Which mosques in Wales host Bible studies? Right, none. Which are accused of being “anti-Christian”? Right, none.
“Church denies being ‘anti-Muslim’ after group barred from using Caernarfon hall for Koran studies,” by Hywel Trewyn, Daily Post, September 2, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A Christian church has been accused of a “lack of unity” after it rejected a Muslim group’s bid to hold Koran studies in its hall.
A group of Muslims wanted to use the Feed My Lambs church hall – a former infant school – for “Koran and cultural studies”, and they had already used it twice.
But after initially being allowed to hire the space, their cheque for hiring it again was returned to them.
Today, the Church in Wales said the hall – which was part-funded by Heritage Lottery money – was available for “secular” activities.
But Kenny Khan, the councillor representing the Muslim group – said the decision was disappointing and seemed like a backwards step.
‘I was very clear that they were Muslims’
He added: “It was all explained clearly to the church that it was for religious and cultural classes.
“I was very clear that they were Muslims. There was no ambiguity.”
Three days after their first meeting, Cllr Khan received a phone call from Llanbeblig Rector, the Reverend Roger Donaldson who, although not party to the arrangement, said there had been “a misunderstanding” and that they couldn’t accept the cheque for £320, which was sent to Llanbeblig Parochial Church Council.
Mr Khan – who is not Muslim himself – added: “Christians and Muslims joined together in Bangor after the Manchester bombing.
“The church knew it was going to be used for cultural classes.
“Two men from the church came into the hall to collect the cheque and actually saw the congregation praying on their mats.
“These people pay local taxes. The hall has been Lottery-funded and is for the use of the community. They’ve accepted the cheque and something has happened.”
But Rev Donaldson told the Daily Post there had been a “misunderstanding”, and that it was initially thought the group were looking to use the hall for bible studies.
He said: “The understanding was they were going to hold ‘bible readings’.
“We are not against Islam; no way. Everybody has the right to worship as they please.
“We are not against colour or race. It was just not possible. There has been a breakdown in our public relations.”
In a further statement issued today by the Church in Wales, Reverend Donaldson said: “Feed My Lambs is used for Christian worship and is considered to be a place of worship….

I am a Christian. I am anti hatred, anti murder, anti misogyny, anti sharia – hey, that makes me anti Islam. I am not in the least bit apologetic for that. To be criticised for that is like complaining that a Jew is anti Nazi. I don’t hate Muslims but I sure detest everything that Islam stands for.

Poor muslims were again the victims being refused by a Christian church. Why don’t you put the message on the church gate:
We are killing, raping, torturing, beheading, burning, flogging etc. thousands of Christians, but give us your church to give the Qur’an lessons in, and what happened, we were refused, Islamophobes again, fascists, etc. Again we are victimised again. Poor people.
I would think it is not a good idea to raise the next generation in the religion of peace. Ans especially not in a church. You have got enough mosques I would think. Utterly disgusting !!!
Rev. Donaldson, I praise you that at least you dared to say something at least, thank you

Encourage the good reverend to get – and read – Rev Dr Mark Durie’s “The Third Choice: Islam, Dhimmitude and Freedom”, *and* ex-Muslim now-Christian Sam Solomon’s “Al Hijra: The Islamic Doctrine of Immigration”. Then he will know just how sinister was this Muslim infiltration of a parish hall and its use for Muslim ‘prayers’… for a space thus used, is in effect *claimed for Islam*.

Refusing to turn a church into a mosque. The nerve.

Here is a solution to the problem:
The Muslim group in question can hold its Quranic studies in the local mosque.
Guy Forester says
This will not end well.
Number one lesson: If you are from any religion other than Islam, do NOT under any circumstances use taxpayer money to fund any project in your house of worship or related buildings (not even a toilet) in any manner for any purpose. PERIOD. Once you accept a government subsidy of any kind, you will find that you will lose final say and control of your property.
Also, beware and vet carefully any donations from trusts or charitable foundations until you have a really good attorney read ALL the fine print and make sure you have not opened your doors to something you cannot support.
Meanwhile, do not expect any Mosque or related buildings to be available to you, even if your tax money helps support it.

Bingo!

The best policy is to keep government out of religion and religion out of government. Individual freedom of worship without government interference or promotion is best, with very few exceptions.

The Hagia Sophia originally was a Christian church. When the Muslims took the city they converted the church into a mosque, kind of like what they want to do to the Feed My Lambs church in Wales.

Silly Muslims. They know how to use the Internet to find the latest méthode du jour for attacking infidels. But they sometimes forget to use Google Maps. Maybe that’s because it’s so easy for them to carry a map of the world in their heads? Over here is Dar al-Islam and over their is Dar al-Harb.
But if they’d just taken two minutes, they would have seen that the Bangor Islamic Centre is just 15km up the road. It looks like the Mosque is working on an expansion, but I’m sure the new space is already spoken for by Christian Bible study groups, so it’s understandable that the Muslims would have to seek space among the non-believers (which makes sense for only one reason).
Also, if you’re planning to request to use the mosque for Christian Bible study, you might want to review their policy for visitors:
“…please give us as much detail about your preferred time and date for the visit and how many people in your group. Also, we humbly ask that during the visit you dress and behave with the respect due to a house of God.”
I’m sure that the Christians understood why the Muslims would have been unable to reciprocate in showing respect to their religion, values or house of worship. If they didn’t, the UK government is probably standing ready to help them adjust their beliefs and values, speech and actions.

