Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

State Department picks hijab-wearing Somali Muslim to represent American youth at UN

Oct 10, 2017 3:23 pm By Robert Spencer

Here is yet more evidence that the State Department is a swamp that has yet to be drained, and may never be drained.

Munira Khalif may be a wonderful U.S. Youth Observer to the United Nations, even if her statement here is full of the expected platitudes (“empower,” “diversity,” “globalized world,” etc.). But she was clearly chosen for her symbolic value. She is a living, walking symbol of the State Department’s anxiousness to show that the United States is not “Islamophobic.” She is a demonstration of the State Department’s determination to “empower” Muslims and show our “diversity,” so as to refute the jihadist narrative that the U.S. is at war with Islam, which will keep Muslims in the U.S. from becoming “alienated” and joining the jihad.

The whole idea is based on the assumption that Muslims turn to jihad because of the injustices suffered by Muslims at the hand of the U.S., and so if the U.S. is nice to Muslims, the jihad will end. This is based on completely ignoring the teachings about jihad in the Qur’an and Sunnah, and so is doomed to failure, but that doesn’t keep the deep state State Department wonks from trying and trying, again and again.

“Meet Munira Khalif, the 2017-2018 U.S. Youth Observer to the United Nations,” DipNote, U.S. State Department blog, October 4, 2017 (thanks to Creeping Sharia):

I’m so honored and excited to have been selected as this year’s U.S. Youth Observer to the United Nations. To start off the year, I wanted to officially introduce myself.

My name is Munira Khalif, and I was born and raised in Minnesota. I study Economics and minor in Government at Harvard University. As a Somali-American, I grew up aware of the reality that not all children have the opportunity to attend school—especially girls. By no fault of their own, millions of children are deprived of the opportunity to advance their own lives and that of their families and communities.

There is an African proverb that exclaims, “If you educate a boy, you educate an individual. If you educate a girl, you educate a nation”. Education has the power to transform — not only individuals — but our world. With this in mind, I co-founded Lighting the Way. The youth-run organization focuses on making education more accessible for young people in East Africa — especially girls. Lighting the Way works to provide scholarships, build libraries, and sponsor teachers. In addition, I served as a Teen Advisor for the United Nations Foundation campaign Girl Up. Girl Up mobilizes American girls to empower and support the world’s hardest-to-reach adolescent girls in developing countries to be safe, healthy, educated, counted, and positioned to be the next generation of leaders. Through Girl Up, I have had the opportunity to speak on the importance of girl’s education at the United Nations Head Quarters on the first inaugural Malala Day and to lobby alongside other youth advocates to pass the Girls Count Act.

I applied to be the next U.S. Youth Observer because I believe in the power of young people to bring forth immeasurable change. Often times, international institutions like the United Nations can seem daunting. In turn, we believe that our voices don’t matter. But the reality is that the United Nations needs a diversity of voices to be able to solve the complex issues of the world. More importantly, when issues that affect young people are being discussed it is intrinsic that we have a seat at the table. As the U.S. Youth Observer, I will work to ensure that young Americans have a seat at the table. I will leverage my platform to amplify the voices, ideas, and concerns of young Americans at global policy discussions.

As the year unfolds, I look forward to connecting with young people from across the country to hear about the global issues that are at the forefront of their minds. I hope that over my tenure I will be able to instill a sense of global citizenship. We live in a globalized world and our futures and lives are more interconnected than ever before. Being a global citizen means caring about not only what is happening within our own borders — but also outside of them. Because the problems of others can quickly become our own. We must speak out where others have been silent.  We must take action where others have stood still. We must shine our own light in the hopes of illuminating the way for others.

    Munira Khalif:

[1] do you believe that the protection and promotion of the absolute inalienable rights, of each and every individual, are to be the primary objectives of the USA govt and of the UN?
[2] do you believe in the absolute separation between the State and each and every religious ideology?
[3] do you believe that sharia law is to be subservient COMPLETELY to the USA Constitution?
[4] do you believe that fundamental muhammedans individuals, organizations and etc, who/which believe that muhammedanism mandates world domination [and therefore rejects basic human rights], should NOT be permitted to enter the USA and/or any Western-style country?
[5] do you believe that FGM should be condemned summarily and all perpetrators be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?

“[3] do you believe that sharia law is to be subservient COMPLETELY to the USA Constitution?”

      Of course she doesn’t.

But, it’s ISLAMIC law. The Sharia is ISLAMIC law carried out. And when you realize that it includes toilet etiquette, the idea that its every aspect should be subservient to the U.S. Constitution is uninformed.

They need to be asked about specific aspects of Islamic law which actually do conflict with our constitution and laws.

Not trying to be mean, but specifics are important.

