Somehow Yusuf Ozan has gotten the idea that Islamic law mandates violence, and isn’t about just getting the kids to school on time and hitting the gym regularly. How odd! Doubtless some CAIR spokesmen is on his way to Turkey now to explain to Ozan how he is misunderstanding the peaceful dictates of the religion of peace.
“Islamist TV calls for murder of secular newspaper’s editors,” Ahval News, February 12, 2018 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
A host for the Turkish Islamist Akit TV called for the killing of secular Cumhuriyet newspaper’s editors, saying their murder would be permissible according to Islam.
Yusuf Ozan, the host of Akit TV’s morning show, displayed Cumhuriyet’s frontpage on Sunday which had the headline “11 martyrs in Afrin” about news of 11 Turkish soldiers being killed on Saturday, the deadliest day since Turkish military incursion into Syria’s Afrin started on Jan. 20.
“I wish there was a one-man regime, then he would shut you down. I wish there was Sharia [Islamic Law] in this country, then they would hang you all.” Ozan was quoted by Cumhuriyet as saying.
“You are all traitors… trouble makers who hide behind the democracy cover. Your heads should be chopped off,” Ozan said.
“Democracy is a fiction, it is permissible to murder you during the war [according to Islam]… You don’t have even one bit of faith in you,” he said.
Cumhuriyet is one of the last opposition newspapers in Turkey after several were shut down and others succumbed to pressure from the government to change their editorial line….

Yusuf Ozan has forgotten that draconian laws may at some future time be used AGAINST HIM and he will have no JOURNALIST WHO WILL DEFEND HIS CAUSE!
Stockholm Center for Freedom which stated that 214 journalists were jailed, 22 convicted, 4 detained and 103 wanted as of May 12, 2017.
Journalists are often imprisoned in F-tipi cezaevi (F-type high security prisons), where they have to serve their time with the most dangerous criminals. It is also not uncommon to punish journalists with solitary confinement for extended time periods.

HERE IS A CLEAR STATEMENT OF ISLAMIC BIGOTRY FROM YUSUF OZAN:
“You are all traitors… trouble makers who hide behind the democracy cover. Your heads should be chopped off,” Ozan said.
“Democracy is a fiction, it is permissible to murder you during the war [according to Islam]… You don’t have even one bit of faith in you,” he said.
Conclusions:
– people who disbelieve Islam have no rights
-democracy stops Sharia law
-democracy should be replaced with an absolute Islamic dictatorship under a plenipotentiary caliph

At least there is no taqiyya on display here! Proof that this Islamofascist mirrors his leader – Erdogan.

Muslims only use Taqiyya when they believe Infidels are strong. When they are emboldened–as in Turkey–they don’t bother.
Gjallarhornet says
He seems to forget that in war different rules also applies to whoever is fighting Turkey. Which – one day – will be us. Somebody should teach this fool to be careful with what you wish for. According to Homer, more tears are shed for answered prayers.

The real savage nature of these beasts come out from time2time, except those mad dhimmi left liberals do not take notice.
CogitoErgoSum says
After learning more about the term “harbi” I think “dhimmi” may need to be replaced with ” traitorous harbi” in many instances of liberal pandering. A dhimmi is one who pays tribute to the Muslims and has submitted to Islamic rule. However, I think the leftists do and say as they do because they expect to RECEIVE payment from the Muslims (either in the form of money or in votes). No, these PC multi-culturalist liberals are what the Muslims would call “harbis.” It describes those who are the people living in non-Muslim lands that are infidels and just naturally deserving of death ……. except that these “helpful” harbis are traitors to their own people and are therefore more useful to the cause of spreading Islam if left alive …. until Islamic victory is achieved. A traitorous harbi is lower than a dhimmi ….. even in the eyes of the Muslims.
CRUSADER says
Dhimmi is still just way funner to say. 😉
As in “Don’t be a Dhimmi!”
“Dumb as a Dhimmi”
Or….”You can learn a lot from a Dhimmi”
Additionally, “Traitorous Harbi-tude” just doesn’t have a ring to it.

