Iran: Women protesting against hijab to be charged with inciting prostitution, jailed for up to ten years

Feb 27, 2018 1:32 pm By Robert Spencer

The idea behind the “inciting prostitution” charge is that it is women’s responsibility to prevent men from being tempted. If she takes off her hijab, she is inviting them to be tempted. And that’s tantamount to prostitution, in the Sharia-wracked minds of Khamenei and Rouhani.

“Women protesting against wearing the hijab in Iran will be charged with inciting PROSTITUTION and jailed for up to ten years as regime cracks down on growing dissent,” by Sara Malm, Mailonline, February 27, 2018:

Iranian women protesting the compulsory headscarf by taking off their hijab in public could be facing up to a decade in jail for ‘inciting prostitution’, police has warned.

Authorities in Iran are desperately trying to stem the growing protests across the country against the dress code enforced on women since the Islamic revolution of 1979.

More than 35 women have been arrested in the capital Tehran alone in the past two months, with several reportedly subjected to torture while in custody.

At least two of the arrested protesters, Narges Hosseini and Shaparak Shajarizadeh, are being charged with ‘inciting corruption and prostitution’, Amnesty International reports.

Ms Shajarizadeh was arrested last Wednesday and has reportedly been subjected to beatings in prison.

Activists claim she was also ‘injected with an unknown substance by the prison authorities’ upon her arrest.

Ms Hosseini was arrested just over a month ago and has since been in custody in unknown conditions.

If they are found guilty of inciting corruption and prostitution, they could face up to ten years in prison….

‘Rather than threatening women with jail terms for claiming their human rights, the authorities should immediately abolish the discriminatory, abusive and degrading laws and practices of compulsory veiling.’

The recent wave of defiance started with Vida Movahed, a 31-year-old mother-of-one whose protest and subsequent arrest on December 27 became headline news all over the world.

A video showing her calmly waving her white hijab tied to a stick above the crowds in the Iranian capital, went viral on social media.

Ms Movahed, who became known as The Girl In Enghelab Street, was released over the weekend, after spending a month in custody with her 20-month-daughter….

These women slandered by the mullahocracy as ‘prostitutes’ will now be raped in jail.

The mullahocracy should be undermined and dismantled forever. We can see that the rebellion in Iran is ripening. The Iranians must find a way to organize and overturn the mullahs. It may have to come from the mullahs themselves.

Mel-ric, there are ONE MILLION MEN WITH TRUNCHEONS called the BASIJ who will BEAT TO A PULP any ‘REAL MAN’ who tries to rebel.

Please do your homework. The BASIJ is like Hitler’s Brown Shirts.

melek-ric’s comment is genuine and in need of no homework. Regardless of the fact that BASIJ is like Hitler’s Brown Shirts, there are “no real men in Iran.” Specifically, a “real man” would not behave in this fashion — rather he would jump to defend those who are oppressed. That is one reason why my grandparents’ generation is often labeled as the “Greatest Generation.”

In case you need a more detailed description, read https://www.artofmanliness.com/2009/04/30/7-lessons-in-manliness-from-the-greatest-generation/

Um…I do know about the BASIJ, Mortimer. I was commenting on the general quality and nature of manhood in Iran and for that matter the whole of the Muslim world. Instead of being noble defenders of women, these “men” use their power to debase and enslave them. I was condemning this culture and attitude…

@melek-ric…It’s probably not only life-threatening but handicaps the reaction of good men when women themselves appear disunited on the issue (some muslimas probably can’t envision an independent life for themselves in a new, egalitarian system – and this ironically somewhat “compromises” any natural virtue).
If more people tried to grasp the objective picture they would surely begin to appreciate the crippling ramifications of such symbolic acceptance of oppression and second-class status not only for women but for their entire society.

The stupid women encouraging schools and colleges to have a “hijab day” in Western countries should be utterly ashamed of themselves. The brave women of Iran deserve our support.

