If the gunmen were Christian and the people were killed leaving a mosque, then the international media would be interested. But about this, no.
“Gunmen kill 14 churchgoers in Nigeria shooting,” News24.com, January 2, 2018 (thanks to Lookmann):
Warri – Gunmen killed at least 14 churchgoers returning from a midnight service on Monday in Nigeria’s Rivers State, a police source told AFP, the latest violence to hit the oil-rich region.
“The gunmen opened fire on a set of worshippers at about 12:30 on Monday,” said Ugochi Olugbo, a relative of one of the victims who were attending a New Year’s Eve service.
The shooting took place in the town of Omoku about 90km from the southern oil hub of Port Harcourt.
“Fourteen persons died on the spot, while 12 who sustained gunshot wounds were rushed to the hospital and are receiving medical attention,” said a police source who asked to remain anonymous.
Rivers State police public relations officer Nnamdi Omoni said the number of casualties could not be confirmed at the moment….

Pope Francis will undoubtedly criticize these Christians for allowing themselves to become targets, declare Islam to be the religion of peace, and pray that people don’t view Islam or its teaching in a negative way.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio is a Communist. He has no true religion, just obedience to the code of his heros: Karl Marx, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung; and Fidel Castro.
He could care less about the Roman Catholic Church or Christianity other than his use of it as a tool to push for global Communism.
If you observe his actions, inactions, statement, and his refusals to comment — it all becomes pretty clear.

