The Islamic State continues to insist that it was behind the Las Vegas attack, apparently heedless of the possibility that it might lose credibility among its own followers. However, they still haven’t presented any evidence to back up their claims.
“Jihadist Observes Las Vegas Attack as ‘Cultural Penetration’ by IS, Gives Short Story ‘Inspired’ by Media Accounts of Shooting,” SITE Intelligence Group, October 15, 2017 (thanks to Andrew Bostom):
An Islamic State (IS) supporter gave his analysis of the Las Vegas attack, observing that it demonstrates a “cultural penetration” by the group through its indoctrinating an unlikely individual…

Or CIA “Lee Harvey Paddock” was a gun runner in a Fast and Furious 2.0 government sting, ending up being a patsy with props placed around him when it went to hell like the first Fast and Furious!
Watch for witnesses to multiple shooters start dying off to maintain the FBI’s bogus story.
Mac-101 says
I believe you are correct. Most likely some kind of arms deal/sting gone bad. I’d love to see more info on the security guard. Was he Paddock’s backup, or just a security guard? If he was his backup, then that explains a lot!
.
So far for his girlfriend, some say she goes to Mass al the time. Others say she has two sons with Islamic names! Remember Terry Nichols’s wife (OKC Bomber) was a Filipino Muslim with ties to Islamic Extremist.
.
If Paddock did become a Muslim it was most likely just part of his cover to sell arms.
underbed cat says
Mac-101 says “Remember Terry Nichols wife (OKC) was a Flilipino Muslim with ties to Islamic Extremist.” I have never heard this before, very interesting. He as I recall denied the ties according to the media of the day. The driver of the truck I was suspicious, he had ties…now it seems maybe they did understand.
Mac-101 says
There are several good books written about it about 10 or 20 years ago including the 3 ME men seen with them several times by I believe 6 separate witnesses. This was ALL ignored so Clinton could eradicate the Militia movement which was gaining steam.
.
Also I remember something like Nickels went to the Philippians with his wife and perfected the fertilizer bomb. They tried several before but couldn’t git it right. The connection in the Philippians was also planin on runin something like ten airliners into LA or SF skyscrapers way before 911.

“The Third Terrorist”, by Janya Davis, documented much of what Mac 101 has brought up.
don vito says
About the OKC bombing.
Mac-101 says
Thanks Don. Some people do not wish to keep an open mind. At this stage in Vegas, ALL we can safely say is it is some kind of Conspiracy. Way too many lies by officials.

