In this new video, I recount how students and administrators at Stanford University emulated Nazi Brownshirts in disrupting his event there in November 2017.

Hello CRUSADER —- and every other reader of Jihad Watch who sees this post.
A favor to ask of you all, please: send a brief message of appreciation to Robert Spencer when a few spare minutes appear in your busy life today (12/24) and tomorrow.
Why? Well, for me and probably for you, too, he delivers a gift every time I open the JW web page. And he has done so for many years.
Who else prominent in our 21st Century American lives is equally generous? No one that I know of. So reciprocate a tiny bit, on one day a year.

Robert Spencer in this video gave a well-reasoned critique of the shabby treatment given to students with ideas that are not considered fashionable enough at Stanford.
The presumption that Stanford staff have ideas that are incontestable and beyond discussion is in itself a reason to discuss them! NO ONE IS INFALLIBLE, not even the Lord High Poobahs who pontificate ex cathedra at Stanford.
The fact that they cannot stand in a debate with Robert Spencer and refute him is evidence that they are not as infallible as they claim.
Message to Stanford staff … “AND YOU ARE NOT RUNNING AWAY FROM DEBATE…”

Jay Boo, I know you–and I, as well–strongly disagree with Mortimer on his unrealistic plan to “deprogram” Muslims. But he is otherwise a solid Anti-Jihadist and an important contributor here. His scholarship is especially a strong point.
Your considering him to be some sort of stealth Jihadist is–with the greatest respect–off base. And unless I have missed something important, I have never known him to post anti-Catholic material.
gravenimagesays
Hi, Jay Boo. I am not saying that Mortimer has never been anti-Catholic; just that I had never seen it. (By the way, I do not personally believe in papal infallibility, either).

HELLO JAY BOO — I am replying to your 2:09 + 2:14 comments. You, Mortimer and I are long-time posters of opinion here at JW. About 99% of the time, I am in agreement with you, but your replies to Mortimer are, in my opinion, off the mark for what he intended.
In no way did he veer into anti-Catholic spam. “. . . pontificate ex cathedra . . .” was used in a non-religious sense, as indicated by most of the content in that comment being directed at Stanford staff’s intolerant, cowardly, totalitarian, dishonest conduct.
MERRY CHRISTMANS TO ALL THE MUNCHKINS in our Counter-Jihad villages around this astonishing planet ! ! ! May your stockings be full of well-merited gifts when you arise at 5:00 AM tomorrow, noticing that Santa has consumed the cookies and milk thoughtfully left for him.

Spencer will not debate Dr. E.Michael Jones in public as Spencer would be exposed as the Zionist stooge that he is and be forced to answer questions not only about American and British Imperialism but the animosity of Judaism to Christianity.
If you read this comment, Spencer who hold yourself out to be a Catholic, I can arrange the debate–do you have the guts to accept?
gravenimagesays
Not only is Dr. E.Michael Jones a nasty antisemite–he *hates* Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East, and the only place there where Christians have freedom of worship and equal rights–he is a frequent apologist for Islamic terror.
He claims that ISIS and Iran cannot both be sponsors of Jihad terror, because they are rivals–which is just ludicrous.
Here he is, giving an interview to Iran’s notorious Press TV:
Even more insane, he has claimed that our only reason for conflict with Islam is “usury”–in other words, that Muslims raping, murdering, and forcibly converting us is fine, and that the real moral horrors are interest-bearing loans and mortgages. *Ugh*.
Robertsays
You should stop worshipping the gravenimage of Zionism and Talmudic Judaism–Mike Jones has never endorsed Islamic terror or terror of any kind so stop trying to put Mossad/ADL lies into his mouth.
The problem that he points out is that any claims of an Iranian/ISIS connection are illogical and self-contradictory. To the Anglo-American-Zionist connection-anyone or anything or opposes Israel is a terrorist.
I attempted to find the names of the Stanford persons mentioned in the video, as one of them is so peculiar that I had to see the spelling for myself, but the Stanford U website DOES NOT HAVE A LISTING OF FACULTY!!!!
Fascism is as Fascism does.

One of the roots of an event of this type is the tsunami of money floating around for which there is no accountability. Stanford receives both state and federal money. Both the US government and that of California have long since gotten too large to have the least accountability to any group of citizens without large war chests.
Stanford will lose non-minority, American students but will simply up its foreign enrollment and affirmative action admissions. The reputation of the school will deteriorate, but by the time that results in decreased foreign enrollments, the current crop of partisan, lick spittle administrator buffoons will have gone on to a well-endowed retirement or consultant position with some wealthy, tax-exempt, communist foundation.

There were several interesting reactions to the even at Stanford published in the Stanford Daily after the event. They can be found by searching Robert Spencer at Stanford Daily. One by Qi Yang, Ph.D. candidate in physics and his response to comments in the comments to the article was most interesting especially coming from a Chinese citizen and the comparison he sees between the Stanford administration actions and actions in China silencing and marginalizing those who don’t hold to the party line.

Just disgraceful what a litany of wrongness was perpetrated against Robert at Stanford.
Hard to believe the newspaper propaganda and stunt at his speech aren’t grounds for defamation and harassment — not to mention denial of his and others’ right to freedom of speech and assembly. And what of the collusion of faculty receiving taxpayer funding? That he brings up the zeitgeist is poignant in that this disgrace was on its surface egregious yet is becoming increasingly familiar on college campuses.

Thank you for your courage in upholding free speech in the face of fascist vilification.
The Universities in England appear to be, at least, as bad as Stanford. Their precious little snowflake students should not have to hear any opinion which offends them or with which they disagree. Universities were the very place to debate ideas and this new way of preventing other views from being heard is extremely worrying for the future.
