Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Islamic State threatens Egyptian Christians with “a river of blood”

Dec 28, 2017 3:55 pm By Christine Douglass-Williams

The Islamic State “has warned Christians living in Egypt that they will pay for their faith with ‘a river of blood.’” It is appalling that while Christians continue to be persecuted by jihadists, far too many Westerners are concerned instead about the victimization of Muslims in the West, which is bogus.

“God gave orders to kill every infidel,” one of the militants carrying an AK-47 rifle said.

Jews and blacks remain the groups most targeted for hate crimes. The victimhood narrative is really a clever way to foist Islamic blasphemy laws on the West through the “Islamophobia” canard. All the while, Christians and other minority groups suffer.

Last Friday, hundreds of Muslim demonstrators attacked a Christian church south of Cairo, wounding three people in the latest assault on members of the country’s Christian minority.

“Report: Egyptian Christians Forced to Flee from Islamic State ‘River of Blood’”, by Thomas D. Williams, Breitbart, December 27, 2017:

Egyptian Christians, who celebrate Christmas on January 6, the feast of the Epiphany, are “bracing themselves for another onslaught in the festive period,” according to a new report.

At least 115 Coptic Christians have been killed in Egypt by Islamic State militants this year, and the Islamic State (ISIS) has warned Christians living in Egypt that they will pay for their faith with “a river of blood,” according to the report by Bel Trew, writing for the Times.

Last Friday, hundreds of Muslim demonstrators attacked a Christian church south of Cairo, wounding three people in the latest assault on members of the country’s Christian minority.

Demonstrators gathered outside the building and stormed it after Friday prayers, chanting anti-Christian slogans and calling for the church’s demolition. The demonstrators destroyed the church’s contents and assaulted Christians inside before security personnel arrived and dispersed them.

The protesters justified their assault by saying that the church in Giza just outside of Cairo has not been licensed by the state, but Christians have been holding prayers there for 15 years. The diocese said it had officially sought to legalize the building’s status under a 2016 law that laid down the rules for building churches.

In his report from Ismailia, Trew said that fighters from the Islamic State terror group “have stormed Christian homes, businesses, churches and cathedrals and have fired on buses of Coptic pilgrims” and “more than 300 Christian families fled north Sinai” after jihadists started systematically slaughtering the Christians last spring.

A woman identified only as “Mariam,” whose husband was among those whom ISIS killed, said that the situation in Arish, Sinai, is getting harder. After her husband was killed in May, “Christians there realised they would never be safe.”

“Some families go back to check on their homes but it’s usually only women,” she added. “They have to be extra careful, they always take supplies with them so they don’t risk going to the shops. They keep their doors and windows bolted. Some just stay in the church there.”

In a video released this year, an Islamic State group affiliate in Egypt showed the suicide bomber who killed nearly 30 people in a packed church last December while vowing more attacks on the country’s Christians.

A narrator in the video declared that Egyptian Christians are the extremist group’s “favorite prey.”

The voice-over says that Christians are no longer “dhimmis,” a reference to non-Muslims in Islam who enjoy a degree of state protection but are simply “infidels” who are empowering the West against Muslim nations.

“God gave orders to kill every infidel,” one of the militants carrying an AK-47 rifle said in the video.

President Sisi recently vowed to crush the Islamic State in Sinai within three months, after ISIS militants stormed a Sufi mosque near Arish last month, killing more than 300 people in the single-largest terrorist attack in Egyptian history.

“You can use all brute force necessary,” Sisi told his security forces.

The Interior Ministry has deployed 230,000 personnel to protect more than 2,900 religious buildings during Christmas, and the country has been under a state of emergency since suicide bombings struck two Coptic Christian churches on Palm Sunday last April, but Christians still live in fear of further attacks….

Now I know just how deeply the UK is in bed with Islam.
Theresa May, when there is a terrorist attack, tries to tell the UK it isn’t the true Islam – and frankly I don’t know anyone who believes her stupid statement, is now allowing ISIS troops to regroup – I think mainly in Afghanistan from where they can travel through other Islamic countries to carry out sorties those they hate the most – the Christians – the weak West wont stand up to them. They don’t carry out sorties against Israel – they know they would be made martyrs immediately.

“Theresa May, when there is a terrorist attack, tries to tell the UK it isn’t the true Islam – …”

Not just the government of the day but also the Royals: Charles likes to dress up as an Arab sheik and dance the sword dance. He tried to delay an attack by the UK’s military because it fell on the Ramadan. His son is best friends with Obama (re: Prince Harry’s interview of Obama). etc.

“[T]he weak West wont stand up to them.”

I don’t think it is the people of the West so much as their duplicitous, self-serving leadership. That leadership won’t stand up to them because they have an agenda that serves them and not the people they are suppose to be representing. (And they keep that agenda a secret.)

In this case, I believe Israel and the Neocons want Saudi Arabia to fight a proxy war against Iran (and its clients: Hezbollah, Assad, etc.). Or, at the very least, be a counteracting force against Iran’s growing imperialism. But this is stupidly shortsighted. If the Saudis are able to be a counteracting force against Iran then they risk becoming a hegeminous force themselves. And when that happens do you think they pull back on their worldwide support of Sunni terrorism (right now they are in the number one spot)? No. And the US and Israel will have aided them.

