Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Paris cancels Christmas market; holds special Ramadan party every year

Nov 13, 2017 3:37 pm By Robert Spencer

Meet the new France, not the same as the old France. If Charles Martel were to reappear in France today, he would be denounced as an “Islamophobe.”

“Paris cancels Christmas market; holds special Ramadan party every year,” Voice of Europe, November 11, 2017 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):

The Champs-Élysées Christmas market in Paris has been cancelled by City Hall councillors. It is considered the city’s main Christmas market and welcomes 15 million visitors every year.

According to a spokesperson of the City Hall, the French capital “wants to focus on offering visitors and Parisians more attractive and innovative events that will enhance the Champs-Élysées in a cultural and aesthetic dimension in keeping with this exceptional site”.

Since 2008 this market in Paris has been organised by Marcel Campion but due to a long-term dispute the contract was terminated this year.

According to Jean-François Martins, Deputy Mayor in charge of tourism at City Hall, the “market wasn’t good enough for Paris.”

But Mr. Champion denies that the market sells poor quality goods: “We have a six-year contract with the city which is being called into question after only two years”.

Isn’t it strange that a city that organises special Ramadan parties every year can’t organise a relatively simple Christmas market? Or is there something else going on?…

It is normal, nobody is going to use a truck to kill Muslims during the Ramadan, the risk is minimal. As soon as there are Muslims, other parties that are not Islamic can not be celebrated freely and without risk.

Sad news. Christmas markets in European towns are so nice.
Much better than the fake fasting of mohammads spiritual offspring.

Wonder if many other places will move away from events like this, because of their badly behaved, culturally enriching, new neighbors?

      Agreed, very sad.
Fifteen million a year yet it’s “not good enough for Paris”..
That silly bit from City Hall translates to “certain communities of Parisians are offended/insulted by the idea of Christmas, will get fired up at Friday prayers and burn the market to the ground, we can’t guarantee visitors’ safety. Get used to life in the new Paris.”

I can imagine the Hungarians, Czechs and Poles would have wonderful Christmas markets, Claire. They still have a strong faith in their Christian, civilised values unlike so many of the sell-out merchants who seem to run things in nations like France, the UK, et al, who seem to just cave in all the time to the MUslim invaders. These PC types need to grow a backbone and stand up for our western values against the barbaric Muslim hordes and their garbage ( such as Ramadan which usually seems to just bring more terrorism).

Always a great Christmas market in the old market square in Prague. We love going there.
The best one we’ve been to in France is in Amiens. Amiens has a large mohammedan population so watch out for future cancellation there. I understand it’s going ahead this year.

Last year I understand Coventry Cathedral had a 24 hour armed guard outside its Christmas nativity scene. Yes an armed security team to guard a display of plaster figurines. Guard them with guns from whom? I have now moved from the UK to Budapest.

Here in the north of Spain are very traditional markets, fairs of farmers who show their products … it is a tradition, formerly it was done out of necessity but now they are traditional events. Since the Muslims have come, there are now trucks blocking the accesses to avoid attacks. We no longer live in peace.

I think France is leading followed by Sweden. In both countries the streets are already burning and France has been terrorized with truck-attacks and other murderous attacks. Germany is not yet focused by the terrorists because here they get free housing, medical care and on top cash.

    • c matt says

      Nov 14, 2017 at 5:23 pm

France certainly jumped to an early lead, getting out of the gate sooner than the other dhimmi contenders. But I dare say Germany has caught up, if not passed France, and GB, Sweden and Holland are not far behind. Italy would be in the running, but they seem to be a mere stepping stone to greener pastures, so they can’t seem to hold on to their cultural enrichers for too long before they move on (although they seem to have a constant flow keeping their numbers at least stable).

The dhimmi race is definitely getting tighter in the home stretch.

”Isn’t it strange that a city that organises special Ramadan parties every year can’t organise a relatively simple Christmas market? Or is there something else going on?…” –

That of cause is a leading question and it leads to the answer that Ramadan parties and Christmas markets are mutually exclusive phenomena that can’t exist in the same country: Multi-culture gone bad and turned into Mute-a-culture.

    • eduardo odraude says

      Islam gradually crushes multiculturalism

For example, in Sahih Muslim, a canonical hadith collection:

      Book 19.4366

It has been narrated by ‘Umar b. al-Khattib that he heard the Messenger of Allah [Muhammad] (may peace be upon him) say: ‘I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.’ “

Surrender, i.e., submission to Islam. Wait until they will close all artistic institutions (theaters, opera houses, philharmonics) in France in order not to “offend” Mohammedans sensibilities! They already banned certain performances: they will never allow presentation of Reyer’s opera La statue for instance. Proscribed list will go larger and larger along growing Islamization, be certain of that!

This is the France that put up a “sculpture” called the Queen’s Vagina at Versailles a couple of years ago. Now a Christmas market is too tacky for Paris. Time for a regime change in your elite, camarades. Unless the French deserve the “surrender monkeys” slur.

    • MFritz says

      Nov 13, 2017 at 11:37 pm

Please don’t talk like the typical Breitbart commentator who always blames the left. It’s not along the left/right division but globalist/nationalist. And most political parties have been corrupted and bought out by the globalists.

For France that means that Sarkozy AND Hollande both tolerated islam taking over the country. And Macron is a globalist first and foremost. Hell, he was even LAUDED by Merkel for that reason.

      • LeftisruiningCanada says

        Nov 14, 2017 at 12:32 am

I see what your saying, and also agree that it is too simple to just say that the “left” did it.

But it is a useful shorthand to describe the general impression and direction of current events.

