This is why I will not sign up for Twitter or Facebook. I will not support leftist and Islamic based thought policing, which is what you get from Twitter and Facebook. Further, the narrow minded leftist minions at Twitter and Facebook would be the first to report to any government those messages that they believe warrant prosecution for hate speech crimes. I would expect that they routinely compile message and save dossiers on their targets for that purpose. If they do not now, soon enough they will. They cannot help themselves in this way.

The growth in computer capacity and capability is making it more and more possible for them to assess and control all information on their platform. There is no overwhelming them. Twitter has already been exposed for messing up the President’s account and a willingness to use all his Twitter communication against him. If they are prepared to do it to him, they will have no problem turning in the average conservative for hate speech prosecution as it suits them. I am not volunteering for that treatment.
What they really need is competition. They have no incentive to be honest without it. Right now, there is none — so they do as they please.

I don’t use Twitter. I don’t use Facebook.
No one who cherishes liberty should (I might make an exception for President Trump re Twitter because this is a way he has of getting truth across and, as a bonus, driving lefties crazy) since these are outlets for the exculpation of a lot of rot, with Islam, this entire damn religion, deserving of the “top spot” here.
Twitter is a collective coward. Facebook too. Don’t use them. Rather, do you your best to denigrate them by way of other outlets (like Jihad Watch, your local newspaper, talk radio, with friends and family, etc.), with the ultimate goal in mind of these deficiencies eventually being placed on the margins of society, which is where Islam should, of course, be placed too.
Excuse making for evil is NEVER a positive. Here Twitter and Facebook, in a sensible court of public opinion, as opposed to a true legal court where strict rules of law should and must apply, are guilty of aiding malevolence. Yes, never underestimate that unofficial “court of public opinion.” It can often times do far more good than any official court of law.
mummymoviesays
Might as well toss Google into that lot, as well.
Self-appointed demigods Tristan Harris and his ilk censor and exclude search results and YouTube search results critical of this damned religion. They arrogantly declare that they are capable to shape people’s choices and decide what people are going to think for them, in addition to the all of the tracking and data-mining activities.
Who knows for sure. I use DDG mostly, but they probably get their results from Google or similar.
Worst part is the Goog started out with such lofty ideals – Destroy Microsoft’s monopoly – yet they are now almost as bad.
The important thing to remember is that there is improvement.
Microsoft were already engaged in rewriting history with Encarta the alternative encyclopaedia. It was Google and Wikipedia which which put a stop to that project, so we must trust that this latest monopoly will also meet it’s match.
A better approach is for all counter-jihadis & critics of Islam to use Twitter and Facebook any way we see fit, and frustrate the Thought Police by overwhelming them with sheer numbers & volume of material.
If you despise the politically-correct idiots who own Twitter, Facebook, and Google, you can take a mischievous pleasure in using their platforms to publicly & honestly address the ONE issue we are most strictly forbidden to discuss truthfully: Islam.
Use the weapons of these clueless social justice warriors to fight the spread of Islam, and to promote common sense, candor, and an appreciation of Western culture & Western civilization.
Problem is that they’ve already cottoned onto this tactic, and have automated processes for ‘shadow banning@ such acounts, so that you don’t even realise you’re being excluled:-
Indeed, and why it is optimal not to work within these crushers of freedom (though an understandable but ultimately wrong approach) but rather to shun them and seek other outlets, all the while they become only the voice of those intent upon eradicating freedom.
Sometimes life leaves you with only bad options and so you are forced to choose the least bad option. I would argue having nothing to do with Facebook, Twitter, et al. is the least bad option.
