Still not sure whether there were multiple shooters – and why on all the videos that l’ve seen there are no gun flashes from the Mandalay windows when he’s firing on ppl.

I watched the video. The former Marine and FBI agent is very well-spoken. However, I still have a problem accepting that LV was Jihad. Why would Paddock go to all this trouble and not even leave behind a piece of paper with “Allahu akbar” written on it crediting his ideology? Paddock left it wholly up to the Islamic State to take the credit? If he had converted to Islam as ISIS claims wouldn’t there be SOMETHING indicating his conversion? “Praise be to Allah” on a tape recording? A Quran lying around with dog-eared pages? No note, no recordings, no Quran, no nothing except his arsenal and the claims of ISIS. Guandolo says Paddock must have had training in weapons somewhere at sometime. Where??? When??? Were any bearded Jihadis noticed in or around Vegas? Did Paddock take any suspicious trips to the Middle East? I just can’t get past that he wouldn’t credit/praise Allah the bloodthirsty Islamic deity in some way.
The Moslems are thrilled because 58 more “Infidels” have been killed and will never reproduce. Meanwhile, the Mohammedan polygamists are over-populating like crazy. Spencer has articles about the Rohingya on JW. There are multitudes (as seen on the news). That’s all they do — over-populate and then demand access to other peoples’ countries as they’re “oppressed” and “marginalized.” I’ve never seen such parasites. Islam teaches them they’re entitled to the Infidels’ lands and goods. Why doesn’t the mainstream media ever report that?
2 comments. Paddock. Rohingya. Thanks for reading.

There are two mosques in Mesquite, Nevada, located on both sides of the major highway Paddocks’ last known residence was Mesquite Nevada. Mosques teach the Quran….the Quran, the doctrine obligates muslims to support jihad financially or to act. Our national security, as you may know, had a scrubbing of the words or adjectives of Islam and jihad. Muslims have another goal of protecting their religious doctrine, it is done by using deception or fibs so they can keep the title ‘religion of peace” which allows for religious protections. Since the President has taken office, the muslim community has been pushing back by trying to silence the facts of jihad and the dangers of refugee migration which is part of the non peaceful religion to increase the population of the soldiers of allah. Isis claims Paddock converted to Islam, what better candidate could there be than a white older male, with considerable income to align with the standard left agenda of white supremacist and look as if he had no connection to Islam. He may have wanted to escape to bring more jihad terror, but he was located, in sharia law to die as a martyr killing infidels is their highest honor. The will also say Islam does not allow suicide, but a martyr to die is essentially the same. Also many jihadist have money and are educated….so it could all fit…but the mental illness label works to to distance itself and protect the doctrine and the politics of the left protection of sanctuary cities. The most important goal of Islam is to keep the public ignorant and bring on the silencing of the facts of sharia law which they call slander and forever be able to call themselves victims instead of aggressors.