Coming soon to a town near you… thanks to the traitor pope francis!
On the ‘ratherexposethem’ blog he captured the speech the pope made for new year’s day which is the Catholic ‘day of peace,’ and it is atrocious! See the website under today’s date and click on the blue highlight ‘message’ and this will pop up with footnotes. I inserted it below along with parenthetical commentary:
“MESSAGE OF POPE FRANCIS
FOR THE CELEBRATION OF THE
51st WORLD DAY OF PEACE
1 JANUARY 2018
Migrants and refugees: men and women in search of peace (give me a break!)
Lydia Church says
part 2
1. Heartfelt good wishes for peace
Peace to all people and to all nations on earth! Peace, which the angels proclaimed to the shepherds on Christmas night,[1] is a profound aspiration for everyone, for each individual and all peoples, and especially for those who most keenly suffer its absence. Among these whom I constantly keep in my thoughts and prayers, I would once again mention the over 250 million migrants worldwide, of whom 22.5 million are refugees. (Of course, all the rapists, plunderers, terrorists, spreading islam’s reign of terror, oh yes, our hearts go out to them all!) Pope Benedict XVI, my beloved predecessor, spoke of them as “men and women, children, young and elderly people, who are searching for somewhere to live in peace.”[2] (poor babies!) In order to find that peace, they are willing to risk their lives on a journey that is often long and perilous, to endure hardships and suffering, and to encounter fences and walls built to keep them far from their goal. (By the countries who are smarter and know they are a gang of no good thugs who dispense violence, they don’t suffer it! And they let the Christians die back in the middle east and send the real refugees, Christians fleeing persecution like in Sweden, back to Iran to die! All while letting in the jihadis.)
In a spirit of compassion, let us embrace all those fleeing from war and hunger, or forced by discrimination, persecution, poverty and environmental degradation to leave their homelands. (So, should we open our arms to all those fleeing the violence brought in by the entering migrants? Maybe these civilized people can flee to Hungary and Poland?)
Lydia Church says
part 3
We know that it is not enough to open our hearts to the suffering of others. Much more remains to be done before our brothers and sisters can once again live peacefully in a safe home. Welcoming others requires concrete commitment, a network of assistance and goodwill, vigilant and sympathetic attention, the responsible management of new and complex situations that at times compound numerous existing problems, to say nothing of resources, which are always limited. By practising the virtue of prudence, government leaders should take practical measures to welcome, promote, protect, integrate and, “within the limits allowed by a correct understanding of the common good, to permit [them] to become part of a new society.”[3] Leaders have a clear responsibility towards their own communities, whose legitimate rights and harmonious development they must ensure, lest they become like the rash builder who miscalculated and failed to complete the tower he had begun to construct.[4]
(Until the trojan horse of migrants came along…!)
2. Why so many refugees and migrants?
As he looked to the Great Jubilee marking the passage of two thousand years since the proclamation of peace by the angels in Bethlehem, Saint John Paul II pointed to the increased numbers of displaced persons as one of the consequences of the “endless and horrifying sequence of wars, conflicts, genocides and ethnic cleansings”[5] that had characterized the twentieth century. To this date, the new century has registered no real breakthrough: armed conflicts and other forms of organized violence continue to trigger the movement of peoples within national borders and beyond.
Yet people migrate for other reasons as well, principally because they “desire a better life, and not infrequently try to leave behind the ‘hopelessness’ of an unpromising future.”[6] They set out to join their families or to seek professional or educational opportunities, for those who cannot enjoy these rights do not live in peace. Furthermore, as I noted in the Encyclical Laudato Si’, there has been “a tragic rise in the number of migrants seeking to flee from the growing poverty caused by environmental degradation”.[7]
Most people migrate through regular channels. Some, however, take different routes, mainly out of desperation, when their own countries offer neither safety nor opportunity, and every legal pathway appears impractical, blocked or too slow.
Lydia Church says
part 4
Many destination countries have seen the spread of rhetoric decrying the risks posed to national security or the high cost of welcoming new arrivals, and thus demeaning the human dignity due to all as sons and daughters of God. Those who, for what may be political reasons, foment fear of migrants instead of building peace are sowing violence, racial discrimination and xenophobia, which are matters of great concern for all those concerned for the safety of every human being.[8] (Every human being? This is the most condensed load of crap I ever read! Yes, the countries with a thing called intelligence decry the invasion of the migrants because they are bringing violence and danger and threatening their very civilizations! What about the human dignity of the rape victims? Hello?! And Biblically you are not a son or daughter of God until you are born again. You are His creation but that’s it. And they are just ‘fomenting fear’? Really frankie? Out of nowhere? They are sowing violence instead of building peace? NO! The migrants are sowing violence instead of building peace! And again, it’s not a ‘race’ issue, it’s a ‘religion’ and ‘terrorism’ issue. And then he goes on to single us out as the villains, do you see that rhetoric again there? Like…. wow.)
All indicators available to the international community suggest that global migration will continue for the future. Some consider this a threat. For my part, I ask you to view it with confidence as an opportunity to build peace. (More compact BS to fertilize your crop with…)
3. With a contemplative gaze
The wisdom of faith fosters a contemplative gaze that recognizes that all of us “belong to one family, migrants and the local populations that welcome them, and all have the same right to enjoy the goods of the earth, whose destination is universal, as the social doctrine of the Church teaches. It is here that solidarity and sharing are founded.”[9] These words evoke the biblical image of the new Jerusalem. The book of the prophet Isaiah (chapter 60) and that of Revelation (chapter 21) describe the city with its gates always open to people of every nation, who marvel at it and fill it with riches. Peace is the sovereign that guides it and justice the principle that governs coexistence within it. (Uh, no, we are not ‘all one,’ that is the new age lie that obviously is false! Here he comes in with ‘contemplatives’ again, a favorite of his… linking to the eastern mystics. And, the New Jerusalem has only born again believers in Jesus… Christians in it, not muslims or other unbelievers. Get a clue! And, it arrives after Armageddon and Jesus brings it. But this is tying into the lies of the end times deception. The revelation is coming true… do not follow him!)
We must also turn this contemplative gaze to the cities where we live, “a gaze of faith which sees God dwelling in their houses, in their streets and squares, […] fostering solidarity, fraternity, and the desire for goodness, truth and justice”[10] – in other words, fulfilling the promise of peace.
Lydia Church says
part 5
