Why is the U.S. still in the United Nations? Why is the U.N. still operating on U.S. soil?
“UN Accused of ‘Blackmailing’ Israeli Telecomm Company to Cut Services to Jews,” by Adam Kredo, Washington Free Beacon, October 16, 2017:
The United Nations Human Rights Council is pressuring a major Israeli telecommunications company to cease operations in disputed areas of the Jewish state or face a potential designation as a human rights abuser, according to a copy of communications sent by the Human Rights Council that is being viewed as an attempt to blackmail international corporations into boycotting the Jewish state.
The UNHRC recently sent a letter to the CEO of Bezeq, a major Israeli telecoms firm, accusing it of promoting settlement activity in Israel and of providing cellular services to areas that the Council believes are Palestinian territory.
The UNHRC’s effort to create a database of companies working in and with Israel is being viewed by pro-Israel leaders as an effort to intimidate Israeli and Western businesses as part of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement, or BDS, a global effort that has been described by the United States and others as anti-Semitic in nature. Bezeq is among a number of companies, including those in America, who have received such letters from the UNHRC.
A senior U.S. official familiar with the situation said the Trump administration opposes the UNHRC database and views it as part of a larger effort to isolate the Jewish state and use the United Nations to bully international corporations.
The UNHRC has long been accused of harboring an anti-Israel bias and recently elected a number of prominent global human rights abusers to take a seat at the council, including nations such as the Democratic Republic of Congo, Afghanistan, Angola, and Qatar, all of which have been accused of violating their citizens’ human rights.
The UNHRC’s effort to create a database of corporations that it claims support Israeli settlement growth and the abuse of Palestinian human rights has been described by some pro-Israel voices as a blackmail effort meant to undermine the Jewish state’s international standing.
The UNHRC sent a letter to Bezeq in late September accusing it of “supporting the maintenance and existence of settlements, as well as the “use of nature resources, in particular water and land, for business purposes,” according to a copy of that letter that first circulated on Facebook.
The UNHRC threatens to add Bezeq to its database of companies operating in what it claims are Israeli settlements and the occupied Palestinian territories.
“Bezeq owns approximately 40 real estate properties in the West Bank used for telecommunications infrastructure, and operates antennas throughout the West Bank,” the UNHRC wrote in its letter.”
“Bezeq provides landline, cellular, internet, and cable TV services to residents of settlements in the West Bank,” according to the UNHRC, which considers this activity a violation of its accords.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Mission to the UN criticized the creation of the database, telling the Washington Free Beacon the United States will not participate in such an effort.
“We have made clear our opposition regarding the creation of a database of businesses operating in Israeli settlements in the occupied territories, and we have not participated and will not participate in its creation or contribute to its content,” the official said.
Anne Bayefsky, a prominent pro-Israel activist and head of Human Rights Voices, a watchdog group that monitors anti-Israel bias at the UN, told the Free Beacon the letter to Bezeq represents an effort by the international body to promote BDS efforts against Israel.
“The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Jordanian Prince Zeid Al Hussein, acting in cahoots with the UN Human Rights Council, has been blackmailing companies around the world as part of a UN BDS campaign directed at Israel,” Bayefsky said.
Similar letters have been sent to companies across the globe, threatening them with inclusion into this anti-Israel database….

The John Birch Society, >50 years ago came up with the slogan – Get US out of the UN, and the UN out of the US.
Not a day has passed when that statement wasn’t always the best policy to follow.
If you were an American.
But if you were a globalist, it was anathema.
Notice who pushes these World Government schemes. Then you’ve found your enemy.
Wellington says
Invoking, Emilie Green, the John Birch Society, which occasionally stumbled into the truth, is not a winning strategy since it saw conspiracies most everywhere and discredited itself a very long time ago. In fact, William F. Buckley Jr., who died in 2008, and was the founder of National Review, to his great credit did all he could (and it was a lot) to divorce modern American conservatism from a nut-job organization like the John Birch Society. You dishonor this great conservative’s memory, and you know this or should know it, by invoking a reactionary organization like the John Birch Society to prove any point of yours.
Understand, I despise the United Nations, and regularly call it the Useless Nations, but when one, as you have, invokes the John Birch Society to prove a point you have, ipso facto, immediately discredited your point. Rethink things here. Big time and quick like because you do liberty no good at all if the John Birch Society is your main point (or any point) of reference. After all, there is a HUGE difference between conservatives and reactionaries. The Left regularly likes to conflate the two. Sadly, you have too.

The governments are rules by the legal system of sharia, and the jihad doctrine…along with deception …….so they can maintain credibility. as they attack countries . T hey have access to lots of money ….and lots of control over the muslim minds and daily living. If you grow up in this brutal system…not likely to know any difference and so why are they walking the streets, and in this country? The New United Western Civilized Nations should band together with ex muslims and build from there. Tolerance and justice are the words they use seduce, however they have only one meaning and that is sharia 360 degree turn form our understanding the the words and it is meant to confuse so they are welcomed….unless you read their doctrine then it is apparent who they really are without the mask they are the enemy.

