As some of you may know, I was suspended from Twitter on New Years Day. I was taken aback because I really like Twitter as a platform and I’ve built up a good following of like-minded individuals, and it’s a really good place to promote my comic book work. I read their email and they gave no specific reason for my suspension, except that they accused me of violating their policies against “hateful conduct”. (Only the immoral would conclude that hating jihadists is “hateful conduct”?
So I wrote Twitter and asked them to present their specific reasons for my suspension, and for them to cite any tweets of mine that they claim are “hateful”. They wrote back, completely ignoring my requests, and let me know that my suspension was final and that my account would not be restored. I wrote them again, reitering what I wrote, and they replied in the same way. I was pissed off at this point, and I’m tired of being defamed for things I’m not. So I wrote them a third time, this time ending with a threat that I would take this to court if they don’t present me with Specific reasons for my suspension, and if they didn’t cite particular tweets of mine that they consider “hateful conduct.” Then I discovered that a Twitter account by the name of @mark_melbin was celebrating on Twitter about my ouster. (I was locked out of Twitter, but I could still observe the goings on.) He couldn’t resist celebrating and gave himself away. So I posted about it on Facebook, with screenshots, and my social media friends took him to task and asked him what exact tweets of mine he reported. Like Twitter, he avoided the details and said it was now in Twitters hands, but lectured me about abiding by Twitter rules, knowing I couldn’t reply.
Then a day after my third challenge to Twitter, I open up twitter and I’m presented with a page that tells me my account has been “locked”. Not suspended, but “locked”. I was given an option to delete a reply of mine from November in order to get my account unlocked. This was news to me, as for days I was told I was suspended and that my account would not be restored. My tweet was a reply to a Twitter user, likely from someone who suggested that religions are equally violent. My tweet reply was: “@NyaDnart1 There are degrees. Muslims who follow in Mohammad’s footsteps mass murder. Christians who follow in Jesus’s footsteps?” Is this the tweet that got me suspended, even though they refused to present any tweet of mine? Or were they now fishing for one, to try to legitimize my suspension, after the fact? I don’t know. But I didn’t think much of deleting that response and did so. I would write them about it, and try to get to the bottom of this. But then I got an email from Twitter, I don’t know if this email came first or that unlock option, but it read:
Hello,
We’ve unsuspended your account; sorry for the inconvenience. Please note that it may take an hour or so for your follow and following numbers to return to normal.
Twitter has automated systems that find and remove multiple automated spam accounts in bulk. Unfortunately, it looks like your account got caught up in one of these spam groups by mistake.
Please do not respond to this email as replies will not be monitored.
Thanks,
Twitter Support
Strange.
And I don’t buy it at all. The account that reported me showed screenshots of this Mark Melbin’s exchange with Twitter, where Twitter said that they investigated his claims and concluded that my tweets where considered “hateful conduct”. The only thing I can say is that it’s a very precarious place to be when Leftists are in charge of these matters, particularly when non-leftists are involved.
I ended up quote-tweeting the punk who tried to have me banned, in a tweet where he wrote it was a “victory” against “hate speech” that I was gone from Twitter. So I wrote,
“Victory”, he writes. LOL”
And then I blocked him, as it might hurt his chances of pulling this again.