It doesn’t matter how close a Mosque is–they still want to take over this Church. Taking over churches is a form of Muslim supremacism.

gravenimage,
Thanks for making sure that my comment about the proximity to a mosque wasn’t misinterpreted as a red herring. I was intending to show that there was no logically benign reason for Muslims to want to use the church for “Quran studies”. I’m glad that people will be able to see the blunt truth of your comment below mine.
Thank you again.

Thanks, ItsReallyQuiteClear. Good point about the proximity of the Bangor Islamic Centre–thanks for that information. I’m sure these Mohammedans hope that most people would not know that, and would assume the poor fellows have nowhere to study the Qur’an.

Quite a few discrepancies in the story of awful woe.
*The article says the Muslim group had used the hall twice. Khan says once.
*The article says “for religious and cultural classes”, but also says it was for “Koran” studies.
*Khan says “for prayers”, but also says “for cultural studies”.
*During the first (maybe second) “religious and cultural classes, *two men from the churdh actually saw the congregation praying on their mats.”
Fishy.

Not many have attained this level of discipleship.
Most have ridden in a velvet stagecoach with gold trim in ‘clergyland’ and have been purchased by the benefits that they can’t see a way to live without now. Hmmm… God or money, which will they choose? Jesus said they would love one and hate the other…. hmmm!

It’s funded by the lottery, but it’s church property.
Implying that as Muslims they have a right to use church property, as a mosque essentially. As if, by the national lottery funding the restoration work, meant they somehow have ownership. Then bringing up the ‘unity’ in the aftermath of the Muslim bombing of the Ariana Grande concert that blew up little kids, as a way to express disappointed when they were turned down. Is like the parable Jesus told, of the people who tried to sit at the head of the table, but are told to give up their place and sit at the bottom of the table, as they were not the guests of honor. To which Jesus concludes, those who humble themselves, shall be exalted and those who exalt themselves, shall be humbled.
Jesus was never a pushover, nor was he indecisive. Time the Christian church got back to that!!
This Welsch church told a Muslim prayer group they couldn’t use their premises for religious purposes ~ with respect!

Cllr Kenny Khan…”The church knew it was going to be used for cultural classes.”
Studying Shakespeare would be ‘cultural.
Studying poetry would be ‘cultural’.
Studying local history would be ‘cultural’.
Studying art, music, drama or dance would be ‘cultural’.
Studying flower arranging would be ‘cultural’.
Studying Philosophy would be ‘cultural’.
Studying comparative religions might be ‘cultural’.
Studying the Qu’ran specifically is RELIGIOUS, not ‘cultural’. Furthermore this is a religion that openly preaches against the teachings of the religious organisation that owns the premises and the moral and ethical standards of the country, and generally has a very poor track-record in the UK and elsewhere.
Would it be expected that the UK Tory Party would host a conference for communists in one of their branches? Or Alcoholics Anonymous hold their meetings in the saloon bar of a pub? Hardly!
This Cllr Khan is apparently not a muslim, but his misuse of the word ‘cultural’ suggests either a dubious grasp of the English language or a deliberate attempt to mislead the church authorities – and the latter seems very islamic! In any case, why shouldn’t the church authorities be against islam or anything to do with islam if this so-called ‘faith’ offends them and what they stand for? It’s their right in a free society! I presume we still do have a ‘free society’?

So will muslims be allowing their mosques to be used by Christians,Jews,Hindus,Buddhists etc as places for studying their religious scriptures?
Of course not:islam has a long and disgraceful history of appropriating Christian churches in their triumphalist pursuit of their “islam will rule the world” global caliphate.
They do not respect other religions;they want to overcome them with their moon god cult.
FYI says
“Feed my lambs” is a Christian scriptural reference to preaching the Gospel.
That would be lost on the muslims with their anti-Gospel.the koran, with its HUMAN voice.
“The koran and cultural studies”:what islamic nonsense!
They don’t respect any other culture.
“Feed my Lambs”;they would brutally slaughter them with their halal methods of cruelty to animals.
John A. Marre says
This is because the churches are being forced to cooperate with the ongoing suppression of Christianity. Like when the Nazis forced Jews to round up and kill other Jews.
Most Christians are Christians in name only. Most Muslims are on fire with their religion, believe in it, practice it to some extent, and are willing to do what it mandates to spread it throughout the world.
Richie says
This is a stealth way to destroy Christianity. This is already done, some hard left denominations such as the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalists have had Muslims speaks preach islam in their churches. They did so by choice, but elsewhere as is seen here Muslims want to force their doctrine into Christian churches