Most Western apologists for Islam have not read the Qur’an, and don’t want to. If they did, it would upset their “narrative” that Islam is peaceful.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is built upon blackmail. In the event that a Muslim entity would not want to be part of the group of Islamic influenced nations, any dissenting would not be tolerated by the OIC, and OIC pressures would be brought to blackmail any dissenter. The UN has lost its non-partisan standing many years ago, simply by the UN presence of one nation, Israel. Islamic-controlled UN nation members hate the existence of an approximate 6 million Jews who exist in Israel. The fact that there are almost 2 million other Israeli citizens who are not Jews, but wouldn’t trade their Israeli citizenship for that of any Islamic national citizenship amounts to a non-factor to OIC, a never mentioned subject among Muslim nations as members of OIC. Obviously, these OIC nations are frozen in hate and cannot advance their own societies due to a tiny state’s existence and its progress, as the State of Israel.
Israel does claim itself as the Jewish nation, which obviously goes against Islamic states of mind. However, Islamic states do maintain that they be recognized as “Islamic states” and expect no criticism for the description. “Pot calling the kettle black?” Obviously yes! Hypocrisy on the part of Islam? Yes!
But even more is the directive in the koran, which after approximately 3500 years of Islam, still targets one group of people against their existence; the Jews. Of course, as we read international headlines, Christians are on the Islamic-koranic death list.as a second to the Jews. The truth of the matter really is that Islam would have a universe full of Muslims and none other than Muslims. “Religion of peace?”
Only if Islam sets the terms of peace! While Islam names the Jews; Hindus, Buddhists, every extension of Christianity, and all others not Islamic cannot exist. Yet, “The Religion of Peace” does demonstrate its “perseverance” with Muslims as a whole, by Muslims killing each other. I think we have all reviewed the matter ad nauseum, but the truth is a warning we should all regard when Islam claims itself as “Religion of Peace.” No doubt, Islam believes its own description of itself; to the rest of mankind Islam’s assessment of itself is a monstrous lie, and the ancient Latin cautions “Caveat Emptor.” must be observed in even a peaceful encounter. That peace is never lasting.
Jayell says
I don ‘t understand. With whom are these muslims supposed to be ‘co-operating’? I didn’t think they understood that concept unless it was with other muslims, and even then it would be a bit dubious. And as for ‘The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is built upon blackmail’, what else should we expect from a ‘relgion’ (sic) that is nothing more than institutionalised criminality?

All those organisations like the Un, EU and a lot more are so weak, they cost tons of money, specially for the people that work there and they will not leave there until they have to, their pensions are beautiful too, so even when they don’t believe in what they voted for, they don,t go, the pluche is too soft, too nice and the money too good, so they don’t go. I am sure there are some good people, but the good people never really win, but that is going to change. And it is not even about winning or losing, it is about making a better life for all people, animals and Nature and not messing everything up, and the ILLUMINATI and UN and EU are working against everything and I do not know what they have in mind with NWO, FEMA camps, Agenda 21. They should give a copy of Agenda 21 to everybody. Transparency. I am curious if they will do that. It was made by the UN, why don’t we get it?

Israel assigned to the Jews in the Koran. Therefore Muslims may recognize Israel without disloyalty to Islam.
The Koran in a number of places assigns Israel to the ‘children of Israel’.
Koran 5.20 actually uses the word ‘assign’: “O my people (Jews), enter the Holy Land which God has assigned unto you…”
Koran 5.32 lets it slip that “We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person – unless it be in retaliation for murder or for spreading mischief IN THE LAND”
What is ‘the land’ where Jews control the legal system? Obviously, ‘the land’ is Israel assigned to Jews by Koran 5.20.
Moreover, Koran 17.104 announces the return of Jews to Israel during the end times: “And thereafter We [Allah] said to the Children of Israel: ‘Dwell securely in the Promised Land. And when the last warning will come to pass, we will gather you together in a mingled crowd.”

Yes–but it also says that Jews essentially forfeited the sanction of Allah because they were not good Muslims–and that now they can be abused and slaughtered with impunity.

http://www.un.org/en/member-states/index.html/… Many Islamic nations were welcomed at the creation of the UN, even though the practices went against the above declaration, so why have they kept them when the Islamic nations violate the very charter of this organization. Time to shut down this power hungry corrupt organization that has failed from the get go.

Also note that many Islamic nations pick-n-choose which Human Rights Articles they sign – they ratify only the most insignificant ones but are not obliged to accept the others – and the UN allows this Nonsense.
It creates the impression that Muslim member-states have agreed to the UN Declaration of HR when they actually have avoided totally any commitment to all of it.
These same recalcitrant nations have been permitted to sit on HR councils without being questioned about legitimacy.

Simple. It involves a certain three letter agency of the U.S. government. Being more specific could harm our defenses. I’ve probably written too much already. These are questions that we should really stop asking.

The UN has always been a very expensive, useless organisation. I remember the UN forces committing atrocities in the Congo under Prem Chand in the sixties. Maybe something useful can then take its place.