It may be that the confusing mix of directions seen is because the driving force behind it all claims for itself to be neither of the left or the right, but the fabled “Third Way”.

Which is fascism of course, a notoriously slippery beast to pin down, being, as it is, untethered from the concrete and definable.

        • Flavius Claudius Iulianus says

          Nov 14, 2017 at 2:05 am

Actually, Breitbart news is heavy on pushing the globalist/nationalist polarity thing. So you got that one backwards. (Bannon is always talking about ‘the Globalists this’ and ‘the Globalist that.’)

This Globalist/Nationalist polarity is not a new distinction; it can be bound, with few exceptions, to the old Left/Right descriptor. The Left tends to be Internationalist (Globalist) and Supremacist. The Right tends to be Nationalist and Isolationist. The Communist revolution movement has always been an international one. The impulse to support the nation state has always been conservative.

The Left (Communism/Socialism/Internationalism) has a long history of supporting Mohammadism. Mohammadism, just like the Left, is an Internationalist belief system. The two even operate in a similar fashion. They are both totalitarian in nature; ‘the few know what is best for the many.’ They both believe that ALL of humanity must be made to follow their ideology for there to be peace and prosperity. But these two ideologies are impossible to implement. All attempts end in failure. And in attempting to implement and maintain these two ideologies huge numbers of people have been forced to live in misery; many have lost their lives. “The end justifies the means” and “when the entire earth follows the law of Allah – by whatever means possible – then there will be peace” have the same modus operandi.

And just because a politician says they are Right or Left of centre doesn’t mean they are. Their policies need to be examined for that to be determined. For example, the federal Conservatives of Canada are in fact mostly Centrists. Remember France is full of Communists who often call themselves moderates. What is a Centrist in Europe would be considered far Left in North America.

I know several people in France and their attitude is that of ‘only Fascists would not vote for the political Left.’ And to want the Mohammadin migrants out of France is to be an intolerant ‘Fascist.’ They know the political Left is killing Europe but they can’t help themselves. They feel themselves morally and intellectually superior to those who would vote for the Right, and they want that nice comfy feeling, despite knowing that the end will not be a good one.

Yeah, great points, well explained. That last sentence sums it up perfectly. It’s all about that feeling. To me it seems a kind of secular replacement for feelings of religious piety.

        • Flavius Claudius Iulianus says

          Nov 14, 2017 at 8:54 pm

“To me it seems a kind of secular replacement for feelings of religious piety.”

I never thought of it that way but that is a very good point.

I know someone who lived through part of the Soviet era in Russia. He said the Communist Party meetings emotionally resembled some of the prayer meetings that has he witnessed here in the West.

        • LeftisruiningCanada says

          Nov 15, 2017 at 2:50 pm

The more you look into it, the more that it seems as if :
          Communism = Religion for Atheists

Not all atheists of course, but you get the meaning. It fits so well – the belief and faith in an impersonal force guiding all of history and the actions of mean towards an eschatological utopia of peaceful, sinless, perfection.

Accepted deeply, and it is certainly a cause to inspire…and to die for.
Listening to interviews with military leaders from the N Vietnam communist army, and they say clearly how their faith in the dialectic kept them going through extremely hard conditions. Same for Chinese communists and all they went through…and even when they had doubts, they fell back on that faith.

Would be interesting to talk with someone from those times.

And now they’re reaping what they’ve sown.

  20. Peter Laman says

    Nov 14, 2017 at 11:42 am

Now this is a bit misleading, because you relate two things (the christmas market and ramadan parties), that are totally unrelated. First of all, the former is a non-religious event – or do you think a christmas market has anything to do with christianity, because of the word ‘christmas’? The latter is religious. The headline suggests the christmas market is no longer origanized in favor of ramadan parties, but the two things are completely unrelated. The is far-fetched at best.
The report states that the christmas market was not considered good enough, which is not a religious consideration.

    • gravenimage says

      Nov 15, 2017 at 12:54 am

The Christmas market is French culture; the Ramadan party is the culture of the invading Muslims.

The Ramadan party is ongoing; the Christmas market has been canceled.

This is more Islamizing of France–the idea that this is not an issue is only true if you want to live under Islam at some time in the near future.

It should be a real wake up sign if your own police force is committing so may suicides . They really do know what is going on. As a president of a country, that would make me so upset.
How spineless can governments be, now in my opinion there must be big sums of money involved, either
by moslim countries, or big companies, or by the NWO, something big must be behind this all. Even leftists can not be that stupid. Because they must be planning to kill the Jews and the whites, the infidels , the apostates, etc. and leftists are not bothered by that. But they will kill you after us, they will take all your properties and money and your children, but you will go into the historybooks, not as the lovely people who accepted all, and smothered the most violent race in the world and let their children and grandchildren live under Sharia law, were totally spineless and traitors of their own governments
and citizens. Enjoy your ramadan. We will remember you at Christmas.

I think there have to be new laws, that foreigners before they can become members of parliaments or councils after they get their citizenship, should at least live 10 years in a country after they get their citizenship, before they can enter governments.
What do you get, people who come here, don’t even know a country, they start and try to get votes right away, mostly votes from their own people and those newcomers start to do what is all nice for their own people and the countries own citizens are put outside. It is really a shame, and you the EU are a shame too, still in your castles, but for how long. Everybody their own kingdom he? When I look at you putting on your nice speeches on TV, I really have to laugh about all the lying , you and the arrogant straight faces. But everything will become transparant, all the lies will come outing no one can escape that and you will feel ashamed. And so it is written, and you don’t believe it. What a pity for you.
