In an astonishing move which is reflective of the level of concern in Poland about the Islamization of Europe:
Thousands of Catholics formed a human chain along the borders of Poland on the anniversary of an historic victory by Europe over the Ottoman Empire officially to pray for peace and “against the Islamisation of Europe”.
Europe has been hit hard by mass rapes, violence and jihad attacks since opening its borders wide to unvetted immigrants. The Visegrad group, which includes Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, have been strict on preserving the peace, safety and democracy of their countries by refusing to implement the suicidal immigration policies that have led to chaos in other European nations.
Poland has also vowed to fight EU penalties for not taking in its “share” of refugees. As Poland continues to protect its citizens, and while thousands have turned to prayer at the border for peace, they are sure to be referred to as “Islamophobic.”
“PICS: Thousands of Poles Pray on the Border Against ‘Islamisation,’” by Victoria Friedman, Breitbart, October 8, 2017:
Thousands of Catholics formed a human chain along the borders of Poland on the anniversary of an historic victory by Europe over the Ottoman Empire officially to pray for peace and “against the Islamisation of Europe”.
Polish media reports hundreds of thousands of adherents participated in the “Rosary on the Borders” event on Saturday, October 7th, to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto, where “the Christian fleet overcame the Muslim armada, saving Europe from Islamisation”.
The Catholic Feast of the Holy Rosary was established by Pope Pius V in 1571 as “Our Lady of Victory” after the Holy League won a landmark victory over the Ottoman Turks at their naval station in Lepanto.
The Solo Dios Basta foundation, which organised the event, attributed the victory to the recital of the rosary “that saved Europe from Islamisation”.
Prayers took place across some 4,000 locations along the country’s 2,000-mile border involving 320 churches from 22 dioceses.
Rosary on the Borders” also marked the end of the Fatima centenary, celebrating 100 years since the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, in the spring of 1917.
Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki, head of the Polish Episcopal Conference, told RMF FM that “the key objective of this manifestation is to pray for peace”.
Krakow Archbishop Marek Jedraszewski called on Catholics to pray “for the other European nations to make them understand it is necessary to return to Christian roots so that Europe would remain Europe”.
Catholic activist Marcin Dybowski told AFP that “a religious war between Christianity and Islam is once again underway in Europe, just like in the past”.
“Poland is in danger. We need to shield our families, our homes, our country from all kinds of threats, including the de-Christianisation of our society, which the EU’s liberals want to impose on us,” he said.
Matthieu Baudin says
Freedom and Identity are living entities for Poles. There are several aspects of their history that have forged their independent fighting spirit that can be traced back centuries, and at least amongst the generations who lived under the communist occupation, their history is a living thing that aids in giving guidance to the future. The Polish Catholic Church has for the most part been loyal, sometimes to the point of self sacrifice to the Polish People, providing sanctuary in various ways during the darkest days of dictatorial State Rule. So today Poland appears to be cradle protecting the hopes and aspirations of an earlier less confused Europe.

This video was amazing! Gave me chills, in a good way! Do we know who the main speaker was?
But I couldn’t help to feel sad that such a gathering wouldn’t happen in today’s America. Maybe I need to move to Poland! If only the language were not so intimidating. What do they have against vowels? 😉
J. Bissonnette says
It is an amazing video. I’ve been saying to my friend that we need to move to Poland! I don’t know who the main speaker was.

Jacek Miedlar he was a priest but that was taken away from him because he’s pro Catholicism and nationalism. Some people in the Vatican don’t like that. He has a YouTube channel but it’s in Polish.

Thank you for the information.

To J Bissonnette- Thank you for this stirring video from the Polish people. And I was so happy they mentioned USA at the end. I would rather be killed than convert to Islam. I believe Allah is Satan the devil. ?
J. Bissonnette says
You’re welcome. This video needs to be seen. Same here. I will not convert. You’re not the only one to believe that.

At least 15, possibly 20 years ago, it came to the attention of some Christians in Scotland that a group of Muslims were walking the coast of Scotland claiming it for Islam. They were hiring community centres for rituals and even sleeping in them – which I think would be illegal.
No one thought very much about it. With hindsight they should have.
May the UK Christians rise up and repent and ask for mercy for before it is too late.

I hadn’t heard about Muslims doing this–but it does not surprise.

From the post above, “suicidal immigration policies”. EU leadership’s immigration policies, are murderous. EU wants to murder Western culture, society, history, and progress, the ideas and values of the Western world, but most of all the murder the people of the Western world, calling it suicidal contributes to the false narrative. EU intends to create a new human to populate Europe. And EU leadership will lead this new people. These elites must first destroy before they can build. The term suicide helps absolve the elites as the originators of the destruction. That is why murder is the most appropriate description of what is taking place and who are the murderers.

Catholicism and Islam are fingers on the same hand.
eduardo odraude says
I’m no Catholic, but Catholicism, for all its problems (including the dunderhead pope), is a thousand times less bad than Islam. This is the case in terms of history, doctrine, and current practice. To say they the two religions are the same is an approach to religion like the approach of racists to another race: “they all look alike.” Such a statement reveals only that the person who makes it has no actual knowledge of what he is talking about.