The idea Trump would withhold video of Paddock pledging allegiance to ISIS
is pretty far fetched. But buy Brain Force, lol.
Jack Diamond says
The shooter doesn’t have to make a claim if he’s left it to the Islamic State to make the claim, which they have, again and again. Paddock doesn’t seem like a guy who would tell you anything.
If this was jihad this is no “typical” Islamic-inspired killer. He is a smart, careful guy who is not going to leave any unintentional clues. If this was jihad, I expect ISIS is holding onto the “proof” for as long as it suits them, knowing the U.S. authorities will never come up with a coherent alternative explanation.
This guy had been living like a spy for a long, long time. He was good at it. He was cold and calculating and a control freak. If he ever read the al Qaeda manual (updated by ISIS) for how to conduct yourself as a jihadi among the infidels, it would have seemed second-nature for him {concealment incidentally calls for no visits to mosques, nothing overtly Islamic in dress or behavior–or reading material–that would raise any suspicions, certainly no beards on any jihadis running around Vegas}. And he was in the Middle East on numerous occasions.
It shouldn’t be that hard to disprove the ISIS claim if there is no substance.
But, there doesn’t seem much evidence for the sudden psychosis theory either, that something drove him over the top–gambling loses (no); losing his girlfriend (he is a cold fish and consorted with hookers when she was away); brain tumors, a weird reaction to valium. No, the length of time and degree of preparation planning this pretty much eliminates some sudden irrationality or passion as the motive.
If he was a psychotic waiting to happen, why did it never manifest itself before? Isn’t that unusual? Maybe he identified with his criminal father? But his father wasn’t a murderer. The political theory? Where is any evidence he was a fanatic Leftist? Did I miss it?
Even how he became a millionaire is not explained. He was a mailman, an accountant, an IRS agent.
He owned some tenement apartment buildings (how did he even afford that?) but where are the big real estate deals? Steve Wynn, whose casino he visited monthly for 11 years, described him as a “modest” gambler by their standards. But he became a millionaire playing video poker? Wynn also said Paddock never did or said anything remotely out of the ordinary, according to the hotel staff, other than that he never ordered a single drink of alcohol. He was a serious gambler. He was a control freak {even the S&M stuff alleged by a hotel prostitute reveal a control freak).
So, here we are with an investigation stalled and ISIS (maybe) holding all the cards.
Jack Diamond says
The hooker also said he talked about 9/11 being an inside job. A strange thing to bring up
under the circumstances, but since it involves Muslims, is something a great many Muslims believe–as well as, alas, a sizable kook contingent of non-Muslims, it gives a whiff of something malignant going on in his world view.
Carolyne says
Having gambled in numerous casinos, here and abroad, I can tell you that the only winners are the casinos. No one could become a multi-millionaire by gambling in a casino. Video poker is a slot machine game. I have, on occasion, been foolish enough to gamble a bit in the high stakes rooms, and the same thing goes.
I don’t think it is possible that Paddock got his money by gambling in a casino. His past employment would not have paid enough to make him all this money. It stands to reason that he acquired the money by other means, means which the government either does not know or is not telling us, likely the latter. Also, there is something wrong with his brother’s ranting. seems a bit over the top. At one point he said that “Maybe someone put on a ‘Steve suit’ ” and impersonated his brother.
Nevertheless, while I believe that it is extremely likely that this was an Islamic massacre, I haven’t seen any proof as yet. And, actually, if there is proof, the public will never be told about it by the government. All I have seen so far, including the Glazov video above, is speculation.

Savvy Kafir says
I’m still skeptical about this being a jihadi attack. I think the shooter would have made some sort of statement, somewhere, about his allegiance & motivation, if he did it for Islam.
In a way, it would be easier to accept & deal with, if this horrific mass shooting could be seen as one more (predictable, inevitable) attack, in Islam’s war on the world. But I think this guy was just a random lunatic.
JawsV says
Re your first paragraph that’s what I said above.
Angry Aussie says
Who says Paddock was even alive during the shooting? Why would he wire up surveillance cameras if he intended to suicide? Why didn’t he keep shooting and kill more? Why have we not seen a full corpse pic? How did he shoot himself, then prop a tripod open over his foot? Stinks of Islam to me.
WorkingClassPost says
JawsV,
The absence of any notes or videos is odd, but don’t most suicide shooters also post pictures and write-out their grievances, too?
So the question is this:-
If he did leave something to indicate his motive, then what motivation would government agencies be most likely to withhold from public scrutiny?
isntlam says
It’s a good analysis, but here are my problems with it:
If Paddock just converted to Islam out of the blue, then it sounds like he WAS mentally ill. What would have been his MOTIVE for converting to Islam? What is there in his HISTORY that inclined him to convert? He seemed to be kind of autistic. I heard a gambler say that Paddock’s gambling style is kind of autistic and attracts some autistic types.
Has anyone found anything on his hard drives that links to him Islam in any way? Has anyone found a koran or an ISIS flag in his home? Did he join a mosque? Did anything in his daily behavior change in recent months? Did he show any type of religious attitude?
Did he leave a note claiming responsibility for himself? Did he shout allahu akbar? I think a real jihadi would probably have done that.
Paddock does have a family history of violence and crime. Does that fit the profile of a convert? Maybe it’s just mental illness and violent genetics activated by some stress or trauma.
I’m always looking for the jihadi angle in acts of violence. John’s analysis is good, but I think it’s a little too circumstantial. ISIS makes the claim, but ISIS may be motivated by nothing but a lust for attention. This was a huge attack, so they feel they look better by claiming responsibility. The timing of their announcement for Muslims to avoid certain venues could be coincidental. And it’s a very, very broad announcement. I don’t see a strong indicator for jihadi violence in this attack yet.