It’s not difficult to realize that the new “self-imposed” controls on social media are a result of monetization and politicization.
Some governments, like Iran, don’t represent much revenue loss or potential regulations yet others in Europe can get an instant flight to meet in person from the new media masters. It’s inevitable that governments, under the control of business interests, will step in with controls if either profit or power is threatened.
Currently, the new internet media is serving the interests of globalization and multinational corporations; cutting out the bricks and mortar while streamlining profits. Why is there so little government opposition to this trend toward monopoly and the destroyed lives it leaves behind? The scrapping of Net Neutrality is further proof that global business interests intend to effectively own the internet.
Some will say, “we’ll just create another social media that won’t be hostile to our political view”, without realizing they are expecting full access to the internet itself – which has never been guaranteed as a right. If that access becomes, “according to ability to pay”, and is policed by corporate interests, there will be no Jihad Watch, or, Pigman on the internet.
The New Feudal System enslaves with debt and manipulates with information. This is the time to establish alternate social media, goad Congress to restore Net Neutrality, and break up monopolies before our computers and TVs are looking back at us from corporate-government social-control centers.
LeftisruiningCanada says
But would any private sector enterprise be doing so much to restrict free speech without the prodding, cajoling or threatening of the State? Or at least without some strong agreements between the two?
Perhaps, if they were run and owned by those who didn’t want certain things saying, or who have their own worldview to push in their business dealings. (But then, a free market would offer other ways.) Facebook is a good example of that, and it’s big enough to start playing at ideological games. But then the distinction between State and Corporation become blurry. There’s no balance anymore.
It’s the same with ISPs. Unless they are self policing content they don’t like, which is i suppose their right, it can only be collusion between Private and Public that would leave customers with no way around those blockages.
To me, the dangers aren’t ‘corporations’, that bogeyman of the left, if they are simply doing what corporations are supposed to do – provide a service which leads to profit. It’s once either government or private sector leave their usual bounds that the problems start. That’s what is happening now, and very much.
LeftisruiningCanada says
“Why is there so little government opposition to this trend toward monopoly and the destroyed lives it leaves behind?”
Because government is actively pushing those trends!
“The scrapping of Net Neutrality is further proof that global business interests intend to effectively own the internet”
What leads us to place the emphasis upon the private sector in this case? I don’t know much about this right now, so i’m not sure either way.
“If that access becomes, “according to ability to pay”, and is policed by corporate interests, there will be no Jihad Watch, or, Pigman on the internet.
Net access is already on an ability to pay basis, at least at some level. A market free of government regulation on permitted content would guarantee unimpeded internet access, simply because some people would be willing to pay for it.
In the current state of things, only government can cause such a universal internet censorship as you describe.
“The New Feudal System enslaves with debt and manipulates with information.”
As would any tyrant unrestricted by an opposing power.
TheBuffster says
Here’s a recent JihadWatch article – an example of how governments can put Internet companies on notice and get them to do their censorship for them:
https://www.jihadwatch.org/2018/01/germany-enforcing-hate-speech-laws-on-social-media-sites
And governments can also block and ban those websites that they consider to be against their national policies, preventing their people from getting the information the powers that be don’t want them to have.
Companies who place freedom of speech above their bottom line will resist this pressure and threat from governments. Those who care more for the bottom line or who share the same values as the repressing government will go along.
In a free market, dissenters can create their own platforms and defy censoring governments unless major, powerful governments join in the repressiveness.
Let us hope that the United States does not join those states, such as Germany, who have not respect for freedom of expression and dissent from their policies.

Happy to hear this update from Bosch, he wins this round because of public pressure.
I wouldn’t be surprised to find that Prince Al-Waleed and Jack Dorsey, as two major shareholders in Twitter, used intermediaries to invest in Gab.ai during its recent million-plus public offering. As long as Twitter can point to an alternative short-message social medium where the people they kick off can go, they are relatively safe from anti-trust action. Currently they have 99 percent of the market, but they would happily settle for 90 percent.
No, Gab is not ready. Its top people are not ready for prime time. The environment there is toxic, most of its users are far-right whack jobs who sneer non-stop at “cuckservatives” and “normies”.
At this point in time, Twitter is still the only game in town for what it offers. They should be investigated for abuse of their market-dominant position as they go after conservatives and critics of Islam. Ironically, EU law would seem to offer more leverage to do so than U.S. law, but the current crop of Euro politicians are unlikely to avail themselves of the opportunity. Europeans will have to vote the bastards out of office first.

Don’t know about a yacht, but I do know that Trump has called him the “dopey prince”.
He is sometimes seen wearing an Arafat-style kaffiyeh. Miserable excuse for a human being.
There are conflicting reports about his current situation in Saudi. Some claim the new Crown Prince has him locked up and hanging from his thumbs to jog his memory and help along his confession. (Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy if true!)

Firstly, that tattler is the one guilty of hate speech.
Second, it was a loss and not a victory for freedom of speech and truth.
Third, this looks like it is coming down to the days of “Deny Jesus is Lord, and we will let you back in.” Something that true Christians can never do. So, we just can’t be on social media anymore. Our voice can still be heard in many ways. Some of us can’t have businesses anymore either, due to the persecution (see Klein baker story). So it went in the Holocaust, and so it goes now.
Fourth, about this, all religions are not equally violent, islam is violent, and Christianity is peaceful. Your comment was spot on. I would not have deleted it for all the money in the world:
“My tweet was a reply to a Twitter user, likely from someone who suggested that religions are equally violent. My tweet reply was: “@NyaDnart1 There are degrees. Muslims who follow in Mohammad’s footsteps mass murder. Christians who follow in Jesus’s footsteps?” Is this the tweet that got me suspended, even though they refused to present any tweet of mine? Sounds like they are coming for Christians to me.
Once they had them in custody, during different times and places in world history, they offered an ultimatum. Deny Jesus and go free, or we will keep you and do ______ to you. Loyal Christians did not deny Him. Those who did, felt badly and repented and came back to confess Jesus anew to the interrogators, regardless of the penalty. I still read about cases like that today, in parts of the world. Now it has arrived here and will only get worse. I say this not to condemn but to strengthen you as the days get darker. We must stand for Jesus above all else every moment.
God bless.

