?‼?? Terrible, if already an infant has to live under the burden of hijab. pic.twitter.com/hm2GqMZ778

What a cute little girl, right? Only greasy Islamophobes could look at this video and not find it heartwarming, right? Well, consider this: the whole idea of the hijab (and niqab) is that it is entirely the woman’s responsibility to prevent men from being tempted. She must cover herself in order to forestall that temptation. So putting a hijab on a toddler is tantamount to stating that a prepubescent girl is a legitimate object of sexual desire, and thus must behave in the same way that is expected of adult women.
There needs to have an honest and open public discussion about this, and its implications for the rights of women and girls, but instead, cries of “Islamophobia” will drown it out, and the hijab left firmly in place on the youngest of girls. Only the greasiest of Islamophobes could possibly object.

i see these throughout my area in vancouver canada, and work experience high school hijabs with long shirts and bagged hair unlike their food service/retail coworkers uniform.
the headbagged little girls i mean. on the rare chance seeing a niqab the guy has the big dress tunic. : (
one couple had the kids in similar outfits to the parents but the girl’s clothing looked entirely like an old ratty blanket compared to her bro’s long fresh tunic.

In the city where I live a school had a hijab day. This happened without the parents consent. When the parents found out some complained. Good for them.

Until Islam permits apostasy without physical punishment (i.e., death/jail), the hijab is equivalent to a mark of slavery. What parent would be OK with their child being told to dress up in slave chains for a day?

According to Deuteronomy 38:15, “When Judah saw her, he thought she was a prostitute, for she had covered her face.” That makes sense because Islam devalues and demeans women…and completely covering women’s faces is a method of debasing them.

Because Judaism is much better: ” According to Deuteronomy 22:28-29″ “If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife….”

Now, anything to say about ISLAM, the point of this post and this entire site?

Rape is not implied.
It may be seduction.
But at least there is a consequence, unlike we see in modern times.

I did a double take on this tiny little girl in head covering. It is enough to make me want to toss my cookies. I bet dad insists on it, given the proclivity that some Muslim men have for children.

Islam is superb at child abuse. As here.
Hey, ideally, and seen from an Islamic perspective, this young kid might very well grow up and become a suicide bomber for the greater glory of Allah, Mohammed and Mo’s creed.
To all I say Islam is sick to its very core. About no other major religion would I ever say this. I might disagree with other major faiths’ theological contentions, but this is quite different from asserting, as I just did, that Islam is putrid through and through.
I detest Islam. Those who are for such things as freedom, equality under the law, a true Golden Rule for all and, yes, an absence of child abuse, should, actually must, detest Islam. There is no defensible alternative.

Not necessarily. Little girls often imitate their mothers. They find it fun. It is fun, as a toddler, to feel like an adult. Also the parents might happen to be conservative Muslims who want to teach the proper dress code to their children from an early age. This is normal parental behavior. The hijab has been a custom for Muslim women for ages and so naturally that will be passed on down.
The only question is whether this little girl will be forced to wear a hijab when she is big enough to choose. She shouldn’t be forced, of course.

I have discussed the niqab and the hijab a hundred other places and have nothing more to add. I loathe and hate these garbs and would vote in a complete ban at the drop of a hat, if I had the power. The little girl is probably a citizen in the Western country, where the video must have been shot. We have – thus – a whole culture (ours!) – who relish the fact that a citizen as young as a toddler is wrapped up, taken away from the introduction path to a free society, marked (by the clothes) as belonging to a different tribe and prepared for a life with none of the freedoms we love our citizens to have, freedoms the liberals claim are universal and love to indulge in themselves. The child is sacrificed to a barbarous cult, denied our freedoms, despite being, by means of her passport and place of birth and upbringing, one of us. If her parents cult have success with the way the now toddler grows up – she’ll end up hating the country where she was born, instead of being a loving, caring human being.
If this is not handing the babies over into the red, burning arms of Moloch – what is?
The collective hypocrisy and cognitive dissonance in the discourse on these matters is staggering. And as usual – we – the ones of us who just want to see the little toddler grown up to be a free, young woman enjoying western freedom in twenty years, are stamped racists and evil. Everything is now so beyond the pale that it makes you sometimes think that collective suicide is the only way out.
Gjallarhornet says
Just a comment. Of course the video can have shot in Dubai or some place like that, but that would not change anything in my argument,