Kemal Attaturk was so brilliant when he modernised Turkey and brought in a secular regime – made it the law for prostitutes to wear the hijab, that got the female population out of their 7th century clothing and getting into the 19th century, from where Erdogan is now leading them backwards.

I agree RichardL. I’m sure these women knew something terrible would befall them before they began protesting, but they did it anyway. I think they are making this sacrifice to prove to the world just how cruel and relentless the Iran dictatorship is. Iran’s leaders seem to be spoiling for war with the West. I wish diplomacy could resolve the situation, but don’t see it happening. As for Hollywood and the “feminist” movement – their words and actions label them spoiled ignoramuses who know nothing about the real Islam.

The thing I fear most (and this is most likely to happen) is that Iranian women will sacrifice themselves in vain; meaning not a single human/women’s rights organisation in the West will acknowledge their plight. And so, after having done all they possible can, seeing how no one in the West bats an eye, Iranian women will go back to being wrapped-up possessions of their men, and nothing will change in the islamic world.

This news – for you unbelievers in the feminist movement out there – more than emphasizes the hatred that the Iranian Government bears for its women. At every turn, the male population that supports ALL the draconian political tactics used against the female population in Iran, makes clear their weakness, rage, and poorly disguised denial of their need and their lust for women. Rather than face their own primitivism in the matter of human ( and, horrors, loving) sexuality, which they clearly demonstrate leaves them disempowered, they behave as despots in the long distant past have done. They murder, torture and imprison their adversaries – in this case, women. Two recent pictures – one of Turkey’s Erdogan, the other of an Iranian Ayatollah, kissing a young child fully on the mouth, is sufficient to impress even the convinced doubters of the world, that there is something terribly wrong with these …cretins. Engaging a child in such activity screams of dominance vs. dominated. So, ladies and champions of the feminist movement, why the resounding silence on this matter?

The harsh brutal oppression of girls and women in this tyrannical Islamic regime of Iran has ,many times, becomes even worse the forcing females to wear hijab against their will . As this following example reveals.
That heinously cruel and murderous Islamic tyranny of Iran is very brutal and vicious to the Iranian people. Especially regarding females. Both girls and women. For example a teenage girl in Iran was talking to her boyfriend on the phone and then the Islamic state “police” walked over to her and shot her dead. They did that wicked and malicious thing to her because she was talking to her boyfriend and they also didn’t like her clothing. [1] That was a clear cut case of murder and vicious Islamic madness by Iran’s Islamic state “ police”, who call themselves the “Revolutionary Guards”, they got away with their hideous and malice –filled evil because the mullahs as well as other villains in power in that tyrannical Islamic regime

This heinous Islamic regime of Iran is even false in its name. For it has the title of “The Islamic Republic of Iran.” It is Islamic for sure, but its falsely called a “republic.” This is because a real Republic comes from the Latin word; res-publica meaning “The property of the people” This is one thing that this brutal and harsh Islamic tyranny is not. For the mullahs and ayatollahs who have the strong and terrible power in this Islamic have much control. Even the Iranian parliament is much influenced by those ruling Muslim clerics. Those mullahs and ayatollahs of this Islamic dictatorship come down very hard on the human rights of the Iranian people through their ruthless gang of thugs who are called “The Republican Guard.” This R.G many ,times, is very brutally cruel to girls and women Furthermore, this hideous type of hard and oppressive tyranny is taught about in the Bible .For in Ecclesiastes 4 :1 in teaches about “the tears of the oppressed.” and about all the power being “on the side of the oppressors.” Likewise, in that same Bible book in 5:8 it informs the reader not to be naïve about such awful wickedness. For it teaches “If you see the poor oppressed…and justice and rights denied, do not be surprised at such things.” Moreover in Proverbs 15:15 it also teaches “All the days of the oppressed are wretched…” In addition, the Iranian president, Rouhani and ayatollah Khamenei may be described in Proverbs 28:15 which reads “Like a roaring lion or a charging bear is a wicked man ruling over a helpless people.” In short, the brutal and vicious Islamic regime of those two characters, just mention, as well as the other mullahs , ayatollahs and other Muslim tyrants who have such harsh and brutal control with their terrible oppression over the lives of the Iranian people , Proverbs 29:2 is thus very appropriate . For it teaches “When the wicked rule, the people groan. “ [N.I.V.]

