“Many ex-Muslims, such as Magdi Allam, are even leaving the Church, disgusted by her cowardice, wounded by equivocal gestures, confused by the lack of evangelization, scandalized by the praise given to Islam.”
Yes, and not just ex-Muslims. It has become a superdogma in the Catholic Church: if you don’t believe that Islam is a Religion of Peace, you will be ruthlessly harassed and silenced by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops and the hierarchy elsewhere as well. The bishops of the Catholic Church are much more concerned that you believe that Islam is a religion of peace than that you believe in, say, the Nicene Creed.
And the Pope is almost certain to ignore this heartfelt appeal, as he has ignored others who have respectfully questioned his departures from Catholic teaching. I have yet to meet a Catholic prelate who believes that the requirement to treat all charitably applies to those who hold opinions that have been deemed unacceptable.
“Leave them; they are blind guides. And if a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit.” (Matthew 15:14)
“Islamic Converts Ask Pope in Open Letter To Change His Teaching on Islam,” by Steve Skojec, OnePeterFive.com, January 11, 2018:
A new, open letter to the pope is making the rounds on the Internet, and it has gathered over 2,600 signatures so far.
“Most Holy Father,” it begins, “Many of us have tried to contact you, on many occasions and for several years, and we have never received the slightest acknowledgement of our letters or requests for meetings.”
The letter is not from the dubia cardinals, or from the more than 800,000 signers of the 2015 Filial Appeal, or from the signatories of the Filial Correction, but from a group of Islamic converts to Catholicism, who want Francis to answer a simple question: why did they literally risk their lives to become Catholic if Islam is “a good religion in itself” as the pope “seems to teach”?
It’s a question he refuses to answer, despite endless platitudes of how important it is to be close to the marginalized and to accompany those on the peripheries of the Church. The signers, however, are not dissuaded in their pursuit of a paternal answer:
You do not like to beat around the bush, and neither do we, so allow us to say frankly that we do not understand your teaching about Islam, as we read in paragraphs 252 and 253 of Evangelii Gaudium, because it does not account for the fact that Islam came AFTER Christ, and so is, and can only be, an Antichrist (see 1 Jn 2.22), and one of the most dangerous because it presents itself as the fulfillment of Revelation (of which Jesus would have been only a prophet). If Islam is a good religion in itself, as you seem to teach, why did we become Catholic? Do not your words question the soundness of the choice we made at the risk of our lives? Islam prescribes death for apostates (Quran 4.89, 8.7-11), do you know? How is it possible to compare Islamic violence with so-called Christian violence? “What is the relationship between Christ and Satan? What union is there between light and darkness? What association between the faithful and the unfaithful?” (2 Cor 6: 14-17)In accordance with His teaching (Lk 14:26), we preferred Him, the Christ, to our own life. Are we not in a good position to talk to you about Islam?
The letter makes short work of the notion that Islam and Christianity can ever be compatible, or that Islam can serve as a path to salvation:
In fact, as long as Islam wants us to be its enemy, we are, and all our protestations of friendship cannot change anything. As a proper Antichrist, Islam exists only as an enemy of all: “Between us and you there is enmity and hatred forever, until you believe in Allah alone!” (Qur’an 60.4) For the Qur’an, Christians “are only impurity” (Quran 9.28),” “the worst of Creation” (Qur’an 98.6), all condemned to Hell (Qur’an 4.48), so Allah must exterminate them (Quran 9.30). We must not be deceived by the Quranic verses deemed tolerant, because they have all been repealed by the verse of the Sword (Quran 9.5). Where the Gospel proclaims the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection for the salvation of all, and the fulfillment of the Covenant initiated with the Hebrews, Allah has nothing to offer but war and murder of the “infidels” in exchange for his paradise: “They fight on the way of Allah, they kill and are killed.” (Quran 9:11) We do not confuse Islam with Muslims, but if for you “dialogue” means the voice of peace, for Islam it’s only another way to make war. Also, as it was in the face of Nazism and communism, naiveté in the face of Islam is suicidal and very dangerous. How can you speak of peace and endorse Islam, as you seem to do: “To wring from our hearts the disease that plagues our lives (…) Let those who are Christians do it with the Bible and those who are Muslims do it with the Quran. “(Rome, January 20, 2014)? That the Pope seems to propose the Quran as a way of salvation, is that not cause for worry? Should we return to Islam?