Then maybe you think they are not this clever, do I do. They Isis or any islamic terror group is very skilled at deception when the heat is on, or they have someone in office who does not believe Islam is peaceful. Many jihadist are upper income, educated and piously believe in fighting for allah, against terrorism which they label as all non muslims, but most keep that secret.

I noted that on another website, an individual did her own search of easily locatable jihad attacks claimed by ISIS. She counted 50 with only 3 unsubstantiated.
I find the sudden shut down of any useful info from LEO spokespersons and MSM to be very interesting. Either something covered up or they are on to someone and do not want to spook them is my opinion.
The above mentioned attack on a casino in Manila, and now the involvement of a casino in LV seems to be following a pattern. Look at the previous night club, market, and concert attacks. These, just like the 911 attacks are economic warfare. How many people will now stop going to concerts or casinos?
I will try to track it down, but it seems that someone out there may have posted a video or some pictures of SP taking some firearms course, not sure where. As for the girlfriend, it would help to find out if she has a muslim background, and what province her family originally came from.
underbed cat says
Correction of comment hastily written….Then maybe you think they are not this clever to hide their beliefs and identity, I do. Isis or any other islamic terror group based on sharia law are very skilled at deception that is required from the Quran when the heat is on, when they have someone in office who does not believe Islam is peaceful. Many jihadist are upper income, educated and piously believe in fighting for allah, which they consider fighting
” against terrorism” and in case you don’t know that is all non muslims, but most keep that information silent to protect themselves and the doctrine, why would they lie to non muslims? Because for them speaking the truth is considered harming Islam and sharia law defines the truth as slander. Don’t underestimate their ability to deceive even political professionals as they are well supported to do so. What Americans must do to prevent sharia law from changing our constitution is to get even smarter.
billybob says
I have my own theory. The guy was a sociopath like his father before him. He could not emphasize with his victims, or anybody else, for that matter. From all reports, he was antisocial to an extreme. Furthermore, it is reported that he was a dedicated gambler. He would spend 14 hours straight in front of a video poker machine, day after day. Now I ask you, what would that do to a person’s mental health? Just living for the artificial thrill of gambling… It would lead to an empty life. As empty, pointless, and miserable as you can possibly imagine. Only more gambling can repress these feeling as long as you keep at it. Furthermore, he was wealthy. He had nothing to strive for. I have seen wealthy people who were born into wealth or married into wealth trying desperately to create a life for themselves, but without the burning imperative to make a living, often nothing fulfills that need to strive. So combine all these factors just discussed to arrive at a perfect storm in which one might kill innocents just for the thrill of it.
Jack Diamond says
He became what you are describing only in recent years. Reclusive, unfriendly. But his life overall does not exhibit that he was this sociopath and potential thrill killer. There was no evidence of mental illness or violent behavior. Unless you consider gambling or video poker a mental illness. For him it was kind of a business and he did good at it. He liked the complimentary amenities that went with that lifestyle in the big hotels. Of course, he could have kept being a psychopath as a deep dark secret all his life from everyone. Or it could be something actually changed his life, as it appeared to have changed, and gave him another purpose, and directed him toward mass murder.
For someone antisocial, he had two wives and he had girlfriends. He wasn’t born into wealth, not sure if he married into it (still not explained how he got rich from real estate), but he was damn mailman! Hardly to the manor born. And his daddy may have been a bank robber and even a sociopath, but he was not a killer.
“Stephen Paddock…was a laid-back “goofball” who didn’t have a “serious bone in his body,” a longtime employee of the gunman said Friday.
“He was the most stable, even-keeled personality,” said Lisa Crawford, who worked as a property manager in Texas for Paddock from 2006 to 2012. “He never even got frustrated.”
“From the night he came to the door when he bought the property, to the very end, our personalities just clicked,” said Crawford. “He was above the normal in a good way, in a beautiful way, for lack of a better term. You wanted to be around him because he was cool, he was cool to hang out with, he made you laugh.”
Paddock had a mind like a world-class chess player, thinking ahead and anticipating tenants’ concerns and problems with his property. “He didn’t have to think about it, he was just smart,” Crawford said. “It was natural, like a gift.”
She said he was relaxed, not intense. “He’d sit back in the chair and just talk,” Crawford said. He’d watch comedies and romantic movies on Crawford’s Netflix account. “We didn’t talk politics, we didn’t talk religion,” Crawford said. “Did he believe in the Lord? I think he probably did.”
Paddock’s former brother-in-law, Scott Brunoehler, recalled the gunman in the 1970s and 1980s as a smart, fun-loving person who enjoyed entertaining on his boat at Castaic Lake and Buena Vista Lake in Kern County.
“He seemed like a normal, good guy. I don’t remember anything bad back then at all,” said Brunoehler, whose sister, Sharon, married Paddock in 1977. “I’m still in shock.”
For nearly a decade, he owned an apartment complex in the Dallas suburb of Mesquite. Tenant Richard Gehring said Paddock improved the Texas property by checking applicants’ credit and quickly evicting those who didn’t pay.
“He was just a nice guy, and that was it,” Gehring said. “There’s nothing really that sets him out from anybody else.”

