Exposing the role that Islamic jihad theology and ideology play in the modern global conflicts

Paris metro drivers refuse to stop at some stations for safety concerns, including one used as Muslim migrant camp

Jan 19, 2018 6:56 am By Robert Spencer

“According to the RATP union UNSA, there are drug addicts and dealers seen daily on lines 4 and 12 at stations like Marcadet Poissonnier and Porte de la Chapelle with the later station also being a well-known place for migrants to camp out.”

Ah, the glories of diverse, multicultural Paris. And just imagine what it will be like in five years, or ten. Magical!

“Paris Metro Drivers Refuse to Stop at Certain Stations Citing Passenger Safety,” by Chris Tomlinson, Breitbart, January 16, 2018 (thanks to David):

Drivers on the Paris metro are refusing to stop at certain stations due to the high level of crime and drug use claiming that the areas may not be safe for their passengers.

Drivers working for the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP), Paris’s publicly-owned transport company, say that several stations to the north of Paris have become rife with drug use and criminality and present a danger to passengers, French broadcaster BFMTV reports.

According to the RATP union UNSA, there are drug addicts and dealers seen daily on lines 4 and 12 at stations like Marcadet Poissonnier and Porte de la Chapelle with the later station also being a well-known place for migrants to camp out.

The union also says that the safety of the RATP employees is impacted in troubled areas as the number of violent incidents toward the employees has increased dramatically in recent months.

The RATP has also commented on the conditions saying that they are working with local police to try and clean up some of the more troubled stations, but UNSA and the Federation of Transport and Public Service Users, an advocacy group for transit users, say the measures are not enough.

Last week, both organisations sent letters to Interior Minister Gerald Collomb, Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, and president of the Ile-de-France regional council Valérie Pécresse requesting “urgent and serious measures be rapidly implemented”.

The move comes only months after French courier service Chronopost announced that they would not be delivering packages in certain Parisian neighbourhoods due to danger to their staff.

While the migrant-populated suburbs of northern Paris have long been considered no-go zones, the violence and crime of the suburbs have started to spread into the northern part of central Paris in recent years.

In his recent book, No Go Zones: How Sharia Law Is Coming to a Neighborhood Near You, Breitbart London editor in chief Raheem Kassam noted last February that bus drivers were avoiding certain stops in the suburb of Aulnay-sous-Bois after the area was plagued by riots.

Kassam attempted to visit the area of the rioting, which started after a man named Theo claimed that police had brutally inserted a baton into his rectum, but was told by the bus driver that the bus would not be stopping in the area.

Women in the north of the city have described being constantly harassed by men who often refuse to allow them into certain cafes.

Last year a “no-go zone” app was released for mobile phones which allowed users to look at sections of Paris and report crimes so that other users can avoid areas with a high number of reports.

Inaccurate reporting doesn’t help:” Porte de la Chapelle” is the terminus of metro line 12. If the drivers don’t stop they’ll run into a wall.

Point taken, but you know that ‘stop’ has a much broader set of meanings in a metro train or a bus.
Perhaps the drivers refuse to go down the line to the terminus of line 12?

Agree. Tourists will STOP coming to France if they don’t fix the ISLAMIC TERRORISM PROBLEM.

France’s tourism industry is a major component of the economy, as France is the most visited destination in the world.

The total contribution of travel and tourism represents 9.7% of GDP and supports 2.9 million jobs (10.9% of employment) in the country. It’s worth Eur 78 Bn a year at least for now.

I would be interested to know the source of any report claiming that foreign tourist numbers in France are ‘up’. This may be so, but, as conditions deteriorate, such a trend won’t last. Among visitors to Paris that I met in 2017 there was a clear sense that ‘if we don’t see it soon, it will be too late’.

Jihad tours could be a new industry.

They offer to take you around all the major sites of islamic peace and diversity actions, in which ever major western city you choose.

Armored transport and kevlar vests come as standard, as do mesh protected windows and IED sweeps. Emergency air extractions cost extra, but when you need one you REALLY need one.

i love it! the government stops doing its job, so the people do it instead to protect themselves. the final step should be for the people to stop paying attention to the government and arm themselves so that they can *defend* themselves, since the nazi government so obviously will not.