Sad that the “Truthers” are out in force on this thread…

Mr. Spencer, I have full confidence in the FBI and its investigation into the Las Vegas tragedy. Casinos were Stephen Paddock’s workplace (as a professional gambler), and this heinous crime therefore appears to have yet another example of gun-related workplace violence. The FBI director said last Thursday that investigators haven’t yet determined a motive behind the mass shooting and that there is no evidence for international links to terrorism. You can take this to the bank.
Flavius Claudius Iulianus says
All crimes have a motive. Until the FBI can determine and prove a motive then the IS claim is the best explanation and the only viable motive, irrespective of any refutation from the FBI or otherwise.
Debi Brand says
“All crimes have a motive. Until the FBI can determine and prove a motive then the IS claim is the best explanation and the only viable motive, irrespective of any refutation from the FBI or otherwise.”
Indeed.
Carolyne says
Hahahahaha–Take it to the bank? Which bank, Isis’ bank?
The FBI is an incompetent agency infiltrated with Obama holdovers and Comey is one of the most corrupt individuals ever to have been exposed to the public.
Take it to the bank? Ha. This is an Isis operation, perhaps known beforehand to the FBI, but since the FBI just reacts AFTER incidents, they did nothing.
Have you been paying attention at all, Moshe? You are naïve.
gravenimage says
I don’t believe “Moshe” is naïve, Carolyne–he has an ugly posting history here as an apologist for Islam.
underbed cat says
All three theories are possible, Isis is clever and as jihadist are not believed initially any inquires into the doctrine and what is taught at mosques may have required some changes for the next jihadi one that would not be connected to mass migration or refugee’s, the other theory about the CIA..gun runner or just a gun supplier with all sorts of weapons and chemicals and being set up is also possible. Also antifa and especially BLM are prized by the MB, as they were calling for revolution in this country like what they have done around the world…..reference conference that was captured on video. Either the information is being suppressed for political reasons by those who are clueless about Islam, or they have not found ties….this was a tragic event that happens around the world but it is difficult to know exactly who, when or where since it is so fluid. It would be very interesting to see security camera’s and who entered the building and room and were they able to avoid detection. Also wonder since Paddock gambled how he won so much he may have been a card counter.
Mac-101 says
One thing we can be reasonably sure of with the major screw up of the time line for over a week, it is a CONSPIRACY!
.
Since he was so well know I highly doubt he was a card counter. If he made 300 Grand a year out of the casinos he would have been blackballed. I’d say a more logical explanation is that he was laundering money for someone. Bring in 100 Grand in cash for chips, lose 10 grand and turn the chips in and have the 90 G’s put in a certain account.
Lawrence says
“They still haven’t any evidence to back up their claims”. Yeah no kidding. So Spencer is backtracking from his original postings here thinking there was a very good chance he was a Muslim convert. In case you forgot.
gravenimage says
What crap from Lawrence. Robert Spencer never made such a claim–he just reported the news about the Islamic State.
Jack Diamond says
Why do they (the Islamic State) have to present evidence and why do they care that you don’t believe them? No other group/cause has claimed responsibility, or wanted to.
It’s already a cold-case as far as the FBI is concerned. It was just one of those things…guy went psycho.
The end.
Interesting sidebar though, this bust of a Filipino doctor for plotting with a Canadian and Pakistani Muslim to target music concerts in New York –“to shoot up concerts cuz they kill a lot of people” –as well as car bomb Times Square or attack the subway system. An ISIS “inspired” plot to attack music concerts and connected to the Philippines. Kind of a coincidence {and why aren’t we hearing more about what Paddock was doing on all those trips to the Philippines and the Middle East? nothing suspicious, just lounging around the pool?}
Anyway, Russell here apparently kept his (recent?) Muslim beliefs from his colleagues.
The doctor, Russell Salic, had links to the Maute group in the southern Philippines, which has sworn allegiance to the Islamic State. He is an orthopedic surgeon {that doctor jihad again}, and his lawyer claims “Russell Salic donated money to charity but never to terrorists, renounces terrorism and has never held a gun in his life.” {Muslim charities are fronts for jihad, al Qaeda was a charity originally}
“He even said that he is mad at terrorist activities. He said that in Islam, terrorism is prohibited. He is a devout Muslim. He is praying five times a day,” lawyer Dalomilang Parahiman told AFP.
{to devout Muslims terrorism is only something done to Muslims, jihad is not “terrorism” it is doing worship}
Salic allegedly told the undercover agent that his ultimate goal was to join ISIS in Syria, but that “it would be a great pleasure if we can slaughter” people in New York, the documents said.
Salic is under investigation in Manila over his alleged involvement in the kidnapping and beheading of two sawmill workers in April 2016 in the southern rural town of Butig, which the military had blamed on the Maute group.
“I can’t believe it because I can’t imagine doctors would be involved in those kinds of activities,” Northern Mindanao Medical Centre chief Jose Chan told AFP, adding that co-workers shared his sentiment.
“He is a silent guy. He gets along well with other doctors in the department or other doctors in the other departments, just like any other resident in the hospital,” Chan said.
The hospital chief also said he knew nothing of the personal life or religious beliefs of Salic, who completed his residency last April.”
————
A Filipino suspect in a thwarted jihadist plot targeting New York City had boasted that his country was “a breeding ground for terrorists”, the US Justice Department said Saturday.
The agent posed as an ISIS supporter and communicated with Salic and his two alleged accomplices Abdulrahman El Bahnasawy, a 19-year-old Canadian who purchased bombmaking materials, and Talha Haroon, a 19-year-old American citizen living in Pakistan.
El Bahnasawy told the undercover FBI agent that Salic was a trusted ISIS supporter who had provided funding to help the group on prior occasions, according to the Justice Department.
“Terrorists from all over the world usually come here as a breeding ground for terrorists… hahahaha… But no worry here in Philippines. They dont care bout ISIS… Only in west,” he (Salic) added.
El Bahnasawy and Haroon claimed to the undercover agent to have contacts with an ISIS branch known as Khorasan Province, which is active in Pakistan and Afghanistan.
El Bahnasawy traveled to the New York City area on May 21, 2016, under monitoring by Canadian and US law enforcement, unbeknownst to him. He was arrested that night in New Jersey. He pleaded guilty to seven charges that October, and his sentencing is scheduled for December 12.
Haroon was arrested in Pakistan in September 2016 and Salic was arrested in the Philippines in April 2017. Both have extradition cases pending.”

