Islamic supremacists traffic in intimidation in attempting to silence their foes and all critics of jihad terror. Far from being discriminated against, after his false claim Ahmed Mohamed was showered with adulation from “Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton and Google co-founder Sergey Brin,” while “Tweets, think pieces and daytime TV segments were dedicated to dissecting how Ahmed’s situation typified racism and Islamaphobia [sic] in America,” and he “visited the Google Science Fair, met with Sudan’s President Omar al Bashir, posed with the queen of Jordan at a United Nations Summit, appeared on the ‘Doctor Oz’ show and last night, made it to the White House.”
Ahmed Mohamed became the darling of the political and media elites and met Obama. He was celebrated everywhere as an innocent victim of “Islamophobia.” He became an international hero. This lawsuit was a naked attempt to continue the intimidation efforts that his clock represented. His clock, which looked like a suitcase bomb, was a strike against the dictum “If you see something, say something”: after Ahmed’s clock, school officials and others will think twice before committing career suicide by questioning suspicious behavior by Muslims. After that, Ahmed and his family moved in for the kill, trying to intimidate people into not even daring to criticize Muslims who engage in these intimidation tactics, for fear of being slapped with a lawsuit.
“Judge dismisses lawsuit of Muslim boy’s dad with prejudice,” Associated Press, March 15, 2018:
DALLAS – A judge has dismissed with prejudice a lawsuit filed by the father of a Muslim boy arrested after taking a homemade clock to his Dallas-area school.
The decision Tuesday by U.S. District Judge Sam Lindsay of Dallas means that Mohamed Elhassan Mohamed’s lawsuit cannot be refiled again based on the same claims. The judge also ordered the family to cover all of the costs of the lawsuit.
The family of Ahmed Mohamed had complained that the Irving, Texas, school district discriminated against the boy, then 14, in 2015 because of his race and religion.
Ahmed was charged with having a hoax bomb. Police later dropped the charge, but he was suspended. His family didn’t send him back to the school.
His case drew international attention, and then-President Barack Obama invited him to the White House.

I saw them twice in the late eighties. Black crossover punk rock.
Haven’t heard this song in years.
Counter-jihad is inherently in-line with punk rock ethos and ideology. In fact, islam represents everything we punks have been against since we began.
Unbelievable how cowardly my contemporaries have shown themselves to be; it’s important we get brave and stick with our principles, because at this point, punks feel, and maybe indeed are, virtually alone in the counter-jihad effort.
Thanx for the post.

Didn’t the whole family pack up and buggar off to Qatar or the UAE? I’m 100% sure I read that, quite a while ago.
Glad to see the Judge had the sense – although let’s face it. This idiot family would have had better success if they’d emigrated to a state like California to begin with, rather than good ole’ Texas. They seem to be a rather no-nonsense bunch in that state.

So all the free stuff Ahmed’s family got for successfully conning liberals (including a crowdfunding campaign and gifts from Microsoft and Facebook) wasn’t enough for his dad. Just think about it, tens of thousands of dollars (at least) for taking apart an old digital clock and putting it in a box to make it look like a bomb. Then getting his son involved in the con, which is disgusting. They should be billed for all the man hours they wasted away and the dad should be charged with child abuse.

No, no, no and again – No! This is not what happened here. Nobody from Obama downwards believed the story that this kid had “accidentally” made something that just happened to look like a bomb: They all understood at an instinctive level what was going on, and eagerly leapt on the bandwagon.
The air of injured innocence swirling around this bit of dawah gave them the perfect excuse to pretend to believe it and act all “Ah – bless him…” over it, and the fact that so many others went along with it, also gave them the perfect “Well – how was I to know?” get-out in case it turned out not to be true.
This is what victimology is all about – finding the right buttons to give people the excuse to do what they wanted to do in the first place – to achieve “a willing suspension of disbelief”.
Zuckerberg, Obama, the Left, the media etc etc are gasping for any and every opportunity to shame and put peer-pressure on anyone who dares to question mass-migration and muslim supremacism, and
this whole “the kid and the bomb that wasn’t” caper was constructed to appeal to that mentality – to let them “virtue-signal” like crazy whilst simultaneously advancing their own politics.
“I know I’m lying – you know I’m lying – I know that you know I’m lying – so let’s just get on with it.” is the narrative.
Westman says
I’m waiting for, “Well – how was I to know?”
I think the Left is like the USSR Gulag prisoners who still believed the party line in spite of the personal extreme discomfort and suffering. Their ideology is their religion. Although, as you indicate, the Left’s position was emotionally assumed rather than attained by thoughtful analysis, they are still true believers and as such cannot admit error in the religion. In this way, the far Left and Islam are the same.
mortimer says
Westman, you are right on target. A great analogy described by Solzhenitsyn who saw many of these ‘true believing’ Communists in the Gulag. Muslims and Leftists believe so strongly in their DELUSIONAL UTOPIAS and CASTLES IN SPAIN that they have already bought their new furniture and broadloom for the castles.
Westman says
Mortimer, I agree.
I’ve wondered about why fealty to a failing ideology seems so much like the Stockholm Syndrome. It brings to mind the biblical edict, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. I concluded that this edict is incomplete – it does not describe the methodology necessary. The unifying factor is service and sacrifice to the ideology that requires a significant investment, not the power of the ideology alone.
Islam indoctrinates by continual investment in Quran reading, prayer, and zakat. The excessive repetitious prayer is designed to distrupt all other activities and like zakat, create economic sacrifice. Even Obama was conditioned to consider the call to prayer – actually a demand – as a beautiful sound in spite of the fact that Mohammad had people murdered, burned in their homes, for not attending.