When we turn that gaze to migrants and refugees, we discover that they do not arrive empty-handed. They bring their courage, skills, energy and aspirations, as well as the treasures of their own cultures; and in this way, they enrich the lives of the nations that receive them. We also come to see the creativity, tenacity and spirit of sacrifice of the countless individuals, families and communities around the world who open their doors and hearts to migrants and refugees, even where resources are scarce. (Treasures? Like ‘molatove and other cocktails? Swords shaped like a crescent? Other ‘goodies’ from their bag of riches?!?! Enrich the lives? By robbing the citizens of their pensions?! I have a friend who had her pension pushed back six years to fund the migrants!)
A contemplative gaze should also guide the discernment of those responsible for the public good, and encourage them to pursue policies of welcome, “within the limits allowed by a correct understanding of the common good”[11] – bearing in mind, that is, the needs of all members of the human family and the welfare of each. (Uh, when I ‘contemplate’ deeply…. the ‘common good’ says to: KEEP THEM THE HELL OUT!)
Those who see things in this way will be able to recognize the seeds of peace that are already sprouting and nurture their growth. Our cities, often divided and polarized by conflicts regarding the presence of migrants and refugees, will thus turn into workshops of peace. (Oh sure, in fantasy land!)
4. Four mileposts for action
Offering asylum seekers, refugees, migrants and victims of human trafficking an opportunity to find the peace they seek requires a strategy combining four actions: welcoming, protecting, promoting and integrating.[12] (promoting and integrating how?)
“Welcoming” calls for expanding legal pathways for entry and no longer pushing migrants and displaced people towards countries where they face persecution and violence. (Uh, like that Swedish lady?!) It also demands balancing our concerns about national security with concern for fundamental human rights. Scripture reminds us: “Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.”[13] (Trust me, these guys are no ‘angels’! More like when Lot opened his door the second time and the sodomites wanted to rape the angels…!)
“Protecting” has to do with our duty to recognize and defend the inviolable dignity of those who flee real dangers in search of asylum and security, and to prevent their being exploited. I think in particular of women and children who find themselves in situations that expose them to risks and abuses that can even amount to enslavement. God does not discriminate: “The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the orphan and the widow.”[14] (Yeah, against the migrants!)
“Promoting” entails supporting the integral human development of migrants and refugees. Among many possible means of doing so, I would stress the importance of ensuring access to all levels of education for children and young people. This will enable them not only to cultivate and realize their potential, but also better equip them to encounter others and to foster a spirit of dialogue rather than rejection or confrontation. The Bible teaches that God “loves the foreigner residing among you, giving them food and clothing. And you are to love those who are foreigners, for you yourselves were foreigners in Egypt.”[15] (And where does it say… “when they bomb your bridges, just keep building them so more can enter”?! Exactly. Nowhere. Because you don’t let in a trojan horse, of course. The Bible also says ‘what fellowship has light with darkness?’ These are not like Mary and Joseph, but like the invading armies of Israel or Herod who sent them running in the first place.)
“Integrating”, lastly, means allowing refugees and migrants to participate fully in the life of the society that welcomes them, as part of a process of mutual enrichment and fruitful cooperation in service of the integral human development of the local community. Saint Paul expresses it in these words: “You are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people.”[16] (Yeah, when you GET SAVED and convert to Christianity, Paul was talking to Christians! Talk about out of context bible verses, but that’s what the devil does… see Matthew 4 and Luke 4. And welcoming them to church is great, but instead we see them with butts raised high in the streets blocking traffic due to ‘prayer.’ Does not sound like they are assimilating very well, does it?)
Lydia Church says
part 6
5. A proposal for two international compacts
It is my heartfelt hope this spirit will guide the process that in the course of 2018 will lead the United Nations to draft and approve two Global Compacts, one for safe, orderly and regular migration and the other for refugees. As shared agreements at a global level, these compacts will provide a framework for policy proposals and practical measures. For this reason, they need to be inspired by compassion, foresight and courage, so as to take advantage of every opportunity to advance the peace-building process. Only in this way can the realism required of international politics avoid surrendering to cynicism and to the globalization of indifference. (More migrants! For ‘peace building’! Oh joy! And you know who he is poking at in that bottom line, don’t you?! WE are the enemy of their plot for a global government and other global agendas, of which the migrants are just a key chess piece for their goals.)
Dialogue and coordination are a necessity and a specific duty for the international community. Beyond national borders, higher numbers of refugees may be welcomed – or better welcomed – also by less wealthy countries, if international cooperation guarantees them the necessary funding.
The Migrants and Refugees Section of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development has published a set of twenty action points that provide concrete leads for implementing these four verbs in public policy and in the attitudes and activities of Christian communities.[17] The aim of this and other contributions is to express the interest of the Catholic Church in the process leading to the adoption of the two U.N. Global Compacts. This interest is the sign of a more general pastoral concern that goes back to the very origins of the Church and has continued in her many works up to the present time.
(Nonsense, this has nothing to do with the church. Like I said, the migrants are all part of the global agenda in many ways for their one world government, etc. And what does he have in mind regarding ‘attitudes and activities of Christian communities? I’m telling you, the only change you will see from us is that we will evangelize more, with a focus on these migrants and islam, to win converts to Christianity!)
Lydia Church says
part 7
6. For our common home
Let us draw inspiration from the words of Saint John Paul II: “If the ‘dream’ of a peaceful world is shared by all, if the refugees’ and migrants’ contribution is properly evaluated, then humanity can become more and more a universal family and our earth a true ‘common home’.”[18] Throughout history, many have believed in this “dream”, and their achievements are a testament to the fact that it is no mere utopia. (See? More ‘oneness’ rhetoric. And the contribution was evaluated.. on the website Jihad Watch, and we found them to be terrorists in general. We are not one, we are not a universal family, and this ‘dream’ is the new age dream that is a false illusion. You cannot attain this before the return of Jesus Christ. There are no such achievements, the root of sin is in every man until he is saved and has power over it. And it is no ‘utopia’ at all.)
Among these, we remember Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini in this year that marks the hundredth anniversary of her death. On this thirteenth day of November, many ecclesial communities celebrate her memory. This remarkable woman, who devoted her life to the service of migrants and became their patron saint, taught us to welcome, protect, promote and integrate our brothers and sisters. Through her intercession, may the Lord enable all of us to experience that “a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.”[19] (They are not our brethren in a spiritual sense. And the only Mediator between God and man is Jesus. 1 Timothy 2; 5. And whoever this lady was, I think she would have had enough sense to not let these invading armies in!)