JawsV says
“Of course, he could have kept being a psychopath as a deep dark secret all his life from everyone.”
Yes, he could have and apparently did. Serial Killer BTK (Wichita KS) did the same. He was a family man with 2 kids. Everyone was shocked when the long-time “Bind/Torture/Kill” Wichita KS serial killer turned out to be Dennis Rader. His wife suspected nothing and divorced him as soon as it was revealed that her husband was BTK who had terrorized Wichita for over 30 years. He hid in plain sight. Doesn’t matter all of your “he was a swell fellow” quotes Paddock WASN’T. BTK murdered 10. Paddock murdered 58. Both psychopaths. And yes Paddock’s criminal father was diagnosed “psychopathic.” Psychopathy is inherited.
Jack Diamond says
Most serial killers lead a credible double life. A lot of other people do too. Spies. Terrorists. Cheaters. Manic depressives. Politicians. Nor is being a psychopath and following one, Muhammad, mutually exclusive.
You may be right about Paddock, still, BTK murdered people over a period of many years. Paddock did not. Not everyone was shocked about Dennis Radar, either. Not the women he harassed and stalked, such as Misty King, whom he tormented as a city compliance officer, who reported him as a peeping tom, and who finally moved away because he scared her so much.
As to genetic assumptions, that’s what they are.
“University of Nebraska associate criminology professor Joseph Schwartz, who studies genetic links to criminal activity, cautioned against making assumptions based on Benjamin Paddock’s history and reports of Stephen Paddock’s anti-social behavior.
“It’s human nature to try to speculate and try to understand something so terrible,” he said. “In reality, (mistreating someone) is not a precursor to collecting multiple semi-automatic weapons and shooting at people from a hotel window.”
Schwartz said research shows the genesis of criminal behavior can be equally attributed to genetics and environmental influences. But it’s impossible to determine the role genetics plays in the behavior of any specific individual. And the criminal behavior usually manifests itself at a young age, in the late teens and early 20s, not in the senior years. Stephen Paddock, a Mesquite resident and high-rolling video poker player in Las Vegas casinos, had no criminal history before carrying out Sunday’s massacre at age 64 and killing himself.
“If he had a high predisposition for criminal and violent behavior, we likely would have seen that earlier in his life,” Schwartz said.