The authors say that Islam can be no ally in the battle “against the powers that want to dominate and enslave the world” because “they share the same totalitarian logic based on the rejection of the kingship of Christ (Lk 4.7).” They contest the idea that speaking in an “Islamophilic tone” will help those Christians who are suffering persecution in Muslim countries, professing that “apart from the fact that Jesus has never indicated any other way than that of the Cross, so that we must find our joy therein and not flee with all the damned, we do not doubt that only the proclamation of the Truth brings with it not only salvation, but freedom as well (John 8.32).”
The letter also contrasts the stance of Islamic countries like Turkey and Saudi Arabia who “do not welcome any refugee” while Pope Francis preaches
the welcoming of migrants regardless of the fact that they are Muslims, something forbidden by Apostolic command: “If anyone comes to you but refuses this Gospel, do not receive him among you nor greet him. Whoever greets him participates in his evil works.” (2 John 1.10-11); “If anyone preaches to you a different Gospel, let him be accursed!” (Galatians 1.8-9)
The signatories go on to give voice to the utter scandal of the pope’s failure to carry out his evangelical mission as the Vicar of Christ to call home the members of the Islamic faith:
The pro-Islam speech of Your Holiness leads us to deplore the fact that Muslims are not invited to leave Islam, and that many ex-Muslims, such as Magdi Allam, are even leaving the Church, disgusted by her cowardice, wounded by equivocal gestures, confused by the lack of evangelization, scandalized by the praise given to Islam … Thus ignorant souls are misled…
Taking the matter further, they warn, too, of the physical danger the pope’s disposition toward Islam invites, saying that it has resulted in Christians
not preparing for a confrontation with Islam, to which St. John Paul II has called them (Ecclesia in Europa, No. 57). We are under the impression that you do not take your brother Bishop Nona Amel, Chaldean-Catholic Archbishop of Mosul in exile, seriously, when he tells us: “Our present sufferings are the prelude to those that you, Europeans and Western Christians, will suffer in the near future. I have lost my diocese. The headquarters of my archdiocese and my apostolate have been occupied by radical Islamists who want us to convert or die. (…) You are welcoming into your country an ever increasing number of Muslims. You are in danger as well. You must make strong and courageous decisions (…). You think that all men are equal, but Islam does not say that all men are equal. (…) If you do not understand this very quickly, you will become the victims of the enemy that you have invited into your home.” (August 9, 2014) “. This is a matter of life and death, and any complacency towards Islam is treasonous. We do not wish the West to continue with Islamization, nor that your actions contribute to it. Where then would we go to seek refuge?
The signatories plea is that the pope will “quickly convene a synod on the dangers of Islam.”
What remains of the Church where Islam has installed itself? If she still has civil rights, it is in dhimmitude, on the condition that she does not evangelize, thus denying her very essence. In the interest of justice and truth, the Church must bring to light why the arguments put forward by Islam to blaspheme the Christian faith are false. If the Church had the courage to do that, we do not doubt that millions, Muslims as well as other men and women seeking the true God, would convert. As you said: “He who does not pray to Christ, prays to the Devil.” (14.03.13) If people knew they were going to Hell, they would give their lives to Christ. (cf. Quran 3.55)…