CogitoErgoSum says
True …. dhimmi and dummy do seem to go together. Harbi maybe not be as catchy but I think people need to know what the Muslims think of them ……. so, yeah, to a Muslim a dhimmi is a dummy and a habi is what???? ……….. dead meat? Going to be a hard sell to get that to catch on.

Shariah is creeping along….like the snake it is.

Actually, it’s the same lesson as everywhere (even in the US):
Once a political party panders too much to fringe extremists and continually plays the populist card against the majority of the population, the country will go civil war – or shithole.

YES!!!

“Islamists” are anything but “fringe extremists” in Turkey, I’m afraid.
MFritz says
The islamists used to be quiet for decades. As the military and government agencies would push back hard on them. Alas, the democratic backbone of Turkey was systematically eroded by the likes of Erdogan. And once he had replaced the military leaders that was it.
gravenimage says
True, MFritz.
No Muzzies Here says
And yet the left will still push for the installation of Sharia in this country.
gravenimage says
I don’t think they are really pushing for it–they just don’t recognize it as a danger.
LeftisruiningCanada says
The impression i get here in Canada is that there is a bit of pushing being done by the Left and the muslims they have raised to power. As usual the Lefties are looking to invest in future voting stock, while also satisfying their urge to engineer society and at the same time show their disdain for regular Canadians.
The muslims, who already have way more representation in government than their share of the population, are pushing for the obvious reasons.
gravenimage says
I still don’t think most on the left have any idea what Shari’ah really means. Certainly, none of the leftists I’ve run into here do.

Turkey was never really secular. Mosques are state controlled, imams are government employees, etc.

Interesting article from Family Security Matters:
—– Time is Ripe for Removal of Mullahs —–
by AMIL IMANI February 14, 2018
There were never any questions about the Islamists denigrating Iran and exulting Muhammad. These mullahs owe their very livelihood and very existence to the lucrative business that Muhammad launched for their parasitic and shameful existence. It is vital for these leeches to continue trumpeting the sainthood of their business founder driving all other competition out of Iran. Give these worms credit for paying homage to the source of their shameful livelihood.
The battle against these pseudo-humans is arduous and long. It is with the true sons and daughters of Iran and the rest of humanity with both integrity and conscience to fumigate these leeches from the body of planet Earth.
Iranians hope this new uprising, is not a repeat of 2009 when Obama threw a lifeline to the mullah’s regime by not supporting the Iranian people and in effect siding with the genocidal mullahs. These turbaned thugs were taking their final breath, completely broke, and the good old USA comes to the rescue releasing billions of dollars at the end of Obama’s second term while easing other sanctions. Hard to understand.
Iran is a land of beauty and love, but also a land of turmoil. At this critical crossroad in her history, this old nation, perhaps, the mother of all nations, needs all of you. This very rich culture has given the world many great scientists, in all areas, unparalleled poets, such as Rumi, Ferdowsi and Hafez.
Iran has the youngest and brightest and the most educated population of any country at this time in history. Iranians, like many other nationalities, have been struggling to achieve the liberty, justice and freedom that are being enjoyed, mostly, in western countries.
The current revolt may not lead to the immediate downfall of the regime, but we are witnessing the death throes of the Islamic Republic. Even if the uprising ends today, it is but one step in a long struggle to achieve a more representative, democratic and popular government.
Iran’s Islamic leaders were surprised by the scale and location of the protests that first erupted over economic grievances on Dec. 28, and then quickly turned political and spread to more than 130 cities and towns – many of them long considered conservative bastions of regime support.
What we are observing in Iran now should not be viewed as a selective outcry, but rather a work in progress, a hybrid momentum that started in 1999 and led by students who later became involved in the Green Movement. They are belatedly joining the current unrest, which is evolving to include new social classes of people who were not at the center of previous protests.
As has been reported, there will be two massive rallies in Iran going head to head on February 11, 2018. One, by the unarmed Iranian people in every city and town across Iran, fighting for freedom and liberty. The other rally will be led by the brutal and heavily armed Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Basij forces (a paramilitary terrorist organization) and their paid supporters on the occasion of the 1979 victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.
As usual and sadly, the IRI will completely disconnect the Internet, including Instagram, Telegram, the country’s cell phone towers and other methods of communication, in the fear the world will witness the true reality and the real conditions in Iran.
Islamic Republic has stationed revolutionary and militia troops to actively and deliberately prevent anyone from any demonstrations or objections against the totalitarian regime. They are planning to silence people by any means available to them.
Meanwhile, the regime’s propaganda (media) machine and their allies in the west, the Washington Post and New York Times among others, will broadcast only the IRI’s version of events.
Time has arrived to end Mullahs reign of terror. We Iranians and Iranian-Americans in spirit-free people of the world-greatly cherish individual liberty and freedom, where the mind is imbued with enlightenment, and every individual by virtue of being born human is afforded measured freedom. It is within the open expanse of liberty that each and every person can be at his or her best. And when the individual person is at his best, humanity is as well.

