Twitter just suspended my account this morning, with no specific reason given to me besides their claim that I violated their rules for “hateful conduct”. I have been on twitter for a number of years, and I was able to earn the following of 13, 500 people. I really enjoy the platform and the interaction I get on it, outside of the death threats, which I’ve received over the years on Twitter, but which Twitter didn’t always deem objectionable, after I reported them. There are at least two individuals who’ve threatened me on Twitter who still have active Twitter accounts.
I often tweeted about my comic book work, about Free Speech, against overbearing governments, but mainly against the Islamic enemy who is motivated by Islam. For too many people today, stating that fact, that this monstrous enemy embodies “one of the world’s great religions”, “the religion of peace”, is considered “hate speech”, when it’s simply the truth, or true speech. Since Twitter didn’t give me a specific example of what they claimed to be my “hateful conduct”, I think it’s simply the fact that writing Honestly about Islam means that one will inevitably insult and condemn Islam, because to write honestly about Islam is to write about unspeakable things, and things that the social media masters do not want to hear.
If I’m never to be reinstated on Twitter, I think my final tweet says it all, with my anti-Jihad superhero, Pigman, holding up The First Amendment, with my accompanying text: The three most important issues of our time are Free Speech, Free Speech and Free Speech. Only by saying what needs to be said can we do what needs to be done.

I rarely even participate in Facebook, but I recently got a notice that one of my posts violated their rules and they deleted it. It was about Muslim perfidy, and I had never seen it before in my life.

I sure like President Trump’s tweets..but I guess he will be next to loose his Twitter acct. for threatening North Korea with a “big button” on his desk.
Terry Gain says
Twitther also suspended the account of PJ Media’s Bridget Johnston, also without giving reasons. Twitter is run by liberal fascists, who are aligned with Muslim fascists. It should be regulated as a common carrier.
TL says
“liberal fascists” is silly doublespeak, and Twitter is no “common carrier”, not even if we stretch the meaning of carrier far beyond the meaning found in “Newton’s Telecom Dictionary”.
gravenimage says
Do you prefer “Leftist Fascists”?
Carolyne says
How about “Brainless Liberals?”
Peter McLoughlin says
An entire book was written articulating and demonstrating what Liberal Fascism is. I don’t expect a bigot like you to read the evidence.
https://www.amazon.com/Liberal-Fascism-American-Mussolini-Politics/dp/0767917189
Twitter is indeed liberal fascism. Provided one agrees with the mob, one is free to use Twitter without fear of being banned. There are accounts on Twitter which do nothing but tweet videos of hard core gay porn, available to be seen by any 6yo with a tablet in a home with a wifi connection. No need to even login to Twitter, the explicit porn is there for all to see, yet the tweets of most Islam critics are marked as sensitive, meaning they don’t display videos unless the user clicks through the warning.
The porn distributing accounts have been running for years. Pornographic videos of forceful anal sex is within the bounds of what the fascist mob deem acceptable these days. Speaking the truth about Islam, just quoting from that cult’s “sacred texts” is enough to get someone banned and the fascist mob will think that such banning is a good thing.
My tweets of honorific images of Mohammed painted by Muslims throughout the ages resulted in me being banned from Twitter. I should have tweeted images of men called Mohammed involved in violent anal sex. That would not have resulted in a ban.
Charlie says
All you need to do is to trace motive and money. Twitter execs could care less about Fawstin’s tweets or his comic book, except that it offends their fiduciary patrons. The OIC and MB operatives understand they can never defeat the tenets of free expression as a constitutional right. In order to censor any criticism of Islam they have taken a new strategy. With vast pools of petro-cash available in their war chests, they have stealthily funded and “invested” in critical social media. Once these behemoth monopolies on digital expression become dependent, they use their power to demand the censorship of selected content. Unless social media adopts federal anti-trust laws prohibiting such selected censorship, all criticism of Islam will cease to exist. The laws for free expression will be meaningless since corporations can subjectively censor content submitted by free citizens without regard to objective or fair principles. The Qur’an and Hadith are filled with hate speech, slander and incitement to violence. Will Twitter censor that?
LR says
That’s what I was wondering…Where is much of the $ coming from? Is it true that twitter is pressured by their ‘fiduciary patrons’, or is it simply weak-kneed PC agenda from the ‘inside’?
Are there accurate investigations on this?
It would just be good to have a real ‘record’ of who is actually promoting such ‘crackdowns’, and hypocrisies re: free speech…To continue to protest and expose the sob’s…
Leon Kushner says
I’m sorry to hear this. I myself was kicked off Twitter right at the start. The only msg I tweeted was ‘this is a test’. I too talk about the dangers of Islam on my blogs including in the Jerusalem Post. Maybe they didn’t like what I wrote there? Who knows. We both know who we are dealing with. If you wish to continue using Twitter I suggest getting a new email and get a new twitter account attached to that email.
Best Regards and please don’t stop.

According to this 2015 article, Prince Talal is the second largest Twitter shareholder:

I’m not sure that is accurate. Another source seems to show three other people as the top three Twitter shareholders.

