The salient detail that the Daily Mail sees fit to include about the arrested person is that he is a “31-year-old man.” That’s it.
Do 31-year-old men have some particular propensity for terrorism? Or is there some other detail about this “man” that might better explain why he got involved in terror plotting?
Why is the Mail being so very tight-lipped? What group are they trying to protect, and for what reason?
Assistant chief constable Tim Jacques of Lancashire Police said: “‘If you see anything that causes concern, then let us know immediately. Look out for anything that seems out of place, unusual or doesn’t seem to fit in with day-to-day life. It may be nothing, but if you see or hear anything that could be terrorist-related then trust your instinct and call us in confidence on 0800 789 321, or in an emergency 999.”
Questions for Tim Jacques of the Lancashire Police:
1. How can the public know what to watch for if you law enforcement authorities and the establishment media are so closemouthed about what kind of people are likely to commit acts of terrorism?
2. If someone calls you and reports a Muslim on suspicion of jihad terror plotting, would you prosecute the person doing the reporting for “Islamophobia”? How much have your “anti-Islamophobia” initiatives had a chilling effect upon Britons who might have reported jihad terror activity but now don’t dare, for fear of ruining their own lives?
“Anti-terror police storm Lancashire town and arrest 31-year-old man on suspicion of ‘plotting attack,'” by Richard Spillett, Mailonline, November 22, 2017:
A man has been arrested under the Terrorism Act after police carried out warrants at two properties in Lancashire.
Police said the 31-year-old man from Nelson was arrested at about 11.15am on Wednesday on suspicion of being concerned in the preparation of acts of terrorism.
He is being held in custody and will be questioned by detectives.
Two properties on Leonard Street in Nelson are being searched after the warrants were carried out by Lancashire Police and Counter Terrorism Policing officers….
One of the houses, three doors apart, being searched was unoccupied, according to one neighbour.
The woman, who did not wish to be named, said: ‘I am shocked that there has been an arrest here because it’s so quiet.
‘I have not seen or heard anything suspicious myself.’
Assistant chief constable Tim Jacques of Lancashire Police said: ‘I recognise that events like this can cause people to worry and impact on wider public confidence….
He added: ‘In relation to the threat posed by terrorism, it is critical that the public work with us and remain vigilant.
‘If you see anything that causes concern, then let us know immediately. Look out for anything that seems out of place, unusual or doesn’t seem to fit in with day-to-day life.
‘It may be nothing, but if you see or hear anything that could be terrorist-related then trust your instinct and call us in confidence on 0800 789 321, or in an emergency 999.’

Well, that about half the population of London now.

I wonder whether the 31-year old man reads the Koran ?

Spot on, James.

James, unfortunately a lot of ‘infidels’ are having to read the Koran, to find out the truth about Islam.
Take a look at this: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/quran/violence.aspx

Read the book “Eurabia” and you will see where and when the politically correct policy started in Europe. What was the context, the intent, the plan.

Shocking! Such a racist, genderist, sexist headline… a…**man** !! This is politically incorrect, nay: Outright disgusting!
Surely, The Mail could have used another headline, such as; “A 31 old person, which is possibly humanoid and non-feminin, non-transgender, non-bisexual, non-homosexual was temporarily deprived of its human rights; if such are applicable.”
There, that’s not too difficult, is it?
Consider the implications: if the person concerned is a multiculturally enriching member of OUR society, the mere fact that this person is called “a man” could cause prejudice against that person. And this could cause a minor offense, such as making a bomb, to be blown out [ 🙂 ] of all proportion. Of course, if he is white, or a non-Muslim, or even anti-socialist, CRUCIFY the Nazi! Unless he is a Christian, just as bad of course, then… Burn the witch!
You see how easy it all is, to be politically correct, all it takes is a little effort. Why does no one care?

You are demonizing people who are 31 years old. It’s not their fault. He is a victim, now. If the article contains any facts, then it has degenerated into finger pointing.

Using one of those rare phone boxes which have all but disappeared since the era of mobile phones, carrying a change of clothes and wearing a hoodie, a call could be made, wearing gloves and covering the mouthpiece, using the Crimestoppers number and leaving no personal details.
Changing in a nearby clothing shop, having pretended to try on a couple of items, the concerned citizen would then have done their civic duty, hopefully without being recognised by the CCTV.
(Think I’ll go and write a crime novel!)

Well, when we are talking about 31 year old males – does that mean that I as a female, should freak the eff out, every-time I spot a random adult male walking up or down my street? Hell, I had two this morning, both older, one a white European of some sort (maybe a Slav) and one of some sort of Asian descent, perhaps Chinese – who were wandering up and down. They looked out of place. Something was off.
They eventually knocked on my door – and tried to give me a Jehovah’s Witness pamphlet.
Phew! Its a good thing I didn’t ring the Police! After all, I had two men of indeterminate age, wandering in my street, who looked out of place and who I didn’t recognize. That;s the criteria apparently. Just blame a gender that makes up HALF of the entire human species. That’ll work, a charm, apparently
Way to go, UK Police. Let’s just blame all men now. What a ridiculous notion.

“Let’s all just blame men now”. I think you’ll find they started that game some time ago in the UK. And if there isn’t anything that they can deliberately misinterpret or exxaggerste from about two centuries ago, they’ve been known to make it up. And get away with it.

That’s the way they work. If they’ve got any brain, they know how to put on the ‘nice’ act whilst putting bombs together in the garden shed.

This causes me concern: Muslims marching through our streets shouting “death to the police”(Luton, a couple of years ago. The police took no action). A white British woman was gang raped by Muslims. The CPS would not prosecute. They refused to allow a private prosecution.
Muslims seem out of place. That is another concern.