I 100% agree with you, eduardo!

Page 111 declares, “The Catholic church resisted the mounting heresies with regard to the Person of Christ, and…Protestants would continue to affirm Catholic Christology.” Again, terribly false! Catholicism’s Christology is heretical. It denies Christ’s exclusive role as mediator between God and man, making Mary “co-mediatrix”; it denies the exclusivity of His redemptive work, making Mary “co-redemptrix” (Vatican II credits Mary with a perpetual “salvific role; she continues to obtain by her constant intercession the graces we need for eternal salvation”); and it denies the sufficiency of His redemptive work, declaring that the redeemed must, in addition to Christ’s suffering for them upon the cross, suffer for their own sins here and/or in purgatory, etc. A great deal more heresy is involved in Catholic Christology, such as presenting Him as perpetually an infant or child subject to His mother, perpetually on the cross-but lack of space prevents further detail. The “Christ” of Roman Catholicism is just as false as its “Mary”-as much “another Jesus” as that of Mormonism or any other cult. Let’s admit it!

Once again, shosh7154 is unhinged over doctrinal differences in Catholicism and Mormonism, but doesn’t care about Muslims raping and murdering the innocent.

shosh has posted the “fingers on the same hand” nonsense on JW several times before now.
shosh is a manipulative deceiver as shosh knows Catholicism and Islam are not alike in essence and spirit. He will not explain what “he” means by his fingers/hand “analogy”.
He seeks to divide and destroy.

Mike soon realized that many of the teachings and traditions of the Catholic religion were not found in the Bible. After more study he discovered the Roman Catholic plan of salvation was diametrically opposed to the Gospel of grace revealed in the Bible. This lead to a crisis of faith. Should he trust Christ and His Word or the teachings and traditions of his religion? He knew he could not believe both. God granted him repentance and he exchanged his religion for a relationship with His all-sufficient Savior. After discerning that God seeks worshippers in spirit and truth, Mike left the Catholic Church in 1985 for a church where the true Gospel is proclaimed and Scripture is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice.

What a load of rot from shosh7154.
Catholicism is *nothing* like Islam.
What he is saying here is that Poles who want to be spared the horrors of Muslim invasion are no better than the Muslims who would rape and murder them.
He is also saying that brave Anti-Jihadist Robert Spencer–who is himself a devout Catholic–is not better than are Jihadists. *Ugh*.

Even though I don’t believe in the power of prayer, I love that they did this! It’s great to see so many people publicly declaring that they don’t want their country to become Islamized by Muslim “refugees”. I’d like to see a lot more of this, throughout Europe.
I encourage all infidels to celebrate the Battle of Lepanto, and other victories against Muslim invaders & Islamists. I’ve provided a list of these occasions in my book, because each of these celebrations makes for a nice, cheery “F**k you!” to our Islamist foes.

The Visegrad group may be the long term hope for Europe. Hungary needs to strengthen its democratic institutions, which the ruling party arguably has been undermining. That said, Hungary and the other Visegrad nations understand the civilizational threat of Islam, so there is hope for Europe.

Splendid Poland ! This should be happening in all Western countries. Prayer helps, as long you pray for the good things and the first good thing is: peace!. If you pray for all the bad things, you destroy yourselves, and that is what will happen to Islam.
If we would all pray for peace and I hope you do, you will see what happens. Pls , do it !!!
Darkness is only the absence of light. When you pray for the light, it will destroy the darkness, and don’t ever feel afraid, or fear. Darkness lives on fear, that’s why Islam wants to put terror and fear into people, they know that ,and they are trying to get their energy from it. The more people fear, the more we give Islam strength. I know this by experience. Countries where they live in the most fear, will be hit the most.
So pray for light and peace and slowly it will all change.
Savvy Kafir says
I believe prayer is a waste of time & energy that would be much better spent communicating with those who actually exist — in this case, with non-Muslim humans who don’t understand the threat posed by Islam.

I hope Poland saves Europe again from Muslims like they did in 1683 in Vienna.
This time however Muslims have their leftards on their side. Much more difficult situation I believe.

Perfect timing! Polish Catholics are repeating the same exercise as that offered by the Christian crusaders just prior to the defeat of Muslim hordes in the battle of Lepanto. The annniversary of that defeat (October) stopped Muslim hordes from conquering Europe. It is interesting that back in 1451, the European powers referred to these warriors as Muslim, and not Islamists. Regardless, it has become increasingly obvious that these ideologues tolerate NONE but themselves, so perhaps those of different faiths, ( or none) might occupy themselves with strategies, religious and otherwise, to protect themselves from this clear and present danger. Well done Poland.

God bless Poland and the Polish people. It is a real miracle and a leading light for all non believers of Islam. The essence of Islam is to conquer ALL humanity in contrast to other faiths that ask us to give of ourselves willingly and to grow in love and forgiveness. Also our Atheist brothers and sisters who understand the benefit of spirituality and growth, the journey of human life without force, violence and submission. I pray for all Muslims to see the grace, loving kindness and forgiveness of other faiths so that they may escape the awful binds of Islam and the Koranic teachings. Those that teach segregation from secularism and the wider human family and teach hate and divide and superiority.