The concept that there are muslim professional organizations for every profession, such as medical and dental, you name it, made visiting a doctor when my doctor was out of town a difficult decision, since this doctor had a arabic name, I took the prescription felt terrible and never went back. It could be I am irrational or rational I realize….but this will remain a concern of mind and convinced me that my choices are very limited in my area and the realization diversity has it’s issues…if they decide to take two oaths one to be pious on the job or off It is not what I want or ever thought would become an issue, but it is what it is.

To be sure, “Allah” obedient, or not so. Long and short of it.
i.e., skilled only enough to perform acts such as arson or skilled sufficiently for brain surgery, one is, simply, “Allah” obedient, or not so.
David G. says
There is no evidence that Paddock was performing Jihad. However, you cannot completely rule it out. He did vacation in the middle east more than most people do.
I am not going to provide the links to that, but anyone following this story closely has seen those stats.
Matthieu Baudin says
Will the autopsy report be available to all – I’m not familiar with the relevant laws in Nevada/U.S.A.? I’d be interested to see if there were traces of hypnotic class drugs in his system and if so there is then a possible thread linking him to grooming as an assassin. There is an Islamic tradition to this approach utilising the hypnotic qualities of hashish. Some direct evidence, a video clip or even a hand written note would help settle the case, but then the ISIS unit may be intentionally stringing it all out and thus creating a pervasive uncertainty, another strategy in it’s psychological warfare. But at present all is conjecture and this may soon join the substantial list of homicidal cold cases.
Carolyne says
The results of the autopsy will be made public only if they back up the FBI’s story, Otherwise, no.
underbed cat says
I am sorry, but brain tumors do not necessary or maybe never cause someone to kill another with the skill Paddock had…he was very methodical and too aware of his moves for me to think a brain tumor would be the cause. Hallucinations usually cause a person to be totally unaware and wouldn’t plan, as their concentration is easily distracted.
underbed cat says
However certain drugs might cause aggressiveness, hostile feelings.
Rick says
I’ve been wondering about the autopsy report as well. However I don’t really care if he was on drugs, I want to know the time of death. Of course if the TOD doesn’t dovetail with the official timeline the autopsy findings will either be falsified or withheld.
Bezelel says
There’s a lot of internet scuttlebutt on this incident. Now there are eyewitnesses claiming multiple shooters. Anyone waiting for all the facts to surface will be waiting a long time. Autopsy reports would be most interesting and I’ve heard one guy who wants to know about gunpowder residue on paddock? Antidepressants? They did say there was no brain tumors and that’s about it. By the way, I thought cultural appropriation was frowned on nowadays. ISIS sounds like they’re happy as long as someone is getting killed. The disgusting remarks made by certain leftists about the high percentage of Trump supporters being killed at the concert has shown the world how sick they are as well. I’ve heard more discussion on “bump stocks” than about evidence.
unbeliever 1 says
ISIS is so desperate to claim any spectacular attack in order to impress and give hope to their followers as to likely take credit for having something to do with rabbid dogs biting people
David A says
Actually numerous false claims by ISIS is a myth. Of over 50 claims only one is highly questionable, the vast majority confirmed.
If you have other evidence, please provide it.

I don’t usually follow Alex Jones but surprisingly he has had it right multiple times on Vegas this time! Officials keep changing their story to line up with what Alex said in the beginning. Now, proven that terrorist traveled to muslim countries for last few months.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqAaxztu3is

How difficult is it to determine when a person checked into a hotel? It is computerized. Also, if I had an FBI agent glaring at me during a statement, I’d likely say what he told me to say. This particular agent is John Podesta’s son-in-law.