Well once again, of many thousands of these incidents, Islam is shown to be exactly what it is…a murderous, hateful, FORCEFUL
“group” of peoples driven by a lifelong ideology that “long” ago should have been taken down by the “real” peaceful religions of the world.
Christian religions have not always been peaceful….There are many instances that show that Christians were not all that peaceful. Ill give you one “the peasant wars” back in the 1500’s, just Google it and see how Calvin and some of the so called Christian leaders treated Christianity…….BUT here is the “GREAT” difference in the Reformation era and Islam ……Islam, the religion of FORCE, has never changed from its beginning….Christianity has!!!

This is jihad and ethnic cleansing. All Christian churches in Nigeria are experiencing phenomenal growth due to Muslims leaving Islam en masse. New churches have been built every week for the last 30 years. In Nigerian churches, it is common to see high-ranking church officers with Arabic names. Jihadists are trying to discourage the conversions by ethnically cleansing Christians from Muslim-majority areas of Nigeria.
The Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, Dr. Dakuku Peterside, pointed out that MUSLIM POLITICIANS ARE ENCOURAGING THE JIHADISTS: “I sympathise with the families of the deceased, as this is another set of deaths in a local government area that was held hostage by cult groups claiming supremacy and allegedly ENJOYING SUPPORT from some POLITICIANS.

The violent and vicious Muslims who are jihadists with in their murderous persecution of Christians aren’t really going to get away with their destruction of Christians. As the apostle Paul had written each individual Christian is actually, in the View of God, a temple of God. For to Christians, it is written in the Bible “Don’t you know that that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s Temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” First Corinthians 3:16,17. The attack took place in the Southern part of Nigeria, which is predominantly Christian. Most previous attacks on churches have occurred in the North of the country where muslims form the majority. So it’s a worrying development if the likes of Boko Harem are trying to spread the carnage further south.
I agree with Robert’s comment, if Christians had attacked a mosque the media would have been all over it. but there will avoid reporting news like this as it “gives all muslims a bad reputation” and the liberal media still cling to the fiction that Islam is a religion of peace.

I’m not the first to notice and state the obvious which should be intensely sobering to any Christian who applies critical thinking… where exactly is your Biblical God before and during all these worldwide horrific events aimed at His flock? The list is endless… from all those church shootings to the countless stories like those above. If He is omniscient and omnipotent as you claim then either He is callously indifferent and totally non-caring about your suffering, torture, and death… or hasn’t the power to stop it…. even in the middle of your sincere, fervent worshiping and prayers. Hey… have you considered the possibility that this fantasy all-powerful, all-loving, all-just, omni-benevolent, Father-God is mere imagination and wish-thinking inside your own head? Seems to many of us the evidence points overwhelmingly in that direction.

Islam is a political movement cloaked in a religious garment. The killing of all innocents will not cease, or lessen, until the Savior comes in the clouds. Even then, atrocities will continue until He comes to Earth. There are two forces on Earth: Man and God. Which are you going to be ruled by?
Ray Jarman says
Having lived in Nigeria for more than three years, atrocities occur there very frequently and until Mr. Spencer and Ms. Pam Geller came on the scene no one talked about the Muslim atrocities in Nigeria or even Ethiopia except for STRATFOR and KGS NightWatch. I had not been in Nigeria for more than a couple of weeks when the Islamic thugs attacked villagers in Jos because a lady who was visiting Nigeria accidently strayed on a mosque’s property. She was dressed in shorts and obviously no hijab nor did she realize that she had ventured onto the property as the whole area was forested and no mosque visible. Even if she had known that the land belonged to the mosque, attacking her much less a local Christian village was completely but the relationship to the JihadWatch article is that not one major paper carried the story and the sorry individuals at the embassy in Abuja who worked for USSIS, now Public Diplomacy (or as many of at State called the organization – USLess) did everything to hide the story. There have been atrocities committed by the cult of the pedophilic prophet in many countries throughout the African continent with no portal and now thanks to this website, light is being shown on these horrific events.