We Christians in the west have turned our backsides to the plight of the Christians in the Muslim world..God is shedding tears..but God will not be mocked…I can make this statement without any doubt.

What a horrible betrayal for ex-Muslims, learning that the Pope is a liar and a politician. I’m all for “love thy enemy” and preaching love towards Muslims, but the Pope defending Islam is not a Christian value.
Johnny Cuyana says
RCCA, in full agreement with the context of your post, I was anticipating that your closing sentence, in the context of the message of the title of this article, would end differently:
“I’m all for “love thy enemy” and preaching love towards Muslims, but, in doing so, effectively, the Pope is defending [advocating] suicide … which, most obviously, is dangerous and NOT a Christian value.”
Lydia Church says
The problem is not ‘love your enemy,’ the problem is the love of false religion, sin, and evil.
And a few other things in the workings…
Champ says
Bravo, RCCA! I *wholly* agree with your comment.
John Stefan Obeda says
Jesus is our example. He loved His enemies, but His enemies crucified Him because Jesus dared to preach the truth and He also dared to tell them that their doctrine was wrong. Let us also dare to proclaim the truth and to dare tell those who hold on to false doctrine that their doctrine is false. And it is in Holy Scripture alone, the Bible, where we find the truth. For example, therefore, it is truly Jesus and no one else that died on the cross and rose from the dead and therefore, He alone is the Way, the Truth and the Life, the only Way to our heavenly Father. God bless us believers in His truths with courage so to preach to the Muslims and to all. And then, God help us to endure persecution.
Carol says
John…your first three sentences actually reveal – with great simplicity – that the pope is acting in opposition to the example Jesus set.
Your last two sentences however are unrealistic and maybe it’s time the wheat was separated from the chaff before MORE good people are evilly destroyed. The onus is on muslims now to wake up and accept more sophisticated understandings. If they aren’t “quick learners” (and don’t expect them to be) then more efforts to proselytize and endure further persecution is certainly not on my list of good deeds. Patience is one thing, being a doormat or enabler is another and WE are not the ones who deserve to suffer.

Dear Pope Francis,
Using Trigonometry, Muslims can accurately determine the proper dimensions of the crescent to be placed atop St. Peter’s Basilica in advance of actual possession. Do you think it should be silver or gold?
CogitoErgoSum says
It should be made so that it clearly shows interlocking sections of 30 distinct pieces of silver.

What an indictment of the Pope. And how richly he deserves it.
Francis has betrayed every Christian, and none more so that these brave ex-Muslims who risked so much to join his Church.

I understand your sentiment. But, popes can not be replaced.
Lydia Church says
Sadly true in many ways.
It is indeed… HIS church, not God’s.
The true church is made up of true Christians,
and not lead by a wolf like the pope.
Frank95054 says
Judge a man by his actions, not his words. By holding a joint mass with an Imam in the Vatican, the Pope has clearly demonstrated that he allowed Satan’s children into the Church to worship their god who is none other than Satan himself. What are we the Saints to say to the Lord on Judgement day when he asks us why we allowed this Pope to deceive so many? Where are the guardians of the Church? Why have they not acted to protect the Word of Christ? No man is above the Lord, least of all this treasonous Pope.
tim gallagher says
I agree with your comment, Frank95054, about the god of evil, murderous Islam being satanically evil. The Pope may as well hold a Mass with a bunch of Nazis joining in with the celebration. Islam and Nazism are equally evil. It’s just unbelievable that this Pope, he can’t possibly know any of the murderous content of the Koran, thinks evil Islam is acceptable.
Sam says
POPE is a communist. He can not be a Christian. How do I know? Look at his actions.

I do wish everyone would stop referring to the church as a “she”.
It is an “it”. No woman, in her right mind,
would ever create such a patriarchal doctrine.
Now “she” is being partly blamed for encouraging the destruction of western societies, nationalism, western laws and morality.
The church, the pope, have always sided with strength, when there was a guarantee to them of survival. This has been proven twice in our recent history, via WW1 and WW2.
Guy Forester says
OC:
I hope that was a bit of sarcasm, but hard to tell. Otherwise, please note that the New Testament makes numerous references to the Church (generic, as a body of believers) as the “bride of Christ”. or uses similar metaphors using the symbolism of a female. So, this goes back a long time. Unfortunately, the writers of the NT are no longer with us and unable to defend themselves nor give us an explanation for why they chose that symbolism.
Lydia Church says
It was by inspiration of the Holy Spirit.
The true… TRUE church, is the Bride of Christ as a whole.
Not to be confused with any organization or crazy leadership.
Glad so many are seeing through this wolf!