It seems the next step will be civil war because an app won’t solve anything. Unfortunately because war is never a good thing neither an option, it only happens when you don’t have another option.

We need to call out these Parisians for their criminaliphobia and drug-addictophobia. Criminals and drug addicts are oppressed people (look at how many wind up in prison, for gosh sakes!) who need our support. They are routinely discriminated against at customs and border crossings. I’m sure there are many politicians with financial ties to criminal and drug addict-supporting organizations–they need to increase awareness of their cause. Where are the sympathy protests?! Where are the “I am criminal” signs and “Drug addiction: Me too!” tweet-storms! Why isn’t facebook censoring all these people who clearly speak hate speech against crime and drug addiction? Let’s get the Southern Poverty Law Center on board! It’s a matter of no opportunities, no education, suppression by the ruling elite. These criminals and drug addicts just need our love and I’m sure they will integrate. Criminals and drug addicts are just like you and me!

And we must not forget, Arthur, that most of these innocent, misunderstood victims of an oppressive and bigoted society are mere CHILDREN, some as young as 35 years old. I agree, it’s an OUTRAGE!

We need to be more compassionate and tolerant towards people who find themselves in unfortunate situations caused by unemployment and lack of opportunity. The government needs to fund a program to give jobs to these criminals and drug addicts. Kind gestures will surely be returned in kind, n’est-ce pas?

      • Leon Degney says

        Jan 20, 2018 at 6:30 am

People who see no light at the end of the tunnel are prime candidates to be victims, converted to criminality and drug addiction due to lack of opportunity. It is all too easy for governments and authorities to go on a victim bashing spree, when in fact, in many cases they are a major cause of the problem.

      • LeftisruiningCanada says

        Jan 21, 2018 at 12:17 pm

Yes, we all know that poverty and economic despair are the number ones causes of jihad for the sake of allah.

In fact, some argue that mohammad’s life of deprivation and illiteracy was likely the cause of islam. If there have been a social welfare net and a centrally funded education program, it is said, the last 1400 years of slaughter, invasion and monotonous loudspeaker noise pollution could have been avoided.

Let that be a lesson to us all.

15 years ago, Marcadet-Poissonier was my regular Metro stop. I always avoided the Metro system after dark, but never felt unsafe on any journey or at any station during the day. Now, I avoid the Metro altogether if I’m travelling alone in Paris.

I work very close to Porte de la Chapelle and quite recently took the metro to get there, now it is true that metro 4 and 12 are the lines that are always “malfunctioning” but it still works most of the time.

Porte de la Chapelle has become another world entirely and drug addicts are found everywhere in Paris, Gare du Nord would be the worst, crack cocaine dealers and users are conducting their business totally out in the open (cops and RATP personal are not even 10m away), last time I was there I had to go and talk to one of them begging him to at least hide to smoke his pipe. He was smoking it in front of everyone and kids were looking at him but he did not seem to care (and the police did not care either).

    France is over.

I am a North African Berber Jew with French nationality. In my extended family we used to be more than 500 to live here in France. Today, we must be something around 150, by the end of this year less than 100.

I will be leaving France this year too.

A lot of Jews here feel like they have nowhere to go if they don’t want to live in Israel.

I think Trump should grant refugee status to European Jews as we know, deep in our blood, how this will end up for us here…

Anyway, France used to be a beautiful country, 30 years were enough to ruin it deeply.

    • StellaSaidSo says

      Jan 20, 2018 at 7:33 am

The failure of France to protect its Jewish population is a national disgrace. To trade productive, educated, law-abiding, tax-paying citizens for a violent, illiterate, welfare-sponging anti-Semitic rabble is profoundly stupid, as well as insulting to the beleaguered Jews, who have contributed so much to European life and culture. I don’t blame you for leaving France, Amnay. Where will you go?

Israel, most of my family now lives there and I’m a Zionist at heart. My only regret is being too old for the army as I should have had realized I had no future in France a very long time ago and left then to join Tsahal.

Now I’m too old for it but I know I’ll find my own way to contribute.

I am very glad to know that you have a welcoming home to go to in Israel – and I have no doubt that you will find a way to contribute! France’s loss is Israel’s gain. There is more talent per sq mile in Israel than practically anywhere else I can think of. It is just such talent that France is throwing away. It breaks my heart to see what France is doing to itself.
