Recep Tayyip Erdogan is a brazen jihadist who has wrongly accused Europe of sparking a “clash between the cross and the crescent.” He has also called for an “army of Islam” to attack and destroy Israel, and aims to re-establish the Ottoman Empire. Erdogan is a regional despot, bent on expansion and conquest and has made his intention known.
Despite all, Michael Roth, Germany’s minister for the EU, wants to see Turkey join the European Union.
Calls for Turkey’s accession to be halted have grown as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan moves to Islamise the once secular nation and crush political opposition and the free press.
Roth strangely believes that EU values will influence Turkey if the latter joins the EU. He knows nothing about Islamic law.
Just last month, Mr. Erdoğan confirmed membership of the EU remains a “strategic goal” for Turkey under his leadership.
A taste of what’s to come if Erdogan’s “strategic goal” comes to pass: Turkey recently announced its intention to send a “human rights” committee to Europe to probe for “Islamophobia.”
It will be the EU that falls to Turkey in the event of such a merger. EU leaders have already demonstrated their weakness and inability or unwillingness to protect their people from the hijra.
“Germany: Keep ‘Door Open’ to Turkey Joining European Union”, by Liam Deacon, Breitbart, April 18, 2018:
The European Union (EU) should keep the door open for Turkey and its Islamist leader to join the bloc, Germany’s EU minister has insisted.
The nation first applied to join the open-borders club back in 1987, and its bid is been supported by current Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, who said last year that Turkey should “move closer to Europe rather than moving away from us”.
If Turkey joined, it would be the second largest member state by population, giving it significant voting power, and meaning the free-movement bloc has borders with war-torn Syria.
Calls for Turkey’s accession to be halted have grown as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan moves to Islamise the once secular nation and crush political opposition and the free press.
Nevertheless, Michael Roth, Germany’s minister for the EU, seems undeterred, telling a meeting of EU ministers in Luxembourg: “It is in the hands of those responsible in Turkey to decide whether they want to be a member of this European community of values.”
He added: “I would suggest we do not slam the door shut. That would be a wrong signal towards those in Turkey who still long for European values.”

i agree, Battle; i think that’s the name the city should have, and in addition, let’s call yathrib by its original name as well. the monsters who imposed those names on those cities did it only after committing mass murder withing each of them. we don’t need to do *anything* to honor mass murderers!

Yes. I would like to see the Turkish people repatriated to Central Asia, returning Anatolia to its Greek and Armenian populations. Unlikely, true, but that’s the way it should work in my opinion.

Of course joining the EU is a “strategic goal” of Erdogan. He has already voiced his contempt of Europeans. He is sure his hidden army of “guest workers” (who never left Europe) will help him secure what the Ottomans couldn’t — total conquest. He probably believes his re-islamicizing of Turkey will help him recreate the caliphate — the Ottoman caliphate. Anyone who lets this screwball run amok is crazier than he is; they deserve to be locked up.

I know a late 30 something Turkish couple down the pub I drink at. They’re ‘not Muslim’ (their words), and drink/smoke/eat pork. However, she, in particular thinks Muslim terrorism is very little, percentage wise, in the grand terrorist scheme of things. Whilst they’re supposedly no longer Muslim, they just cannot stop saying Muslims are the biggest victims.
gravenimage says
Yes–I’ve seen the phenomenon before.
While many ex-Muslims bravely warn about the threat of Islam, others are still antisemitic and still go on about fake Muslim victimhood.

WHO?? who is authorizing them? EQUALLY STUPID EEJITS.
Peter says
Remove the door, and turn the doorway into a thick wall so that there is NO entry for Turkey into the E.U. It is an enemy state, and should be thrown out of NATO and the Council of Europe to which it does not belong.
Then again, the E.U. and European elites are steadfast in their determination to destroy European civilization, so don’t be surprised if the Ottomans are allowed in the front door with open arms. Clearly, the Turkish and Islamist Trojan Horses that exist already throughout Europe don’t amount to enough “diversity,” “inclusion,” and “multiculturalism.”

Ibrahim: The true treasure of any country is the character of its people. This is why Mohammedan-dominated countries tend to be so backward and spiritually impoverished, even when in possession of oil reserves, which they were neither the first to discover, appreciate the significance of or to exploit.
Mohammedism is a psycho-spiritual disease. With God`s grace and firm resistance from those who remain faithful to him, the plague you share with so many others can be contained and eventually you can all be released from your submission to the self-serving declarations of the obsessed soul, Mohammed, False Prophet of Mr. Allah.

Anyone, in this era of Erdogan, who’s had the dubious pleasure of viewing Turkish television and news in particular, might wonder if they’re not simply watching Groundhog Day re runs of Triumph of the Will — Leni Reifenstal’s infamous propaganda film of the Nazis 1934 Nuremberg rallies.
Of course the language is Turkish, flags and bunting are all Turkish, the official religion, the official fascism more precisely, is Islam not Nazism, and the star of the show is Erdogan rather than Hitler.
You needn’t speak a word of the language to recognise what relentless propaganda it is. It’s all there, glaringly, in the meta narrative: slavish adulation of Turkey’s Sultan, the entirely uncritical platform for him to posture and deliver his daily, menacing monologues, a conga line of sycophantic dignitaries and apparatchiks singing his praises, many striving to imitate him, the blackmailing, threats, the sinister overtones throughout, the descent into near madness. You can almost imagine one, striving like Rudolf Hess to outdo all his rivals, and reaching the same level of sheer lunacy, paraphrasing him in shouting “Islam is Erdogan, Erdogan is Turkey — Turkey is Erdogan!” You do also pick up the Turkish word for “terrorist” sounds very similar to this word in English; nearly every sentence uttered by Erdogan accusing someone or other accordingly. Where would a demagogue, a tyrant be without he and his nation’s alleged, eternal enemies? Where would Islam be without them?
Turks I’ve met are inclined to boast how “united everyone is” in Turkey, until conceding, when its pointed out to them, “except the Kurds”. Astonished at the West’s commitment to multiculturalism, human rights and freedom some even admit Turkey is a very racist country, also acknowledging that if anyone dared say they no longer believed in Islam they’d be carted off to a lunatic asylum. They’ll further shrug and admit they’re glad not to be living (or dying) there nowadays, and not just because terrorist bombs are going off all the time.
Be warned Europe, Islam and fascism fit hand in glove. And understand that your neo fascist EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, whose grandparents owned the company that made the Juncker bombers, is living, Nazi royalty.

Of course obtaining membership in the EU remains a “strategic goal” for Erdogan, the emphasis being on “strategic”. The strategy is, as usual with Islamists, clear for all to see.
Erdogan has made it crystal clear that his intention is to reestablish an Islamic Caliphate, and what better way to do it than to flood a region with millions of muslims, then take that region by first becoming a member, then gaining power because of Liberals’ fear of offending Islam, then implementing Sharia on behalf of the now extremely large population of muslims, and finally on the rest of the Europeans.
Bingo!! A defacto Caliphate made to order and handed over by left wing politicians so very easily.
“Assimilation is a crime against humanity. There is no moderate or immoderate Islam, Islam is Islam. The mosques are our barracks, The minorets are our bayonets, The cupolas our helmets, and the faithful our soldiers.” Tyyip Erdogan, President of Turkey.