Yes it can be very difficult when those who wrote it did so hundreds of years after the fact and mainly from words passed down, resulting in many contradictions. I for one always wanted to know how Judas died. Matt. 27.5 hanged himself whereas Acts 1.28 he died of a fall. We will never know.
Mark Swan says
He hung himself—no one bothered to cut him down right away—he rotted and
his insides fell out onto the ground.

I think the great whore of Babylon riding atop the beast was a she.
Older Canadian says
Yes Ishtar. The Babylonian goddess during the matriarchal era of various pagan religions.
Poor dear had to be demonized.
Really enjoyed reading mythology when I was a kid, and still find it somewhat amusing.
Lydia Church says
That whore is alive and well.
The book of Revelation depicts her well.
It is very demonic. The book of Revelation is coded in symbolism
for a reason. But the key to its understanding is available to the
true seeker. Anyways…….
It is a conglomeration of sorts.
First in contrast to the virgin (pure and holy) Bride of Christ (the church),
this one is a harlot, a whore.
A whore does things for… money. Many things.
She also commits sexual sin. She is an adulteress in the sense of cheating on God via idolatry and false gods (see Old Testament).
We see that with the false church today.
This takes on many forms and denominations. They do many things for money.
Then they unite in ‘oneness,’ and embrace false religions with false gods (like islam), hence the ‘harlot.’ Sound familiar yet?
These false religions all join together in the end into one big, fat, ugly harlot.
The whole ‘woman’ is an abomination to God.
Christ is betrayed and she embraces antichrist, as in Revelation it says all will worship antichrist (beast #1) except the true Bride of Christ, who is loyal to Jesus.
So in the end, either you are in the Bride, or in the harlot.
If you don’t stand for Jesus, you fall for the antichrist.
There won’t be any middle ground.
This is spread out all over the Bible in puzzle pieces but a big part is in Rev. 13.
Believe it or not………….. that changes nothing.
Just be on the lookout for calls to ‘oneness,’ ‘inclusion,’ etc.
This is a big part of the current day apostasy of the church.
You can’t unite spiritually with false religion or sin.
Then you won’t be pure or holy.
We are called to be separate.
Read the Bible before it’s too late, and this warning is not for any one specific person.

Guy Forester says
I am no theologian, but these converts to the Catholic Church have certainly done their homework and have clearly stated their case and backed it up from the Bible and Catholic doctrine, not just their personal opinions and experiences.
Unfortunately, the protestant mainstream churches seem to be preaching the same drivel about a “religion of peace” and how Allah and the God of the Bible (YHWH) are the same. This cannot be true due to the rejection of the “Trinity,” which is a central belief of the Christian Church in general, not just the Roman Catholic Church.
Is this another example of what OPEC money can buy? Any other reasonable explanations? We can be humane and charitable to the needy, but that does not mean we need to accept their beliefs and behaviors. Those that work with the drug addicts, alcoholics, and mentally ill do not accept the self-destructive behaviors and/or delusions of their clients in order to help them. Just the opposite, the helpers direct them to sobriety and reality.
StellaSaidSo says
The Catholic Church has received enormous amounts of money for the facilitation of the settlement of Third World Muslim migrants in Western countries.
Excellent point, GF, about enabling destructive beliefs and behaviours.
Guy Forester says
SSS:
Yes, there is a financial gain from this.
Unfortunately, that funding is from the taxpaying citizen that is also being harmed by this type of migration. Governments give directly to NGO’s like the Catholic Charities, the UN provides funding for the migrants, and some funding comes from OPEC countries as well. Direct taxation and money spent on OPEC related products fuel this to our detriment.
LeftisruiningCanada says
Many people and leaders in all branches of Western Christianity have bought into socialist ideas and interpretations of the Church’s purpose in the world.
They believe that accepting as many ‘needy immigrants’ as possible is the only righteous thing to do.

We can’t rule anything out however, since all large organizations are merely collections of fallen sinners under the same banner.
What we can say however, is that there is nothing with the Bible or Roman Tradition which would allow or excuse child sex rings or other such evil things.
If you are looking for some kind of permission from ‘above’ to engage your evil fantasies, you could do a lot worse than following mohammad by becoming a muslim.

