What better way to show that he is innocent and that Islam is a Religion of Peace?
“Marsabit Muslim cleric expected in court to face terror related charges,” by Joseph Muraya, Capital News, January 15, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
NAIROBI, Kenya, Jan 15 – A Muslim cleric who was arrested in Marsabit Town over the weekend sparking protests that led to death of three people is expected in court Monday to face terror related charges.
Sheikh Guyo Gorsa was flown to Nairobi where he is expected to be charged.
Gorsa was arrested in the town centre and the youth, most of whom were his madrassa students, followed him to the police station demanding his release.
After his arrest, some locals destroyed property including a Catholic church and local KCB Bank with most of the protestors being students of a madrassa he taught.
The sheikh was arrested in 2014 at the Coast over suspicion of radicalising the youth and was later released and it was alleged that he had links to radical groups.
He is said to be linked to a network that recruits youths on behalf of Al Shabaab.

Like all civilized people, I continue to struggle with the reality that these savages occupy the same Earth as do I. Next, I am continually perplexed as to why those who incite to riot and murder are not identified and jailed PRIOR to their devastation urgings – and their result. I care not a fig WHAT your religious persuasion, but I DO care that democratic freedoms and the rule of law are what reign supreme. We cannot return these lives lost, but we CAN ensure that these psychopaths from an age that has emerged from the mist of primitive times long past – are decisively – STOPPED.

The religion of FEAR and FORCE is at it again . Over and over again and again and still no American news outlet, Fake or otherwise, has any information for the American people about incidents like this. So this is in a foreign country…so what! The Islamist are doing their most to try and bring it to us….We need to know what’s happening with islam worldwide. Being informed is a good method of fighting off anything that is trying to destroy you. Thank you Robert for even putting your life on the line for America. Sure seems our elected officials and our clergy just plain don’t care.

Kenya: Muslim cleric arrested on jihad terror charges, his students riot, murder 3 people, destroy church

Well, *that* says it all. If we try to defend against Jihad terror, they will wage violent Jihad against us…

Although My country is pretty well established as a democracy and mostly the rule of law is followed, There is an aspect of our police I find agreeable- so long as it’s under control and used primarily on hardcore terrorists who uses the court system to gain freedom, such terrorism suspects do get picked up by unmarked cars and disappear or are shot by “unknown gunmen”. in broad daylight. This has somehow tapered terrorist activities.

afrostreetwise, that is most pleasing from our perspective, but a State run by law, as a republic must be, cannot successfully be run that way. if *we* do that and kill those who oppose us, what complaint can we make when *they* are running the police and do the same? by running the State via laws to which all are subject, we remove, as much as possible, the “strong man” from control of the State. if one person can circumvent the law without penalty, why should another person not also be allowed to do the same? any reason for following the law goes out the window, and it’s every man for himself. such governments always end in dictatorships.
unfortunately, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. rule by *law* rather than rule by *men* is vital, or a republic is doomed. even when the bad guys are taken out and shot, the republic is still degraded.

I too smiled with great please at hearing about the terrorists’, cough, unfortunate demise in a back alley, but have to agree with b.a. freeman – the rule of law is the thin line that separates us from the animals. Best wishes afrostreetwise, and thank you for that interesting information.

Afrostreetwise, You could have added that Kenya with Ethiopia have been fighting Al Shabaab for years now in an effort to annihilate them in Somalia and has been attacked many times for their efforts. After the massacre in Nairobi a few years ago by terrorist with links to Al Shabaab, I do understand the actions to which you refer or maybe the traffic drives the police to act a bit harsh. I was in Kampala when the animals from the cult exploded bombs at the soccer stadium killing people just because they wished to enjoy a match. My hotel was about three blocks a way and I could feel the ground shake a little.

Yes–Kenya has been horribly threatened by Jihad terror. Worst of all was the attack on the Westgate shopping mall.

Sounds like Muslim acts of peace and love to me. Remember, the Liberals say it is the religion of peace.

Well, point proven. Looks like the defense will have a hard time at court.
