“We as a staff understand that the campus atmosphere has the potential to feel more stressful than usual, and even threatening for some.”
Threatening? Yeah, to me. But not to you snowflakes. Mind if I drop by for a slice of pizza?
Seriously, this is what universities have fallen to. They’re not in the least equipping students to deal rationally with opposing ideas, much less actual adversity. Imagine how these fragile dears will react if they’re ever confronted by an actual Islamic jihadist. They’d probably fall to their knees and beg his forgiveness for their white privilege.
“WE WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR THAT ALL RESIDENTS WILL BE RESPECTED REGARDLESS OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL VIEWS.”
Not really. I’m sure that anyone who supports my work would be most unwelcome.
This notice went out to residents of Stanford’s Murray House last night:
PIZZA IN THE LOUNGE TOMORROW NIGHT
As many of you know, Robert Spencer will be visiting Stanford tomorrow. We as a staff understand that the campus atmosphere has the potential to feel more stressful than usual, and even threatening for some.
We want you all to know that your space in Murray is indeed a safe space. Tomorrow night, our RF Matt as well as a few of the staff will be in the dining hall with Domino’s at 8PM, for those of you who’d like to decompress from tomorrow’s events, and for those who’d like to decompress period (week 8 blues, amirite).
WE WANT TO BE VERY CLEAR THAT ALL RESIDENTS WILL BE RESPECTED REGARDLESS OF THEIR INDIVIDUAL VIEWS.
Murray is your home away from home, and we as a staff want to be sure that everyone feels safe and welcome.