That’s the whole point, Twitter has never made a profit so why has Prince Al-Waleed Bin Talal invested in it? only I guess to make sure that it censors out any anti-Islamic opinions

A private company does not care about civil rights – especially freedom of speech. A private company only cares about MONEY.
You do NOT delegate democracy to private companies, you do NOT expect democracy from private companies. Private companies only care about MONEY.
In short? YOU AVOID PRIVATE COMPANIES AT ALL COST IF YOU WANT TO HAVE AND KEEP YOUR CIVIL RIGHTS. And your money.
gravenimage says
Firstly, it depends on the private company.
Then, your claim that you are therefore always safer with the government is very, very questionable.
MFritz says
No, it doesn’t depend on the private company, gravenimage.
It’s “private” for a very good reason. You also do not privatise army, justice, police and fire department for the VERY same – good – reason. Not even in the US of A.

MFritz wrote:

………………………..
With all respect, yes, it does. I have my own company, and acting in an ethical manner is very important to me–including acting in accord with civil and human rights.
Moreover, in addition to concerns about cost and quality, I often take a company’s track record on human rights in deciding what companies to patronize. I am not alone in this.
More:
It’s “private” for a very good reason. You also do not privatise army, justice, police and fire department for the VERY same – good – reason. Not even in the US of A.
………………………..
I agree that there are things you do not want to privatize–including the things you listed.
But I do not believe that social platforms should be forcibly seized by the government, if that is what you are suggesting.
I think you deal with unethical actions by private companies either through the courts where appropriate, or by hitting their bottom line. If Twitter gets enough bad press, they may well reconsider.
But I say again–your assumption that every government is always even handed and always protects one’s rights is mistaken. Are you unaware that Anti-Jihadists have been prosecuted merely for speaking the truth about Islam in many places?
Peter McLoughlin says
Wrong.
Private companies in the West are forced by law to make statements with which the private companies do not agree. Like making Christian bakers produce a cake with a statement endorsing gay marriage. No Muslim bakers would be made to do such a thing.
As social media has grown to challenge the controlled media, the state is very keen to ensure that diversity of opinion is shut down.
Small-time bakers are forced to make statements that are part of political correctness. Massive conglomerates such as Twitter and Facebook are positively encouraged to censor political statements that are not politically correct.
gravenimage says
This is often true.
Sam says
Enemy within.
eduardo odraude says
Private companies are indispensable to liberal democracy, provided those private companies do not turn into monopolies. Worth considering whether Facebook, Google, Twitter are monopolies or nearly so, and should therefore be regulated as utilities instead of being standard private companies.
As a private company with a traditional legal basis (unlike, for example, the innovative idea and practice of B corporations) Twitter is legally required to prioritize shareholder value above all, which means Twitter is happy to censor content if the content interferes with maximizing profit. So Twitter may indeed go whichever way the wind blows, more or less regardless of principle.
eduardo odraude says
That Twitter ignores two threats of violence against Bosch Fawstin, and meanwhile cancels Fawstin’s account, deserves a response.
If I get the opportunity, I’ll chip in to support legal challenges seeking to turn Twitter into a public utility where freedom of speech rules. If Twitter wants to help terrorist scum like yusuf khota and Alboz to intimidate heroes, Twitter should be hated. They are enemies of the US, as far as I’m concerned. Cowards and conformists who should face legal hell on earth.

Vlad Tepes says
Social media virtual nations such as Twitter are if anything, adaptable tyrants. If they do not give a fake reason for why they banish or ostracize you, then they do not have to defend it. They know the real reason would create so much outrage that their standing and stock value would be threatened. They know if they give a fake reason at least a few people will be clever enough to figure it out and publicize it and create the same anger by the rest of the users.
So they have learned to adapt.
Punish, and do not give a reason at all. Selectively enforce to an agenda, but do not make the mistakes of the Soviets and have mock trials with such easily predictable verdicts that the court officers would have to bet on the kind of reaction the defendant would give as the only entertaining aspect of the process.
Yes the best thing to do for these new tyrants of the virtual world is to simply do the executions and don’t say why. Everyone else will still enjoy sharing cat pictures and the money will keep rolling in from various actors. Presumably along with instruction sets.
And people still will not move over to Gab.ai
So who’s fault is it?

We hear more and more of cases like these. Do leftist, sjw or islamo-supportive accounts ever get suspended, if Twitter finds NO issue with the twisteds who sent the msgs to Mr. Faustin? And the accounts being suspended are hardly sending even veiled threats against muslims, let alone “your day will come/we are watching you”.

Neither Twitter nor Facebook would exist without the support of many millions of users. Until those millions wake-up to the cost/benefit of using these platforms, they will continue to thrive, earning their income from the suffering of others.
In my view, both are foolish time wasters. Beyond that, they have provided a forum for bullies, terrorists and assorted other scum who would otherwise be forced to crawl from under their rocks to be heard. One step in the right direction would be to require users of these platforms to use under their legal identity, verified as such with appropriate documentation.
If you are going to say something on these platforms, have the fortitude to do so without hiding behind a pseudonym.

harry…I don’t agree at all, particularly where something like Islam is involved. The benefits of honest discussion and sharing far outweighs any supposed virtue one would ascribe to laying your neck on the line for those who don’t play fair and who are twisted enough to come in the dark and in groups to chop it off. What’s the saying? – oh yes, “Discretion is the better part of valor.”
Consider what is likely to happen to the Iranian protesters. They bravely show up but many choose to wear masks because they KNOW how the regime will react. There is an Islamic policy called MOHARABEH. These protestors can be charged with “waging war against Allah” – a DEATH PENALTY offense in Iran. No matter how vile a dictator or regime the only legitimate reason to overthrow an Islamic ruler is his FAILURE TO GOVERN ACCORDING TO ISLAM. So it’s Islam first, humanity second.