„Der Widerchrist“ (1907)
The Anti-Christ
“He comes from the mountain, he stands in the grove!
Our own eyes have seen it: the wine that he wove
From water, the corpses he wakens.”
O could you but hear it, at midnight my laugh:
My hour is striking; come step in my trap;
Now into my net stream the fishes.
The masses mass madder, both numbskull and sage;
They root up the arbours, they trample the grain;
Make way for the new Resurrected.
I’ll do for you everything heaven can do.
A hair-breadth is lacking – your gape too confused
To sense that your senses are stricken.
I make it all facile, the rare and the earned;
Here’s something like gold (I create it from dirt)
And something like scent, sap, and spices –
And what the great prophet himself never dared:
The art without sowing to reap out of air
The powers still lying fallow.
The Lord of the Flies is expanding his Reich;
All treasures, all blessings are swelling his might . . .
Down, down with the handful who doubt him!
Cheer louder, you dupes of the ambush of hell;
What’s left of life-essence, you squander its spells
And only on doomsday feel paupered.
You’ll hang out your tongues, but the trough has been drained;
You’ll panic like cattle whose farm is ablaze . . .
And dreadful the blast of the trumpet.

Yes, he will be crushed at the return of Jesus Christ.
Grateful to be one of the ‘handful’!

I agree with your comment, Cheer Bear Girl, the ex-Muslims actually know plenty about what Islam is really all about, having seen it from the inside. And I agree, this Pope is a complete dope on Islam. He either knows absolutely nothing about it or, far worse, understands Islam’s evil and yet seeks to promote its evil cause. It’s great to see these ex-Muslims trying to wake this Pope up and trying to get him to face the truth about Islam. I doubt whether this Pope will ever wake up. Aren’t Jesuits supposed to be the intellectuals and bankers of the Catholic world? So did this fellow fall on his head or something?
St. Manuel II Palaiologos says
Why would the Pope or the Papal Church care about refuting false and demonic deceptions? He’s in league with the Devil himself.
It’s a simple answer that requires no further exposition.
gravenimage says
The claim that the entire Catholic Church is in league with the Devil is just nuts.
In fact, the Catholic Church defended against Islam for centuries. None of us in the West would be free today if this were not so.
Indiana Tom says
Yeah, ask Charles Martel how much help he initially got from the Catholic Church.
gravenimage says
There seems to be some bizarre revisionist history these days that the Catholic Church threatened to excommunicate Charles Martel because he defended against Islam.
Except this is not true. Charles Martel seized Church lands and property in order to pay for a standing army, which was used more in wars of territorial consolidation than in opposing Jihad.
Actually, many rulers were threatened with excommunication by pontiffs–this was not unusual at the time.
In the end, he was not excommunicated, and he did a great deal to save Europe from Islam. The Popes supported this.
St. Manuel II Palaiologos says
Islam isn’t the only defining factor which shows the Roman Church’s demonic reality. It’s alliance with fascism and Nazism, it’s massive support for the colonial/imperialism project, which was against non-Romanists as much as it was against heathens, it’s massive support for burning and killing people who didn’t agree with it’s precepts throughout Europe including people who wanted to read the Bible in the vernacular, it’s support for several Third World dictatorships in the 20th century, it’s support for pedophilia, the mafia and financial oligarchs and it’s support for modernism.
All of those things indicate it’s true nature. Not just the Islamophilia it now tends to show. I’ll agree, it’s Islamophilia is very recent, after Vatican II, but it’s nature, of a vile, evil, corrupt and perverse creed lead by scam artists, swindlers, frauds and financial hustlers, is apparent from far before that time.
gravenimage says
Of course, St. Manuel II Palaiologos has claimed that no non-Orthodox Christians are actually Christian. This has *nothing* to do with the specific views of Pope Francis, but is an ugly hatred of Catholics (and Protestants) in general.
LeftisruiningCanada says
“All of those things indicate it’s true nature”
They indicate the true nature of Mankind.
That an organization can contain and be manipulated by sinners is hardly shocking.
Lydia Church says
Some are just ignorant of these things and mean no harm, but the leadership itself is.
The gospel has been compromised into being false.
Just read the Bible and compare it with the official vatican teachings on salvation if you don’t believe me.

