowly converted into a mosque every day, being labeled a racist because your against boats of Muslims coming into your country illegally, Christians are fleeing the Middle East at the same time Muslims are being invited , by a east Germany communist slut , no surprise , having Jews rabbis and associations from around Europe preaching anti racism, Europe shouldn’t make another mistake , wanting Muslims to come Europe , it’s there right etc WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, preaching a ISRAEL FOR THE JEWS stance, HERE YOU HAVE MUSLIMS AND CERTAIN JEWS CALLING EUROPEANS RACIST , showing these photos of poor kids crying and the innocent families to push there propaganda, while in there own backyard they persecute Christians, mass murdered Kurds, dropping a bomb on a block to kill 1 terrorist and takes 30 civilians with them .. the hypocrisy is ridiculous! How did we get find ourselves being giving orders and accused of every crime imaginable in our own backyard! Labeled racist for being proud of our heritage, this political correctness cancer in our country ,
Where Christian schools deny people from attending there school due to religious beliefs and stating no other religions attire can be worn at this school! And they get taken to court, told they must except the student and there you have a woman telling me how in today’s day in age, it’s ridiculous that they wouldn’t let him in! ITS A CHRISTIAN SCHOOL, A CHRISTIAN COUNTRY , they should be told if you don’t accept the rules , go to another school instead of bending over backwards for minorities! Removing crucifixes because it offends people, IF MY CRUCIFIX OFFENDS YOU GET THE FUCK OUT OF OUR COUNTRY! Go back to Sudan or Iran! Removing Christmas lights and trees to be more inclusive, you can celebrate your pretend fast during Ramadan , yet we have to start removing our celebrations so you don’t get offended! Where offended when we go to the shops and see five women in a burqa on a 50 degree day , covered from head to toe, while there husbands are in singlets and shorts , I’m disgusted when I drive threw suburbs and all I see is NO ALCOHOL ALOUD HALAL CERT STICKERS HIJAB BURQA CLOTHING STORES MOSQUES… ALL THIS WHILE THERE DOING TERRORIST ATTACKS IN OUR COUNTRIES! THIS COMMUNIST ANTI CHRISTIAN, PRO GAY, PRO FEMINISM , PRO MULTICULTRIALISM ,PROGRESSIVE ,MUSLIM RIGHTS ,ANTI FAMILY ,EUROPEAN GUILT FROM COLONIAL TIMES AND TWO WORLD WARS, WILL BE THE DEATH OF EUROPE!

We’re at fault . We were to scared, had secret commies in power who didn’t want to stop any of it and as quick as we blink, our hole continent changed!

      Fuck Islam.

In Luke 11:11-12 Jesus asks, 11 “If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

The Pope is mistaking a stone for bread, a snake for a fish and a scorpion for an egg.

Likewise, there is a story of St. Francis of Assisi and the wolf of Gubbio.

    See this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k8227Vy4d28

It is a heartwarming story of love and tolerance; however, it is important to remember that the story concerns a single wolf who honored a promise to return to the people the love and kindness shown to him. Pope Francis, unlike St. Francis, has received no such promise from the countless hungry wolves he is inviting to roam among his people. Neither did the wolf in the story leave behind numerous hungry cubs to ravage the town after the wolf was gone.

Pope Francis is no St. Francis and neither is this Pope being a good father to his children if he does not insure that the things he gives his children will not ultimately destroy them.

you are required to do your homework before you speak.A simple check of the facts that Àllah is a master

    13. “First of all, it is important to remember the principle that immigrants must always be treated with the respect due to the dignity of every human person. In the matter of controlling the influx of immigrants, the consideration which should rightly be given to the common good should not ignore this principle. The challenge is to combine the welcome due to every human being, especially when in need, with a reckoning of what is necessary for both the local inhabitants and the new arrivals to live a dignified and peaceful life. The cultural practices which immigrants bring with them should be respected and accepted, as long as they do not contravene either the universal ethical values inherent in the natural law or fundamental human rights.”

Respect for cultures and the “cultural profile”
    of different regions

“14. It is a much more difficult thing to determine the extent to which immigrants are entitled to public legal recognition of the particular customs of their culture, which may not be readily compatible with the customs of the majority of citizens. The solution to this question, within a climate of genuine openness, calls for a realistic evaluation of the common good at any given time in history and in any given place and social context.”

I am Polish and Indian. We need another Polish pope or a pope from Central Europe who remembers what life was like under communism and will not be influenced by political correctness. I am not a Roman Catholic, but being raised in and now living again back in Poland, I see all the good that the Church has done for this country. When Pope Francis was in Poland last year, he criticized the Polish R.C. clergy for not wanting Muslim migrants in our country. At a closed door meeting, the clergymen must have listened to him politely and told him that Poland took in over one million Ukrainians, some who were running from the war in the Eastern Ukraine. All of these newcomers in Poland work, none are on welfare and they then send money back to their families in the Ukraine. When I listen to high clergymen on Polish television, they all repeat the same thing: “We should be helping people in their own countries get back to living normal lives.” And the Polish Roman Catholic Church is doing exactly that through Caritas Poland which helps people in Syria. Like many Poles, I am tired of my country being overrun by hoards of people who want to kill us. We all see what is happening in Western Europe and as a nation we have said “No,thank you”, to rape, murder and terror attacks. During WWII Poland lost almost 1/3 of its citizens, of which, six million was killed by Germans and another five and half million were killed by Russians. We have strong leaders both in the Polish Roman Catholic Church and in the present Polish Government. who are protecting us from further harm. Pope John Paul II freed us from Soviet domination and for the life of me and of all other Poles, we will never be invaded again. Pope Francis can preach all he wants about taking in Muslim refugees, but we as Poles, will listen to him with respect, but we will do what is best for our safety and for the continuation of the Polish state.

Or at least they SHOULD know(since Fatima 1917):that “the smoke of satan”(Pope Paul VI’s words)had entered the RCC.

    {He was referring to the RCC Church Administrators:not the Catholic belief system itself}

And that it would be run by ecclesiastical freemasons who would cause a great apostasy in Catholicism under a false papacy. That’s what Fatima 1917 predicted.