That’s what this civil war in Syria was all about. The Israelis want Assad out. They want him out because he is backed by Iran (and the fact that the golan heights have huge oil reserves under them) and right now Iran is Israel’s number one perceived bogeyman. All these rogue terrorist groups were created by this shortsighted process. Create a rebel force to fight your presently perceived enemy but …. oops …. you created an even bigger threat! The fact that IS was given a free pass out of Raqqa by US backed rebels proves it.

The Saudis will never be long term allies to Israel so the Israelis (and the US) are playing a very dangerous, foolish game. And at the end of the day, does this make things better for the average American? No. In fact, if all-out war breaks out between the Iran and the Saudis who will be picking up the tab? Which soldiers will be fighting? My guess is American soldiers will be fighting and dying. (The best predictor of the future is the past.)

“Oh, good grief, Flavius–the idea that the bad old West created Jihadists is just silly.”

So the Americans fight IS for months…years and get nowhere. And then the Russians, with an inferior military, do the job in a matter of months! Something’s fishy there.
And all those pictures of McCain with Abu Bakr al Baghdadi and other rebel leaders are just Photoshopped. Yeah, right!
And no one denies that the CIA with its proxy war against the Russians in Afghanistan created/encouraged bin Laden the terrorist, the mujahideen and Al Qaeda (by dumping millions in aid and arms into Afghanistan via Pakistan). *Silly* or not, it’s part of the historical record. What I find *silly* is that the good people in your so called “intelligence” community, reputedly some of the smartest people around, continue to make the same *silly* mistakes over and over again.
Proxy wars always come around and bite you in back. Always!

          …………………………

Actually, the US under Trump was able to push back ISIS quite handily over the past year.

In any case, though, the idea that if Infidels are unable to eradicate all Jihad that they perforce created it makes little sense.

          http://www.globalresearch.ca/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Closeup-of-Al-Baghdadi-outside-with-McCain.jpg

I’ve never thought this looks much like Al Baghdadi, though.

There is no doubt, though, that McCain cluelessly assumed that if any group was opposing Assad–a tyrant–that they must be freedom fighters. This has been foolish and quite harmful.

This does not, however, mean that John McCain is a Jihadist.

Actually, almost no one knew much about Jihad in 1979–the Soviet Union still appeared to be a major threat, though.

The idea that the evil US created Jihad because they did not like the Ruskies is, I’m afraid, just silly.

You *do* know that Jihad dates back 1400 years, 1200 years before the mean old United States even existed?

From your arguments, gravenimage, it sounds like you believe that people (and nations) must form evil intentions in order to create evil outcomes. Nothing could be further from the truth. Perhaps you’ve heard the expression: the path to hell is paved with good intentions. I’m sure most parties involved had the best of intentions. I’m sure McCain, the CIA thought they were doing the best for America, the world and the Middle East but that’s not how it played out. Only God knows what mixture of bad intentions, good intentions, ignorance, incompetence, competence and lack of wisdom played into all these situations but no one can argue that they all had bad outcomes.

Einstein is reputed to have said that insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I would go further and say that in many instances it is also evil. So why are these bad ‘recipes’ being used over and over again?

One of Trump’s important election promises was ‘no more nation building.’ I believe that he has the wisdom to know that this notion of ‘nation building’ has gotten his great nation into trouble and it has done it not much good. And I am sure he is fully aware that the US has always prospered when it was more isolationist. But that promise does not seem to be coming to fruition.

Many on this site are sharply critical of all those who are willfully ignorant of jihad terror: “if only those people would just open their eyes and ears for just one moment – then they would see.” But they are blinkered and don’t want to know. Are others also blinkered about anything that has the stamp “made in the USA” on it? I’ve known many Americans and some are freely willing admit that America is not perfect. As one of my good American friend once said to me, “if we’re blinkered to the faults of our own nation then how can we see them, acknowledge them and then rectify them, and bring America even closer to perfection?”

And no, I don’t believe that the US created jihad. (That was a cheap shot; you know very well from my comments posted here that I know better.) But I *do* know that dealing with the devil can and will get you burned.

Muslims themselves are constantly proving how horrible their religion is. If you want to rate religions by their moral and ethical standards Islam rests at the bottom and you don’t have to be an Islamic “scholar” to know it. All you have to do is listen to an Islamic “scholar” or an average Muslim or read the Quran. If they find out their words were recorded then they start up with the “for Western ears only” version of Islam along with the “taken out of context” crap. No wonder Islamists kill people. People look and think both of which are incompatible with Islam.

Ignorance of the MOST horrible enemy of humanity ever existed ISLAM is the main reason for the still existence of this criminal sect.
How the world defeated ideas like communism, fascism, Marxism…etc.?! Islam is no difference, actually more aggressive and spreading like cancer because the criminal Mohammad called it religion. The ONLY smart thing this devil achieved.
That is why I kept calling, for decades, for the declaration that Islam is NOT a religion, it is not.
I wonder how long the West would take this Islamic abuse and horrific crimes!!!

The Copts have been suffering the Islamic treatment for over 2000 years. It is becoming the way of life for them. But, is it fair???

The violent and vicious Muslims who are jihadists of ISIS in their murderous persecution of Christians aren’t really going to get away with their destruction of Christians. As the apostle Paul had written each individual Christian is actually, in the View of God, a temple of God. For to Christians, it is written in the Bible “Don’t you know that that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” First Corinthians 3:16,17. [N.I.V.] As in “A man reaps what he sows.” Galatians 6:7.