In my opinion, Twitter is a greedy company just like Apple, Googles etc. They may pretend that they are morally correct by acting as a watcher of hateful conduct or other big words, but in reality they are just bullying people to do whatever they want, making profit as much as possible as the final destination.
No real concern of human life, people freedom etc can really be expected from such companies.
LeftisruiningCanada says
When really, the agenda of islamic protection is coming from sources outside of private enterprise.
And i’m not even sure how it increases profits to spend so much time and money implementing systems that seek out and eliminate people for saying things on twitter or facebook.
When private, profit making businesses, start doing things that have little or not benefit to their bottom line, it might be a sign that other priorities are making themselves felt.

We should nationalize Twitter, or something like that?

Nationalization–even if this were an ethical thing to do–is no guarantee of freedom of speech. More apt to be the opposite, in fact.
LeftisruiningCanada says
No argument here, it would very likely be a lot worse.
This whole push for censorship seems to be coming from government anyway….i just don’t see evidence or reason why private business would expend so much effort trying to identify and block content like this otherwise. Can muslims be such a market influence that twitter or facebook would rather alienate critics of islam instead?
When E Cline mentioned that Twitter be ‘wrested’, i couldn’t see anything but a suggestion for nationalization. That may not be what he meant. 🙂

In George Orwells “1984”, truth was politically manipulated to benefit ‘The Party’, but even he would most likely roll over in is grave if he could to see how the evolving ‘thought police’ social media of today such as Google, FB and Twitter have amassed such power to control and censor the written word of their millions of ‘subscribers’. Eventually this fear effect trickles down throughout society, much to the delight of pro-Soros globalist fascist gvts.

Concerning censorship on Google, YouTube, Fascbook and Twitter et al:
People say the American Constitution’s First Amendment only protects individual citizens (and corporations) from the government, but that private companies can enforce whatever rules they want to within their own domains.
But … hey, guess what! NOT when their rules amount to CRIMES (say, of slander)!
See, whenever TWATTER (and Fascbook and ScrewYouRube, and GO-OGLE et al) humiliates people in public by censoring them and posting (slanderous, libelous) warnings, they are actually breaking the LAW.
Slander (and it’s written form, libel) are sub-categories of criminal FRAUD.
Further, if (as can be easily demonstrated in these cases) they committed their fraudulent, defamatory slanders and libels as part of an orchestrated conspiracy to suppress and destroy evidence of the crimes of the holy-mobster “muslim” gang members of the world’s oldest and largest ongoing extortion racket and crime-syndicate (“ISLAM”) then they are also guilty of endorsing those same crimes (many of which amount to mass-murders, if not to actual genocide) and since islam itself is openly hostile to any and all sovereign nations (which it regards as temporary and man-made false idols, all of which are to be eventually destroyed and replaced with their own one-world muslim Ummah Nation, to be ruled over by their global theocratic caliphate government) it is also a clear case of sedition and treason, of aiding and abetting an existential threat to the United States and Western world in general.
These globalist fascists should all be arrested indicted tried convicted jailed and possibly executed for their treason to rationality and civilization and their ongoing crimes against humanity.

Congratulations on getting back on twitter, assuming you do get back on. I was banned from facebook years ago, but to be fair I had called someone a “moron” and I used what some might say was “foul” language. I did not call for violence or hate against anyone, nor have I ever. (I believe that most Muslims are in fact “morons” for believing the lies of the pervert prophet, but I do not believe that anyone should be hated, discriminated against or treated unfairly just because they’re massively stupid. Most of them cannot help it because they have been raised that way from birth, and taught to never question their religious teachings. Also, while I believe most Muslims to be morons, I also feel deep compassion for them. They are the biggest victims to the lies of Mohammad.
