Of course. The Metropolitan Police’s foremost priority is not to enforce the law, or to bring justice to the victims of honor violence and forced marriage. It is to avoid appearing “Islamophobic,” and since Muslims are the primary perpetrators of both of these crimes, the number of prosecutions is going to remain “appallingly” low until there is a massive change in the political climate in Britain. But such a change is not remotely on the horizon. Britain is, as you know, finished.
“Met faces backlash over failure to prosecute ‘horrific’ honor killings, forced marriages,” RT, January 26, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
The Metropolitan Police is facing fresh accusations of failing its crime victims as the number of “horrific” honor killings and forced marriages being prosecuted in London remains “appallingly” low.
The police force’s efficiency has once more been cast into doubt as new figures, obtained through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, that revealed police recorded 759 honor violence crimes and 265 forced marriages in the capital between 2015 and 2017. However, just 138 people were charged with offences.
The figures also revealed the prosecution rates for both crimes have dropped in the past three years. As national statistics reveal an increasing number of victims making allegations, campaign groups are now calling on the Met to review its strategy so that the crimes are adequately dealt with.
Diana Nammi, executive director of the Iranian & Kurdish Women’s Rights Organisation, which provides refuge for victims, said: “What makes it so alarming is that figures that we obtained through freedom of information requests show that, at the same time, since the criminalization of forced marriage in 2014, many more people at risk than ever before are coming forward for help.
“As ‘honor’- based violence is perpetrated by the victim’s own family and community there is a lot of pressure on victims to drop cases and too often justice is not seen,” Nammi said, the Evening Standard reports. “London must not be a safe haven for perpetrators of these horrific, damaging crimes.
“We need to see much more action from the Mayor of London to tackle ‘honor’-based violence and his priority must be to fund women’s rights organizations like IKWRO who are best placed to support victims and survivors who courageously come forward.”
London Assembly Conservative member Susan Hall, who lodged the FOI request, said “Honor violence and forced marriage are appalling and archaic practices that have no place in a modern city like London,” the Standard reported.
“The charge rate for these offences is appallingly low. If the police are to overcome the barriers of witnesses being too scared to give evidence and of communities unwilling to co-operate, they must develop better relationships with those affected by these crimes.”…

If the Met would prosecute someone who commits AZTEC HUMAN SACRIFICE, the Met should prosecute someone who commits HONOUR KILLING or FGM.

The gov’t is fully aware, but has no intention of taking any serious action. It will all be perfectly legal anyway, if the barbarians take charge.
The best chance that Britain has of stopping this appalling abuse of women and girls (and to put the brakes on Islam’s advance in Britain) is to elect Anne Marie Waters to Parliament.

Politics obviously don’t want more police doing their jobs. As they want to pander to the very same “cultural” groups commiting these crimes.
The same goes for US-cities run by Democrats who want to completely stop arresting black criminals as this is the minority THEY pander to.

Honor violence? Forced marriage?
All part and parcel of life under a muslim Mayor.

All part of Khan’s new normal — shariah normal. This article doesn’t surprise me all. If all of England isn’t subdued, you know London is gone (unless you’re a royal or a bureaucratic big-shot).
I can hardly wait for Chicago to get it’s first muslim mayor, so we too can share the misery — uh, new normal — all over the city.

Therein lies the problem. You are appealing to someone in the the culture to prosecute it.

Of course, the number of prosecutions of honor killings and forced marriages are “appallingly” low, the cops spend all their time going after British citizens for thought crimes (internet “hate speech”) they have no time for real crimes anymore.

Well of course, we’re not going to get any action from the current Mayor of London to crack down on these serious crimes.
Nevertheless, there’s considerable exaggerration in some of these comments. Just as these crimes are committed almost exclusively by Muslims, so too the victims are almost exclusively Muslims. It’s not affecting most of the population, indeed it’s pretty much invisible to most of us. It’s up to the Muslim community to put their own house in order by helping police investigations, agreeing to testify in court, and above all by vigorously supporting (instead of shunning) those who help the police against their own relatives.
In honour killings, there’s a chance of finding some useful forensic evidence, but even so it’s much harder to prove than a stranger murder, because more forensic details can be explained away when the accused lives under the same roof as the victim. In addition, breaking the alibi of the accused will typically need a wife to testify against her own husband and sons, which she knows will probably leave her alone and shunned and probably impoverished. Difficult case to prove.
In forced marriage cases, it’ll almost always be necessary for a (non-working, financially-dependent) daughter to testify against her own husband (a.k.a. rapist) and parents who sent her overseas (usually) for the marriage, and the victim knows that (whether she wins or loses the case) she’ll very likely be left homeless, impoverished and shunned by her own community, in addition to all the usual reticence felt by other rape victims. Furthermore, there’s very often no evidence except he-said-she-said. There’s little chance of getting a conviction unless the victim had actually told an independent third party, in writing and in advance of the forced marriage and with names and places, that she was in fear of exactly what subsequently happened. Very difficult case indeed.
It’s NOT that our police here in London don’t care about these crimes. The coppers are willing to try, but when they can’t amass enough solid evidence for the prosecutors, then there’s not much they can do.
The fundamental problem, however, is not the relationship between police and Muslims, it’s the relationship between Muslims and Muslims – the attitude that “our loyalties to fellow Muslims are more important than your laws”, which results in the shunning of those who co-operate with the police. Without that chilling blockage, the coppers would stand much more chance of proving crimes.
Jackie Rozell says
Muslim crimes don’t remain just Muslim crimes. Such as the one where the 15 year old Muslim school boy suddenly stabbed a knife in the throat of 14 year old school boy as they were sitting in the principal’s office waiting to talk with him. Both were with their mothers. The Muslim felt the infidel was staring at his mother “too provocatively.” 15, and he felt that was a reason to kill another child? Muslim crimes do not remain between Muslims. They spill over onto all of us.

Sense and Sensibility, we should be concerned about this flouting of our laws no matter who the victims are. This is how our civilized legal system is supposed to work.
And Jackie Rozell is right–these crimes don’t wind up just affecting Muslims. If we do not enforce our laws, this just further emboldens Muslims not just to brutalize the more vulnerable members of their own communities, but to victimize *all of us*.

This will never happen, because these things are perfectly Islamic.
Why shouldn’t we enforce our own civilized laws in our own nations? Why should we give a pass to Muslim savagery?

Many cases are difficult to investigate for one reason or another–that does not mean that we should throw up our hands and let them literally get away with murder.

Again, this does not mean that these crimes should be ignored, just because there is pressure on the victims not to report the crimes or take them to court.

The fact that there is a Muslim mayor focusing more on Infidels criticizing Jihad than on proescuting these crimes sure as hell does not help. After all, prosecution of these cases has *gone down*, even as the Muslim population continues to climb there.

Muslims do not just shield Muslim crimes against other Muslims, but also Muslim crimes against Infidels. More reason not to import Mohammedans into our civilzed societies.

Right you are Jay boo……In the UK the face of islam has been painted with a smile and to the public seems to be a simpleton. All those mutilations of women and honor killings that is being swept under the rug will surely come back to haunt them one day. Like when their PM
comes crying to the U.S. once again, to save them from Islamism as Churchill did with Nazism in the form of Hitler. We saved Europe once with our money and blood….and lest anyone say naught…without U.S. intervention, with blood and or machinery, Europe would have been lost to Nazism. We were fighting two wars at the time. oh how soon they forge.Problem there…many of those WW2 era people are dead and the very young at that time are now riding a different world and don’t realize what is about to swallow them up.