Fine insights, gravenimage. Alas, anti-Catholic sentiment continues to be frequently expressed even by those who would otherwise be allies in the fight against Islam and other forces of evil.
One giveaway concerning those of typically bitter hatred is whenever they refer to things like the papal church or papists in a derogatory/sarcastic fashion.
I hope the converts do not leave the One True Church as that would be a mistake just because Pope Francis and some other church leaders are in the dark concerning Islam. Robert Spencer properly criticizes the Pope, but he remains a good son of the Church.
LeftisruiningCanada says
The one true Church is Christ’s worldwide body of regenerate believers, not a self important regional church organization 🙂
I won’t exclude you from possibly being in that group, but i’ve a feeling it might not be mutual.
DV says
To LeftisruiningCanada:
You are partly right. The One True Church is absolutely not a self important regional Church like all other churches who do not enjoy the Divine Commission of Jesus Christ like the Catholic Church enjoys.
Thanks for also making my point about the bitter hatred people like you have regarding the One True Church, and sorry you don’t accept Christ’s command to become part of His Church.
Of course, if you are invincibly ignorant (appears to be the case) regarding the One True Church, you can still find salvation so long as your pursuit of the truth is indeed objective.
In any case, I am confident that Mr. Spencer (a fine Catholic indeed) is not interested in turning this site into an apologetics debate among Christians, so I will simply direct you to solid Catholic sites like “Catholic Answers” to review/discover what the Catholic Church actually teaches, its true history, and its response to many of the nonsense claims that you and other proud people make against it and its claims.
Good Luck and God Bless.
LeftisruiningCanada says
Sure DV, just note that i expressed no hatred, bitter or otherwise.
I merely stated that your church organization doesn’t have the monopoly on being Christ’s Church. That upset you i see.
Of course you will read everything in the NT as pertaining to Rome. This is natural.
I’m thankful everyday that Christ has put me in His Church, the body of believers trusting in Him and Him alone for a right standing before God.
We can let Mr Spencer decide what he does and does not want on his website, i’m willing to accept and respect whatever his decision, if any on this, may be.
At least we can agree that islam should be our main concern, whatever else may be our disagreements. If we can remove islam as a threat to everything we care about, then perhaps we can get back to more important matters 😉
Peace be with you

I have written here on JW a number of times that I am blessed with friendship of those with many religious affiliations, Catholic and Jewish among them. It seems to me that US Jews in large part are as blind to the promises, threats and danger of modern islam as the pope. I cannot describe my disbelief, frustration and confusion at my sense of loss for people I admire who seem headed not only to self-destruction, but to destruction of everything and everyone around them at the hands of people who have broadcast their plan not just for a few decades (Nazi anti-Jewish speeches, writings and violence) but for 1400 years. “There are none so blind. . .” “Those who cannot remember. . .” How many other statements apply? God, Please Help US see the truth!

Not all American Jews are like this–I know a few who are quite Islamo-savvy. They do tend to be in the minority, though, just like clueless Gentiles.

GI, as usual you are correct. It is not all US Jews; it seems that most of the Rabbis and those in control of congregations cannot stand to face the truth. I had one dear friend Rabbi explode when I asked him to consider the “religion of peace”. Two other Rabbis preferred to avoid the subject altogether. An apparent minority tolerate this suicidal blindness and remain. Others prefer to walk away peacefully and pray for enlightenment among people they wish better for. Best wishes always.