    Feb 27, 2018 at 2:39 pm

This Islamic regime was based in the foundation of false and empty promises. As well as lying words. After the fiendish Muslim clerics obtained total power in Iran they showed their true colors by having their Islamic state police who are called the “Revolutionary Guards truest the people on Iran in many heinously brutal and ruthless ways. As, for example, their brutal, callous misogyny against both girls and women. This statement is explained, in some detail, by the following. This tyrannical Islamic regime in Iran that so falsely and inappropriately has the word “republic” in its title. It should be made known that this called the “Iranian Revolution” turned out to be a hoax. Ayatollah Khomeini before achieving power in Iran in his lying and deceptions presented himself to the Iranian people as if he was someone who would be in power would give freedom to the people of Iran with any tyranny. The reality turned out to be just the opposite. As explained by a former Muslim as well as a man who took part in this Islamic “revolution “ ,who is now a Christian informs the reader of his book that “Prior to the Revolution no one ever imagined that other political parties would be suppressed under the rule of Ayatollah Khomeini. He had promised that all groups would have freedom to run their own campaigns after the Revolution. He even stated that governing system would be based on the decision of the people via a referendum. He never spoke of a system that would be governed by Islam. He even made clear that mullahs would not take part in any political activities, and that they would only be allowed to teach spirituality… Immediately after the Revolution, mullahs rushed into government offices to occupy the most important political l positions, making it difficult for the interim secular government to function … The mullah’s occupation of position was exactly the opposite to what the Ayatollah Khomeini had promised before the Revolution.”. [1] In other words, the insincere, disingenuous and outright lying Ayatollah Khomeini made many bogus promise he really had no intention of keeping. His lying deception worked, for he achieved great power in Iran.
Furthermore, of the many heinously evils outcome s of that Islamic “revolution” is the extremely cruel, brutal and demonic misogyny of this hideous Islamic regime. Not only against women but even young girls. As explained by a former Iranian Revolutionary Guard member who defected to the West and how now lives in America his book also informs the reader about the malicious and murderous affront girls in Iran’s Evin prison which reads that those in power ,the “paraded teenage girls in front in front of me as they led them to their deaths. These girls were barely out of their childhood, barely old enough to think of themselves, much less form thoughts against the state. They knew nothing about the machinations of politics. They were innocent in every sense of the word and certainty innocent of trumped –up charges that led to their imprisonment. Yet they suffered fates too brutal for even the most vicious criminal. ..Their few remaining moments of life had been filled with the level of abuse that few can imagine…The author further states “They tortured and killed young girls, in God’s name and before their execution they raped them because they believed that if a girl dies virgin, she will go to heaven, and they wanted to deny them this reward.” [2] This is as malice -filled and viciously wicked as can possibly be. This, very much, reflects the wisdom found in POOR RICHARDS’ Almanack IN WHICH Benjamin Franklin printed “Those who are feared are also hated.”

Shariah is riddled with the vague charge of “corruption”. In this case it’s inciticing corruption.
Elsewhere the charge is spreading corruption. So, spreading and/or inciting corruption, along with blasphemy, form the core of Shariah. Blasphemy is a catch-all charge that is used against anyone who upsets the people in charge who, in turn, incite the public to enforce the law. This is how Islam is practiced in “moderate” Muslim countries.

For defying the false logic that underpins the enforced wearing of the hijab, this woman is a true feminist. Much more than her “feelings” are at stake. She has no safe space, no speaker to shut down, no men to exclude. And she has lived her entire life in a true “rape culture”. This is not the imaginary rape culture on college campuses in the US. Will a single Western feminist stand up for her? No. Never. They have abandoned her, and in doing so reveal their true motivations; “appearing” virtuous and hating white non-Muslim men.

