How many Berlin playgrounds feature facsimile churches topped with crosses? Maybe there are plenty, but somehow I doubt it. Such playgrounds might offend Muslims. And meanwhile, a French high court has ordered the removal of a large cross over a statue of Pope John Paul II. Europe’s Christian culture is everywhere in retreat, and Islam on the advance. Imagine what Berlin will be like in ten years.
“Islamic or oriental? Berlin playground topped with crescent moon sparks controversy (VIDEO),” RT, November 4, 2017:
A newly built children’s playground in Berlin has caused quite a mixed reaction. With one of its playhouses featuring a dome crowned with a crescent moon, some say it represents a mosque, while others claim it’s simply an “oriental castle.”
The park is located in Berlin’s municipality of Neukölln, which is known for its high percentage of residents with immigrant backgrounds. The playground was part of a larger project for which the authorities allocated €220,000.
However, some locals were surprised to see what looked like a mini version of a mosque, complete with a crescent moon and four minarets peeking over the construction fence. Arguing there might be a religious statement behind it, some say that taxpayer money should not be spent on funding such projects.
“Playgrounds are good for children, it is good to invest money in social projects. But in my opinion religion, no matter which one – Christianity, Islam, Judaism – should be private and not be financed by tax payers’ money,” one local resident told Ruptly news agency.
A Twitter user apparently disturbed by the construction has recently posted “Berlin Neukölln. Allahu Akbar!” On Friday, local BZ newspaper, which reported on the site, came out with a headline reading “Berlin builds a playground and what comes is hate, hate, hate.”
Burkard Dregger, who is a spokesperson for the integration policy of Angela Merkel’s CDU party in Berlin also voiced his concerns. “Presumably, some clerk has come up with this highly questionable project, alleging that it would contribute to a [better] understanding between the nationalities,” Dregger noted.
Others saw nothing wrong with it. “Many Muslim children live here, so why not. Maybe that’s how people feel even better integrated in the society, instead of feeling excluded,” a Berlin resident told Ruptly. “It should be nothing special. When you see a cross somewhere, it doesn’t mean you immediately want to Christianize.”
“This mosque design is very good because it represents a different culture, such as Islam here. For my children this is great,” another man, a refugee from Syria now living in Berlin, said….

“oriental castle.” Yes, like the Hagia Sophia with stylized prayer towers. I have friend who is Chinese and he says there are no “oriental castles”. Of course, China will invite Islam, along with Japan, and the Koreas to have some of these delightful apparitions built in their children’s playgrounds.

“Oriental castle”, lol. Yes, words have no meaning at all. How about ‘Asian gaming structure’?
Has CNN been around? This is the type of thing they’d dream up.

The ‘onion’ domes of Hagia Sophia are not Mohammadin. It is original Byzantine architecture. And the crescent moon on its side was the city emblem of Constantinople. Remember, the Arabs and Mohammadins are shameless thieves.

….”contributing to a better understanding between nationalities.” Obviously, Germany is too chicken-hearted to assert itself as a European nation. Well, to hell with Germany, it will become a big, dark, nothing on the map of Europe. The USAF and Royal Air Forces fell short of making Germany a vast stretch of desert, but who knew this country had no national after its defeats for following Hitler and his Nazis? Its presence in Europe serves to poison the rest of the weak Euro Union countries. Its national lunacy will spread, consequently endangering adjacent nations and the EU in general. Germany’s cowardly retreat to eventual oblivion is on the march, its contention that “many Muslim children live here” begs the question of whether it has any concern for its ethnic German children, because it would appear that ethnic Germans are merely taken for granted as Muslim criminality is in its pursuit to convert or kill non-Muslims is accepted by the Merkel government, recently reelected no less!

“Good job at promoting a playground for Muslim youth,” the Mayor grinned. “You’ll receive a bonus this year, Klaus, for sure.”
Klaus the builder smiled humbly.
“Thanks, boss. Hey, the project spoke to me, promoting diversity and all. Maybe next step we could build a Church-themed playground? Or a synagogue-themed one? The kids could exchange over their faith…”
Klaus’ smile disappeared as the Mayor tutted in disgust, sighing.
“There goes your bonus, Klaus. Why would piglets and baby apes get their own infidel playground? No, no. Send ’em to that one, and dont forget to put in a 9/11 muppet show, from the untold perspective of the Taliban.”
Dum Spiro says
As long as it’s taller than any other “crusader” playground structure, it will be sharia compliant. Just don’t bring any haram kafir food into it.