Pope Francis I (2013-present) represents the culmination of the uselessness, stupidity and idiocy of Vatican II in full and present form. For the inauguration of doing just about the most indefensible thing a person can do, i.e., try to fix something that isn’t broken, one must cast an historical and very critical eye upon Pope John XXIII (1958-1963), who initiated Vatican II when there was no need to.
Following John XXIII was the tactically capable but also essentially useless bureaucrat, Paul VI (1963-1978), who placed his papal seal upon the great tragedy which was Vatican II. Pope John Paul I (1978) doesn’t factor in here because he died just a month or so after becoming pontiff and then both John Paul II (1978-2005), and even more so Benedict XVI (2005-2013), did their best to reverse the tremendous harm done by Vatican II but these two men were fighting a valiant but ultimately upstream battle and lost. Which is why the Catholic world now has the fool for a pontiff that it does, quite arguably the “end result” of Vatican II in “full flower.” Thus in microcosm is the history of the Catholic Church since the egregious mistake made by John XXIII.
Glad I am not a Catholic. It would break my heart were I. Hell, it practically breaks my heart anyway.

Agree with Wellington’s analysis. I personally call Pope Frank, ‘Pope GUIDO SARDUCCI’ … if anyone remembers the hysterical send-up of a hippy priest

Does Pope Francis understand SO LITTLE?
The signers of the declaration are PUTTING THEIR LIVES AT RISK merely by signing the declaration addressed to the pope.
We know already that the pope is guilty of pretending know more than people who have read the primary texts of Islam and even to know more about Islam than Mohammed and his COMPANIONS!
The pope has not read the primary source texts of Islam, so his CLAIMS to understand Islam are PREPOSTEROUS and HIGHLY OFFENSIVE to those of us with a substantial knowledge of the Sira, hadiths and Koran.
The pope’s pretentiousness and posturing in the matter of Islamic knowledge is obviously fake and dishonest humbug and virtue-signalling.
The pope knows as much about Islam’s ESSENTIAL doctrines (usul ud-deen) of AL WALAA WAL BARAA and JIHAD AND HEGIRA as he does about advanced nuclear fuel cycles!

Please, someone tell the new Catholic converts from Islam, that Frankenpope was not validly elected, so is not a true pope. The Catholic Church is the one true church and offers the most grace and wisdom for eternal salvation. But now we have to look deeply for it, in the writings of the saints and the Bible. Our leaders are blind guides. There will soon be a schism and the faithful remnant will need to attend Mass in people’s homes, in order to attend a valid Mass…the public Masses will soon be invalidated when Frankenpope changes the words of consecration.
Wellington says
While I think it possible, if not likely, that pressure was placed upon Benedict XVI to abdicate, this does not equate to Francis I being not validly elected. Understand, I think Francis is a fool, but what is your evidence for his not being validly elected?

Glad to know there are folks who have left Islam (a Satanic cult) for another faith. However, the truth and eternal salvation are not to be found in the Catholic Church which has mixed much unbiblical teaching with the truth of God’s Holy Word, the Bible. Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no man comes to the Father except through Me”. (John 14:6) Salvation is in a Person, i.e. Jesus Christ who died and rose again to save us from our sins. Salvation is not in any church or religion.

Pope Snoop Dogg..
Let me start with a positive comment. Remember, this is the best I could come up with:
If we had gotten the pope we DESERVE, we would now have Pope Snoop Dogg.
And thus ends the positivity.

Pope Bergoglio(Francis) peacefully and universally” accepted as Pope..
And make no mistake, for the Vatican to be analogized to North Korea is exactly what Bergoglio wants. Bergoglio is a Diabolical Narcissist Psychopath. His obsession is POWER. All he cares about is his own personal power, of which money and sex are subsets, and his appetite is insatiable. Bergoglio hates God and is trying to prove that he is more powerful than God. Exactly like Lucifer.
Peace isn’t the absence of war, folks. Peace is the perfect application of Justice in Charity.
The problem we have here with this Beatitude is that the meaning of the word “peace” has been distorted over the course of the 20th century. Hold on to your britches, because here comes the truth:
PEACE IS NOT THE ABSENCE OF WAR.
PEACE IS THE FULL APPLICATION OF JUSTICE IN CHARITY WITHIN A SOCIETY.
I am not so stupid or deluded to think that laying low and going-along-to-get-along is going to lead to anything except an escalation of injustice, suffering and eventual violence and death at the hands of the very people that our sick culture demands we “tolerate”.
This stupid nonsense all started decades ago when so-called Christian clergy began to twist and pervert the words of Our Lord in the Beatitudes into the lie of pacifism and touted effeminacy as a virtue and virility as a sin. Today’s ministers [Catholic clergy] are just too stupid, intellectually lazy, cowardly and money-obsessed to preach the truth. And so all they can say between rockband numbers is, “Always be nice!” while civilization [The Church] crumbles around them. Fools..

