Yesterday I reported about how Stanford officials Nanci Howe and Snehal Naik actively aided and abetted the destruction of my event at Stanford University, making sure that the room was packed with student fascists who quickly walked out, and then barring those who wanted to come in from entering.
Now Naik has responded on his Twitter account, but not to the charge that he deliberately sabotaged the event, but only to the fact that I took notice of his ratty jacket:
Mr. Naik, let’s be clear: I don’t care about your jacket. I care about your fascism. The fact that you issue no denial to the charges is extremely revealing. You should have already been fired from Stanford, but I understand that you were just following orders from your superiors, Stanford President Marc Tessier-Lavigne and Provost Persis Drell, and it is they who are responsible, and should be removed from office. Since universities today have so little respect for free inquiry and open discussion, however, they will not be called to account, either. Instead, they are probably today basking in the praise of their colleagues for their suppression of dissenting opinions.