All non-Muslim females in the West who ever don an hijab to show “solidarity” with their “Muslim sisters” are, in effect, useful idiots enabling evil.

Islam is bad news for females. Clearly. The rape of non-Muslim women because they do not “cover themselves” is condoned by Islam, for instance in Suras 4, 23, 33 and 70 of the Koran. Moreover, the reputed (and repulsive) founder of Islam himself raped non-Muslim women. One knows all this by now or should know it. No more excuses for what Islam intends for all of female kind but, for that matter, no more excuses for what Islam intends for all of mankind.

I would close here by noting that the previous President of the United States, one Barack Obama, made excuse after excuse for Islam, including the chastising of all those who pointed out that the wearing of the hijab signified just how much it is the woman’s responsibility to make sure that men do not lust after her. Shame on Obama for this. Forever.

Remember when you point at someone with one finger three are pointing back at you. In our soicieties a man doesn’t tell a woman what to wear and when to wear it. In your society men are weak so they have to suppress women in order to look masculine. What a joke. We have fought a long time for equality and now someone from a undereducated society will tell us we have to cover ourselves because if we not we are prostitutes? What are you smoking? Those leftist useful idiots showing solidarity with their suppressed “Muslim sisters” should have their head examined. CONTROL AND LUST IS WHAT ISLAM MAN ARE ALL ABOUT. If Ibrahim Itace has anything to contradict what I am saying this is his time. There are many cultures in the world that allow men to have more than one wife. But the so called religion of moral conduct
THE ONLY REASON WHY MUSLIMS ARE FORCING THEIR WOMEN TO COVER THEMSELVES IS NOTHING THAN THEIR MENS BEING LUSTFUL AND PERVERTED. THEY CANNOT SEE A SKIRT PASSING BY.
The typical example is of the father of all lies MUHAMMAD; he was the greatest LUSTFUL HUMAN BEING I’ve ever heard. HE COULD NEVER KEEP HIS PANTS UP AND TO APPEASE HIS LUSTFULL DESIRES HE HAD 22 WOMEN TO HAVE SEX WITH. “PATHETIC” below are their names:
        Khadija, 2. Sawda, 3. Aesha, 4. Omm Salama, 5. Halsa, 6. Zaynab (of Jahsh), 7. Jowayriyi, 8. Omm Habiba,9. Safiya, 10. Maymuna (of Hareth),11. Fatema, 12. Hend, 13. Asma (of Saba), 14. Zaynab (of Khozayma), 15. Habla,16. Asma (of Noman), 17. Mary the Christian (Concubine/ slave), 18. Rayhana ( Conubine/slave), 19. Omm Sharik, 20,Omm Sharik, 21. Maymuna, 22. Zaynab (a third one), 22 Khawla.
YOU MUST BE SICK IN YOUR BRAIN TO HAVE ALL THOSE WOMEN, AN UNQUENCHED SEXUAL DESIRE, IT IS LUST ON THE HIGHEST LEVEL. this is the only reason why women are struggling in ISLAM they are nothing but OBJECTS OF SEXUAL PLEASURE, that is why when they try to come out, they demonised by being called prostitutes in order to NULIFY ANY ATTEMPT for help. Other Muslim women cannot do anything because they are scared of being tortured too or being killed should they try to assist the bold ones. Ibrahim who cannot respond to my questions

I think by nudity, Ibrahim, you would mean, among other parts of the female anatomy, bare arms, a visible neck line, a woman’s calves, a female’s hair fully exposed of course, and, Allah forbid, a little cleavage showing. Now, this is not nudity by virtually any standard except that extra stupid and ridiculously chauvinistic standard, i.e., the Muslim standard.

But you see, Ibrahim, pretty much the rest of the world rejects this Mohammedan standard and non-Muslim men don’t put the onus on women to cover most everything lest they be so sexually excited they can’t control themselves. So, in addition to all the other stupidities and errors of Islam, one can add what constitutes female nudity in Muslimthink. And, Allah forbid again, that a woman should wear a bikini because then she really is deserving of rape, now isn’t she, Ibrahim? Yep, that kind of female really does deserve to be raped, right Ibrahim, because she has not come near enough to covering herself by Mo’s standards, even though Mo himself had sexual intercourse with nine-year old Aisha.