I am not a Christian; Indeed, I am an Atheist, but it was always my understanding that Christ was the center of Christianity. How can one be a Christian without believing that Christ is the master whom Christians follow, yet say that Islam, which does not recognize Christ as a divinity, is just as good?
This seems to be the Pope’s philosophy, even though it is diametrically opposed to the religion the Pope is supposed to represent and actually be the representative of Jesus on earth.
Your Pope is a charletan, an imposter who has wormed his way into the leadership of Catholicism, He is a South American Muslim, likely converted on the streets of Argentina and holds his position with the connivance of like minded Cardinals. A silly old man in a dress.
Do not follow him. He represents the worst of mankind
Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. Beware of men in dresses who say they represent a God. It is all an illusion.

Pope Francis’s pro-Islam stance is not a SUPERDOGMA of the Catholic Church. I’m one of the many Catholics who see through Franny, who is a Marxist, New World Order guy who is at heart an atheist.
He’s also an idiot, but I am not leaving the Church because of him.
He’s so stupid that an imam invited to pray in Rome at the beginning of his pontificate prayed in Arabic for the conquest of Rome. Franny also ignored Islamic doctored photos showing ISIS warriors holding his severed head.
Franny attempts to sabotage basic teachings of Christ, as well as ignoring the historical battles against Islam fought by Christians, such as the Battle of Lepanto.
The US Conference of Catholic Bishops is almost as bad as Franny in its politically correct, “social justice” stance.

I can sai …I told you! We knew this all our lives! Only some “naive” so called Christan Believers out of Italy, could ask me “how are our Catholic Brother and Sisters, doing in Italy”? I was chocked to this question! …Brothers and Sisters? In order to be Spiritual Brothers and Sisters, we need to have the same Heavenly Father; and only who makes Jesus Christ our “Only” Saviour and Lord, can have God as our Hevenly Father (John 1:11-14), and be in the Brotherhood of the Only Christian Church!

God bless these brave confessors of the faith. God bless them for speaking up; for trying to warn all those naive Christians who have bought the lies of the dawa-ising spin-doctors, the Muslim pr men and the Christian leaders who have been conditioned into dhimmitude.
Having come out of the darkness of Islam to the light of Christ they *know* that there is a difference between the two belief systems: the one they left, the one they are in.
Their warnings should be treated as were the warnings of, for example, those who defected from the Soviet Empire or from Mao’s China into the lands of the free. Their warnings need to be *believed*. They know whereof they speak. They *know* how awful Islam is.
Daniel Shayesteh, a Persian ex-Muslim, called his personal testimony “Exodus from Darkness”. When he was beginning to realize what a mess Islam was, he had a dream in which his family home was burning down. The house of Islam was a house of destruction – a house on fire, burning down; he had to flee from it, in order to live.

The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith,Vatican must affirm Vatican Council II (Feeneyite) as a theology which is different from their Vatican Council II(Cushingite) theology of today.
According to Vatican Council II all Muslims and other non Catholics are on the way to Hell without faith and baptism(AG 7, LG 14) and we know in 2018 that there can be no practical exceptions in LG 16, LG 8, UR 3, GS 22, since they refer to hypothetical cases.
This is an issue that the two popes and the CDF are avoiding.-L.A

I am Catholic and I don’t understand how reading the Quran can be recommended from the Pope. This sounds in the cateogory of, what I categorized of being fantasy, conspiration theories were Catholics created Islam. It sounds like that because the pope gives instructions from his place of authority that enforce (!) a bipolar world with Islam and Christianity instead of just uniting everyone in Christ.