Turkish TV host to secular newspaper editors: “I wish there was Sharia in this country, then they would hang you all”
…………………………..
With way things are going with Islamization under Erdogan, Yusuf Ozan may well soon get his wish.
More:
A host for the Turkish Islamist Akit TV called for the killing of secular Cumhuriyet newspaper’s editors, saying their murder would be permissible according to Islam.
Yusuf Ozan, the host of Akit TV’s morning show, displayed Cumhuriyet’s frontpage on Sunday which had the headline “11 martyrs in Afrin” about news of 11 Turkish soldiers being killed…
…………………………..
Actually, describing these Turkish soldiers as “Martyrs” isn’t all that secular. But what Ozan probably means is that the paper should not have dared to mention that things were difficult for the Turks at all.
More:
“I wish there was a one-man regime, then he would shut you down. I wish there was Sharia [Islamic Law] in this country, then they would hang you all.” Ozan was quoted by Cumhuriyet as saying.
…………………………..
Erdogan has served as prime minister or president since 2003–that’s pretty damn close to a one-man rule. But he still has to at least go through the motions of elections, so this isn’t Islamic enough for Ozan.
More:
“You are all traitors… trouble makers who hide behind the democracy cover. Your heads should be chopped off,” Ozan said.
“Democracy is a fiction, it is permissible to murder you during the war [according to Islam]… You don’t have even one bit of faith in you,” he said.
…………………………..
This attitude is mainstream Islam.
I hope the staff of Cumhuriyet is able to stay safe.

Agree with that. The religious ones can’t stand to admit they aren’t the best. Unbelievable vileness coming from Yusuf abey
Westman says
These dummies never get it. Too many nations call their countries “democratic”. The Democratic Republic of (fill in here) is a sham when it is corrupt or takes away the freedom of the citizens.
The core issue is FREEDOM, something that both islam and advanced socialism lack. If you cannot speak criticism to power then you are but a slave to the political and/or economic system.
The US is the last bulwark of freedom with an adequate arm to protect other nations, yet, many willingly lose sight of meritocracy to line their own pockets, redistribute wealth, and give away the privileges earned by their ancestor’s blood to the seditious who have designs to destroy them.
Sharia is just another form of communism that benefits the leaders and milks a nation into incompetence as incentive to produce is destroyed. Ah, but , you see, they have prayers and a “brotherhood” to keep you so busy you won’t realize you’ve been robbed.
Turkey is at a crossroad – freedom, or, slavery to Sharia. Take the later and no one but Turks will call Turkey, “The best of peoples”.

I get so tired of this fact:
When a muslim does wrong, it is excused away as some sort of ‘extremist exception’.
But when a Christian (so called) does wrong, they blame it on their religion.
Only the Bible tells you to do good and not to do evil, and the koran mandates evil things like terrorism.
So, when a muslim does these evils, he is fulfilling the koran (his religion).
And when a Christian does wrong, he is contradicting the Bible (Christianity).
A Christian can only be a Christian if he follows the teachings of Christ, so if he goes too far, he removes himself from the faith. (Matthew 10; 32-33 is just one example of this.)
So it is the Christian doing good and abstaining from evil who fulfills Christianity,
and it is the muslim doing evil who fulfills islam!
A religion is dictated by its ‘holy book’ and the mandates found within it.
So it is the ‘peaceful’ muslim who is the exception, as is the violent ‘Christian’ (so called)!
But as always, the media has this backwards!