Islam is so sick, Ibrahim, and with each passing year more and more of mankind is becoming aware of this. Why, just think of all the people who twenty years ago did not think negatively of Islam, but now, after reading what Islam really intends for women and really for all mankind, they are entirely fed up with Mo’s creed, which is sick to its very core for sundry reasons.

Stick it where the sun never shines, Ibrahim. You can place the Koran there too.

One of the ways is by use of band of thugs who are who are called the “Revolutionary Guards.” Therefore many of the Iranians live in awful fear of those tyrants in power in that Islamic regime. To such oppressive tyrannical control by this “mullah’s regime” the wisdom found in one of the periodicals of POOR RICHARD’S ALMANACK has the answer which may apply to this subject. In the matter of prostitution (and these women are not prostitutes), the Quran permits the prostitution of slaves “And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. ” (S 24:33) Mo instituted or permitted the practice of Muta. Temporary Marriage: Revisiting Muhammad’s Permitting a Form of Prostitution known As Muta http://www.answering-islam.org/Responses/Osama/muta.htm The Four Pillars of Mut’a https://www.al-islam.org/muta-temporary-marriage-in-islamic-law-sachiko-murata/four-pillars-muta

In the matter of the hijab, this was Umar ibn al-Khattab’s idea, something that Allah supposedly agreed with him on and the practice of wearing it adopted after he had perved on Sawdah when she was relieving herself. Narrated `Umar (bin Al-Khattab):

My Lord agreed with me in three things: -1. I said, “O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), I wish we took the station of Abraham as our praying place (for some of our prayers). So came the Divine Inspiration: And take you (people) the station of Abraham as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers e.g. two rak`at of Tawaf of Ka`ba)”. (2.125) -2. And as regards the (verse of) the veiling of the women, I said, ‘O Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ)! I wish you ordered your wives to cover themselves from the men because good and bad ones talk to them.’ So the verse of the veiling of the women was revealed. -3. Once the wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) made a united front against the Prophet (ﷺ) and I said to them, ‘It may be if he (the Prophet) divorced you, (all) that his Lord (Allah) will give him instead of you wives better than you.’ So this verse (the same as I had said) was revealed.” (66.5). https://sunnah.com/bukhari/8/53 Revelation of the Hijab https://wikiislam.net/wiki/Revelation_of_the_Hijab Allah according to Mo wears hijab. A’mash has narrated this hadith on the same authority and said:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was standing amongst us and he told us four things. He then narrated the hadith like the one reported by Abu Mua’wiya, but did not mention the words” His creation” and said: His veil is the light. https://sunnah.com/muslim/1/353 Suhaib reported the Apostle (ﷺ) saying:

When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish Me to give you anything more? They would say: Hast Thou not brightened our faces? Hast Thou not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said: He (God) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would he dearer to them than the sight of their Lord, the Mighty and the Glorious. https://sunnah.com/muslim/1/356 Abu Musa reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was standing amongst us and he told us five things. He said: Verily the Exalted and Mighty God does not sleep, and it does not befit Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and lifts it. The deeds in the night are taken up to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is the light. In the hadith narrated by Abu Bakr (instead of the word “light” ) it is fire. If he withdraws it (the veil), the splendour of His countenance would consume His creation so far as His sight reaches. https://sunnah.com/muslim/1/352

As an Iranian I support a vast obvious military action against all the IRGC bases in Iraq, Syria and wherever else they’ve made a terrorist colony. If you humiliate them in an obvious way they’ll lose all their credibility to ppl who they have brainwashed. If Iran is going to be occupied as a result of that so be it. I look at Germany. They got to go to that war too but at the end it was better for them rather than going through a long period of declination and possible full destruction of their civilization and culture….this what happening now in Iran.