I wonder what would happen if they put an even taller playground cathedral there? Something like that could help balance things…

It seems that this playground is part of a series of themed playgrounds in the area. Others are made up to look like “Captain Bluebear”, “Robin Hood” “pipi langstrumpf” and “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves.”
This one is Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, a fairly popular story that kids grow up with in Germany and Switzerland, according to my Swiss wife.
There is a day care that has the Ali Baba name in the area also.
http://www.kinderladen-ali-baba.de/
It’s all definitely multiculturalism, as the day care prides itself on celebrating muslim and christian festive days etc. It is very close to the new playground:

Apart from the crescent moon symbol, which i’d rather not see anywhere, it’s not that much of a concern imho.

I looked at the pictures of the “Robin Hood” playground. It allows for open-ended and imaginative play. The structures lend themselves to imaginative play: children could imagine they are in all sorts of places being all sorts of people. Definitely “cool.” Nothing about it has to be “Robin Hood” except for the name which children wouldn’t necessarily associate with anything.
(It doesn’t look like the same designer or of the same series as the “oriental castle.”)
LeftisruiningCanada says
I’m just finding that, once we place this Ali Baba playground in the context of all the other themed playgrounds in Berlin, it loses some of it’s shock value.
Don’t get me wrong. As i said, that silly and oversized crescent is wrong and should never have been included in the design. It is so overt that it was likely placed there on purpose by somebody pro-islam or whatever. The rest of the design seems alright to me. The colors and shapes would have been fun as kids im sure.
The question is if these arabic/islamic themes should be put on display at a time when Germany is experiencing the migrant crisis it is currently having. In that regards it could be poorly timed.
Anyway, there is one with a nice Knights Templer Cross on it too:
http://www.haeckel-os.cidsnet.de/site/proj/projektwochen/spielplatzerkundung/images/img_1410.jpg
There are other images showing that the Cross emblem is present multiple times at most of the entrances to the castle structure.http://www.haeckel-os.cidsnet.de/site/proj/projektwochen/spielplatzerkundung/images/img_1410.jpg
And another arabian themed one “1001 Nights”:

The play mosque is horrid. Parents of all other faiths should be up in arms. This is a way to indoctrinate young children, get them used to a thing, play it.
What about the Christian refugees? Oh that’s right— we didn’t let many of them in anyway.

But this isn’t a “different culture”–it is the culture of the speaker, almost certainly a Muslim from Syria.
So he meant “different” from the mainstream culture of Germany.
But would he have had such glowing words if the playground structure had been some else “different”–like a design based on a Hindu Temple? I would guess not…

Make this the headline after the next violent act of Islamic worship in Berlin.
A symbol of non-integration, supremacism, conquest, and forever hostility with your society makes Muslim kiddies feel not so excluded. Because, they are not assimilating into your society they are assimilating your society into theirs, Dummkopf.

This playground is a fitting symbol of Islamic replacement theology, which is the driving principle of Muslim invasion in the West. Now children are targeted for subtle seduction with the approval of mindless legal authorities.

1. So anything that is ‘different’ is automatically ‘good’, is it? Like, for example, cancer cells in a specimen that would be ‘different’ from the normal cells? A very apt comparison, because the effect of islam in a civilised western society parallels the effects of cancer.
2. If this quote is from a man from Syria, then the mosque for him would not represent a ‘different culture’ – it would be his own culture. The ‘different’ culture’ for this man would be the indigenous German (Christian) culture, which, according to what he says, he should find ‘good’. But that isn’t what he’s saying. He’s a blatant bigoted cultural imperialist and he’s just interested in foisting his rubbish onto the locals because he’s only interested in himself. Furthermore he clearly intends to indoctrinate his children with his own bigotry since he says this mosque is supposed to be so ‘good’ for them!
3. Why is this ‘mosque’ here anyway? Is there a tradition of having places of worship (churches) in German playgrounds? Let’s see a few of them.

Not that others haven’t already pointed this out, but two things I’ve been awaiting with dread are the changing of place names (via democratic vote) toward Islamic names, and the adhan (Islamic call to prayer). The latter will probably start at special occasions/holidays, perhaps move to Fridays, and then become routine as it is in dar-al-Islam. Well, it’s here.

This needs to be stopped immediatly. Total take over is not far away once they get going like this.

Thanks for the video Georg, it is a good reminder of where we’re headed, and how evil the call to prayer is.