A mass killing that bears all the earmarks of a jihad attack and targeting. Except for the identity of the shooter, whom we can’t link to jihad (except for the claims of ISIS) and whom we could just as easily see as a psychopath, finally acting out his psychosis. Maybe.
Choose your poison.
JawsV says
Yes, some hated Dennis Rader because he was creepy but no one thought he was BTK.
As for Paddock’s “earlier life” who knows what he did and got away with? No one.
Unfortunately, white men mass-murder. Bundy. Gacy. Dahmer. The Columbine killers. Adam Lanza. James Holmes. BTK. They’re psychopaths. Except for the claims of ISIS there’s nothing linking Paddock to Islamic Jihad.
Jaxcy says
I attend to agree with this answer more than the Jihadi attack theory. I just done think Paddock was a Jihadi. I get a gut feeling that he may have been used as a patsy for some reason. I don’t know why though….will have to hear more news that comes out. But then again, will it be the truth or a makeup story?
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
It’s a solid analysis.
I also concur with Guandolo’s thesis that IS’s internet recruitment is managed and executed from Western countries.

I have to disagree about “solid analysis.” Where’s the evidence Paddock was out to kill “Infidels?”
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

Probably mostly gonna be Infidels…
This doesn’t mean conclusively that he was a Jihadi–but it does meant that pretty much all of the victims would be Kuffar.
JawsV says
I understand that, graven. But, was Paddock’s objective to mass-murder a bunch of people or was his objective to specifically mass-murder people considered “Infidels” by Muslims?
That’s the question and we’ll probably never know. Until one shred of evidence turns up that this was Jihad besides the claims of ISIS I go with just people. Just Republican white people. Paddock was a Democrat. That’s what I think it’s about. Republican Scalise’s shooter was a deranged Dem.

Why, why, why is Imam Mazim Abdul-Adhim, representing the religion of pease, in London, Ontario and head of Hibz ut Tharir, a terrorist group, allowed to spew all his bullshit on line? He talks about implemting Shar’ah law in Canada, is that not treason?. Why did all the Liberals and NDP vote for M-103 other than to shut people up? Why was Muslim, member of parliament, Iraq Khalid allowed to run for parliament and introduce M-103? Why was Omar Alghabra, who is pro Shari’ah and tried to implement it in Ontario allowed to run for parliament? Why was hell not raised when he said “This is a win for Islam” Why did the NDP elect a new head of the party who says Castro was a great guy? Why is Marsha Blackburn blocked from twitter? Why does Brian Hoff thigh little girls? Because they are allowed to do whatever they want. Until we come up with someone in the world who stands up and says “NO more” they will be allowed. I will put my money on Isis being behind Las Vegas. Now I am going to listen to Dire Straits while I am still allowed.
McQueen says
Although I, too, believe the shooting was Jihad inspired (see: https://tinyurl.com/yaw84p9n ) there is another angle I haven’t seen too many exploring…
In the Steve Scalise shooting, the shooter asked if the ballplayers were Republicans or Democrats. He wasn’t targeting Scalise. He wasn’t supporting jihad. He opened fire on the players simply because they were “evil Republicans”…
There have been several big name libs (most notably the now terminated CBS executive) who have made comments to the effect of not being sympathetic to the victims because most Country Music fans “were gun-loving Republicans”. That seems to be a pretty common belief among liberals…
Who’s to say Paddock wasn’t one of those believers who opened fire because he thought the vast majority of his victims would be evil, “gun-loving, Bible-believing” Republicans?
Wouldn’t THAT stir up some stink?
Jacqueleen says
Stephen Paddock made a huge mistake. He believed his accomplices lies….Paddock made arrangements for a getaway….His accomplices had another idea. They made Paddock a martyr instead. The dead don’t talk! There was firing coming from a lower floor and the fact that Paddock could not have managed this by himself without military, police or Jihadi training, strongly suggests accomplices….Don’t think for a moment that ISIS is not here….Time will tell.
Meanwhile, thank you, Mr. Guandolo!