Yes. And think about that family’s history from the perspective of “Clockmed’s” school. No doubt the school knew about the sister’s bomb threat history. What are they supposed to do when this kid shows up to school with a device that looks like a suitcase bomb and starts playing around with it? Forget religion or ethnicity, schools HAVE to take this kind of threat seriously.
It made me absolutely sick the way Obama, Microsoft, Facebook et al just fawned all over this little terrorist. At a minimum Clockmed deserved a juvenile criminal record (and to be slapped silly) for pulling a stunt like that in a school. His father belongs in jail. I hope the defendants collect every last penny of their costs from this brat and his family.

In the interview i found on the Daily Beast, the reporter was riding around with the extended clockboy family to some interviews they were giving. After one of the interviews, the sister mentioned that she was very glad that her younger brother was ‘standing up’ after this incident, because she was not able to ‘stand up’ when she was accused of wanting to blow her school up.
I’m not sure if it was the same school, but it was the same district, and a few years previous to the clock boy incident.
“After the MSNBC segment, Eyman and I sit down in the hallway where she says the same thing happened to her as Ahmed.
“I got suspended from school for three days from this stupid same district, from this girl saying I wanted to blow up the school, something I had nothing to do with.”
Eyman talks with the slightest lisp, almost imperceptible, but it becomes stronger as she gets emotional.
“I got suspended and I didn’t do anything about it and so when I heard about Ahmed, I was so mad because it happened to me and I didn’t get to stand up, so I’m making sure he’s standing up because it’s not right. So I’m not jealous, I’m kinda like—it’s like he’s standing for me.”
Eyman said her suspension was in her first year of middle school, “my first year of attempting middle school in America. I knew English, but the culture was different, the people were different.”

When the teacher and the police freaked out because of the clock that was clearly an overreaction. Giving the boy lots of free stuff, why not. As long as its not on the tax payers’ bill. But now there’s money to be made and the father clearly sees an opportunity. Sorry, but that’s enough.
Carolyne says
This was not an overreaction. Perhaps if Officer Scott Peterson had overreacted and entered the school in Florida with his gun drawn, his “Overreaction” would have saved lives. And the Clockboy hoax certainly did cost taxpayers money. The DOJ spent hundreds, perhaps thousands of man hours investigating this hoax. They don’t work for free. People were ostracized and lost their jobs. But I guess you think that was not an overreaction?

I vividly remember when this was in the papers and when I saw the thing, I could tell, even on a television screen, that it was not made from scratch. To this day, I feel the whole thing was a plot to extort money from the school district. Also I doubt that even Ibrahim Itace Muhammed would believe this kid and it proves that President Hussein was so bigoted that he could not see a farce when it was right in front of him just like with the professor who was drunk and locked himself out of his house and Hussein started to rant about the racist police which also was a complete lie that he swallowed hook line and sinker.

Not only was the bomb a hoax, but Clockboy, described by the fawning media as a “genius” who “invented’ and “made” the clock “by himself” was a hoax. Ahmed simply removed the case from a clock radio and mounted the resultant circuit board inside a briefcase. No doubt the poor kid is of modest intelligence, considering his (likely inbred) radical father.
Georg says
$15 million………………………………………………. Would love to know where that number came from. Why not $700 trillion?
LeftisruiningCanada says
The father just got stuck on the number when people said that he could get “15 minutes” of fame by sending his kid to school with a hoax bomb.
Valkyrie Ziege says
; Interesting how so many universities, and collages, which loudly extended enrolment to bomb-hoax boy, although after meeting him, and his family, didn’t admit him to their institute of higher learning. Perhaps bomb-hoax boy wasn’t actually intelligent, instead he was clever, in the British sense of the word, and that isn’t a compliment.
The institutions of higher learning aren’t “-phobic”, they rejected bomb-hoax boy because he didn’t fit the enrolment criteria. Now that is equality.

No, they are back in Texas. Still don’t think I’d count on the court ever seeing any of that money, though.
Carolyne says
We are constantly told that if we see something. say something. In this case, the teacher saw what she thought was a bomb and she called the police and said something. The police came, apparently it looked like a bomb to them too, so they said something, “You’re under arrest.” So they were sued, the DOJ came down on their heads, and the culprit, the little bomb maker in training, got all sorts of rewards even a call from the President. And while it turned out OK, with a judge who had some common sense, the people who said something spent several years with lawyers, depositions, etc, not to mention the worry involved and I think some of them lost their jobs.
Knowing the punishment for “Saying something.” I think I’d keep my mouth closed.