Nothing wrong with being mean to people who deserve it and YES this BINT deserves it. She rambles on about her love of “writing and performing” spoken word poetry.

Do you think she’s aware the specific enormities regarding poetry according to the famous Islamic Shafi Theologian Shafi Ibn Hajar Haytami? Does she know that embellishing a poetic ode by mentioning a particular woman even without indecency is an enormity?

My guess is her taqiyya lying backside is well aware and the leftist-idiot dupes in dhimmi rex tilerson’s state department are just that………clueless idiot dhimmis. I have no problem being mean and nasty when it comes to this. I think she’s quite despicable. Let her come and challenge me on that.

I don’t want to be a Global Citizen; governed by multinational corporations OR Shariah. That won’t be nirvana, it will be “1984” Hell. The EU nations are just discovering what loss of sovereignty means.

The drug problem in the universities must be rampant for so many young people to have such unfounded, “pipe dream”, expectations of peace in a “Global World”.

It is almost amusing that the very people who should be promoting what this young lady is saying are actually her worst opponents. They will continue to ignore and accept the abuse of women in Islam out of fear of accusations of Islamophobia. Educating girls is a wonderful, sensible idea but will the men allow it to happen ? Muslim men have a vested interest in keeping girls uneducated and subservient, until that changes nothing else will.

    Islam is my life
    The Koran is my guide
    The Sunnah is my practice
    Jihad is my spirit
    Paradise is my goal
    …and
I will die to establish Islam
If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.
By Mustafa Carroll, Director CAIR Texas. Is this something we need in the government of the American people? This is the enemy of the American people and the constitution of the United States. A practicing Muslim has no allegiance to the American people or the United States. A practicing Muslim is here to expand the Muslim presence and the Muslim Ideology here in America, essentially to kill and destroy all non-believers of the Muslim cult and install Sharia Law as the law of the land.A practicing Muslim holds allegiance to only Allah and Sharia Law, not to man made law or the constitution of the United States. A practicing Muslim cannot be a true citizen of the United States.

Munira Khalif, as far as i am concerned, first start to educate your own ideology /religion, before you talk to this wonderful institution, called the UN.
You and your people came here, wanted to conquer us, beheading us, flogging, stoning, raping , mutilating , destroying, taking cities and states and land, taking away our free speech, dictating us, calling us Islamophobes, nazis, kaffurs, threatening ,us, terrorising us, if we don’t convert to your religion.
It is the same old game, beautiful speeches, it does not touch reality at all, it is all empty talk.
You bit the hand that fed you and let you study in the USA. Stay in your jihab, but do not call yourself an American. May be in papers and pasport, but first educate your own and ask the UN what to do about the killings etc.. But talking about the real problems do not give you any award, because they are to diff-
cult to touch. Talk about taking away free speech and atrocities and what goes on in the world right now.

Halal bacon, the UN has no point just like the EU. Read Eagle he is so right, read Mustafa Carrol, director Cair Texas. Talk about standing above the law of the land, bu at this moment for a lot of people it does not come over so well, when you represent the USA.

Instead of fighting Islam after 9/11 the West had a paradoxical reaction — we submitted. Geo W Bush started the paradoxical reaction by calling bellicose Islam “peace.” The truth is Islam doesn’t have a peaceful bone in its accursed body. The Koran is a declaration of war against the rest of humanity. Islam began conquering almost as soon as Mohamed invented it: Mecca, Syria, Iraq, Persia, Egypt, all of North Africa then onto Gibralter, Spain, Portugal. Yeah, Islam’s real peaceful, George.

That this Muslima with headgear is supposed to be representative of American youth shows how far we’ve sunk in capitulating to Islam.

I don’t care how many rubes in the US State Department think that Islam is OK. I never will. Might as well try to convince me of the merits of Nazism. Yeah, Islam is this terrible. For proof, just read the Koran, hadiths and sira. One might also want to look at the over 31,000 documented Islamic terrorist attacks worldwide just since 9/11 for further confirmation that Islam is massively dysfunctional, highly violence-prone and an eternal enemy of freedom.

Best to be like Scaramouche for sanity’s sake, i.e., possessed of a gift of laughter and a sense that the world is mad. I’ve got the latter down pat, still somewhat in search of the former.

Using a Muslim girl to represent the youth of America while she is wearing her hijab by the way is not ceremonial it is demanded per the Koran and by Islamic Sharia Law.

Look to Europe to see the destruction Islam as brought upon the people of European nations then think about what Islam has started to do here in America.

The bandwagon of UN is useless to say the least and to add “feather” to the organisation with a tinge of an evil ideology is appalling.

The UN should be dumped in Atlantic. The Muslims have it split vertically like they do with every institution and their goal is always war mongering with the objective of enslaving the world for allah and his supremacist/evil ideology.
